Adobe CC activation is linked with your Adobe Id. No activation code is required. Please refer the kb : http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html giving instructions to install CC apps. Once installed launch any of the CC apps and sign in with your Adobe Id to activate the subscription.

  • Trouble starting indesign after joining creative cloud

    So my trial version of indesign expired and I finally got around to subscribing to creative cloud. On the dashboard when I'm signed into creative cloud, I have the option to 'try' (ie download indesign again) but I'm sure elsewhere it says it's already installed (and it must be. I used it two hours ago).
    When I launch indesign even though I've now paid up for creative cloud I get the Adobe Application Manager telling me my trial's expired, and I don't have an option to do anything except quit.
    Do I need to uninstall indesign and re-install to open the program again? I assume that Creative Cloud lets you do that?
    I'm using a macbook on OS10.7.3

    It will be necessary for you to uninstall the trial version that you have been using. Then you will be able to install Lightroom through the creative cloud application manager. You will be able to open and use the same catalog you have been using.

    Who can I thank at Adobe for the 117 spam emails I received in 24 hours since joining Creative Cloud?  I've tried changing my contact information but it keeps reverting back.

    Click your avatar picture near the upper right corner (slightly to the left of the pencil) and select PREFERENCES then set all Email Preferences to OFF and click Save at the bottom left
    AND
    Another new feature is that Jive7 is oriented toward social networking... so every time you start or reply to a message you are automatically added to a FOLLOW list... meaning you receive a notification of every subsequent message in that thread
    Click the FOLLOW link at the upper right and select STOP FOLLOWING... and don't click the link again to check your status, as you will then be added to the CONNECTIONS STREAM and you will have to uncheck that option as well
    And, after you post in a message thread and select Stop Following, you need to do it all over again the next time you add a reply to the same message thread, since EVERY POST adds you to the automatic Follow list

    I had Lightroom 5 and then joined creative cloud and have been having issues ever since i signed up.  Every time i start lightroom i get a server busy error for hours on end.

    A fix to Lightroom's “Server Busy Error” on a Windows 7 64 bit computer:
    I see in the discussion threads there are a LOT of frustrated people over this Server Busy issue, so I hope this helps someone. This is what Adobe tech support had me do, which fixed my problem. I got through on the phone right away, and the fix took no longer than 20 minutes to determine, with the support person remoting into my computer.
    I already had Lightroom 5.6 installed through my Creative Cloud subscription, and it had worked for a few weeks for me, although with increasing problems with the Server Busy box popping up. I was able to get rid of it by switching to Switch and Retry, but eventually it locked me out entirely.
    Tech Support told me the problem was a permissions issue.
    Try the following and see if it solves your problem:
    In C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe, find the SL Cache folder and move it to your Desktop.
    In C:\ProgramData\Adobe, find the SL Store folder and move it to your Desktop.
    R Click on your Lightroom icon and “Run as Administrator”.
    If it opens correctly, that shows it is working now.
    Close Lightroom and reopen the application normally.

  • When reverting to purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), how do I eliminate request to renew my subscription?

    Creative Cloud just wasn't working for me, so after several years of frustration with being abroad and not online when the program decided to require online verification, I'm ditching Creative Cloud and reverting to the purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product. However, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), it still wants to go online and check my CC subscription, disallowing use of the newly installed point product version from a several year-old ESD file (and the more recent AcrobatUpd11010.dmg file).
    Anyone have an idea of how to eliminate request to renew my subscription?
    If, as a journalist, I've have these issues over the past two years, including this final insult when I'm trying to get away from CC, it can't be a one-off problem. So I'd like to hear details about others who've had a similar issue with reverting from CC back to a point product or to CS.

I have had installed Photoshop CC Trial Version, but had to re-boot the system, so I lost the Software. After re-installing the Creative Cloud Desktop appeared just a White window. I tried to delete the file of OOBD in AppData but no reaction. It still appears as a clear window.

    I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
    I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
    I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
    (I never received a serial number.)
    I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue. 
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?
