Encore is a goner. Licensing restrictions with the MPEG stuff prevent Adobe from providing an unprotected version.
En clair, problème de license avec le MPEG, ce qui explique qu'il n'est plus présent à la réinstallation. Je n'ai pas encore cherché pour la version cs3.

  • About CS2 Production Studio Premium

    hi there.
since my last CS2 install, it seems the activation system has changed.
because of this changing (no longer activate server), my original discs do NOT work anymore.
good thing is, available CS2 by download.
however, i couldn't find Premium Edition which i have been using.
it looks i LOST some of my programs such as; After Effect, Premiere etc... which are included only in Premium.
    Or,
i just couldn't reach to the download page for CS2 Production Studio Premium?
i see the pdf direction says about Premium edition (2 more download files).
if anyone know about this??? ?
my work and project have stacked...
i'm at a loss by this complicated problem...
    thank you very much...

    thank you for the information.
unfortunately, this is not what i'm looking for.
the link you posted is for CS2, not for Premium.
according to the install direction (pdf)...
Premium should have 4th file for programs which are not included standard, and 2nd "extras" file.
i attached the screenshots what the pdf says.
Premium should include 2 more files (marked star: *) and commented at the bottom.

  • Activated Adobe Encore CS6 from Production Premium CS6 suite, closes with Trial Expired error

    Good day,
We have customer owning 10 Adobe Production Premium CS6 packages. And he expiriencing huge problem, after activation, sometimes it was offline cause Workstations were moved from one location to another without internet, and we were forced to process offline activation. After activation all programs activated and starting as it should, but Encore on startup raising error window "Trial Period expired please entere valid serial number to continue" with small OK button in the center, when you press it Encore closes without any additional information or input dialogs or activation. So it's stupid and it's problem, Production Premium CS6 is activated but single package from suite not, but should and i don't see any buttons or options saying activate encore here! or enter valid serial number here!.
So in such obstacles how to start Encore ? Cause it's bought and customer want to work with it and he can't at all, not even in demo/trial mode.
    Best Regards.

  • De-activating and uninstalling/reinstalling CS6 & Production Premium

I need to completely wipe my Macbook because of some software problems... I have CS6 and Production Premium suites. Should I be deactivating my products before the wipe or just un-installing them? I will be re-installing the products onto the same computer once the wipe is completed. My products are physical copies, not subscriptions, and I only have one license. Thanks!

    Hi lindshughes,
    Thanks for contacting Adobe support.
It is always recommended to Deactivate the product before you uninstall it.

I have purchased Production Premium CS4 Educational Version. Its serial number is not working. Please help...

If you recently purchased this then it is not likely to be a valid sale/purchase.  Adobe does not sell older versions of their products and no one but Adobe provides student/teacher licensing.  If you purchased this some time years ago and it is only recently that you find you are not able to reactivate it with the original serial number you can try contacting Adobe Support thru chat and see if they will be willing to work with you to resolve this.

  • I am not able to open one of my photoshop file. I am using Adobe production premium CS6.

    Hi,
I have try to open one comp file in After effects and i am getting an following error for linked PSD,
After that i have tried to open that PSD file in photoshop and i am getting an following error,
I am using Adobe production premium CS6. Could you please anyone faced this problem or provide some solution regarding this.
    Thanks in advance :-)

The individual file has become corrupted somehow.
Happens often to users who work across a network, opening or saving a Photoshop image file to a server.
You're going to have to resort to your backup.
This is the boilerplate text often used in connection to saving to a network (please NOTE the part where it explains that normally, it does work, but that it is impossible to troubleshoot someone else's network remotely, and that's why it's not supported by Adobe):
If you are opening files over a network or saving them to a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the event you are currently experiencing problems with one or more files. Working across a network is not supported.
    See:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406793.html
Copy the CLOSED file from your server to your local hard disk, work on it, save it again to your local hard disk, close it, and copy the closed file back to the server.
Of course, the fact that Adobe does not support working across a network does not necessarily mean it won't work.   It should.
Adobe's position is that there are too many variables in a network environment for them to guarantee that everything will work correctly in every network, especially given the fact that if something does not work properly, it's probably the network's fault, and Adobe has no way of troubleshooting your network.
If you can't work locally, you are on your own, and if something happens, you're on your own. If you must work from a server, make sure your network administrator is a competent professional.
When problems arise, a lot of valuable work can be lost.

  • Dynamic Link not authorized after Production Premium  Upgrade

I have upgraded to Creative Suite 4 Production Premium after previously installing Premiere CS4 and AE CS4 stand-alone. I completely uninstalled both of those programs (and all their associated programs) before installing Production Premium. When I attempt to dynamic link from Premiere to AE, I still get the message "Adobe Dynamic Link requires Adobe Production Premium". Any ideas? (The links to Soundbooth, etc from Premiere seem to work OK)

    YAY!
    Many thanks Keephowlin.
After upgrading my stand-a-lone copy of Prem Pro CS4, I purchased an upgrade version of Production Premium from Adobe (at great expense!!). After some initial issues getting Production Premium to recognise I had an eligble version of Prem Pro I got things up and running (with the help of Adobe Tech Support). To help others, I'll post a separate thread about this later.
Apart from a couple of corrupted dll files (which I have replaced) everything was working fine except that I got the error message when I tried to import an .aep file or went directly to the Dynamic Link menu:
"Adobe Dynamic Link requires Adobe Production Premium"
I followed your solution and FIXED! I can now use the Dynamic Link feature AND import an After Effect .aep file
I am also wondering whether my earlier installation issues at Production Premium failing to validate my Prem Pro was due to the fact I should have de-activated my Prem Pro serial number first.

  • (PProCS4/CS4 Production Premium) Dual Screens Cutting Out

AAbout a month ago I got a new computer with Windows 8.1 (64 bit).  I've loaded Production Premium CS4, but about 50% of the time my monitors will cut out (and bring up NO SIGNAL, and shove everything back to one monitor) and then come back on, and it seems to do it a lot when i've got PProCS4/EncoreCS4 Running, but it'll also do it sometimes when I turn on the computer and Windows is loading.
I'Ve tested all my connections to make sure they're not loose, including the DVI-D to VGA active converter (both monitors are VGA monitors, but one of my connections is DVI-I, so the analog is able to pass through, but my other connections are digital only), but with the converter if it was that, then it shouldn't be shutting down the other monitor.  I've also lowered my resolution just in case my computer was sending to much and was overloading.  (I've got a Radeon HD Graphics card on an AMD A6 6400K motherboard.). I've also disabled my computer and monitor's sleep modes, and it's still occurring.
i've asked my computer builder if they have an idea, and aside from a possible defective graphics card, they were wondering, to get all questions out of the way, if maybe there might be some issue with PPro/Encore or any other program in the Production Premium suite that is causing the monitors to cut out?

    Arnold,
First, you're ranting to fellow Adobe product users, not Adobe. If this were the universal disaster you're claiming, there would be many posts to that effect in the Forums. So, you're pretty much in a minority here. Have you asked product-specific questions in those product forums? If you do, lose the attitude, no matter how bad the problem -- it won't win you any friends or much help.
You do make a point about the way Help has been restructured, as some folks are not happy with the change. But Adobe claims it is the best way to have the latest help information available. Help exists in multiple forms for each app, including searchable manuals as you've used before and knowledgebase and these Forums.
As for apps not working right, you haven't told us anything about your system hardware or software, how you installed the new software, how you prepared your system for installation and what maintenance you've done. So we can't comment or offer suggestions.
But if all you want is a refund, I suggest contacting Adobe directly by phone in your area.

  • Help! CS3 Production Premium major issues in Vista.

I have been having a heck of a time re-installing CS3 Production Premium on my Windows Vista Home Premium computer (32 bit).
    Here are the system stats:
Vista Home Premium 32 bit Service Pack 1
Intel 8500 dual core processor (swapped out old 6400)
    4 GB DDR 800
    (new) 500 GB WD HDD
Nvidia 9600 GTS 512MB Video Card
McAfee Firewall/Viruscan running in place of Windows
    DSL Internet
CS3 Was working great on this computer when it had the slower processor and a smaller HD (160 GB) but since that drive's death and subsequent replacement I have not been able to get a fully successful installation of CS3 to work on this computer. I have done multiple re-installs (format/install) of the OS, CS3 (install and uninstall), running the CleanCS3 script as suggested from tech support, ran under a new user, and install/running under a simplified bootup using msconfig.
CS3 installs successfully but when it comes to starting for the first time it takes about 10+ minutes to load the serial number screen, then hangs and is unable to activate. I then wait another 5-10 minutes for the "phone activation" screen to come up which succeeds.
Once activation is successful I can now boot into most of the CS3 programs with these results:
    AE - Boots OK/Exits OK
PS - Boots OK/Exits Hang on exit (have to force quit)
IL - Boots OK/Exits Hang on exit (have to force quit)
EN - Hang on Boot while building media layer
    FL - Boots OK/Exits OK
    PR - Hang on Boot
    SB - Boots OK/Exits OK
Please help anyone! I'm at wits end here as to why something that was working so well just days before on the same OS and Antivirus/Firewall system has since ceased to work properly. I am having to borrow the Macintosh from work in order to get work done using their copy of the CS3 suite.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Can I legally sell my CS3 Production Premium Academic?

I recently purchased an academic version of Adobe CS3 Production Premium (full, not an upgrade). It has been nothing but a nightmare and I am extremely unhappy with every aspect of the product. I have deactivated it and was forced to reformat my hard drive (low level)and reinstall Windows (per recommendation of Adobe tech support) because it completely borked my TCP/IP settings somehow and caused massive registry errors, and according to Adobe, leaves markers in the MBR that relate to the Flexnet licensing and Windows operation.
I has been well over 30 days and the vendor I purchased from stated quite clearly that I am no longer entitled to a refund, only a courtesy exchange. Since I will never use CS3 ever again, an exchange is not helpful to me.
I have already registered the software, but now have deactivated and have no trace of Adobe software of any kind on my computer. What are the legal rights concerning selling the software package, in its entirety, through channels such as ebay? If it is legal to do so, what steps must I take to ensure that the purchaser can register and use the program without my registration conflicting?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark Terry

    >It's hard to take a rant like this seriously, or agree with anything >that's
    >been said, when it's constructed entirely of sweeping >generalisations with
    >no reference to facts.
I'm not writing a scientific paper for peer-based review. I'm simply giving my opinion of the software and why I am desperate to sell it to recoup my losses.
I have already written in these forums time and time again with numerous CS3 related problems, as have hundreds of others who had similar problems with crashing software, botched installs, and endless headaches related to Flexnet licensing.
On top of that, in the brief period of time that CS3 did work, I found Photoshop CS3 to be less responsive than CS2 (or even 7!), and the interfaces for After Effects, Encore, and Premiere had horrible "jiggly" UI elements that would shift around with terrible redraw issues.
As an experienced computer user, my first instinct is to examine my system and reserve judgment on the software. However, after diagnostics my system was seen to be behaving normally. It's a 2.66GHz dual core system with 2GB ram and dual 8800 GTS 512 video cards, all the latest stable drivers and performs exceedingly well with all the other software I routinely utilize. Only Adobe CS3 was having this trouble; at first.
After the numerous steps taken to deactivate, reactivate, (so many deactivations and reactivations that Adobe had to "reset" my limit twice) uninstall and reinstall, running the cs3clean utility along with the Microsoft cleanup utility my entire TCP/IP subsystem became corrupted as well as numerous registry entries. Soon my system was taking upwards of eight minutes to boot up and I had no network functionality at all.
The fact that I was knowledgeable enough to rectify the situation doesn't diminish the fact the CS3 cost me not just hours, but weeks of hassle with its problems (causing such systemwide havoc as to render my syste unusable for any work at all). Only after all traces of Adobe software were entirely removed did my system regain normal functionality. This required a ow level format, according to Adobe, since they write licensing information to your MBR, to prevent people from using multiple copies of software in various boot sessions.
It seems evident (to me) that the crux of the problem is the Flexnet licensing system. It is so blunt and clumsy that the slightest problem renders everything useless. I understand Adobe's need to prevent unauthorized use, but if that means punishing the legal and the loyal, and furthermore, when it interferes with the functionality and dependability of the software, then I have to say that I will not use the software.
Whether or not the root of the problem is Flexnet, or Adobe, or my system, the bottom line is that the software simply does not do what it was intended to do.
For now I am relying on other software, which, to varying degrees, gets the job done. Of course, I'm left with a copy of CS3 gathering dust on my shelf. The box is quite heavy though, I coud use it as a doorstop and make beer coasters of the DVDs.

  • Workplace laptop install of Production Premium CS6 - invalid serial number

I started a new job a couple of months ago and was given a desktop machine running Windows 7 that had The Adobe Production Premium installed on it. Since a large part of my position entails video shoots, I was recently given a laptop (also Windows 7) for use in the field.
I know for a fact I am the only employee using the Adobe Production Premium that was purchased, and as far as I know the only install prior to my arrival was my desktop computer. I was given the serial number from the prior purchase, but when I tried to install it on the laptop, I received an error that the serial number was invalid. It was my understanding retail versions allowed for two installs per user: one for a desktop, one for a laptop?
Also, the software was originally purchased by an employee who no longer works for the company, so I don't have access to the Adobe ID information. A search of company software purchases we DO have on file also did not give any results.
    Thoughts?

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

  • Production Premium CS6 Reinstall

    Hello,
I am about to reinstall my Adobe Production Premium CS6 suite due to failing hardware corrupting the dynamic link server. I have already done this once, but my question this time is: Will the key code return used when I try to install it? Do I need to deactivate the package before reinstallation? Or can I just reinstall it and enter the key again no issue?
    Thank you,

if the the software is still installed and accessible then before uninstalling it you should deactivate it  (open an app and choose Help -> Deactivate).  Otherwise, contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.  You normally have two activations available to you, but it is better to not waste one in case you want/need it for another machine.
