Activation Date 17 days later from Installation Kit! Ridiculous!
Has this happened to anyone else out there? I ordered my DSL package on August 12th and my activation Date is on August 29th! Whats the point of receiving the Installation Kit quickly but having to wait 2 weeks for it to work! My job requires me to have the internet and its very disappointing to know I have to wait this long for it to work! I would have chosen another service provider if I knew this! Then I called yesterday expressing my frustration and they said they would get back to me today and they have yet to call me! What a bummer and my service hasnt event begun yet!
If you have a NID outside of your home, you may want to see if one of the test jacks within the NID give service. It could be possible the inside wiring isn't connected to Verizon's network. You might have already tried this already, but check this FAQ out: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/6110

Activation date 2 days ago and still no broadband
Hi Everyone
I ordered broadband on an existing bt phone line on 17th June and was given an activation date for 3 weeks later. My activation date was Monday and 2 days later I am still without a connection. The website tracker syas that "Your Broadband order is in hand with a member of our team, if there are any issues we will contact you. Please continue to check online for further updates" The Indian call centre promised me a call back as they needed to contact 'their supplier'. 24 hours on from that phone call and this hasnt happened. Would a mod be able to give me their contact details so they can look into this to find out what the delay is and how long the process might take. Working from home means I need a continuity of internet provision moving from one supplier to the next.

JohnJust finished a live chat session as the promised returned phonecall never materialized. The operator said that "The reason for the delay is regarding the ground work for the cables to be connected from the exchange". How can this be the case when it's BT broadband coming through an already installed BT phone line that has been carrying broadband from another provider. It's not BT infinity as that hasnt rolled out to this part of Bristol yet. In the live chat he said that I should have broadband by 13th July, which is a whole working week after the promised start date.

Contacts and calender dates 1 day late
I have just purchased the latest iPad 4 and in the contacts list birthdays etc are all 1 day late? Also this shows in the calender on all views eg: day, week and month view eg: my birthday is the 9th September but it shows as the 10th September in both contacts and calender. I have checked time zone in settings under date and time and it is set to Wellington NZ. The date shows correct when I go into the calender eg: today is Sat 24th Nov but once again birthdays still show 1 day late.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. CheersHi,

Unable to view data in physical later from a view
Hi ALL,
WHile viewing the data from view in physical later i am getting the following error:
Oracle error code : 936, ORA-00936 missing expression.
SQL statement preparation failed.
I tried enabling the option for require fully qualified table names but still the same error.
Also update view count works fine but error is given only on view dta

32 bit windows version
Any suggestions what i am missing here.

You try to build the rpd with the view and pull the view in answers and check the results. In the physical layer, you might have the logic for getting the view and you need to check its results in answer.
The table which you are using in the view, check for the data in that table in the physical layer. If thats producing results then you should not have trouble in answer.
Or you need to deploy the view.

Imac purchase out of date 9 days later
I purchased an iMac on October 3rd. It was delivered on October 9th. The new iMac was introduced on October 20th. What Apple's guidelines for exchanging the old model for the newer model if a new model is introduced so soon after the purchase?
Except during the Christmas Season, product purchased between 31 OCT and 24 DEC, all purchases made directly from Apple, whether online, on the phone or in an Apple Store are subject to their 14 day return policy. If you are dissatisfied with the product you may return the item for a refund or an exchange, usually minus a 10% restocking fee for opened boxes. This only applies to stock models. If you customized the order with a larger HDD, more RAM, a custom graphics card, then the only way to return it is if is Dead On Arrival.
You also have a 14 day time period in which to request a refund for a price change. If Apple had marked down your model within 14 days of purchase you could have asked for a refund of the difference.
But the only way to return the product or to receive a refund for a price change is to have contacted Apple within the 14 day time frame allotted to do so. After the 14 days the sale is final.

Currently we are sending the pricing, promotions & article master data delta load to 3rd party system from SAP ECC via SAP XI through IDOCS using daily scheduled batch jobs WPMU. IDOC segment - WP_PLU.
Here the issue is the promotion & pricing data are sent to 3rd party system one day before the actual start date.
Eg: Promotion 123456 which has start date as 15/05/2014 & ending on 30/05/2014 & was created & activated on 13/05/2014.
This promotion 123456 is getting triggered from SAP ECC through batch job on 14/05/2014 morning & 3rd party system receives the data on 14/05/2014 & the promotion are getting activated at 3rd party system end on 14/05/2014 itself which actually gets active from 15/05/2014.
Same in the case for Standard Pricing data which needs to be active from 31/05/2014 once the promotion 123456 ends on 30/05/2014.
The standard pricing data gets triggered from SAP ECC on 30/05/2014 through batch job & reaching 3rd party system on 30/05/2014 & getting activate on 30/05/2014 itself.
This creates more issues at the store end as well as affecting business.
We checked at 3rd party system end & they replied that their system considers the updated time stamp & date to activate the prices & it does not considers the actual active from & active to date. They need the data to be sent from SAP ECC on the effective date of the pricing & promotions.
Can any one help me how to change the pricing conditions beign triggered through batch job in SAP ECC based on the actual promotion & pricing conditons start date or is there any other process to trigger the data through the batch job on the actual promotion & pricing data activation date.

Change the lead time in the POS Outbound Profile. You can't put less than 2 days there so data for today and tomorrow will be transferred which also means you need to adjust your batch timing accordingly.
Sales and Distribution -> POS Interface -> Outbound -> Maintain Profile for POS Outbound.
See if it helps. The best option would still be that the 3rd part system considers the activtion date.

Yes i understand the purpose however i still feel as though i should be able to decide for myself if i want to use them as an "option" or turn them off entirely. It's sort of akin to the "trash bin" that's not really trash, though in that instance at least microsoft and Apple listened to consumers (eventally) and allowed users to make the choice. Hey there's a thought how about Apple points the delete to the trash bin and looses the annoying popup, that way we can restore cookies? Sorry, i'm being sarcastic but in my view, if i delete a cookie or a cached web icon it's not exactly the same thing as "saving us" from deleting a spreadsheet or system files. Oh but wait in that instance i CAN delete them without having to endure the annoying "are you sure" pop up. it looks like someone missed the bus on this one. Thanks again I'll check the web for the terminal command and try and edit the tag myself. -
Count of Active Customers each day between two dates

I have a table as shown in the screenshot. The id column is a customer id, and the activated and cancelled date columns represent when a customer signed-up or cancelled their subscription. I want to count how many customers were active each day (from
the earliest activation date to the current date, note non-cancelled customers have a cancelled date of 2099-01-01). Any suggestions on how to do this?

You will need a Calendar table (Google it) and a book on basic data modeling. We use a NULL for missing data in SQL and RDBMS. This is how we implement the ISO half-open temporal model. We also use DATE for dates now. There is no need to use the old Sybase/UNIX
datetime with '00:00:00.000' and in fact it is awful coding today.

In solution manager you can do the analysis of the ADC data files (Portal activity reporting) as as part of the End-to-End Diagnostics (Portal Activity Reporting tab in the End-to-End Workload Analysis).
Will you see the Portal Activity Reporting tab under End-to-End Workload Analysis?
by default PAR in SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 is deactivated ,since we requires
some manual configuration of the Activity Data Collector.
please follow the attached config guide in the SAP note for configuration.

TS4006 Stolen iPhone disappeared from my iCloud Account a day later.
My iPhone5 was stolen, it displayed as "offline" in Find My iPhone and I activated lost mode and selected a message to display. The next day when I checked it did not display in the device list at all - only my macbook air displays. How did my iPhone5 get completely removed from my iCloud account?
Activation Lock will prevent the phone from being re-activated or Find My Phone from being turned off without knowing your Apple ID/Password. If the phone is locked with a passcode, unless the thief can guess your passcode, your data is safe. The phone is effectively useless to whoever has it.
I'd suggest changing your Apple ID password. -
Data not going from active data table to new data table -DSO activation iss

Data is going from DSO1 to DSO2. I see some of the records are getting missed in DSO 2 which are supposed to come.
There is start routine from DSO1 TO DSO2 and as per the start routine some records should come but they are getting missed.

You are trying to update/upload the Records which are already been there in the DSO Active Data Table which has the partition.
Try to see the Record Nos already been activated and update/upload with selective, if possible.
You can trace the changes at Change log table for the same.

I downloaded the free Mavericks upgrade to my late 2008 MBP on Friday. I made sure to plug in my external hard drive so that Time Machine could back up beforehand. (I should say I'm not clear about the different kinds of backups that Time Machine does - I just plug it in and let it go.).
So have tried several times over the weekend to install, it takes 46 minutes each time - only to tell me it can't do it. There was an error message of needing to contact the software provider (or something similar). After searching the internet (on my husband's computer - since my MBP is rendered useless right now) I decided maybe I should wait on Mavericks and just do a system restore. However, when I plugged in the Hard Drive and proceed to System Restore, the latest date available is one from September of 2012 (14 months ago)... I've wondered if the date might be wrong? But I'm afraid to choose it because I'm not sure what I would lose. It might take me back to Snow Leopard rather than Lion... (however, the version on Restore was 10.8.1 which is Mtn Lion, right? Even tho it was last year...)
Some sources online say that I should go into applications and delete the install -- but I can't get to anything on my computer.
I tried to do a reboot in safe mode - but not sure if it worked...
I did look on the installer log error and the latest error is:
Local Host Report crash [378]

30 days late on payment due date
I have a past due payment that has a due date of June 9th, 2015. On the day of July 9th, 2015, it will be 30 days that my account is past due. Questions: -If I make my payment to post on 7-9-15 (30 days late), will my account be in danger of being reported late to the CRA? Would it be recommended to have the payment post on 7-8-15 (29 days late) instead?-Once the account is 30 days late, is it automatically reported to the credit bureaus? Or do creditors still decide if they want to to work with the customer to bring the account current to avoid the derogatory mark?
I spoke with my creditor and they said that on 7-9-15 I will be 29 days late, not 30 days late. On 7-10-15 is when they will consider my account 30 days past due and they will automatically report this information to the CRAs. The creditor also told me I should be OK by making sure my payment posts on 7-9-15. I think it would be a better idea to have it post 7-8-15 just to be safe. Since my due date was on 6-9-15, on the day of 6-10-15 my account would be 1 day past due. According to the creditor's calculation, my account wasn't 1 day past due until the day of 6-11-15.
