Activation of 7.x datasource not allowed due to changability of object type

Hi All,
We are facing the following issues.
Some times we need to replicate and activate 7.x datasource at the production system but the system doesn't let as due to "changes not allowed" settings on SCC4 transaction.
We thought that it could be possible giving permissions for Object changeability through dataware house workbench: Transport Connection. (menu edit -> transport -> Object changability). However it looks like there is no object type datasource available.
Does anyone have an Idea how the above is possible.

This error is occuring in our system due to Not Changable authorization in Production system. I am raising Oss Message to SAP to look into this issue and will let you know if anything possitive comes up.

I am getting the fllowing error while creating a delivery. The delivery message says create delivery not allowed ( Sys. Status EXLS,object vb0004321713000010)
Diagnosis : the status check for the status object VB0004321713000010 indicated that the procedure "create delivery" cannot be performed because Sys. status EXLS forbids it
System response: procedure create delivery is not performed
Procedure
If procedure is to be performed, the Sys. status EXLS of the object VB0004321713000010 must be reset.
Other statuses thatn Sys. status EXLS can also prevent the procedure. This message does not tell you all status which currently prevent procedure create delivery.
Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue?

It seems that status profile is activated.
So goto SAles order header or Item level and goto status tab and release the sales order by clicking on the status EXLS

Document type ZD does not allow you to assign to object MARA

I have created a Z document type.but its not allowing me to assign in mm02.what might be the problem..? its throwing an error message Document type ZD does not allow you to assign to object MARA.

You need to enable object linking to mara on your new document type. Go to Tcode DC10, select the document type and then go to the object links area. Create a new object link for your document type.

The control type xyz is not allowed on this page. The type is not registered as safe.

Hi all,
I have a solution, say My.Solution, I have a project My.Project in that.In that project I have a few features.I added a visual webpart.In the properties of that, I can see that it has a safe control entry for that.I did not rename any namespace or class name.
I just added this webpart to a new feature(which has List Definition and instance) and deployed it.The class name of the visual webpart is Foo and this is in the namespace My.Solution.Foo.
I opened the sharepoint designer and edited the masterpage.I referenced this in masterpage as
<%@ Register TagPrefix="cus" Namespace="My.Solution.Foo" Assembly="My.Solution, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=87a45275f2ea36e3" %>
and I added this to the masterpage as
<cus:Foo runat="server" id="customvisualwebpart"/>
After I save in the designer and refresh the browser, I get the error,
The control type 'My.Solution.Foo.Foo' is not allowed on this page. The type is not registered as safe.
I checked the .webpart file and it has the namespace, My.Solution.Foo.Foo. The .spdata has a safecontrol entry too as
<SafeControl Name="SafeControlEntry1" Assembly="$SharePoint.Project.AssemblyFullName$" Namespace="My.Solution.Foo" TypeName="*" IsSafe="true" IsSafeAgainstScript="false" />
The assembly that contains the webpart is alread deployed to the GAC there.
The web.config for that in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\12345 does not have a safe control entry. I don't want to add it there manualy as I don't have access to web.config in prod
Can somebody tell me what is wrong and what I need to do to fix it?

That suggests that another application has stashed old QuickTime componentry in your system files.
So just in case we'll go looking for older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, open the "System32" folder.
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

OpenSQL DataSource not allowed if select-for-update is used Error?

I have created an enterprise application, EJB (Session + entity) + WAR, and corresponding ear file deployes with the following warning message, I have done similar apps in the past without erros.
Warning: DataSource TMP_EMPLOYEES_DATA is OpenSQL. It is used by an abstract schema that uses select-for-update locking. It is now allwed to use OpenSQL DataSource if select-for-updaet is used.

while I do not propose an alternative solution, I'd like to add some explanation to the error message itself: Open SQL for Java strives to provide portable semantics across the set of supported databases and does not offer features which can not be provided by all the databases.
Now, a SELECT .. FOR UPDATE in the semantics as used here is not generally available, in particular not regarding the locking semantics.
Thus, the feature is rejected in combination with a Open SQL/JDBC data source.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -

Cannot install updates - sys admin control does not allow - pc is no longer on the domain

When I try to run Windows update, it is not allowed due to system administrator is in control. The pc was on a domain, but is no longer.
I changed the registry keys and local security policy entries per multiple searches on the web.

You meant your PC had add into domain, but left afterwards, isn't it? It would be better to provide a screenshot for your error message.
How about create a new user account to make a test? This problem probably caused by Windows left domain imperfect.
In addition, you can also run gpresult /z >policy.txt command to check your current Policy settings if there is any policy disable Windows update.

When create Freight conditon for po item, if i choose a one-time vendor , it gives me an error "One-time vendor not allowed for this transaction" .
Why it happened? How to config system let one-time vendor be the conditon's vendor ?

what is your account group for the vendor if OTA (one time account ) is ticked for that account, the system will not allow you to give the condition type FRA1.
Please correct me if I m wrong and revert back if any doubt.

Goods movement 107 to 101 is not allowed

Hello friends,
I was trying to post GR for order using MIGO_GO with movement type 101, but system is not allowing to change default 107 movement type to 101.
However,on other hand system is allowing to post it through MB31.

While looking at Correction Instructions for a note, its pointing to changes in Object Type FUGR, REPS
I am familiar with Object Type Class and methods and how to navigate to them but am unfamiliar on how to check the Object Type FUGR, REPS and the corrections made to them.
Is there any standard T-code or process to check the Object Type FUGR, REPS ?

SAP systems record all changes made in the system in transport requests. There are different types of transport objects, depending on the type of change. Each transport object consists of three pieces of information:
·        Program ID
·        Object type
·        Object name
Program ID can be R3TR, LIMU, or LANG. R3TR is a group of objects, and LIMU is a subobject of a larger object. This means, for example, that R3TR PROG RSPFPAR is the transport of the program RSPFPAR with all its information (source code, text elements, properties, ...), while LIMU REPT RSPFPAR describes the text elements of this program.
The complete object R3TR PROG includes the following subobjects, among others:
LIMU REPS
LIMU REPT
LIMU DYNP.

The account cannot be validated error was due to a glitch on our activation server that has been fixed now.

While creating activity type, we will assign a secondary cost element (with category 43) in the activity type through which the activity cost will flow.
After that we will plan for cost center in KP06 (cost elementwise). Then we will plan machine hours in KP26 where we will link the activity type to a particular cost center.

When we do price calculation in KSPI, system checks the planned costs for cost center (in KP06) and also checks the machine hours planned (in KP26) and gives the cost for the particular activity type.
