Activation of additional Switch BC sets

Hello,
I've recently activated several business functions for Utilities via the Switch framework.
Apparently a few additional BC-sets have been saved with inconsistencies and therefore not all Switch BC sets are "on"
The reason for this inconsistency is that SAP delivered standard entries in the BC-set while in there exist no such entries in the system database table.
The activation of this switch is ended with error "Activation ended" reason is "Differences between BC Set and system Data"
My question: How can this be resolved?
Also, I suspect that is not necessary that all additional BC-sets are activated in order to have a good working IS-U environment
Important remark: I'm not able to find these additional BC-sets through transactions SCPR20 or SCPR3 (only the general ones are there) Why is this?

Hello Joke,
First, in TA SCPR3 you have to set your settings to allow displaying Switch BC sets.
-> Utilities ->User Settings . Then select option 'Allow displaying Switch BC sets'
TA SCPR20 is use for Classic BC sets
Second, Non-cascading do not automatically unpack BC sets in all clients. Therefore, depending how the activation was triggered may influence in which client the BC sets are activated. If the BC sets are activated by the transport of Switch Framework settings, most probably they were activated in client 000 only.
You may require extra options to activate the BC sets, i.e. activate them in Logon Client.

From the provided attachment, I could see that you already accessed TA SFW_BROWSER.
From the BC set screen, you have access to the Activation log ('page' icon next to the 'Activate' icon).

Activation of Additional actions for existing Pers. Nos

Hi Frdz,
We have a scenario on additional actions that is; activation of additional actions for existing personnel numbers.
1. Actually we uploaded personnel actions data without activating the additional actions in T529A. Then we came to know that can activate existing personnel numbers by maintain activation of additional actions T code OG00.
I tried to activate per above procedure but SYS thrown error Pers.no XXXX X Error while creating additional actions.
2. As well as Im facing one more issue in Ad hoc query. When ever I transport query form DEV server to other servers I cant execute query using assigned T code directly but once we execute query through SQ01, can execute with T code but this procedure cant follow because in PRD I dont have any access.
Hence, kindly let me know the solutions to overcome these issues.

1. While activating Additional Personnel Actions u vl find the node where in for already created personnel numbers u can activate. So maintain that node.
2. Usally Adhoc Query authorization vl not be given to one particular user as its related with All The Users authorization as its related with client Administration.
So Check vth ur basis guy

The software switch is in the task bar at the bottom. Double tap the home button and swipe to the right in the bottom of the screen. The speaker icon on the left would be where the software switch would be.
If you don't see a lock icon in the upper right corner, the screen isn't locked, reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

HT4085 can't ghet sound on i pad. when pushing side button icon appears showing sound is on. Must be something else that needs to be set differently. Side switch is set to mute. Any one experience this and have a solution

There are two different sound levels, one is the normal sound level and the other one is sound affects, turn the volume up on buttens and view the multitakting bar and then swipe to the left the show the sound volume, in settings you can change which one is set to buttens also.

        Usual procedure
1) BC sets will be attached to SAP note usually. Download it and unzip it , you will get a *.bcs file
2) Call transaction SCPR20  BC set --> Upload In the dialog box that then appears, specify the files that you unpacked
Import the set BC into a package that you have defined. activate it with the "Expert mode"
3) You will also get a *.txt file with prog id , obj etc entries , then you have to go to SE09 and create a transport request in the source client of your Solution Manager system (client 000). Open the *.txt and copy the entries it contains into the transport request. Use transaction SCC1 to import the data in your Solution Manager client(s
Business Configuration Sets (BC-CUS)
Customizing settings can be collected by processes into Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets). BC Sets make Customizing more transparent by documenting and analyzing the Customizing settings. They can also be used for a group rollout, where the customizing settings are bundled by the group headquarters and passed on in a structured way to its subsidiaries.
BC Sets are provided by SAP for selected industry sectors, and customers can also create their own.
When a BC Set is created, values and combinations of values are copied from the original Customizing tables into the BC Set and can be copied into in the tables, views and view clusters in the customer system. The BC Sets are always transported into the customer system in which Customizing is performed.
The loading of BC Sets is logged by the system, i.e. which BC Set was copied when into the system, and any errors which occurred. This information is significant for Continuous Change and Upgrade.
The settings in the BC Set can be compared with the system data using the Customizing Cross-System Viewer, to check the consistency of the data.
Advantages of using BC Sets:
·         Efficient group rollout.
·         Industry sector systems are easier to create and maintain.
·         Customizing can be performed at a business level.
·         Change Management is quicker and safer.
·         Upgrade is simpler.

Error in activating transformation to UOM0MATE - after setting up 0BASE_UOM

We have tried to set-up the Unit conversion in NetWeaver 2004s. By loading data to 0MAT_UNIT_ATTR and then further on to UOM0MATE.
The join between the infoobjects are as follows:
MATNR - 0MATERIAL
MEINH - 0UNIT
0BASE_UOM .... (see description below)

Active Sync - What attributes to set in UserMap

I am have written an active sync adapter for MySQL Table. I am not sure what attributes to add in the user map object that is passed in the list of updates.

Data Slice dynamic activation and deactivation for a set of users

Hi Experts,
                 We have requirement to manually enter the data into RTC using IP.
There are 2 sets of users --> Power Users and Normal Users.
We need to allow the normal users to enter the data only from 1st to 5 th working day of every month.
Power Users should have authorization to edit and enter the data at any time.
Can any one suggest how to set the dataslice using code.

Please note that update of RSPLS_DS table do not affects at RUNTIME.
If you want to create dataslice that activated and deactivated within sequence run you should do the next:
1. Create exit variable that return you all working days EXCEPT 1 to 5 of each month.
2. Create dataslice in modeler on this characteristic with restriction by this exit variable.
3. This dataslice should be based on ABAP class as described [here|https://www.box.net/shared/zhirrvk859].
4. In mydataslice method enter following code (I assume you have any DSO with definition whether user is power user or not. Lets say DSO has next structure:

Enter the next code in mydataslice method:
SELECT Z_IS_POWER FROM YOURDSO INTO lv_POWER WHERE USER=sy-uname.

ELSE. *This is regular user. Do not allo locked data edition

5. Create in modeler 2 planning sequences for activating and deactivation dataslice as described in document.
6. Each time you want to do something with locked data run first sequence for deactivation of dataslice. If super user will run it so dataslice will be deactivated, but if regular user - dataslice will lock the data.

LOV switcher and set current Row

Hi
I have a LOV switcher attached to one of the columns in the view object.
It works fine while switching the LOV's in mostly all conditions.
But its failing for one case.
We are using checkboxex to select a row , and do a operation in the row.
To do this, the button on which the operation is performed ...
1)we have checked which row has the transient value of check box as checked
2) Set the current row of the iterator to the row that comes from the selected check box index..
3) Called the operation.
But as the code go to step two and the current row is set to the required row, all the LOV 's in all the rows start showing the Default LOV which is selected in the LOV switcher, if i do a f5 fr the page, the original values are restored.
Also if the VO fecth size is 25 , it gives wrong value for 25 rows, if i scroll through the table again it automatically shows the correct value.
This has been taking a lot of out time to debug the issue.
I guess its somethng to do with LOV switcher , set current row and the table getting refreshed incorrectly on set current row

I actually sorted the issue out
had to write
iterator.refresh(Row.REFRESH_CONTAINEES); after iterator.setCurrentRowWithKey(row.getKey().toStringFormat(true));
But not sure if thts correct ...

Activation error when trying to set up face time

I can't activate my face time on iPad mini,it keeps on saying that there is an activation error.why is this as my email is working fine.thanks

2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled

Connect additional switch to existing switch, receiving vlan mismatch, also want to configure same VLAN's

Hello! I have a network in with a i have a switch stack configured for voice and data. Particularly, both are configured to pass over the same port.
I want to add a temporary switch (different model) to the network and configure it the same way. In particular, I want to see that I can set up the voice/data VLAN's on this new switch and test to confirm all is working. I need an uplink though back to the original switches so that this new switch can get a proper connection.
When I connect the new switch in, I can't seem to get an IP and the CLI keeps showing a "Native VLAN mismatch error" and shows the hostname of the original switch.
So my questions are:
How can I add this temporary switch to the existing switch to get a connection, not as another stacked switch?
How can I configure the voice/data VLAN's on the switch so as to be able to test the voice/data traffic over the same port?

Hi! Yes I did change the native vlan for that particular port on "Sw2" (New switch) to match "Sw1" (existing switch). The Sw2 port shows native vlan inactive though.
