Activation of BEx History failed during SPRO setting

Hi,
I was getting error message saying that "Activation of BEx History failed".While configuration setting in SPRO
After upgrade system from BW 3.x to BI 7.0
I was getting the error message during setting in SPRO
Please some one would provide me answer.

The error is due to authorization.
You must ask your BASIS guy to open up the server to allow changes.
Once the BASIS did that, just rerun the TCode and it will works correctly.
Hope it helps.

  • Error when activating the BEx history

    Hi,
When I am trying to activate the BEx history through transaction 'RS_PERS_ACTIVATE', I am getting the error saying  'Activation of BEx History failed'. Then when I checked the DSO '0PERS_BOD' it is inactive also the corresponding table '/BI0/APERS_BOD00' not exists in data dictionary table. Because of this I am getting Error message while opening the BEx analyzer saying 'serious error occured while reading history folder'. So kindly suggest me in making the DSO '0PERS_BOD' active. I hope this will solve the problem.
    Thanks in advance,
    Steve.

    Hi,
'Version A of DataStore object 0PERS_BOD does not exist' is not the estimate message.
    1. RSA1
    2. BI Content
    3. Object types
    4. grouping -> only necessary objects
    5. data store object -> select object
    6. search to "0pers_"
    7. mark "0PERS_BOD", "0PERS_VAR" and "0PERS_WTE" -> Transfer Selection

  • What shall i do my iphone showing activation failed during startup?

what shall i do my iphone showing activation failed during startup?

    Hi funkeyankey,
It sounds like your phone is not activating correctly when you are trying to set it up. I would recommend the troubleshooting from the following article named:
    Get help activating your iPhone
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3424
Check the system status for iOS Device Activation. If the iOS Device Activation status isn't green, try activating your iPhone later.
    Restart the iPhone.
Try to reach the activation server another way, then try to activate.
Try connecting to a known-good Wi-Fi network if you can't activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you can't activate using Wi-Fi.
    Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you try to activate your iPhone, place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you still can't complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Apple for assistance.
If you're asked to enter a password to proceed with activating the iPhone, Activation Lock might be enabled as part of Find my iPhone.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted).. Query execution failed for data set

    Hi All,
    I'm facing a strange problem..
I've developed few reports. they are working fine in develop environment. after successfull testing they were published on web.
in web version, all reports are executing for first time.. if I change any of parameters values or without chaning also..
if I press "View Report"  following error occurs..
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for data set 'dsMLGDB2Odbc'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
please suggest any alternative ways to overcome this issue
    thanks in adv.

in my case the problem is
one virtual machine is for developers
    other for testers
in developers i created a report, then save like *.rdl and copy to testers machine, does not work there
the error what testers get is
Error during the local report processing.
Could not find a web-based application at http://developersMachine/AnalyticsReports/DataBaseConnector.rsds
and the solution is to use alternative url or in some cases http://localhost/

  • HT201210 New iPad can't reach activation server during initial set up

During initial set up my new iPad could not reach the activation server

I wouldn't say that it is a common problem but it happens.
Are you using the cable and a connecting to iTunes? If the iPad2 came with iOS 5 on it then OTA activation is possible.
How are you trying to activate?

  • Query execution failed for data set

    Hi,
We are using SQL 2005 server for generating reports. When we ran the reports it taking so much time after some time it shows this error:---
ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: An error has occurred during report processing. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Query execution failed for data set  ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded.
    Can you help me out.
    Thanks,
       --Amit

My team is also facing similar problem. The RS trace logs report:
    w3wp!processing!13!9/26/2007-15:31:23:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Query execution failed for data set 'msdb'., ;
Info: Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Query execution failed for data set 'msdb'. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded.
    Operation cancelled by user.
In our system, Report Server and Database are on different machines. Report Server access database using a service account who has stored proc execute permissions on database.
Problem comes only if the query execution time exceeds 5 mins. Otherwise the report gets generated successfully.
I suspected this to be some timeout issue. But I have checked that all timeout settings in rs config files are as default.
    Any pointers?
    Thanks

  • MDT 2012 - Image failing during system restore - C:\LTIBootstrap still there. Autologin not happening.

    Hello,
I'm hoping someone can assist.  I have an image that was working but the builtin admin account was disabled.  I went into the image and enabled the account and set a password.  I ran sysprep and capture.  Now, when i try to deploy either
image, it installs the OS, reboots and then sits at a login (does not go into the admin account to continue).  I login and i notice that LTIBootstrap.vbs is sitting on the root of c along with the Minint folder and other MDT folders.  I have MDT
on 2 servers and they both do the same thing.  Unattend.xml in c:\minint has the correct local admin/password

    Hi Rick,
To my understanding, sysprep and to be more specific the "gerenalize" step will make sure all personalized information will be removed before entering the capture mode.
I'm aware additional created account's will be preserved, but I can't tell you about the built-in administrator account.
The first thing that comes to mind is that, your Build task sequence uses a Unattend.xml, just the same as your Deploy task sequence does this.
Assuming that you don't do anything you haven't mentioned with the account in the task sequence, like renaming the admin account or setting a different password during the task sequence. Cross checking both your Unattended.xml would be a good place to start.
Also, it is known, that Windows allows the machine to be auto logged on, a couple of times. So please check if this isn't also the case. See this link for more info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324737
Lastly if all else fails, you can set the account enabled, and a password by commandline, but this should only be done as a temporarily work around. See these links for more information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/251394 and http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/3040.enable-disable-the-local-hidden-built-in-administrator-account-in-windows-7.aspx
    Good luck!

  • EAP-TLS or PEAP authentication failed during SSL handshake

    Hi Pros,
I am a newbie in the ACS 4.2 and EAP-TLS implementation, with that being said. I face an issue during a EAP-TLS implementation. My search shows that this kind of error message is already certificate issue; However, I have deleted and recreated the certificate in both ACS and the client with the same result. I have deleted and re-install the certchain as well.

In the output below, it says that the user is authenticate and it puts the user in the right group with the right username, but the user never really authenticate. Maybe for the first few seconds when I initiate the connection.
Before I forget, the suppliant is using WIN XP and 802.1x is enable. I even uncheck not verify the server and the ACS under External User Databases, I did  check ENABLE EAP-TLS machine authentication.

Any ideas on this guys?? In my end, i've been reading some docs... Things started to make sens to me, but I still cannot authenticate, still the same errors. One more thing that catch my  attention now is the time it takes to open a telnet session to cisco device which has the ACS for auth server.
My AD(Active Direct) and the ACS server are local same subnet(server subnet). Ping to the ACS from my desktop which is in different subnet is only take 1ms. To confirm that the issue is the ACS server, I decided to use another server in remote location, the telnet connection is way faster than the local ACS.
Let's brain storm together to figure out this guys.
    Thanks in advance,

  • EAP-TLS PEAP FAIL DURING SSH HANDSHAKE

    Hi Pros,
I am a newbie in the ACS 4.2 and EAP-TLS implementation, with that being said. I face an issue during a EAP-TLS implementation. My search shows that this kind of error message is already certificate issue; However, I have deleted and recreated the certificate in both ACS and the client with the same result. I have deleted and re-install the certchain as well.
When I check my log in the failed attemps, there is what I found:

I had this message recently. The first issue I found was that the username entered into the laptop was not correct (I had djohnson, need to have DJohnson)
The second issue I had was that my AP's were not authenticating to my WDS access point. I had turned off LEAP on my ACS server by accident causing the WDS authentication to fail. Once I turned this back on, my AP's authenticated to my WDS device and my users authenticated to the AP's.
Otherwise, the meaning of this is that the certs are not matching up correctly with the server either due to expiered certs, incorrect cert type on the users machine or incorrect information in the cert.
    Hope this helps.

  • Proxy Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks

    Hi,
When i am activating the client proxy class in ECC system after assigning it to the package,i am getting the below error. With local object($TMP) its working fine. I tried creating package using se80 as well as from sm30 using view V_TDEVC also and the package is created with no restrictions also .Kindly suggest what needs to be done to fix the issue.
Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks
    Message no. EU839
    Diagnosis
Dictionary objects can only be activated if the package check is swithch ed on - provided they do not contain any package check errors.
You will receive a list of the package check errors if you execute the package check within the appropriate dictionary tool. To do this, use the respective menu entry in the first menu of theen; corresponding dictionary tool.
    Procedure
Keep note of the setting for the package check (system-wide property) in your SAP System; this setting defines in which form the package concept is to be applied.
In particular, check whether the package in which the incorrect dictionary object is located has sufficient usage applications. Then, if necessary, create the missing usage applications.
As soon as the package check errors have been removed, you must again activate the dictionary object.
    Thnx,
    Goutham

  • Database Configuration Assistant Failed During 9i Installation

Database Configuration Assistant failed during my 9i Installation due to lack of disk space. I had 4MG allocated on /apps and the application used 3.1GB. I now do not have the required 1GB for the seed database. Actually, I want to create the seed database on /oradata, not on /apps. Does anyone know how I can create that seed database in /oradata? I don't believe I was prompted for where to create that seed database. Also, how can I run the Database Configuration Assistant again? Typing the command dbca told me to set the DISPLAY environment variable and re-run.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    I had java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError too.
This was fixed by having DISPLAY setting
    #export DISPLAY=host:0.0
Make sure your x window system is working Ok.
    I also used unset LANG
