i bought the package about oktober 2012, legally! i have been using cs5.5 because of this. can anybody help me? it is nearly impossible to contact adobe costumer service

    copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
    if you're using a mac:
    1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
    2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
    3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
    4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
    5. Start the installation again.

  • Activation prompt after updating CS6 Master Collection

    Hi,
    I have already activated a copy of the CS6 Master Collection. But I am getting activation prompt everytime I updating any application from the AAM for Adobe CS6 Master collection.
    Does anybody knows how to fix this problem?

    Hey Jack,
        I guess you are facing this issue mainly with the 64-bit version products like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop Extended 64-bit etc.
    Unfortuanately, the issue is yet to resolve. So the best solution currently is to save the serial number onto a Notepad/Text Edit and when it asks for a serial number, just copy and paste it and click next. Once it shows activated, it will run as a Full version and not a Trial mode.

  • Mac - Installer failed to initialize. (etc) HELP! I can't install the CS6 Master Collection Suite.

    When I begin the installation for the CS6 Master Collection, I get an effor saying, "We've encountered the following issues" and below it says, "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." I have already downloaded it, and it didn't help at all. I've tried repairing disk permissions and rebooting, but nothing yet. I have a Mac, and this is my first time installing ANY adobe products on it besides air and flash (of course).

  • CS6 Master Collection installer constant fail

    I purchased CS6 Master Collection and, to save download time, the reseller (iSoftware) burnt it to disk for me. All four folders are now in a single folder on my desktop. I've tried "setup.exe" multiple times (in part 1) and the installer always fails at the same point.
    Yesterday I replaced Vista Business 64-bit with Win7 64-bit - same problem every time. The PDApp log states:

    .102 [FATAL] DeploymentNativeApplet The start applet did not return the result xml. StartApplet returned <error>Failed to open session</error>

    In case the DVD was faulty and was corrupt or missing a file I have also downloaded a replacement copy of part 1 from iSoftware - same result.
    Computer: PC - HP xw6400 Workstation
    Processors: 2 x Intel Xenon CPU E5345 - quad core with 8GB RAM
    OS : Win 7 64-bit
    I've run out of ideas and places to research. Where do I go from here?  All help gratefully received.

    Many people use a font manager to organize a large collection of fonts, and sometimes these cause problems in ID. You might not realize that the font manager has installed a plugin in ID, but I think you would know if you added any other program extensions to help you work.
    Can you show us a new crash report since the 8.0.2 update?
    What happens if you start the Mac with the Shift key held down to prevent extensions from loading? What happens if you go to the System settings and create a new user, then restart the Mac and log in with the new user?

    I try to install Adobe CS6 Master Collection on my Macbook, but it gives the error: "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again." But it is the first time that I am able to install this, because previously my software on my Macbook was not updated enough. Now I have updated it until the required software.

  • Cannot install CS6 Master Collection on windows 7 - 64 bit

    As the title implies, I have several times tried installing the Master Collection - CS6 on my windows 7 - 64 bit machine at home and after a couple minutes, it simply erros out. I have even downloaded the trials for several of the applications and they too won't install. My download came directly from the Adobe Licensing site.

    Hey, did you sort it out in the end?
    I have been onto support for 2.5 hours yesterday but it didnt work what they told me to do. CS6 seems to install but the last screen says that only flash builder and acrobat installed and all the others had trouble installling.
    Im gonna try them again today. My error message is below....

  • CS6 Master Collection on Macbook running Windows 8.1 in Parallels

    Hi
    I have a licensed Windows version of Adobe CS6 Master Collection which runs happily on my Windows 7 PC. I have recently purchased a Macbook Pro Retina (latest model, 16GB RAM, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, OS X 10.9.2), and have installed the Windows 8.1 OS as a Parallels 9 virtual machine.
    The CS6 Master Collection installed OK, applied all software updates OK, completed online activation OK, all programmes launch OK.
    BUT... when I run any of the CS6 applications, I get prompted to sign in to Adobe to register the product. When I enter the correct Adobe ID and password, I am advised that the ID and password do not match, and that my software will no longer work after seven days (now down to five days).
    I know that the ID and password are correct, as I can log in to my Adobe account through a web browser using the same credentials.
    The CS6 software IS registered already. I registered it immediately after first purchasing it on 18-May-2012.
    I had a LONG online chat session with Adobe Support about this issue. They confirmed all of the above, but eventually said that they won't support installation of Master Suite CS6 on a virtual PC, and suggested I try here on the Adobe Communities Forum. So here I am.
    Has anyone else encountered this problem with registering CS6 s/w under Parallels 9? Any solutions or suggestions?

    Hi Bob. Yes, the serial number was entered and accepted, in the activation process during installation. It's only when I open any of the CS6 programmes that I get advised to register the product, and am prompted for my Adobe ID and password.
    I even tried changing my Adobe password. The new password works fine to log in through a web browser - but won't log me in through the in-app dialogue. I'm tearing my hair out trying to work out how to get around this before my seven day limit expires.
