Activation of T.Code - MMSC

We hv IS Retail implemented with ECC 6 Version.In our implementation, T.Code MMSC which lists multiple Storage Locations for a site is not activated.
We have now rolled out a new Company.For its business operations this new Company now requires operations from multiple
S.Locations.Hence, activation of the T.Code MMSC is now required.
I want guidance on how to go about activating T.Code MMSC.

what do you mean by "needs to be activated" ?
MMSC is there for years and does not need to be activated. There is no activation for transaction codes.
If the transaction code is not blocked in general then it might be restricted via authorizations, e.g. not entered in the role (transaction PFCG) of the users.
What happens if the user executes MMSC?
does he get a message that he has no authority. or any other message?

PROBLEM IN T-CODE- MMSC

For a particular material & plant for using T-code- mmsc the error message " plant does not have a main. status DL".MESSAGE NO-M3260. Actually we want to create A RESERVATION of movement type-411. at that time system gives a message that "no storage location data for the materaial in plantno * storage location*.so we want to use T-code- mmsc.pl. solve it.

"plant does not have a main. status DL " -- it means that for your material you have not maintained the MRP view ( main status D) and Storage (L) .SO extend the material and Select view MRP and General Plant Data / Storage 1 throug tcode MM01 .
It will solve your problem.

Adobe DRM Activator error (server code 24)

I updated to the most recent version of digital editions, but uninstalled it due to the fact that it does not support Palm.
I reinstalled the old version of Adobe Reader 7.0. All of my ebooks show up, but when I try to transfer my ebooks to my Palm I receive an error message stating:
Your Adobe software cannot be activated.
A bad session ID was used in the header.
Eden Info: (0x18) A bad session ID was used in the header.
Soap Info: Client: A A bad session ID was used in the header.
Adobe DRM Activator error (server code 24).
Fault location: 12
Contact customer support.
The knowledge base states that Adobe is aware of this issue and I have to contact support.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times but I had the same error message.
I have open two open web cases (#0180655783 on 1/8/09 and #0201592044 on 12/22/09). They both state: "open pending response from Adobe", but I can't get a response (although my case do note that they have been updated???).
When I contacted Adobe via phone they informed me that I could only get assistance by opening a web case. I was assured that I would get a response within 24 Hours! What a bunch of crap!
I really have to have access to my ebooks. I have quite a lot of money invested in books that I cannot access. Some of them I need
for school.

4005 can mean a few things, Some common can be The wrong BIOS time, or a a bad Hard drive. look at those two first.

Cannot Active Job (Return Code 4)

Hi All,
I am trying to start a process chain to create a DSO. Anytime I try and start the process chain, I get the following error:
Cannot Active Job (Return Code 4)
Return Code 4 seems to be tied to JOB_CLOSED_FAILED but I am not sure how to resolve this. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Process chains are used to load data to DSO/Cube/info objects.
Can you check your process chain start variant job was in release state? or schedule state?
if its in schedule then make it release or start immediate.
Go to start variant of your chain-->double click on it-->select change selection-->start immediate and see.

dear all,
a few years ago I installed and configured Adobe Digital Editions. I bought some ebooks as well. Meanwhile I have switched my computer. And today I discovered my ebooks. I clicked on them and the system tells me that I have to install ADE and to activate the computer. So I successfully downloaded ADE installed it and activeated it.
ADE immediately shows me all the books I bought years ago. Then I clicked on the books I wanted to read. A window popped up which told me that the book is no more available - due to a changed path. I found no possibility to change an existing ADE configuration.
I opened ADE and added a book I bought by opening the option to add a file and openend the ebook on its new location. The ebook was loaded, authorized and I could read it. Clever - I thought. Thats the way to clean up my library. First lets delete all the ebooks in the library with the broken location. Afterwards lets add it via the option to add ebooks. Thats what I did. I deleted all the ebooks first. Afterwards I wanted to add all the books like I already did it with the first one. But - I no more could do that!
This is what I get:
Your Adobe software could not be activated. HTTP error on Adobe DRM Activator request. Adobe DRM Activator error (client code 31); HTTP code 404. Fault location: 15
Does this mean that ADE server does no more authorize my bought ebooks after I had deleted the broken-link-ones from my library?
I hope not ! - This would be awfull - all my books would be gone !!
I hope someone could follow my problem description and hope that there is a simple solution for that.

That sometimes happens if you get time zone errors. n Check the time zone and time settings on your computer and on any eReader device (if you have one).

on the initial download of .acsm file from Library?
on opening .acsm file in ADE and trying to download .epub file

How to findout Which are the User Exist had been activated for T.Code

If you mean how to see a user list with the T-Code they are using.
Then you can just use T-Code SM04.
It will give all the information about those user.
Or If you mean User Exists.

Material Ledger activation at Company Code Level

Hi All,
I have a requirement where Material Ledger need to be activated at Company level and not at single Plant Level. We are about to implement ML and would like to have periodic unit price calculated at company code level (e.g. 1 material, 4 plants, 1 company = 1 periodic unit price).
I went through the customization , it only refers to Plant level (Valuation area level)
Could anybody throw light on this.

What is the valuation level?
If the valuation is at plant level you can maintain different views at different plants of these company codes.
If only name is different i think you would do better with the same material code, and if you still want to differentiate please create two different materials

Itunes gift card also not activated properly here code 5301

Bought itunes gift cards on black friday...went to redeem them, got code 5301, not activated properly on all the cards. But have all the activation receipts. Waited 24 hours just like the store and receipt said. Till this day still not activated. E-mailed itunes support twice. Responses taking forever to get. Even gave them scans of cards and receipts. Anyone else having or had any luck with this?
