Hi Guys
I am doing the SOAP to FILE Scenario using BPM when I activate my Integration Processes (Soap_to_file_BPM ) i get the below error, on my IM the source is "yonela_ob_mi" and the target is "yonela_ob_mi_AS" which is my abstract.Then on the Transformation step my container is Abstract Interface. This "yonela_ob_mi" interface I am using on my message mapping
So what am I doing wrong

Thanks for ur assistance its working the error is gone, I only needed to make both my Interfaces to be Abstract as u suggested.
Only one error now when testing on sxmb_nomi I get the bellow error: What I want to do is to split flat file and send it to my ftp server (InBound) folder.

Hi Andrew,
You have not mapped some of the mandatory parameters in your mapping and tried to activate it. so it was giving you that error. So map all the mandatory parameters ( all the fields with Red bulb), save and then activate.
This will solve your problem. kindly assign points if this solves your problem.

Check the change list

Hi experts,
I need to change something in a smart form, but I'm afraid someone change sth in dev, and don't transport to QA/prod.
I know I can download forms/style from prod,and upload to dev. I just want to check the change list. Who can tell how to do this?

In the Production, you go to Utilities -> Download smartform
Then in your Dev, you create a smartform, upload the form you've download,
Then compare with the original form in Dev

ABAP Mapping - Message shown in Standard Change List Process Log

I am working with ABAP Mapping program. I had created ABAP class using ABAP workbench. Before this, in exchangeProfile..data was provided for com.sap.aii.repository.mapping.additionaltypes ==>> as " R3_ABAP|Abap-class;R3_XSLT|XSL (ABAP Engine) " and 'Saved'.
In Interface Mapping, after providing the Class Name under 'Mapping Program' and activated. After activation (Standard Change List), it is showing the following messages under 'Processing Log'.
--> Standard Change List - Process Log message
Activation of the change list canceled Check result for Interface Mapping IM_ABAP_MAPPING | http://ABAP_Mapping_SREE: Type R3_ABAP of
program ZSREETEST is invalid because it is not registered in the exchange profile . Check the values for the exchange profile parameter

Can some one please guide me in resolving the ABAP mapping issue.

The log says that there is ABAP mapping included in your exchange profile. Do the things what michal have told and also check your mapping program whether working fine or not in SXI_MAPPING transaction.

Automatic Activation of change list

HI All,
I have two questions regarding Change list.
1) User "1" has imported one TPZ file, does user "2" have the rights to activate it in the Change list.
2) Is there any way to achive automatic activation as soon as you import a TPZ file in IR or ID with out manual activation.

I think you can do it this way...
goto the changelist and choose the change list of USer1 and then try to activate it.
I have never tried this.but you can try.

Error during activation of change list

I want to activate my changes in the change list of the intergration configuration. After activation I receive the error message:

Version of the object using Transport Wizard and Change Lists

Hello experts,
When using the Transport Wizard, after selecting --> "Individual Objects" --> "Add Objects from Change Lists", do you know if the version of the object selected
- is the last one (aka, the version right after the last activation of the object)
- or the version of the object at the time it was added to the Change List?

Go to T-code SE10, go to the transport request you created. See all objects that are attached to your request. Now you would need to revert all the objects attached to its previous version(as you recieved before changes).
Go to each object, by double clicking on it, go to utilities - version management and see the relevant version just prior to your change. Uncheck the checkbox which is checked on current version and check the previous version checkbox and find button on toolbar which says retrieve version, click on it and once that version is retrieved go to change mode on that object and generate or activate the same.

Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import

Hi All
I am facing a strange problem.
We have applied SP16 patch on our XI box and imported all the scenario objects and design objects which were exported as .tpz file .
After importing scenario object,all objects moved to a new node 'XI 3.0 Import' in change list and when I tried to activate this change list it gave me an error
<b>"Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import"</b>
even if I try to move it Standard change list, it gives me same error.
Any solution?

Hope you are activiating the complete change list. You get this error because you trying to activate a part of the change list.

How to Revert back the changes from the new version to old version

Hi, I need to revert back the changes in one of the Objects in Intergration Directory. Which means, I need to de-activate the existing version, and have the old version activated again. Can you help me on the steps on doing this? Thank you.

If you have just saved urt object in IR / ID and not activated it, then u can simply go to the change list tab and right click on ur object and do " Reject changes".
if u have already activated the same, then u wud b required to open the object in IR/ ID.
Click on the history option and double click and open the same object version that u want and activate it.

In CMS, there is no Transportable change list in ID

Hi All,
I am using CMS. I want to transport Configuration Objects. But when I am going to Change list tab page in ID, I am able to see only open and close Change list. There is no option called Transportable Change List.
I have followed HELP.SAP.COM which tells,
"You have created an XI track in the Landscape Configurator and entered the addresses of the development, consolidation, and productive directory. There are no software component versions in the Integration Directory. Therefore, for directory transports using the CMS, you specify the software component version SAP-INTDIR 3.0 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 3.0). This refers to all configuration objects of the Integration Directory.
Once you have made this setting, you can create transport lists for the CMS. The status of the change lists no longer changes to Closed immediately after their release, but first changes to Transportable."
But still the status of the change list changes to closed and there is no tab called transportable change list.
However I am able to transport IR objects correctly and there I am able to see Transportable change list too.
Is there any specific configuration for this??

for ID, the XI track which you have created, you should specify SAP-INTDIR 3.0 (EXCHANGE DIRECTORY 3.0) swcv.............now you create a new config scenario in ID.............Now you should see transportable change list in ID....

Clearing closed change lists in Integration Directory

Hello,
Not really an important question, but one that I would to know the answer to nonetheless. How can I clear the change lists listed under my closed changed lists? I've been playing around in the XI system and have a bunch of them and it would be nice to be able to 'purge' them somehow.

Are you sure you are in seeing your 'Standard Change List'?What else option you can see?
If you are viewing some other users Change List, then there will only be two options :- Open and Transfer. Click transfer and the change list will be added to your Componenet, then activate it.

CTS - Don't Always Want Transportable Change Lists

Is there a way to turn off automatic creation of the Transportable Change Lists? At times, especially during the trial and error of development in the IB-Repository, I do not like having a bunch of transportable change lists created. I end up deleting them manually since I always do initial transports of the entire SWCV after I am done.
In the past I have turned off the change lists by SWCV when using CMS for transports (config exists in Administration section of Integration Builder). Is there something like this for CTS?

This change did not resolve my issue (and we bounced the system to make sure it took effect).
If anyone knows of anything else, please chime in.
When I make a change in IB-Repository, then go to the "Change Lists" tab and activate the change, a "Transportable" change list automatically generates. I would like that turned off and I will only make transports when I am ready.
