Activation problem on Vision Update from 7.1 to 8.0

Having reinstalled Labview and Vision software, the activation code I had does not work. The problem is around the fact that
Vision 8 gives an update for NiMaq 1394 for IEEE 1394 to version 2.0.2, I am unable to present an appropriate activation code.

    I have been
looking into the problem you are having and there appears to be a lot of things
suggesting that there is a great dependency on the previous versions of
software you have installed. Did you have a version of NIMAQ 1394 for IEEE 1394
installed before you upgraded Vision? If so which version was this?
 I have been looking at this KB on the issues with NIMAQ for
IEEE 1394 installation. Take a look at it and see what versions you have and if
any of it applies to you.
 Let me know how you get on.

    so far it looks like a strict hardware problem, not related to updates. however, some manufacturers try to "cheat" with bios updates - they make fan to run at higher speed lowering the mainboard temp. This does not solve the problem per se, it just makes laptop survive beyond warranty expiration date, so you, dear customer, will have to foot the bill.

    Performed os update from 4.3 to 4.5 through "check for Updates" on blackberry's site.  checked box to have information backed up while updating and then restored after.  during update there was an error and the restore did not take, but phone was wiped.  when I reinstalled update it did not give me the option to restore.  I have .cod files saved on computer from the update but I need to restore my contacts, calendar etc.  is there any way to do this?

    Yup...the backup process would have created an IPD file. Search your hard drive for a file with extension of IPD (*.IPD). Inspect the results...the file created at the time you were doing this is the file you need to use a restore source.
    If you are using the RIM software through 5.0.1, see this KB.

  • Data upload problem in delta update from 1st ODS to 2nd ODS

    Dear Friends,
    I am loading data from one ODS to another. The update mode was full upload. Sometime back an error occurred in activation of the first ODS. The error was: Full updates already available in ODS ,Cannot update init./delta. So currently daily records are pulled but not added i.e. transferred recs = 4000 but added recs = 0.
    When I looked for a solution in SDN I found that using program RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG for 2nd ODS will reset all full uploads to Repair Full Request which I have already done for 2nd ODS. Then initialize once and pull delta.
    But problem is that I cannot set update mode to delta as I am pulling some 80,000 records in 2nd ODS from 1st ODS with around 14 lacs records daily based on some data-selection filters in infopkg. But do not see any parameters for data-selction in delta mode.
    Please suggest.

    Dear Sirs,
    Due to this error in activation in 2nd ODS daily data upload is failing in 1st ODS.
    To correct this I converted all full upload requests in 2nd ODS to Repair full requests.
    But now when I scheduled the infopkg today with full upload again data was transferred but not added.
    I know I cannot have init./ delta so what possibly can now be done in this scenario. Please help.

    We want to show several websites in our keynote presentation. In the keynote description we found, that websites will be updated when the program opened or when the presentation started.
    Sometimes (infrequently or when the presentation is started the next day) our websites are updated automatically, but sometimes it doesn't work.

    From what I can gather with other comments I've read over the months, it would seem that the web page update is flaky at best. Wish I had a better answer, maybe someone else has heard of a fix.

    I have inserted a new field(xxxx) into custom table and activated it..
    But ,when i tried to enter values for this new field in se16,this  field doesnt exist there.But in se11 i was able to view..
    So i deleted that field from tht table and inserted again,,
    Now iam geting message that
    xxxx field was deleted
    Alter table is not possible..
    Diagnosis shows that
    The structure of the table changed at field level. This change requires a conversion of the table. This situation can occur for example if the data type or field length of the domain upon which the field is based was changed. A conversion is also generally necessary if the key of the table changed.
    Procedure
    Convert the table using the Database Utility (SE14).
    Can you people let me know how i can cahge the table ..

    Hi Parnith,
    Suppose you have entered a new field (or deleted a field) in your table in SE11(and table already contains data).
    Now, your next step should be activating that table first.
    For that :
    1. Just click on save.
    2. Goto Utilities -> Database Utility.
        Click on that.
    3. Click on Activate and Adjust database.
    Now you will see your field added to your table.
    Now you can simply Goto contents of the table and modify the records and fill the newly added field for each record.

  • Problem with Notification update from backend (local notif)

    Hi all
    I created a Local notification and uploaded the same to the server. I found the same notification in the backend and made some changes to it and then tried to sync the data to the MAM application but I got the following error message
    “Exception while proccessing method SMARTSYNC : java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while Smart Sync inbound processing: java.lang.IllegalStateException: State NEW_INSYNC does not allow this transition: srvMod”

    Hi Gopi,
    Looks like a problem in the middleware. Can you check in merep_mon what the server is sending to the client for that particular notification?
    It should ideally be a success message along with a Replace.
    But I fear that it may be sending a modify message. Can you confirm this?
    Also the latest SP is SP18 do you have any plans to upgrade?

  • Performance problems after Update from 7.6.00.37 to 7.6.03.15

    Hi,
    after the Update from 7.6.00.37 to 7.6.03.15 in our live system we noticed a lot of performance problems. We have tested the new version before on our test system, but there don't noticed effects like this.
    We have 2 identical systems (Opteron 64 bit, openSuse 10.2) with log shipping between them. We updated first the standby system, switched from online to standby (with copy of cold log) and started the new server as online system. After that we run a complete backup (runtime: 1 hour) for starting a new backup history and for activating autolog. Then
    With the update we changed USE_OPEN_DIRECT to YES, but the performance of the system was very slow afterwards. After the backup it remains at a high load average (> 10, previous system had about 2-4), with nearly 100% of CPU usage for the db kernel process.
    Next day we switched USE_OPEN_DIRECT back to NO. The system first runs better, but periodically rises up to a load average of 6 and slow down the performance of various applications (somebody says about 10 times slower). Here we also noticed a high usage (now 200-300%) of the db kernel process.
    Our questions are:
    1. Has something basically changed from 7.6.00.37 to 7.6.03.15, so that our various applications (JDBC, ODBC and Perl/SQLDBC partially on old linux systems with drivers from 7.5.00.23) don't reach same performance as before?
    2. Are there any other (new) parameters, which can help? Maybe reducing MAXCPU from 4 to 3 for reserving capacities for the system (there is only one maxdb instance running)?
    3. Is the a possibility to switch back to 7.6.00.37 (only for worst case)?
    I have made some first steps with x_cons, but don't see any anomalies on the first look.

    Well of course there are bugs that have been found inbetween the release of both versions, but I am not aware of something like the performance killer.

    Hmm... the question here is still, if the execution plans are good enough to meet your expectations.
    E.g. for tables that you access via the primary key it actually doesn't matter how many rows a table has (not for MaxDB at least).

    Ok - so this is next to no testing at all when it comes to performance.

    Hello everyone.I have noticed some battery problems after updating from Mavericks to Yosemite like no charging at all (but the orange led was on )and not able to fully charged.I solve them with SMC reset and PRAM reset.Furthermore, battery discharges faster than before and its really annoying.Now I have notice that the upper right corner of my mac is getting hot.I'll appreciate any help

    Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
    Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
    Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
                because it is three times faster than wireless.
    5. Reinstall Yosemite from Scratch:
    Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.

    What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
    For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are.     Do you have a bootable clone from prior to the update? If so, roll back with that.
    Are your apps that won't open PPC and do they need Rosetta? Do you need to activate Rosetta?
    Have you considered reinstalling 10.6 from your install disc and then coming forward with the 10.6.8 Combo Updater, then doing software update and not including whatever it was you installed that caused this propblem?
    By the way - what update was it that caused this problem?
