Activation requested for already activated software
I have CS6 with all the latest updates installed on a Window 8 partition. I also have Vista and XP on seperate drives with CS4 and CS3 installed respectively. I need the legacy software because I have a large film project that was completed in CS4 which uses the Cineform codec that is not needed in CS6 and I prefer not to have it installed there. I also have an old audio plug-in that I use a lot that only works in XP. This triple boot system normally works perfectly. However today I tried to open an old Audition 3 session which won't open in CS6. Booted from the XP partition Audition 3 requested me to activate it again. The same thing happened when I tried the Vista boot. Both versions of Audition had been activated and were both working correctly before CS6 was installed. Activation fails from both with an error 93:-9.
Any suggestions?

Stop update requests in creative cloud for already uninstalled software?
Hi,
I've got the Creative Cloud App on my Mac and it's always asking me to install all the CS6-versions I'm not using anymore. I already uninstalled them all and only use the CC-versions... it's annoying! You will need to run the cleaner tool and reinstall your CC.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

Activation software for licensing
My company is developing a plug-in for Illustrator CC. We are trying to find a product activation software for the licensing. Any suggestions out there of companies that work well with Adobe products?
Please run Slmgr.vbs /dlv and look if you see a KMS server configured.
Check this guide for KMS issues:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee939272.aspx
Yes you can buy a Win8 Pro license at the MS store and enter the key. This doesn't impact your tools.

"CREATE_ENQUEUE_FAILED" Import for request NGDK900094 already running.
Hi guys,
While i was trying to import some requests into my quality system, i chose the requests five each and continued with the import. on refreshing the truck sign for these requests do not turn to yellow. Now i want to import all my requests in sequence and when i get to the running requests it gives the error: CREATE_ENQUEUE_FAILED "Import for request NGDK900094 already running". When i refresh the requests wont turn yellow and i need to import again.
Any ideas on how i can resolve this?.
Basisman.
Edited by: Basisman on Mar 23, 2010 10:22 AMHi,
Check at OS level if tp and R3trans processes are still active and running ? I guess they are running.
KIll these active processes and make sure no old tp and R3trans remains active. Then click refresh again and wait for the truck to terminate. once they terminate retry the import.
By chance if the running status doesnot terminated, go to import monitor, there you can see the running imports. right click on the running imports one by one and then delete status.
In both the cases make sure no tp and R3trans should remain active from old processes.
Best Regards

Free voice activation software
Does anyone know of any free voice activation software for iMac 2007 model?
Note, not that it makes a difference for this question, no 2007 iMac is PPC. They are all Intel in 2007. 2006 was when the PPC to Intel shift happened.

I am currently exploring the potential of allowing a user to access SAP and process various transactions through Voice Activated Software.
Has anyone had any experience of this or know of any solutions that are proven to integrate with SAP?Does MacListen take over general control of the computer? I mean does it do commands such as "Switch to Firefox" and will it run application-specific applescripts?
How does MacListen compare with say Dragon Naturally Speaking, traditionally best in the field?
Is McListen any more reliable than the speech recognition software bundled with apple? Can it be trained so that when, for the tenth time I say "switch to firefox" and for the tenth time it switches to x-code, I can press a button saying "no you got it wrong", and when at last it gets it rigfht I can reward it by pressing an equivalent button? -

Is there a way for the CC desktop app to recognize already installed software?
Is there a way for the CC desktop app to recognize already installed software? Initially the CC app had all my installed software listed but since one of the patches it no longer knows what I have installed. I can still use everything but I'm worried I will encounter issues if I am unable to change this situation. I have already looked through multiple discussions looking for an answer so if I have missed the solution my bad.
Cheers
KellyYou would have to run teh Cleaner tool and reinstal lfrom scratch. Something botched your installer database.

Skipping request for user policy assignments due to agent configuration for authority
Hello all,
Symptoms:
The Configuration Manager only shows the following actions:
Application Deployment Evaluation Cycle
Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle
Software Updates Deployment Evaluation Cycle
User Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle
In Software Center there are no applications visible. Also the default 'IT Organization' is shown instead of the 'real' name.
The Confugration Manager:
shows in the tab 'General' the correct Management point. Connection type is 'currently intranet' (ok)
shows in the tab 'Site' the correct site code.
shows in the tab 'Components' all components as either 'installed' or 'enabled'. Only CCM Notification Agent shows 'Disabled'.
In SCCM 2012 under 'Client Settings' -> 'Default Settings' -> 'Client Policy' the setting 'Enable User policy on clients' has been enabled.
Done so far (without success):
Re-installed the MP
Run a query on the SCCM Database to check if there are any corrupt records. There are not.
Installed version 5.00.7958.1000
CCM Framework: 5.00.7958.1203
The computer is installed with a task sequence. There is a reboot after 'Setup Windows and ConfigMgr (CM2012 R2 CU1)'.
Installation command of the SCCM Client (during OSD deployment):
SMSCACHEFLAGS=PERCENTDISKSPACE SMSCACHESIZE=10 SMSSLP=demo-sccm.demoforest.local SMSMP=demo-sccm.demoforest.local PATCH="%_SMSTSMDataPath%\OSD\TDS00020\KB2938441\configmgr2012ac-r2-kb2938441-i386.msp"

It is about the PSComputerName: that is the name of the machine on which the capture was made. So I suppose the problem is already in the image. Is my statement correct or is it not relevant?

How to create a New Tranport Request for changed Extract structure
How to create a New Tranport Request for changed Extract structure ?
Hi Experts,
I have a FI AP Generic Datasource containing extract structure with appended fields.
It has already been activated and transported to Testing System.
Now, I am to create a new transport request for this DataSource and Extract structure.
I do not want to delete and recreate the Generic Datasource.
I am trying to look at the options in the extract structure top menu from where I can create a new Tranport Request.
Please let me know the steps
URGENTHi Dev,
Once you send the transport request for any data source from Dev to Testing you wont find that again in your Dev (I mean the TR). So, when you change anything for this data source or view now in Dev and try to save it, it will ask for a new transport request and here you can mention a new one starting from View then activate it and go to RSO2 regenerate it and use the same transport request for this too. When you transport this TR to Testing Environment the data source will automatically get changed.
Hope it helps... -
NPS: Event 6274 - Network Policy Server discarded the request for a user
Intermittently I will get desktop (wired) and laptop (wireless) computers experiencing issues with NPS (they drop off the network).
Some computers are affected more than others, although they are identical hardware and based on a standard image.
In the event log of the NPS servers I can see the following messages:

Our environment doesn't have NPS accounting configured so that was easy to rule out.
The mid-day drop outs have stopped after I added "set protocols dot1x authenticator no-mac-table-binding" to our Juniper switches (which prevents mac address aging from clearing the active dot1x client session).
I believe the above error message occurs because the RADIUS session ID is rejected / ignored because of some quirks in the RADIUS standard. At the start of a dot1x authentication request a RADIUS session ID is created. For whatever reason the
RADIUS/NAP server stops responding and the Juniper switch fails over to the backup RADIUS/NAP server configured. The session ID is kept (per RADIUS standard) but the backup RADIUS/NAP server doesn't know about the session, so this event: "Network
Policy Server discarded the request for a user." occurs.
It would be nice to see a clearer error message "Invalid RADIUS session" or similar.
There is a Microsoft guide on how to set up RADIUS/NAP servers in a highly available configuration - something to do with RADIUS proxy servers.
It would be even nicer to see some kind of RADIUS session synchronisation between NAP servers... if it doesn't already exist?
I am having the same exact issue you posted on here except I have Extreme Network switches. Some of my computers, various hardware, will randomly not authenticate during re-authentication. The switch says that it failed to contact the NPS server so then it
switches to my backup server. The client has a random time on how long it waits to authenticate so sometimes I end up having the disable/re-enable the port they are connected to so that the session is started again. I see that you basically removed the option
to force clients to re-authenticate Any downfall disabling that?. Any idea why the NPS server is no longer responding? Are you using Windows Server 2012?
