Activation Requests are in Queue

Hi Experts,
        I had checked-in an activity and it has been pushed for activation. But in the CBS, the activation request is queued for a day. So I again created an activity to activate both of these.
but they were not activated even the NWDI Server has been restarted. When I go to TCS/Deployer, I got upto now no information about the build request is available message.
Still these activities are in Queue. can anybody help me out to fix this issue?

I believe this thread is closed, but I would like to share my solution for the benefit of others.
When I faced the same problem, I noticed that in Visual Admin the CBS service was stopped. I simply started it (Right Click > Start) and the queues got cleared.

    To temporarily fix the issue the jobs have been placed on "no execute" and the support team is identifing the chargebacks and RTV created during the week, manually running the RSNAST00 program in groups of 500 - 800 documents, ensuring all doucments for a vendor a sent in the same spool request.

    Nobody know the answer to this one? Stephen@Azzu:Here's a good one...I'm using Crysal Reports XI (fully service packed) and the reports I have created are being used in a VB.Net application. I have no problems whatsoever in printing the reports, everything is fine. However, when the report is sent to the printer, the printer queue displays 'document' as the, err, document name. I'd like it to say something more relevant, such as the document number the user selected.So I've tried setting the ReportDocument.Name but wait, it's read only!? How about the summary info? No change. Filename? No change either. I've browsed the internet, searched the knowledge base and found nothing. So my question is this...How do I get the printer queue to display an appropriate name for my document?Stephen

    Can u please check that once u release the request from DEV it should be appear in QA COFILE and DATAFILE or not...u have to physically check it .....
    and if yes then  u can also import that file through ADDTOBUFFER and IMPORT command at command prompt level.

  • Record disappears if two requests are activated together

    Ods with key K is updared from ds1 and ds2 with addition mode. DS1 doesnt bring any records with key K. DS2 brings record with key K.
    The record disapear if two requests are activated together.
    The record is visible if requestes are activated separately.
    Is it a normal behavior of SAP BI?

    Hi,
    Please go to SE01, select your request(s) and on the next screen click on the request. In the opened screen navigate to the properties tab and see what target system you have defined for the transport. If there is no definition, transport is considered as local and will not be released to cofile/data folders (but stays in E070). You have to define the correct target system as it's defined in TMS to make you request tranportable

  • "Active Requests"

    Hello,
    Under "Response and Load Metrics" for our Infra HTTP_SERVER (Apache on RHEL3) the total number of "Active Requests" continues to grow and is currently about 46,000. On our mid-tier this number is usually around 10.
    Does anyone know what might cause this? Could a incorrectly configured firewall cause this to happen (we have a firewall between our mid and infra tier? Is this an issue that I should be converned with? I'm only asking because we are trying to track down why our database is using a ton of ram (nearly 2GB) under a pretty low load (currently less than 2k logins/day).

    Sure, here are the settings I use in server.xml
    When I use theese:
    <application-server ... taskmanager-granularity="1000" ... />
    <global-thread-pool min="10" max="10" queue="20" keepAlive="-1" />
    it worked just fine - if I send to many clicks (to many users) they started to receive error 505 but the server didnt die (became unrecoverable). I let the test run fo some hour and error rate was acceptable so I will experiment further with production machine where are more CPUs.
    If I reduce or increase taskmanager granularity, performance decrease. If I increase queue size on lets say 200 - its much worser, why? Any experience or magic formula for this numbers ?
    If anybody has some hints if 64bit Java can be beneficial for performance (windows platform) or what settings are appropriate on multi-processor server...

    Hi ,
    You can Delete the activated request by using the selective deletion.Go to the Manage Tab of the DSO (By right clicking on it in RSA1). There make the status of this request as RED. Select the request and click on the DELETE icon. This will automatically delete the data loaded thru that request.One thing to note here is that all the requests' which are loaded after that request will get deleted.
    Also with  T code SE11 and give the Table u201CRSODSACTREQ (Request ID and DSO activation ID).>Display>Content Enter the values>Cube /DSO: DSO name>Request number : REQU_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX -->Then click on Execute Select the request click on Change button >go for the field>DSO Operation select as u201CDu201D then Save it (D = Delete)

    You can export list of all transport requests from your DEV system in one shot, from SE09-> Display (provide your required selection criteria) -> Goto -> "Display as List"
    You can export these all Transport Requests as Spreadsheet. Then Filter out all your required 400 to 500 Transport Requests.
    Now,use another excel sheet to create a file with the list of required transport request Nos only, then concatenate all of them to generate the required TP commands as mentioned below.
    The syntax will become as follows:

    Make sure that object lists of all the Trans. Requests are checked and confirmed for the transport to avoid data incosistency in target system. (e.g. Number Range Object)

    I've tried from two different computers to access downloaded ebooks through Digital Editions (after having authorized the computers through Adobe) and always get this message:

    I've tinkered with firewall, Web accelerator and other settings, to no avail and haven't found any posts speaking to similar problems. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

  • KMS issue – KMS not receiving Activation Requests from Servers

    Hi,
    I've got a very strange problem with KMS.  I have recently inherited a SharePoint DMZ environment built using
    Best Practices for Securing Active Directory and
    CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2.  All the servers were built using MAK keys, which worked well enough until IT Security locked down firewall access.  Now all the server are going non-genuine. My solution was to setup a KMS activation and
    convert all the servers over. Seemed simple enough, even tested it in my Dev Lab no issues once the Windows Firewall was configured to allow KMS (TCP-in). So I set it up started converting servers to KMS, (slmgr /ipk). The client all Windows 2008 R2 Servers
    started sending activation requests to the KMS machine, (Event ID: 12288).  Here’s where the problems start, according to the firewall logs on the KMS Server it allows the request in but no Event ID: 12289’s are registered and the client display’s the
    following: “Error: 0xC004F074 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) in unavailable”.
    Verified the KMS is active and listening on port 1688. Ran it again with Wire Shark installed and it showed the DCERPC protocol attempting to connect and getting “status: nca_s_fault_access_denied”. Began investigating RPC issues, found two RPC related GPO
    entries in our Default Domain Policy and reference in the CIS benchmark referenced above.
    Computer Configuration \ <policies> \ Administrative Templates \ System \ Remote Procedure Call
    Restrictions for unauthenticated RPC clients
     RPC endpoint mapper client authentication
    Both are “Enabled” and the first is set with the following option:
     "Authenticated without Exceptions".
    So I proceeded to set these up in my Lab and… BOOM, killed my Lab environment. See

    After I rebuilt my Lab, I determined the culprit was GPO entry #1 -

    Question time:
    Does anyone know how to change this option safely and to not cause the problems I’ve had?
    Does anyone have any alternate methods or ideas for setting up KMS in an environment such as mine?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    So we determined last this past Friday that I was mistaken, the GPO's in question were not in our Default Domain Policy as a thought...My apologize. They were however in our DMZ Base Server GPO, I was able to drop our KMS Server into a new
    sub-OU (called KMS Activations) and then provide a GPO override in that OU for the following line:
    Computer Configuration \ <policies> \ Administrative Templates \ System \ Remote Procedure Call\Restrictions for unauthenticated RPC clients
    and set it to: "Authenticated".
    Once we did this plus STOP and Start SPP Service, we ran Slmgr / ato  on 5 servers to hit the threshold, the rest of the server activated on their own over the weekend.
    Confirmed this morning, once we flipped the remaining servers over from MAK to KMS they activated on their own. Modifying our build template to have the KMS key now not the MAK.
    Still not sure what grants KMS the exception to the GPO, assuming the Firewall?
    The original was "Authenticated without Exceptions" verses the Current "Authenticated" so the only real difference is that exceptions are aloud if authorized
    by something.
    I appreciate the responses.
      

  • Problem while deleting activation request

    HI all,
    we are getting short dumps with UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION and CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE when trying to delete ODS activation requests, included in Business Content process chains. These requests went bad because the authorization for user ALEREMOTE was not set properly.
    After we set this, we re-ran the process chains which loaded the ODS but all failed to activate them. Trying to delete any request causes a dump. Even selecting the "reconstruction" tab of the request causes a dump.
    Is there any way to "clean" or reset everything ?
    Of course, any effective suggestion will be appreciated and rewarded

    In your short dump description (ST22) or in the system logs (SM21), there should be listed the table where the issue comes from.
    When you found that table, try to adjust (via SE14) that table (first without deleting data, then if it doesn't work with the deleting option selected).
