Active Calls Dropped and SDL Link out of service

                   Hello,
I have a UCCE 9.0 and UCM 9.1
For 4 days in a row we are facing the following problem:
- Active agent calls are dropped
- Agents have to login again to CTIOS server
- I dumped the jgw process logs on both PGs: I found a "CallManager_Failure" error
- On UCM RTMT tool, I can see the following error at the same time of the issue: SDLLinkOutOfService
Note: The issue is happening daily at the same time
Anyone knows what could be the issue?

SDL links are used between CCM, CTI, and CMI services to share data regarding the current status of devices and to send calls to and from different nodes in the cluster. They form a full mesh between like and dislike services. I.E. CCM on node 1 will have an SDL link to CCM on node 2 and to CTI on node 1 and 2 and so on.
SDL links going out of service usually represent a network outage between the nodes or a service crash on one of the nodes. Any core files in RTMT?
If the alert isn’t continually re-firing, then the link is probably operational again.

    We keep seeing these RTMT alerts and then receive SDL Link out service or server node down. I have been working with TAC but they are not able to pin point if its a CUCM issue or network issues. I have the network team check the CPU usage during this time and nothing major happening same thing on the CUCM side.
     At Tue Oct 28 14:56:48 PDT 2014 on node  the following SyslogSeverityMatchFound events generated:

    Has anyone experienced this issue? We recently upgraded to 9.x.

    We are experiencing the exact same thing.  There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary or in the logs, but these errors randomly kick off as far as we can tell for no reason.
    I opened a TAC case and they related it to CPU load on our Publisher, I bumped it as recommended and the error cleared for a few days, but just came back today.
    Anyone have any insight?  As I said, doesn't seem to be service impacting, so is it just another 'Cisco Feature'?

  • Audio drops and comes back out of sync but dvd preview ok

    hi All,
    i put some photos and videos together in idvd project. The used one of their standard sound tracks to give the background music. The preview looked great so i burned the dvd but to my surprise when a particular video played around 8 min into the dvd the audio dropped and came about a min later with other photos getting it totally out of sync. I have tried removing few photos before that video comes to shift the video's location, there is a minor effect, it playes the clips audio in sync for slightly a sec or two longer but then drops and come back out of sync when it is showing still photos.

    We have heard nothing about any changes in Encore for CC. I would be very surprised if anything fundamental, like the preview engine, has changed. We really don't know what is still the old sonic authorcore, what may have changed but is still sonic, and what is Adobe created. I have always assumed the preview is sonic.
    Is the audio sync issue Bluray only, H.264 bluray only, or any particular audio formats? I don't recall getting the issue in Encore DVD playback.

  • Htc One Remix Calls Dropping and Messages failing to send

    I got this phone about a month ago, & everything worked except the calls. It would always hang up. In an hour phone call i'd say the call drops 5 or more times. Its frustrating . And recently my text messages arent sending. I have to turn my phone off & on to resend it. I also am not receiving pictures anymore. Can someone help?

  • When iPhone is on Cellular data and WiFi, i cannot make calls and phone goes out of service.

    So I have this iPhone 5S unlocked version from the US which I am using in India. When I am connected to my office wireless and also the cellular & 3G data are switched on, my phone goes out of service and I cannot make calls. I can also use internet.
    However this works great when I get onto my home WiFi along with cellular & 3G data switched on, I can make calls and also surf the net with the WiFi.
    Is anyone having similar issue? I am sure there is something with the office WiFi but what could it be to get my phone out of service.
    Any thoughts anybody ?

    Yes I shutdown WiFi and I can connect to 3G on Cellular. I can make calls.
    If I shutdown Cellular and connect WiFi. I can make calls.
    Its just that when both are ON, then no calls can be made.
    All combinations work good with Home WiFi.

  • My iPhone 4 doesn't connect to any wifi sources anymore (even though it used to) and regularly cuts out of service.

    My iPhone is from the US and I've had it for nearly two years. I'm with optus. I know that this is not allowed to be discussed but my phone was bought jailbroken. Neither my father nor I had any idea what this meant at the time and would not have bought it if we did know. My wifi connectivity worked fine up until a month ago when it cut out for no reason at all. Since then it cannot connect to any wifi sources. Also, my phone has recently been cutting out of service 1-2 times everyday. I understand that this may due to the fact that my phone is jailbroken. However is there anyway I could unjailbreak my phone? I'm not sure if it is factory unlocked because the iPhone wasn't bought from Apple even though it is legit. So is there really anything I could do to fix my phone? It's running on IOS 4.0.1.
    Please help me. I'm fifteen and I really have no idea what to do!

  • Calls dropped and phone reboots after ios4 upgrade

    After upgrading to ios4.3.3 from ios3.1.3, my calls get dropped/disconnected and the phone reboots. This happens even if I have no apps open in the multi tasking bar.
    Can you advise what to do please.
    I have tried to restore to factory settings in iTunes but it just reinstalls the latest version.
    I have also tried to reinstall the 3.1.3 by downloading the ipsw file but it will not install.
    Is there an update coming out soon for this as the phone is getting to be pretty much unusable.

    I took it to the apple store and they ran a diagnostics which was fine. They like you suggested to restore as NEW phone, they rekoned it might be a poorly written app in the backup which was causing the problem.
    Therefore only reinstall apps tested on iOS4.
    This has solved the problem.
    I did search the forum but didn't see anything, however as soon as I had posted I saw a thread with several pages on the issue with no solution but lots of theories so I did start to worry.

  • Voice Calls dropping over WLAN link

    The problem I am having is that I have 2 x 350 bridges set up with a Data Vlan & a Voice Vlan connecting 2 buildings. The Data works ok but the voice drops out occasionally. Cisco IP phones at both sites but connected through 3com switches. I have other sites exactly the same and working no problem. Any ideas

    This indicates a loss of RF signal for approximately 1.5 to 2 seconds. Because the phone was not in motion and there were no obstacles in the radio path from the AP to the phone, the conclusion is that another wireless device interfered. The device can be another AP on the same channel

  • Active call speaker and microphone issue

    I recently was using my included headphones, and after stopping, found that when I placed a call, I couldn't hear the caller, and they couldn't hear me. If I replaced the headphones, I could use them to make and receive calls. Same for bluetooth headset. Same for the speaker.
    What I found out may help others with the same problem (the genius bar people told me that I would have to send it in for a repair - it was a hardware problem they said.)
    It seems that dust or dirt in the headphone jack may caused the phone to think that the headphones were still plugged in. Some forceful blowing in the jack, and viola! Return to glory.
    Better than a $29 temporary replacement . . .

    I had this happen to me today. I tried turning the phone off and on and restoring to factory defaults without any change in the problem. Even tried this blow in the headphone jack trick and tried pluging my Belkin headphone adapter into the jack a few times with no resolution. Finally did a hard reset on the phone twice and it is working again for now.

    If you have your iPod set to transfer your music manually, then that “do not disconnect” message will continue to be displayed on your iPod until you manually eject it.
    You can do this by clicking on the little eject icon next to the iPod listing in the source window of iTunes, or right click on it and select “eject”. There is also an iPod 'eject' icon in the lower right hand corner of iTunes. Another way would be to use the “safely remove hardware” icon in the system tray next to the clock (looks like a grey rectangle with a green arrow above it). Click on this then select your iPod. Or through Windows, select start/my computer, right click on the iPod, select eject. With a Mac, drag the iPod into the trash.
    If you have your iPod set to automatically sync with iTunes, right click on the iPod in iTunes, select options and if you have a check mark in the box marked “enable disk use”, remove it and your iPod should automatically disconnect after it’s finished transferring music.

  • Connection of PLEK400 Drops and All Lights Go Dark

    My computer is in my bedroom on the second floor, while my router is on the first. From the moment I got my computer I've had problems with the wireless connection (As in it NEVER worked), so I bought a Belkin Wi-FI extender that worked nicely for about a year. It was a done deal and all was fine, until a few weeks ago when it went bad and I had to get rid of it. As wireless still didn't work (I'm really assuming it has to do with the connection to my computer from the router being too weak, as I have a crappy router-and-modem-in-one device which was provided by my ISP (Windstream)), I decided I needed another network extender. After lots of research, I set my sights on the PLEK400 which I then purchased along with some generic ethernet cables from Staples. I plugged one into the wall downstairs with an ethernet cable running from it to the router, and plugged another one into the wall close to my PC with an ethernet cable connecting the PL unit to the PC. The connection established, and I was overjoyed that my PC finally had Internet after those few Internet-less weeks. However, after browsing the Internet for a while, I went to open a new tab, and for some reason, I got the error err_network_changed (My browser is Google Chrome). I looked down at the PL unit and all of the lights were dark, none of them lit. After refreshing the error page a few times, it righted itself, the page loaded, and the two lights were flashing with the power one a solid green, like normal. Strange, I thought. However, this problem has begun to occur every 5 to 10 minutes. This would not be an issue, however, I am a gamer, so when I am Skyping my friends and playing online and the call drops and I have to disconnect every 5 - 10 minutes, I become very agitated. vv IMPORTANT? vvOur house is very old, so the entire thing is on the same breaker, so I know it's not that. I've heard that when there is a lot of electrical noise in an outlet (Many things connected to it), that can cause problems, so I'm going to state for the record that the powerstrip on which my entire PC setup operates and my upstairs PL unit are plugged into the same traditional two-plug outlet. (Don't know whether that may be a problem or not.)^^ IMPORTANT? ^^ I would really like to get these working or send them back as the entire setup (PLEK400 and ethernet cables) cost me about $60 - $70, and as a teen, that's a bit of money to me. Fast response is greatly appreciated by anyone who has any solutions to offer. I will be checking this post frequently throughout the night and following days for anyone who has anything to offer. If this is a product limitation and there is no way to fix it, PLEASE JUST TELL ME SO. I prefer to return everything and seek alternate solutions than wait too long for a solution that may never come to the point where I can no longer return anything and I am out $60 - $70. TL;DR: Lights on PL unit go dark, no internet for a minute or two, lights come back on, internet works again.     If you say that all lights go dark (including the power light), it means that the device itself is power cycling which is not a good thing. If it was just the power line light or the ethernet light, it would have been normal since that indicates disconnection, but if it's the power light, that's a different story. Does this only happen if you are using the internet or does it act the same way even on standby?   Press and hold the reset button of the device for 10 seconds using a pen or a paper-clip and powercycle the unit. It will also help isolate the situation if you try a different power source. BTW, have you tried checking if the 1 port PLE switch is acting the same way?

    I am using nokia Lumia 1320 with idea network. I am facing problem with call dropping and no signal. The same SIM using with any other mobile the signal was very good and no call dropping. The problem was facing with this nokia Lumia 1320 only. Pl guide me.

    Do you use proper Micro SIM or cut-off one? If the latter, swap it for an original Micro SIM. This should repair your network reception. Also check for updates to improve the overall performance of the device and reinsert your SIM.

  • Calls drop on WLAN UMA home net -8120 Pearl

    Since I have had this phone 4/08, maintaining UMA connections has been poor.  Calls often switch from UMA to TMO mobile net during calls.  I think it happens when not on calls too, but I'm not looking at phone when not in use.
    I've verified phone is set up to optimal with TMO support, checked WLAN AP/router too, followed BB Tech Sol. Center recommendations for supporting voice on WLAN APs.
    Seems to me that received signal on Pearl is weak even when within 10 ft of AP (-40DBi).  When moving around my little house, signal is usually down around 70-80DBi.
    What else am I missing?
    Is the Pearl antenna inherently weak?
    Is there a way to boost antenna power on the phone?

    Its not my intention to resurrect dead threads but I just had this very same issue with my 8120 and Rogers in Canada. I thought I would share my solution as I came upon this thread while looking for a solution.
    UMA is a service that functions like voip. Therefore it requires three things: (1) a client - in this case your phone (2) connectivity - in the form of wifi internet access and (3) a server - it is not automatic, your phone number has to have the UMA service added to your account with the cellular provider in order for you to connect to their server. And if their server has an issue you will fail to connect through UMA.
    So if your phone is functioning and can browse the internet through wifi then you have satisfied 2 of the 3 requirements.
    To test this I used the "Manage Connections" icon to turn off my mobile network. Then I verified that I could browse the internet through wifi and send and receive email but I could not make calls. In my case that just left the phone company.
    SO I called Rogers and bitched them out that my UMA stopped working and had them monkey around with the account settings until UMA came back on. Problem fixed.

  • Windows 10 Calls dropped problem with recording device

    I now there are others experiencing this issue. Though, however not only when either I call someone or they call me the call drops and "problem with recording device" error message is displayed. It is also stating to those trying to call me or answering my call that I can only accept IMs.Can someone please help as its starting to become a complete waste of my time. I am running Windows 10 and Skype Version: 7.7.0.103

Once the diagnostics completes, "Save All information..." to a text file. Please, attach this file to your post. Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

    I am also seeing this issue with CCM 4.1(3)sr1, Windows 2000.2.7sr2. Intermittently there are multiple "Error: BChannelOOS - B channel out of service." (and D channel out of service) errors in Event Viewer for different MGCP gateways (remote and local, 3845 and 3725's). I am going to check the CCM/SDL traces the next time this happens, but if you have any other suggestions or information I would appreciated it.
