ACTIVE DATA ERROR

Hi,
I am doing flat file extraction in BI 7 . I have created DSO and then continued with transformation and then info pacakage. After doing DTP, I right click on DSO >> Manage and activated the request.
I can see the number of entries in New data but it is not coming to active data.(After activation also)
can anyone help me in regard to this

Chk whther the activation job has completed successfully. Chk in SM37-> Jobname->Job logs, I hope the job should be in finished status but canceleld internally

Hi,
I think this problem remains unanswered.
The issue behind this problem is, during parellel activation the child jobs acknowledge the parent job about status. If the child job takes long time to read data from active data table, then it times out and fails.
Check the primary index on Active data table and it should be missing in your case. See the se11 index or db02 missing indexes. That is the reason that causes time out. Rebuild the primary index by asking your basis folks and repeat the activation. It should succeed.

I am not able to start "Oracle BAM Active Data Cache" on my machine.
The other two components "Oracle BAM Event Engine" and "Oracle BAM Report Cache" are starting properly.
When I see the event log file of my Computer I could see the details as below:

Hi Gurus, While activating I am getting these 2 messages "Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0FISCPER" and the other message is "Fiscal year variant K4 not expected" and in some other Data Packages I am getting "Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0FISCPER"

Error while activating data source in BI

Hello Team
I am facing issues while activating data source. I followed following steps .
a)First i created my target
b)Then i made my Primary key as info provider
c)Then i created one source system under file.
d)Then i went to data source and created one application component
e)In this application component i created my data source
f)In this data source i imported my file and all the settings. Now when i am checking then it is not giving any error . But when i am trying to activate it it is giving error . Please find the supporting screesnhots . Can anyone please suggest me as to what is going wrong .

Error while activating Data source

Hi,
I hit an error while activating data source with adapter 'WEB_PUSH web service'.
The error message is 'Generation of conversion exists and PSA update ...' with details 'Error generating Web service /BIC/CZZZ_0010000100 ...' and 'Error when activating DataSource ZZZ_001'.
I can't find much detail on this error.
Has anyone hit this error before and if you did can you please let me know what to check?

Error while activating data from new table of DSO to active table

while activating data from new table of DSO to active table i am getting
error message as "Error occurred while deciding partition number".
Plz any idea hoe to resolve this one.

Hi
You are trying to update/upload the Records which are already been there in the DSO Active Data Table which has the partition.
Try to see the Record Nos already been activated and update/upload with selective, if possible.
You can trace the changes at Change log table for the same.

Invalid character error while activating data in DSO.

Hi Experts,
We are facing an issue with presence of invalid characters in data from source. This throws SID generation error while activating data in DSO. Long text of error shows like this:
"Value " ĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠ" (HEX 000D0120012001200120012001200120012001200120012001) of characteristic contains an error at position 1"
Also we've tried adding the character " Ġ " in TCode RSKC, but it then shows as a rectangle box which I'm not able to copy manually(looks like a blank space or something of that sort).
We've tried implementing routine to remove special characters while loading data, but still it fails. Due to huge amounts of data, its practically unfeasible to check each record manually.
Any useful suggestions will be acknowledged.

We are using following code for the same purpose. U can use it at infoobject level mapping. This code will check value of each character in the data coming, whether it is in RSKC, if it is a allowed one then it will be passed as it is. Otherwise it will replace that character by space.

Hi,
In the displaying error message tab of ODS activation, you will get error message and invalid value for the 0CALMONTH will be displayed. Search the NEW TABLE of ODS with the same value, identify the error records.
If you have PSA in the flow, delete (w/o making the status RED), correct data in PSA and reconstruct the data.
If you don't have PSA, you have to delete by making red, reload through PSA correcting the erroneous data in PSA.

Error while Enabling Active Data Cache Clustering Services: error 1753

I have installed the Oracle BAM with Enterprise link.All the installation was successful.But while Enabling Active Data Cache Clustering Services using the following command:

i am getting the folllowing error:
System error 1753 has occurred.
There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.
Although i stopped the Active Data Cache Service..?

after installing BAM every thing working fine ,but if restart my system Oracle BAM active data cache service throwing following error

Make sure the path to the ODAC used by BAM (C:\OracleBAM\ClientForBAM\bin) is the first item in the system PATH
environment variable. Restart your computer after fixing this.
If that doesn't fix it, please check the Troubleshooting section in the BAM Install Guide.

C03 Error - 1.5 Months after activation date still...

Hi,
I ordered BT vision and broadband back at the start of April. Activation date was 21st April. Broadband worked straight away but I received the c03 error on my bt vision service. 9 Calls later still no further forward. Each call they helpline people, that's either Technical support, order management or other groups, all have come up with different theories and 'fixed' them. Each time with a 24-48 hour wait and the promise of a call back. Obviously each time no joy and no call back. Additionally I then received another welcome pack last week with a new activation date of June 2nd - again no difference to the service.
Main theory seems to be that the Vision is on the correct phone line and that the broadband is on a wrong line. This however can only be fixed by a 'back -office' department which I'm not allowed to speak to. And after several requests from the helpline to them I was told it had been changed and was fixed. However on my call today I was told that this had not been done. Was also told if I wanted to cancel my service there would be penalty charges!
Please can a mod sort this out?

Co3 error activation date has passed

Hi all I'm having problems with vision everytime i reboot the box that was delivered yesterday i get the c03 error i tried calling call centre there usless keep saying i promise it will come on it takes time but my activation date has now pass im starting to wish i never left virgin now any ideas how i can watch tv

1. A C03 error means your Vision account has not been set up correctly at BTs end.
2. A c02 error means the box tried to upgrade its software and failed. This 99% probably happened because of point 1.
Get the Mods on it. They are very helpful.
