Active Task Notification for Rescheduled Tasks

Active Task Notification for Rescheduled Tasks
version 2007
I'd like to setup a notification to the Performer when their rescheduled tasks become active again.  I've tested emails triggered by "Notify when activity starts:", but have had no success.  Ideas?

Hi David,
Go to the System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management
Then Global Services -> Scheduler Tasks -> Scheduler for Deadline Task
When you edit the WFTaskSchedulerDeadline you have a property called Time Table.
There you can define how often and when the task should run.
Greetings, Marcel

  • Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are Not going to Lotus Notes

    Hello Everyone,
    Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
    I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/pages/viewpage.action&pageId=61244035
    It was worked fine once for me when i perfomed the activities mentioned in the below thread:https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/thread?threadID=147316
    But after restarting our Portal Server the Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are not coming.
    Could any one please suggest that we need to do any other configurations.Thank you.
    Regards,
    Sridhar.

  • How to deactivate task complete in task properties for background task.

    Hi Workflow Experts,
          How to deactivate task complete in task properties for background task. Please suggest me.
    Thanks
    Ashraf

    Hi Ashraf,
    You misunderstood the problem. The workflow will never hang up when the Task complete icon is in green color.
    When you do agent determination and BO method assignement done properly in the task level, it shows green color.
    Try to check the workflow log and find out the issue.
    Reward points if it helps.
    Thanks,
    Saravanan.

  • Task category for overdue tasks

    Hi all,
    I want to create view in CRM to show tasks that are overdue (past due date) by more than 30, 60, 90 days.
    I was thinking having new hidden field in Task which workflow would update if task is past due. What I am struggling is where to start on the workflow. Or maybe there are other ways to do this?
    Any thoughts?

    Hi,
    I would go with creating SSRS report for this .
    Retrieve a data from Task Entity for the the activity due date equal 90(since this is the last day u have mentioned) days .
    create a data source and data set with this query, Design your table with required fields.
    Finally write a filter for due date in with "dateAdd" expression in the tablix properties filters for 30 days and 60 days, 90 days can be shown as it is without filter.

  • Create ADF Task Flow for Human task outside of SOA Composite

    Hi,
    Is there any way you can create ADF Task Flow form (for the task Details to be display in worklistapp) for a Human task out side of the SOA Composite applicaiton?. I know we can create ADF Task flow form for task details based on Human Task in SOA composite application. But I dont want to do that. I dont want to keep any association between Human task and ADF Task Flow.
    If there is a way to do this, How can we assiciate this ADF Task flow form with worklist applicaiton?

  • E7-00 activating email notifications for one speci...

    My personal email has been setup through the built-in email client, and my corporate email through Notes Traveler. I'm running S^3 Anna, with Traveler 8.5.3.
    What I want to do is to just receive notifications for new emails on my personal email account, and deactivate the notifications from emails arriving to Traveler. This is something that worked in the past with my old E71-2, where I could select which email account could notify me, and it worked perfectly for me due to the deluge of work related emails.
    On the E71 device I had the Nokia email app for my personal email instead of using the built-in email client. This app appears that is no longer available to download, so I had to use the built-in email client that comes with the E7-00.
    I've looked everywhere on the phone, and appears that there is only two choices:
    a) Disable email notifications for all email accounts
    b) Enable notifications for all accounts.
    If anyone has any idea how to selectively configure email notifications in a E7 the way it was able to do in my E71, I would greatly appreciate it.

    e7 does NOT have email notifications. You just have to place the pers acc widget on the homescreen. E7 does NOT have options to configure def acc either. Push works on LT & MFE but NM push does NOT either. Anna makes all these things worse. Good luck.

  • Email notification for uwl task recipient

    Hi all,
    there will be no email notification sent, when a user receives a new task from the adhoc workflow of the portal. At http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/a91f40337d436aba318fb4920437db/content.htm I read, that only the tracker of the task get a notification:
    "...The Java Workflow can provide notifications using either the KM notification service or the JavaMail transport service. Notifications are sent to the tracker(s) of a task..."
    Does anybody know, if there is a possibility to send a notification to the recipient, so that he knows that he got a task? without that, the notification is useless I think!
    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,
    I think, what you are looking for can be done with the INotificationService API: https://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/nw_kmc/javadoc/com/sapportals/wcm/service/notificator/package-summary.html
    You can send notifications to a list of recipients.

  • Enquiry - Task parameters for human tasks

    Hello,
    I am trying to create a simple process for an approval process. screenshot
    I am trying to create a User task (Approval), in which I plan to pass in a Task Parameter of type Integer named "ageIn". This parameter will be used to decide upon which path to take later via an Exclusive Gateway (Approved?).
    I have defined the task parameter as shown here.
    I then tried to update the task's payload via Java using JAX-WS as follows:
    Task task = null;
              try {
                   task = taskQueryService
                             .getTaskDetailsById(taskDetailsByIdRequestType);
              } catch (Exception e1) {
                   out.write("error!");
                   return;
         Document document = XmlUtils.createDocument();
              Element payloadElem = document.createElementNS(
                        "http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/workflow/task", "payload");
              Element ageElem = document.createElementNS(
                        "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#integer", "ageIn");
              ageElem.appendChild(document.createTextNode("99"));
              payloadElem.appendChild(ageElem);
              document.appendChild(payloadElem);
              task.setPayload(payloadElem);
              TaskServiceContextTaskBaseType aaa = new TaskServiceContextTaskBaseType();
              aaa.setWorkflowContext(workflowContextType);
              aaa.setTask(task);
              Task task2 = null;
              try {
                   task2 = taskService.updateTask(aaa);
              } catch (StaleObjectFaultMessage e1) {
                   // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                   e1.printStackTrace();
              } catch (WorkflowErrorMessage e1) {
                   // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                   e1.printStackTrace();
    // update task outcome
              UpdateTaskOutcomeType updateTaskOutcomeType = new UpdateTaskOutcomeType();
              updateTaskOutcomeType.setOutcome("REJECT");
              updateTaskOutcomeType.setWorkflowContext(workflowContextType);
              updateTaskOutcomeType.setTask(task2);
              // updateTaskOutcomeType.setTaskId(taskId);
              try {
                   taskService.updateTaskOutcome(updateTaskOutcomeType);
                   out.write("Approved!");
              } catch (Exception e) {
                   String message = e.toString();
                   if (e instanceof com.oracle.xmlns.bpel.workflow.taskservice.WorkflowErrorMessage) {
                        com.oracle.xmlns.bpel.workflow.taskservice.WorkflowErrorMessage wem = (com.oracle.xmlns.bpel.workflow.taskservice.WorkflowErrorMessage) e;
                        message = wem.getFaultInfo().getFaultInfo();
                   out.write("Error - " + message);
    However, when I looked at the process instance via Enterprise Manager, I found that the process's status has been SUSPENDED. screenshot

    Here is the documentation http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_notif.htm#SOASE548

  • Task notification configuration

    I am having trouble configuring task notifications for UWL and Collaboration. Sending emails work fine from a user profile popup, but not when creating or updating tasks.
    Please help - is there a way to check logs or debug why task emails aren't sent? If anyone can spot trouble with my configuration... please help.
    After reseaching all I could on configuration, this is what I've configured:
    System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Collaboration > Groupware Transports > Mail Transport
    SMTP Server: <mailserver>.<domain>
    System alias Name: Email_System
    System Administration  > System Configuration > Universal Worklist and Workflow > Workflow > Mail
    Host: <mailserver>.<domain>
    Protocol: SMTP
    SMTP HOst: <mailserver>.<domain>
    System Administration  > System Configuration > Universal Worklist and Workflow > Workflow > Engine.
    Event Sender: WFDirectEventSender
    Notification Service: CM Notification
    Notify Assignees on Task Creation: True
    System Administration  > System Configuration  > Knowledge Management  > Content Management  > Global Services > Advanced Options  > Mailing Service.
    Checked Active
    System Administration  > System Configuration  > Knowledge Management  > Content Management  > Global Services > Advanced Options  > Notificator Service > Channels Email
    Server: <mailserver>.<domain>
    System Administration  > System Configuration  > Knowledge Management  > Content Management  > Global Services > Advanced Options  > Notificator Service > Notificator Email
    Originator Address: <my_email>@<domain>
    Thank you

    Ok try this instead:-
    concat(ns0:property_name, ",", ns0:property_value,"& # 13;") (""&amp sign # 13; ) (use without spaces.)
    is supposed to add a new line .
    The trick to insert the new line character in XML payload from Oracle BPEL is to append
    in the from expression of assign activity, then check your .bpel file it would have &amp;#13; rather than
    because Jdeveloper replaces & with its equivalent escape character &amp;. You need to replace &amp; with & so it would become the correct new line character
