Hi
I am using 10.1.3.4 OBIEE.
How to find what are the user loged in Presentation services.
e.g
User1 loged in Answer page,he is looking into Dashbord 1
User2 loged in looking into Dashboard2
User3 is administrator.He want to know,what are the users currently active?

Hi ,
Display sessions will give only active users details which are currently connected to the ESSBASE .
if you need this list ? or you need the total list of security active users list ?
if you need the currently connected to the ESSBASE
if you check one server At a time or you can check the application level also
1)server level
display session all;
2)application level
display session on application 'application name ';
go for the run command ---> essmsh-----> login;----->enter user name ----> enter password----->enter host (like server name ) then you need to you above 1 &2 commands

How to Automate the Generation of Active User List in SAP

Hi experts,
Can you assist me with the following scenario?
Scenario:
From time to time, I am requested by client to produce the list of active users in SAP.
I retrieved this list from T-Code: SUIM.
User Information System > User > Users by Complex Selection Criteria > By Role.
Then I select all users by specifying the following value in Role field:
Z*
In the next screen, I clicked on Roles icon to produce the final layout. This list is exported as local file in Spreadsheet format.
Question:
Is there any way to automate this process? Can I schedule a job and whenever my client request the same info, I can just run that job and automate the whole process?

Off course there is! You're using BW (or BI whatever!)
One option:
Go to table AGR_USERS and select there by roles starting with Z* your desired users. But you still have to download to excel.
Second option:
Create an abap program that reads the table AGR_USERS and prints the information to the screen and/or to a excel/txt file. You can also schedule this program every day or every night for example.
Third option:
Create an extractor of the table AGR_USERS and build a query. You can feed the extractor every day or twice a day. Since you have the query, your boss can run it himself and stop bugging you! (You could try build a remote InfoProvider so the data can always be updated at the time of the query execution)

Extract user list from NT 4.0 Domain

Hi All,
I am in the process of upgrading the NT4 domain to Active Directory.
Can someone please provide a a way to generate a topology diagram for Windows NT infrastructure.
I know this is a very old technology, however i am now handicapped since none of the tools, like (hyena, AD Manager, DS Query, etc) are working.
Is there any method to run a topology diagramming similar to Active Directory Topology Diagramming in NT4.0 domain.
Also i want a way to extract the active user list from NT Domain as well.
OS version is windows NT 4.0 SP6

Hi Paul, Thank you for reverting it back. I think i do have one of the member server 2003 joined into the NT4 domain. I will surely give it a try. Does it need to be a DC, if yes, how can a DC be promoted in an NT4 environment.
In my current scenario there are around 2000 servers joined into the NT domain and I need to upgrade the NT to active directory. There are few things as per the design so far.
>The members are all static IP addressing
> there is no DNS in NT so they use a dns suffixes to a different domain (2008 functional level)
> NT 4 is used only as authentication source.
> Not sure if there are any NT Domain service accounts configured in the member servers.

Active Uasers list required from E Business Suit (11.5.10.2)

Current Setup -
We are on Windows setup for Oracle E Business Suit (11.5.10.2), We do not have HR implemented.
My Requirement -
I required a select query to find out the active login users who are having email id's attached and seperate list of users id's who do not have attached email id's.
Also requred a list of AME users / Workflow related users list as well.
So can any body give me the select statement or a program from which i can get the information which is required?

Export shared service active users (provision for Hyperion)only using MSAD.

Hi..
I m using Hyperion 9.x . and using active directory in shared services.
while i m using importexport utility to export the active users list with provisioning.
Issue is :
Hyperion external authentication have all users of Active directory but i need to export only active users which are provisioned for Hyperion projects .
I dont need the complete users list .
Also i m unable to export the provisioning of users in exported file.
Please can you help me in getting the correct export statement for the above.

We have a long list of disabled/deleted users in AD Somehow, they are still appeared as active user in Sharepoint Online. How do we get rid of those list? Hope you can advice. Thanks.

SharePoint does not remove users from SharePoint permissions just because they were deleted/disabled in AD. This is to maintain referential integrity. In fact, when you delete a user from SharePoint, that user remains in the SharePoint content database,
just marked as deleted.
They do not have access to SharePoint given their account is deleted/disabled. But as far as automatically managing this, I'm not aware of a tool. On-prem there is Metalogix ControlPoint which does a great job of this, I haven't explored the O365 options.

Unable to find user list in Active Directory Authenticator

I am using weblogic 10.3 and want to configure ActiveDirectory Authenticator for my weblogic application. We have one managed srever under admin server . I have configured a Active Directory Authenticator named "ADAuthenticator" and made following changes as per the below values:
I set the control flag to "OPTIONAL" .
Security Realms-->myrealm-->Providers-->ADAuthenticator-->Provider Specific
UserName Attribute : ServiceBEA
Principal : ServiceBEA
Host : xxxxxx
User Search Scope : subtree
Group From Name Filter : (&(ServiceBEA=%g)(objectclass=group))
Credential : xxxxxx
Confirm Credential : xxxxxx
User From Name Filter : (&(ServiceBEA=%u)(objectclass=user))
Static Group Name Attribute : ServiceBEA
User Base DN : values provided as per requirement
Port : 389
User Object Class : user
Use Retrieved User Name as Principal : checked
Group Base DN : same values as per User Base DN
Static Group Object Class : group
Group Membership Searching : unlimited
Max Group Membership Search Level : 0
These are my AD settings. After doing this i click on save and then activate changes and then restarted the admin server.
But the problem is when i login to weblogic console to check the user list under "User and Group" i am unble to find any Active Directory users.
I don't know where i made the mistake. Can some make me out of this trouble.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Actually we have already a Active Directory with username "ServiceBEA" in our windows server. So i used this "ServiceBEA" as UserName Attribute in weblogic console while creating a Active Directory Authenticator.
You mean to say that we should go for "sAMAccountName" or what? If that is the case then i have also tested with following values, but still no luck.

Principal : ServiceBEA

You can use third party software True Last Logon 2.9.You can export the file in excel for report creation.You can use the trial version this will achieve what you are looking for.
True Last Logon displays the following Active Directory information:
--Users real name and logon name
--Detailed account status
--Last Logon Date & Time
--Last Logon Timestamp (Replicated value)
--Account Expiry Date & Time
--Enabled or Disabled Account
--Locked Accounts
--Password Expires
--Password Last Set Date & Time
--Logon Count
--Bad Password Count
--Expiry Date
--You can also query for any other attribute (Example: Description, telephone Number, custom attibutes etc)

Active BO user list?

Morning All!
Is there a standard content report or something CMC to tell how many active users? Our BASIS team can only tell us who has a BO account. I thought about going to reoccurring reports in CMC and selecting those users but I can't copied that data into excel to manipulate it plus that's assuming no users run reports without running reoccurring reports which I believe to be false. Any insight?

SM04 uses a kernel call to get the active user data, not table is involved:
Get the list of logged on users

For accessing OID information you can take a look at the OID Portlet which is part of the PDK.zip, that you can download from Portalstudio.

One point I would like to make though is that Portal maintains a list of all active users, i.e., those users who have logged into portal at least once. If you want a list of all users in OID, you might consider JNDI or some LDAP APIs for generating the list of all users in OID.

Goto TADIR table give program id as R3TR ,Objec type as CMOD and execute.
You will get all active exits in system.
Exits related to SD may be in ZSD package.
