Active X Calendar Event

I would like to select an event case in an event structure when a new date is selected in an active x contained calendar. How do I get the active x event to be seen within Labview?

Hello optobionics,
Assuming you are using LabVIEW 7.0 or 7.1, there are two shipping examples that deal with registering callback functions for ActiveX events: ActiveX Event Callback for Excel.vi and ActiveX Event Callback for IE.vi. This will give you some idea of what to do. It is actually up to the program being called through ActiveX as to whether the events are available or not. The following KnowledgeBase also discusses using callback functions.
Migrating from the ActiveX Event VIs to Using the Register Event Callback Node
If none of these suggestions help, or if Im not correctly understanding your issue, please reply with comments or answer
s to the discussion above and any additional information that may help, and Ill be happy to look further into it.
Have a nice day!

  • I am not able to select invitees when scheduling a calendar event within hotmail while using FireFox v7.0.1 browser. Works with IE and Safari. Problem exists on a Mac using Firefox as well as a PC using Firefox. Please help.

Compose a calendar event and attempt to invite others. No error message appears but nothing happens. When attempting to manually enter an email address - only can enter a few characters and then nothing happens.

I fixed the problem by activating the Silverlight plugin. Open the menu button in Firefox. Click on Add-ons. This will open the Mozzilla page. Click Plugins. The Ad- ons Manager will open. It will list your ad-ons. Find Silverlight, then on the far right, choose how you want it to operate. I chose Always Activate. I had this problem on my Win7 laptop. When i tried to stream on my Win7 desktop, I got a pop-up asking me to activate Silverlight. I cllcked it and Netflix started streaming right away. Why the two Win7 machines are different, I have no idea.

  • Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events from my iPhone in my mac pro if I already registered it in the cloud?

Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events already registered in my iPhone, in my Mac Pro ?  I already actualize LION OSX   and selected these items in the adjustments menu of the icloud. I could do it just once, after I installed Lion OSX, but up to the moment it does not updates.

Assuming you activated iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud and make sure Calendars and Contacts are set to ON.

  • Iphone does not sync OUTLOOK CONTACT NOR CALENDAR EVENTS (XP)

I was able to sync photos- music but no contacts-Calendar events from OUTLOOK 2003. The fact that my outlook PST file is not located in the default Outlook directory could be the problem but I am not sure. Anyone out there having the same issue??? Please let me know. thank you. Phil

Have no problems here with Vista and Outlook 2003. PST is not saved in default location, syncs without a hitch.
Seems problems are hit or miss. I have had a flawless experience while my brother who bought one at the same time is having a nightmare of a time with his install. From iTunes 7.3 crashing to activation nightmares.

  • My iphone 4 will not back up calendar events to the icloud!

Since I installed Mountain Lion and subsequently activated iCloud for the first time I have been having a few issues with Calendars.
First issues was all the doubled up events which I eventually sorted out by turning the iCloud settings on and off and then merging for my Macbook and iPhone 4. Since then any Calendar events that I have entered on my Macbook have been backing up to the iCloud with no issues and have been pushing to my iPhone as well. Where the problem comes in is when I enter an event on my iPhone calendar it does not back up to the iCloud and therefore does not come up on my Macbook calendar either. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.

  • Calendar event link to Mail does not update

This is interesting.  In calendar when I open an event that was created from an email that I had received, there is a link in the event that says. "Show in Mail…".  When I click on that link (in the calendar event), Mail becomes the active application and the email that the calendar event is based on shows up in a new window in Mail.  However, if I then open another calendar even and click on the "Show in Mail…" link, the email from the first event's link come up again.  Something broken??
Anyone else have this issue and any possible fix??
    Thanks in advance,
    DJ

  • Getting tasks, calendar event from MS Exchange Server

    Hello!
I have a problem. I need to connect to MS Exchange Server and read different kind of information. I was advised by my manager to look for libraries to do so. He said that there are probably some and if not then you should think how to do it without them. I looked for some and discovered that there are some kind of them but they are for money $$$.
I need to connect to Exchange Server to read tasks, calendar events and mail. I looked throw the forum and found some topics, but no results. I found a framework which is disributed for free under GNU licence www.omesc.com
Please, tell me, anybody, is there are any open source free libraried to do that. And if not that can you give me some ideas about how can I connect to Exchange Server and get some information from it.
I am desperate, I don't know what to do, please anybody help me...

    Hi,
You can use directly a jndi ldap context if the Ldap connector of your Exchange server is up...
It worked perfectly for me as anonymous...
One other way, if you have an active directory, you can connect to it as Ldap with ldap authentication ( mandatory for directory browsing... )
    I hope it helps

  • Create a Reminder from Calendar Event

I am trying to create an applescript application that will automatically create a reminder when triggered by an alert. I want the name of the reminder name to be the same as the name of the calendar event.
This simple applescript will create a new reminder when "opened" by a calendar alert:
    tell application "Reminders"
              make new reminder of list "To Do" with properties {name:"This is the new reminder"}
    end tell
Is there anyway I can get this script to 'get' the name of the calendar event that "opened" it and use that for the reminder name?

You cannot drop something onto an app window that was still in Exposé mode (only window on a dark background). After hovering over the app icon, and when the app window appears in Exposé, hover over that until the app comes into the foreground. Then, you should get a green + badge on the drag icon.
If you start dragging and cmd-tab to Reminders, the window should be an active drop zone immediately.

  • Shared Calendar Event Notifications

My wife and I are both using the new iPhone 6 and utilize iCloud to share our Family calendar.  I am the owner on the account and I share it with both her and my daughter.  My wife is set to view and edit the calendar, where my daughter is set only to view.  When I make a change or addition to the calendar, either from my phone, iPad, or PC, my wife does not get a notification of the activity.  When she makes a change or addition, I do get a notification.  I get a pop up notification, as well as a message in my calendar in box.  I checked both phones against each other last night and they are set up exactly the same as far as shared calendar notifications and other settings through the settings menu.  Any ideas on where else I can check.  I would like for her to receive the same notifications I get.
    Thanks!

as far as i understand iCal it is on the "receivers/subscribers" side to deal with email-updates (and not on the "senders/changers" side):
snippet from my Re: How do you stop receiving notifications about updated calendar events? (there is a screenshot as well):
to NOT get email notification about updated events from a shared calendar you subscribed to you have to uncheck "events affect availability" in that calendars "info" (mac os X.7 and X.8: iCal —> calendars dropdown —> right click on the subscribed calendar —> choose "get info" from the context-menu —> uncheck "events affect availability")

  • .ME Calendar and iPhone Sharing - Can Anyone Send You A Calendar Event Req?

    Hello All,
I have a quick question for the forum? I am looking to get an iPhone and using .ME services.
My question is with - Calendar. Can anyone send me a meeting request or other calendar events?
For example, my wife needs to make sure I know about an appointment, is there a way she can send me the appointment request?
I would love to get my wife a phone also, that way we can have calendars to help keep us in touch of things to come....kids kind of have a way of keeping you busy....
Would we setup a central shared calendar on .ME and make the appointments there and then add us to the appointment so it would send the request to both of us?
Will you be able to access more then one calendar on the iPhone?
Sorry if this has been asked before, just trying to find a nice to keep thing little more organized in a somewhat chaos day..
    Thanks...

    David,
I would love to hear any responses you get to this. David Rock in his book Quiet Leadership says that the human brain can only retain 7 things in the active short term memory at one time. Ergo, the need for things like Outlook Calendars. But I find it frustrating that I cannot send my wife a calendar invite so that she knows when I have certain obligations or meetings.
    Kindly,
    Dave Han

  • Same calendar event displaying multiple times

Hi, I currently see the same calendar event three times in different colors. I am utiling active sync and am on firmware 2.1. This started happening recently therefore I know this is not a firmware issue.
I have blown away my account and re-established it. Anyone have any ideas.

  • How to push calendar events from iPhone to Google Calendar

I have successfully setup google calendars to sync with my phone and created a test event on google calendar website and it correctly pushed to my phone.
Now, my question is will the events that I already created natively on the iphone while under the Microsoft Outlook calendar push back to google calendars to where I can see them on the website? Will I have to go in and recreate while in specifically the Exchange google calendar or will they push back if I'm in the "All Calendars" view and create an event?
One last thing, I have not synced the phone with itunes yet since activating google calendar sync. Is that required?
Sorry if this is all confusing. I'm just learning the calendar thing for the phone.
    Thanks in advance!

I had all sorts of headaches trying to get this to work. But yes, you can do a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google Calendars to make sure Google has ALL your events. You then turn on sync on the iPhone, so the three are in sync.
What I did (do not try this at home ) is I deleted my Google Calendar and turned off sync on the iPhone (deleting the calendar data from my iPhone). I started with ONE source of appoinments. I then removed/reinstalled the Google sync app on my PC and initiated a 1-way sync from Outlook to Google. Now Google had a brand new calendar with all my appointments. I then turned on 2-way sync between my PC and Google. Next step, turn on calendar sync on the iPhone. That way all the appointments from Google (which are all the appointments from Outlook) downloaded onto my iPhone. Voila!

  • Phones with the same Active Standby Calendar as 66...

    Hello,
I currently have a 6650 Fold Nokia Handy. I like it because the Active Standby Calendar does show you all appointments in the near future. For example:
    01.04 Date with Caroll
    03.04 Date with Jecky
    05.04 Birtday Paul
    07.04 Doctor
Im very happy with it and I dont want to miss that feature.
But now Im looking for a new phone and Im shocked that most new Nokia phones do only show 1 or 2 Calendar entrys on the Active Standby Screen!
Even the E Series, wich is supposed to be Buisness Phones, do only show up more then one appointmens when they are on the same day!
Can anyone tell me what Nokia Sliders have the same Active Standby Calendar as the Nokia 6650 Fold?
    Many thanks

One the newer touch phones though, on shortcuts bar homescreen you can see up to 10 events listed.
Only if all of them are on the same or next day.  It won't display them any further ahead than that.  So if you have one entry saved for today, one for tomorrow and one for the day after that it will only show two entries.
What could be an option to consider is an N97 or N97mini with the coming next calendar widgets installed.  This allows many entries to be shown from days to months ahead.
    For example:

  • How can I see Calendar event END times at a glance?

How can I display my Calendar event titles exactly as I type them? I do not want Calendar to remove duration from the titles of my events. Otherwise I can't see event END times at a glance in month view; only start times. How can I "trick" Calendar to just show my titles as I type them - as I always could before I upgraded. I used to be able to enter "Seminar 9am-5:45" and it would appear that way regardless of how or what I chose to enter (or not enter) for duration.
    I am running OSX 10.9.3.

It's a bit weird, but if you type in the time info TWICE into the event title then Calendar uses/deletes one of them to populate the event details and leaves the other.

  • How can I forward a calendar event that I did not create?

I can't see a way to forward a calendar event, when I am not the event creator. How is this done on an iPhone or iPad?

There is an app that allows this - called Forward My Meeting.  It allows you to forward any meeting in your calendar from the iPhone or iPad.
I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.
