ActiveX Disabled
After this week of Windows Update
ActiveX has been completely disabled in my Office 2013 Excel Windows 8.1.
All my workbooks with Command Buttons are not working. If I click a Command Button, nothing happens.
If I try to insert a command Button, I get the error “Cannot insert object”
Active X settings: Prompt me before enabling…
Macro settings; Enable all macros
Message Bar: Show Message Bar.

The answer from Troy Wickard about deleting the files in
C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp\Excel8.0
solved the problem.
As Hans Vogelarr suggested, there was 3 .exc files in Temp\Excel8.0

when i am trying to deploy the webdynpro java pplication error is coming.but before up to 2 days every thing is working fine.
from two days onwards i cant run any webdynpro applications even which are sap provided applications also.and also can not come properly http://hostname:portno/sld page. i can not moving to more to do anything.
every browser saying javavoid(0); and java applet can not be run like.
only the opera browser shoeing the error toatlly . here i paste the error . please give reply why i can not doing any thing more. But my server and every thing is showing up and good.

When I am trying to assign mobile component getting error
Hi All,
Whenever I am trying to find mobile component which newly added I am getting following error.
com.sap.ip.mi.admin.core.ApplicationException: Field CHANGEDAT not a member of MEAPPLICATION_INTERFACE
Apart that I am getting following error in another window.

Hi I'm trying to put in place since BW-SEM RSPLAN the transaction, I'm pointing at my portal from the transaction RSPLSA
But when it signs the user gets the message Error while obtaining JCO connection.
I was reviewing my WebDynpro on my site by following these steps:

I think the problem is with the node that u have mapped to the data source property of the Interactive Form UI element. Create a element of the node(which u are mapping to the data source property) or set the cardinality to 1..1 or 1..n, for that node.

The error message tells you that something is referencing a NULL value in the code of the UMRepositoryManager class. This is generally a sign of poor error detection in the code and not checking for NULL's before trying to use them! If I were you I would try the following:
1. Check your User Management Engine (UME) configuration
2. Check the KM UM Repository Manager configuration
I would say that because the code is standard SAP code the problem is somewhere in the configuration of your system (i.e. the code is expecting something to be configured but it is not). I would also recommend checking SAP OSS notes for a possible solution.

I runned an Web Dynpro Application in different browsers(Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer). The problem is that in Firefox is running fine, but in Internet Explorer some controls are missing and in Opera I got an Error Page that say the following:

to my understanding - your problem has nothing to do with J2EE server configuration - your application is already deployed on the server and running (brings error though):

DC = Development Component, but if you created a "simple" WebDynpro project - you should read the hint as "are you sure your project is properly deployed?"
I got similar messages (see your quota about NoSuchMethodException - I'm not really sure I was getting NSME, but definitely "Failed to create delegate for view") in case a Java-type context attribute was not initialized (e.g. you create context attribute of type java.util.Properties, do not put any object there, and request the attribute value). Check if you properly initialize context attributes.
Another thing - I presume you're running DevStudio of the same version as your server. DevStudios of different versions generates different sources - there could be problems in run-time when out of synchronization.

How to disable IE Security Warning on opening a "local" visio file with Visio Viewer ActiveX?
Hello all,
Everyone knows that Microsoft released ActiveX based Visio Viewer for free and allow the users to open Visio drawing and view/print via IE browser.
The problem that I am facing is that some users are complaining about IE browser's security warning on "active content to run in files on My Computer".
It means that opening .VSD files from the network, internet, intranet would be all OK but if the user wants to open .VSD files from the local hard drive (or open it as a mail attachment, which will extract it to a temp folder), it prompt the user to select "Allow Blocked Content" EVERYTIME they open them.
I know that I can GLOBALLY disable this warning by going through Tools - Internet Options - Security section and enable "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" but I hope that there is a way (or workaround) to allow them by file type or location, etc.
Questions:
1. Is there any way to disable those warning for all .VSD only while we still UNCHECK the option on Internet Options?
2. Is there any 3rd party Win32 based viewer which wouldn't have those restriction?
3. Is it safe assumption that McAfee VirusScan and Host IPS protection is sufficient enough to remove the IE's security warning feature?

Young-Are you able to host/launch the VSD file via an HTM page? In that case you can format the HTM page as shown below. This will trick IE into thinking it is loading the file off of a website. Commonly called 'mark of the web'.

How do you disable the IE8 ActiveX warning when previewing HTML files created in Dreamweaver?
All,
I'm trying to find a workaround to disable an annoying warning message in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8).
Explorer generates a security warning if you open a local file (i.e. one stored on your local hard drive and not the server) that contains scirpts or ActiveX controls (including JavaScript). Button actions such as opening a PDF work but the rollovers will not. Everything works fine if the user clicks on the warning banner, clicks "allow content", and then clicks "Yes". Since this file and content may be distributed to many people to run on their local systems, it would be better if they didn't have to perform these three clicks or modify their browser security settiings.
Previous versions of Dreamweaver supported a command called "Insert Mark of the Web" which inserted the following line of code:

Adobe removed this command, so the line of code must now be inserted manually. I've tried inserting it in various lines of the HTML code, but doing so results in the same problem: the rollovers work, but the button actions do not.
Does anyone know of another work around?
