Activities under a delimited Org unit

Hello,
We have recently implemented EIC.
Have a simple query,if we delimit a particular Org unit,whether activities under that Org unit can be processed or not.

I want ORG UNITS whose END DATE is within 2 years????
I Will give you scenarios
If HRP1000 table has changed for some reasons' and 5000(ORG UNIT) will create 2 records
Ex: 5000 jan 1 2005 dec 31 2009
                jan 1 2010 12/31/9999
This 5000 should't pick up as it has end date 12/31/9999 ok...
EX: 5001         JAN 1 2006 OCT 1 2007
                       OCT 1 2007   MAY 5 2009
Last record:    MAY 6 2009 Feb 6 2010
So this 5001 org unit should pick up as this last date is FEB 6 2010.

Hi All I need to find the org unit's which doesn't have end date as 12/31/9999 and delimited within 2 years in my report?

Delimiting Org Unit

Hi All,
i have an issue. When i am delimiting an org unit using Po10 system is giving me a meassgae that
"IT1000 can only be delimited via Delimit Objects."
What does that mean? Also How can I delimit an object?

Hi,
No it does not allow me to delimit object using Po10, PP01 or PP02.
Also in main screen of Po10 is i select the IT1000 and go to delimit icon in the proceeding screen i cant delimit
org unit.
Does it has to do anything with some logic or concepts?

Delimited Org Unit(having end date Current date) are not coming in Bex output.

HI All ,
I have problem with BEx query output while using the Org. Unit Time dependent Hierarchy structure. In ECC side some of the Org. Unit nodes were delimited or their end date set to less than current date. Now this hierarchy is loaded to BW on daily basis those Org. Unit also laoded to BW hierarchy and these nodesare not coming up in our query output. Client wants to see these unit data as it important to him.

As per my understanding, the valid to/end date for Hierarchy should be 31.12.9999. May I know what is Valid To in your case?
Did yo u check the change happend in ECC for hierarchy is reflecting in BW ?
There mught be some restriction in BEx Query , please check

Report to the employee list under an org unit for a specific PSA

Hello Experts,
Is there any standard report to see the list of employees belonging to a particular sub org unit under a particular personnel sub area?
For eg: There is a company X, and it has got 3 plants in blore, mumbai and chennai.
Blore , chennai amd mumbai represent the personnel sub area for the company X.
to see the list of employees working under operational sub org unit , under the org unit of company X in blore, is there any standard report in SAP??

Fetching employees under org. units.

Hi all,
I have to obtain a list of employees which come under a selected org. unit. This org. unit could be a main org. unit which contains subordinate org. units under which an employee resides. Can anyone tell me how to do this.

Shift Org unit to another Org unit

Hi Experts,
I am trying to move one orgnaizational unit to another Org unit. The case is given below:
Orgniazational Unit : "Stb Std" > under source : "INJ" org unit. and also I want to make it with effect from 01/07/2011.
Cost Center is not inherited of "INJ" org unit.
Emp with position is already assigned under "Stb Std" unit.
I want to delimit the unit on said date in destination Org unit "CQA".
When i am delimiting the "Stb std" unit on 01/07/2011, it is not maintianing any previous record history.
I am expecting below mentioned records after moving unit to destination:
Org unit : "STB STD" under source unit :"INJ" , Start Date :01/01/01999 , End date : 30/06/2011
Org unit : "STB STD " under destination unit : "CQA" , Start Date : 01/07/2011, End date : 31/12/9999
I want to keep relationship of positions and cost center as it is.
Kindly help me to resolve it.

I want to maintain the history also. where i can see that history? I have checked in Relationship infotype but i didn't get it.
I have tried to delimit it but the object is no longer due to delimit.

Org unit relation ship periods

Dear All,
Scenario:-
I have created a root or unit,under this root org unit i have created additional org units but the validity period box contains to validity periods are there.
organisational unit :
Link text string :
The above two will be displayed as Object period and relationship period on the screen.
Here my doubt is if i enter the date for organisational unit beyond the root organisational unit its allowing but in case of link text string(relationship period) its not allowing.
can any body explain the logic behind this issue.

Hi,
System will allow you to create Any number of Org units as the sys doesnot know which is the root org unit , Sub unit but when your maitaing relation ship it will check based the relation your goping to assign.

Org unit Hierarchy structure between two Key date s

Hello Friends,
We have an issue with displaying HR Org unit hierarchy structure between two calendar months.
The BI Report has a selection parameter to select Org unit hierarchy , Calendar month From and Calendar month To
The BI Report is to display the no.of sick absence days for employees in a chosen Org unit hier.
Employee A had a sick absence of 5 days in the month 04.2011 in the Org unit X . The same employee had a sick absence of 4 days in 05.2011.The Org unit X then delimit in 05.2011 , the Org unit X is no longer in Org structure from 05.2011.
When we run the report for 04.2011 to 04.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under Correct Org unit ie X with correct Org structure .
When we run the Report for 05.2011 to 05.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under hierarchy Org unit Not assigned which is OK .
But the issue is when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05.2011 , The employee A absence days 9 (5 +4 ) showing under Not assigned Org unit hierarchy structure which is the latest Org unit .
When I deactivate the Org unit hierarchy and choose tech name of Org unit , It is showing correct Org unit key
But The user would like to see 5 days under org unit X and 4 days under Not assigned with Correct Org unit hier structure when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05..2011 .
We have a user Exit variable for the Key date in the Bex Report which seems to be taking only one date at any time .
Is there any way to get the correct figures under Org unit hier structure where employee had absence in when we put range of calendar months on a selection screen ?
Any advice appreciated.

Yes, we can display the same by using time dependent hierachy's i.e. your org is converted to time dependent so that respective employee shows with respective of time.

Hi,
You can try adding two more attributes to Org Unit as "Calender month from" and "Calender month to".
In these attributes maintain the validity period for the corresponding master data.
For example, in your case you can maintain the master data as:
Employee | Org Unit | Calender month from |Calender month to | sick absence
A | X | 4.2011| 4.2011 | 5 days
A |    | 5.2011 | 05.2011 | 4 days
And in report use variables for Calender month from" and "Calender month to".
Hence, when user executes the report with selection as:
Calender month from" = 04.2011
"Calender month to"    = 05.2011
The data will be read from master data based on these selections along with key date and report will show output as expected.
Employee | Org Unit | Calender month from |Calender month to | sick absence
A | X | 4.2011| 4.2011 | 5 days
A |    | 5.2011 | 05.2011 | 4 days

How to find the all the org units of chief org unit

Hi All,
i have one cheif org unit which belongs to IT. i Just need to take all the org units into one internal table upto last org unit.
ex: 500000 is the chief org unit then we check that belongs to taht
550000 and 560000
and agian 550000 is having or units
556000 and 557000 ....
now requirement is now i input on 500000 on selection--screen and i need to get
550000
556000
557000
560000
I used evaluation path as o-o and used call function 'HRCM_ORGSTRUC_INFO_TABLE_GET'.
but able to get only the just next level org units.ie. 550000 and 560000 Not others ..So is there any way where we can find all the org units that comes under the MAIN ORG UNIT 5000000.

Use the FM: RH_STRUC_GET with the evaluation path : ORGEH.
If you are still not able to get the required results,then go to Tcode: OOAW and find the suitable evalution path for your requirement.

Org. Unit - Sub org Unit relationship.

Hi Gurus,
I could not see the suborg units under the root org unit when I used the relationship, belongs to. But I could see them when I used the relationship reports to. Which one is the correct relationship between an org unit and a suborg unit?

A/B 002Is line supervisor of
That is if you map the sub org unit to root org then u need to assign
B002 --Is line supervisor of
(meaning:root org unit is the supervisor of sub org unit)
Top Down approach
if you assigning the root orgunit to sub orunit then
A002 reporting line to.
(meaning:sub org unit reporting to root org unit)

Read data from org unit

Hi,
I'm looking for a fm which gives me the data (e.g. address...) from an org unit in ppoma. I have the object id of this org unit.
I was not able to find a good fm to read the address and email and so on, means: the data you see for the org unit if you navigate from the org unit in ppoma to the details of the org unit via the menu.
Can anybody give me a hint!

RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS
BBP_USER_GET_DETAIL
BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_ORG_FROM_USER - To find the Users Org Unit.
RH_STRUC_GET - To find the Org Unit and its higher Org units till the root.
Evaluation Path is O-O.
To find the list of users under that particular Org unit
Please use the function module BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_ORG. You have to pass the Org Ids in the parameter START_OBJECTS. Then USER_TAB will give you all the users.

Just run this FM
BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_ORG
2.click on START_OBJECTS
3. Under OT just type O and under OBJID provide the Org Unit Number for ex 50000123
4.Click on Back Button and Execute
5. Under Export Parameters you wil find a internal table called "USER_TAB" with list of entries
6.Click on that , there you will find the list of users under that particular Org unit
