Activity in the workcenter

Hi All,
After releasing a produciton order, I changed the the workcenter in the routing of the material.
Then I re-read the master data to reflect the changes I made in the routing. But the activities are not updated in the production orde, it is showing the activities from the old workcenter. why?

Hi Anil
There is a slight misunderstanding here
At the time of production order creation ,Master BOM & master Routing of the header material are copied in the production order
Work centre data is again directly used only in the routing and not in the production order
If you Re read the master data what happens is again only BOM & Routing are re read and not the work centre data
So if you want the change to reflect you have to make the change in the master routing ,so when you re read then you can expect the change

Dear Mr.Samarth,
Try with this T codes.
KS01,KS02 - Create & Change Cost centre Respectively.
KL01,KL02 - Create & Change Activity Type.
KP26 - Activity Output/Prices.
In CR01 while creating a work centre,you will be assigning a cost centre and activity types defined & valid for that cost centre.

Problems in creation of activity with the folder relationship...

Hi People,
I need to create the activity adding the campaign in the RELATIONSHIP folder.
To create the activity, I am using the BAPI BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI, but there is the problem: I can´t add the campaign at the folder RELATIONSHIP of transaction CRMD_BUS2000126. Is it possible to create this?
If not, Is there the other function that do this?

I'm using two tables
TWDATA
EVENT
From TWDATA I'm pulling the fields TWDATA.OrderNumber and TWDATA.DisbursementDate
From EVENT I'm pulling the fields EVENT.EventCode and EVENT.CompletedDate
The two tables are linked by OrderNumber.

You'll need to execute /CFM1 and /CFM2 whenever you have NEW RELEVANT MATERIALS for the SCM.
When you have this, you can generate a new version of the already active IM and activate it via /CFM2. This will transfer only the newly created materials.
After this, you'll need to run the same operations for your transaction data, since the existing /CFM1 selection and active IM do not include these materials.
My recommendation is that you schedule a daily or weekly job for the involved objects. This is the sequence SAP recommends you to run:

Create a new job in /SM36.
Steps should include, for each object:
a) RIMODGEN - IM creation
b) RIMODAC2 - IM activation
Since you'll be running this job periodically, it's nice to also add to your job report RIMODDEL, that delete the useless old inactive versions of the IMs from table CIF_IMOD.

Adding an "activity" via the contacts object failing

Greetings.
I unfortunately have not been able to attend the SDK class yet, but have been doing pretty good with it until this problem. I found example code that shows how to do it and I createad a vb project with just that code in it. The connection to the DB is OK because when I test with the contact.update portion of the example it works fine. If it hits contact.add it blows with "Object reference not set to aninstance of an object".

As I debug it, it is definitely the "vcontact.add" statement that crashed.

The reason it bombs out is because you adding unecaserraly. Think of it like this, the first line is always for free. So you just have to give the details for the first contact. If you want to add a second contact then you say "add". So add will give you a extra line.
try this sample code, this works perfect. This will add one contact to a bp that exists. If you want to add a second contact then after oBP.ContactEmployees.Position = "Consultant" write two these extra lines OBP.ContactEmployees.Add() ' extra line

IPhone 4S could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable

If you got the "scary" message that you could not activate iPhone 4S neither by Wi-Fi or iTunes, I want to share my experience:
I decided to reset my iPhone 4S, and used "Erase All Content and Settings" under the reset menu (Settings/General/Reset), I was hoping that the erasing just does that, but for me the nightmare started!
I was taken to the activation screens, and begun with the welcome one, choose language, choose location services (later on it also disappears) and selecting Wi-Fi and/or iTunes for activation.
I chose a Wi-Fi network the process started, and gave me a message that it will take about three minutes to activate iPhone, few minutes later a screen with this message appears: "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable."
Then, I decided to try the activation using iTunes…
Using iTunes, after few minutes, it shows the following message: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
I tried several times in both ways, trying 4 different Wi-Fi networks and 3 different computers in the whole process, and I was going desperate! I started to find out some info about this trouble over the Internet, and guess what? I was not alone! But I did not find any answer or solution either!
Finally, I joined Apple Support Communities, and started searching with no good luck at all, until I found (many hours later) this old (2009) solution:
+Do a DFU recovery:+
+1. Open iTunes.+
+2. Connect the iPhone+
+3 Press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple icon appears (ignore the red slider if it shows).+
+4. Continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes sees your phone in recovery mode.+
+5. Follow the prompts to restore the iPhone.+
(THANKS A LOT!!! modular747 and Easily Easy, you saved me!!!)
Then I suggest everyone to use this, of course it will erase everything, but you may be able to recover your data from your last backup, or you can also choose to configure iPhone as a new cell phone.
The process took me about 92 minutes, but it was worth it, now I own an unlocked iPhone 4S (it was an AT&T when I purchased from Apple Store in November) and is working perfectly!

I was using a GEVEY sim unlock with iOS 4.1 since (almost) last 2 yrs now in India on Vodafone. But as Apple designed it, there were several apps including Whatsapp, Facebook, Gmail and LinkedIn that stopped functioning due to the iOS updates and the subsequent (I guess 'mandatory' App updates). Finally yesterday I thought of updating to the iOS 6. As soon as I did that, I have been left with no choice but to see the above message.
The process by jhidrowoh starts corectly but iTunes doesnt give you the option of restore only ... it is forcefully clubbed with update and the button that is displayed in the dialog box that appears on pressing 'Restore' in teh recovery mode, shows 'Restore and Update' and as soon as the iPhone is restored, it automatically updates the iOS as well to iOS 6 and hence leaves you hanging in the stale situation.
Guys ... Need the data desperately ... Can anybody please help???

Activation of the activity fails u0096 no source files in the active workspace

Dear All,
Im working on a NWDI installation since last month. The NWDI server (NW2004s) has been installed and configured with the following parameters:
Some Details:
- Java Stack on SPS 12
- No complete Developer Workplace, we only use the Studio (SPS 12)
- OS: WIN 2003
- DB: Oracle 10g
- SDK: 2 SDK, Standard Edition x64 1.4.2_15
Installation Usages Types: DI, AS Java, EP Core, EP (EP for the Visual Composer)
Performed configuration steps:
- adaptation of VM parameter in the Visual Admin
- patched the NWDI Server and the Studio from SPS 9 to support package stack 12 + available single patches
- run the template installer => NWA with type DI Allinone run all post installation Steps for DI, CBS, CMS, DTR
- Oracle Parameters changed, User and Authorizations created and assigned (UME, J2EE Security roles, DTR => ACL List), SLD (Creation of a new Landscape), Configuration of the CBS with the VA
- Configuration of the Studio (SAP J2EE Engine (fill in the NWDI engine), Proxy Settings, Development Configuration Pool)
Development Steps for an example:
- Creation of a new software product (SLD)
- Namespace reservation on SLD => Application Context Root, Development Component Name
- Created a Domain and a Track on CMS
- Attached all Software components to the track (my own dc, SAP-JEE, SAP_Buildt, SAP_JTechs)
- Check-In the Software Components on Transport studio => CMS
- Moved the development configuration into Studio
- Created a ear- and a web-project => Display a JSP File (Its the same example like in the SAP Course TADM10)
- Check-in the activity under Open activities => Activate
My problem appears during the check-in phase in the studio. I was able to check-In the source files in to the inactive Workspace on the DTR, but the activation of the activity fails. (I thought that the build process runs automatically after the activation - also the movement from the source files from the inactive to the active workspace?).
I received no error message, but I cant find any source files in active workspace. The activity seems to be pending. I locate the request in the CBS, the request state is failed regarding the request type activate.
At the moment there is no separate runtime system assigned to the NWDI System.
Questions:
1. Have I forgotten an important configuration step?
2. Can I use the NWDI Server also as a runtime environment (DEV System)?
Please let me know if somebody has an idea.

Error in denesting activity for the luggage trading items.

Hello experts,
This has reference to the Denesting activity for the luggage trading items in SAP. There has been an error in the basic configuration for this activity, as the denested stock is being incorrectly valued & consequently a wrong impact is being posted to the P&L. The actual landed cost for the nested item is not flowing to the denested items.
We have been correcting this manually till now through an FI JV. However we need to correct the system urgently as this has a serious implication & the impact is considerably high. E
Procedure for De-nesting:
The procedure for De-nesting is being carried out at BLL location & at branches. Transaction code used for the same is MB1A. Two separate documents are prepared for de-nesting.
In MB1A, first document is being entered for Movement type 201 for depleting Nested item stock (Ref doc no 65489076) & subsequent document entered for movement type 202 for creating de-nested item stock (Ref doc no 6548769659).
The MAP for Nested Item is correctly being updated with each receipt through Mov Type 101. However the MAP for denested item codes is not being updated since the stock creation is through mov type 202. The Old MAP updated at the time of code creation remains stagnant. Thus the denested items are being valuated with an old MAP rate.
In normal condition, the value of both 201 & 202 should match. As a result, the gap between the two kept on increasing & the inventory gets overvalued. The entries are posted to 8765987 (Consum-Intrnl-TMu2013 Dom) GL or 8765988 (Consum-Intrnl-TM-Imp) GL.
Reference Accounting doc no 3025689745 & 1589645896 for above referred material docs.

Activating ML is necessary because in my customer's company sell goods at planed price then revaluate value of inventories and COGS at actual price in the end of each of period. So we decide to use standard price control for trading goods and active Material ledger.
end of period, we run period procedure of ML for trading goods, we expect allocation different amount, revaluate inventories and consumption. Run revaluation step of costing run in ML, we revaluate all ending inventories and consumption transaction except billing transaction. So, we think that we need to run Ke27 to revaluate all line item document in COPA from billing.
so anybody to help me revaluate consumption amount from billing at actual price in end of period?

Make the accounts on a computer. I believe the iPhone is limited
