ACTIVITY NETWORK VIEW

Question

Are there any more options available in regards to the
activity Network view. This seems very limited as is and I
believe even P3 had more options. The activities and
relationships are not drawn well at all (as vectors?) and
we'd like to be able to distinguish activity boxes based
on codes. i.e. enable each activity to have a unique color
based on a user code. Beyond the gantt view, the network
view is a key output for us and P6 is not helping in this
regard.
Your comments would be
appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge the only thing you can do
is change the layout/detail of the boxes and that is
very limited. You can change the color, but its an
"all or nothing" feature (no breakout by codes, WBS,
etc). I'm sure its under "future enhancement
request".
I like the Activity
Network layout as well. I can, however, create
different colors using filters based on codes in the
Gantt Chart. Tedious, but it can be done.<br

Of course these features are only in
Client. The web doesnt even provide the Activity
Network and the Gantt chart is current bar, critical
and baseline only. No flexibility.
