Activity Report for Collaboration Rooms

Hi,
Is there some kind of Activity Report only for Collaboration Rooms ? Like we have Portal Activity Report for entire portal.
Please give me your suggestion. Helpful answer are appriciated.

Hi Prakash,
You can run the room usage analysis to check how often particular rooms have been used in a specific period. Please check out the following page on help.sap.com:

You might also have a look at the Room Inventory List which is linked on the page mentioned above.

Create an Activity Report for Current Week

I would like to create a activity report for the current week. The trick is that if the weekday is Wednesday or earlier (Sunday being the first day of the week), the report shows last week's activities; but if the weekday is Thursday or later (Saturday being the last day of the week), the report shows the current weeks activities.
I have a filter that works in Access but does not seem to work in Siebel. It does just what I explained above:
Between CDate(Int((IIf(Weekday(Now())<=4,Now()-(6+Weekday(Now())),Now()-(Weekday(Now())-1))))) And CDate(Int((IIf(Weekday(Now())<=4,Now()-Weekday(Now()),Now()+(7-Weekday(Now()))))))

This gave me the sunday of the week. You should be able to modify this format for your purposes.

Yes, we just started using Collaboration and this is our first requirement.
<b>Which roles do u have?</b>
I have all the required roles (Super Admin, Content Management, Collaboration, Collaboration Room Creation).
I know that these features are available in NW04 SP 17 without any limitations. I have reviewed SAP Notes 707730, 711093, 709354 and 946470 also.
This problem is with only a few Collaboration iViews.
I am able to create Rooms, Enter Rooms, Receive Invitation e-mails without any problem.
Any suggestions about any possible missing configurations ?

"404 Error - The requested resource does not exist" found in portal for Collaboration room

Hi Experts,
I am trying to resolve this issue since a week but not able to solve it, so i need your help.
The Problem is when i assign a collaboration room to a user, the room is assigned but when the user clicks on the room link it gives the "404 Error - The requested resource doesn't exist". But if a new room is created and give access to the user, the user is able to open the new room through the link and view the documents.
The Unique thing about the error is, it doesn't occur for every user it happens with few users, since I am the super_admin I am able to view all the rooms without getting such "404 error" even for once.
I have tried by setting up all the permissions to the room and also assigning Everyone role to the rooms, still the problem persists.
I am unable to find a solution for this, so need your help.

Issue running a User Activity Report for Lync

When trying to run a User Activity Report, I am receiving the below error
An error occurred during client rendering.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset 'CallList'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
@_Endtime is not a parameter for procedure CdrP2PSessionList.
Any ideas on this error?

Activity reports for actual activity

I like the new reports feature of the VLM, but would it not be cool if it was able to trend the actual programming activity of the users, and not just how long the license was checked out?
Let's say that if there was no activity (defined for example as not even a mouse movement in any of the IDE's windows) for n minutes, then the system would unregister the license as in use (license-wise it could still be checked out, but not as in activity).
Sure, we could use other tools for this, and some people might want to make it optional - but as long as the report feature is there already, would not this little change make it quite a bit more interesting?

Thanks for your feedback! I agree that this data would provide a potentially interesting report for admins. This would be a feature of the application software itself (like LabVIEW, CVI, etc).
I will record this idea as a suggestion for those teams.

Inivitation link for collaboration room fails

Hi,
I installed a SAP Netweaver Portal 7.0 (SP18) with KM & Collaboration.
The URL of a added collaboration room is:
/irj/index.html?NavigationTarget=CollaborationConnector://portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms/<roomid>/workset
If I try to open this url I get a "page not found (404)" error page.
If I change the url to:
/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=CollaborationConnector://portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms/<roomid>/workset
it works fine.
I couldn't find a way to change the url in the portal system administration.
Does anyone have a solution or workaround for that ?

Hi Patricio,
I already found the error by myself:
I changed the index.html in http://<portal> and http://<portal>/irj/ with a reload (location.replace) to redirect to anonymous access automatically. This generated the above error. So it was my own fault.
I fixed this in http://<portal>/irj/ and now it works correctly.

Portal Activity Reports for multiple groups

Hi,
Can the report display the count of users belonging to multiple groups or would it have to be created seperately for each group. I have tried to use wild cards and commas and nothing worked, the field does not accept more than one valid group name to be entered. Any ideas how to work around this without having to create a different report for different groups?

Hi EAmin,
You can only show information about users who belong to a specific group and not multiple groups. But if you want to show users in multiple groups, you can create a new group (say temp) and add the other groups to temp. Now, configure the report to display users in group temp.

Activity reporting for document explorer

Hi All,
I am looking into various options of activity reporting inside document explorer iView. We have various folders and subfolders inside /document folder where a lot of users are accessing the documents (Read or edit) on reguloar basis. Is there any possibility of finding the usage of each folders inside /document folder i.e. how many users read/edited the documents/folders in fix time frames.
Any inputs on this will be highly appreciated.

Activity report for end-user ?

Hi,
One of my customers wish to get information about the use of it´s application. He is not the adminsitrator of the workspace.
As an administrator of the workspace you can run reports about activity for applications/users.
I would like to build it as a part of the application of my customer.
Can anyone point me in the right direction ?
Any reaction will be appreciated.

B : Backflush
Goods receipt, goods issue and activity backflush.

Activity Report Activation for iViews

Hello all;
I want to activate the standard activity report for my EP 7.0 SPS 9.
I have already activated the Service Configuration parameters and restarted the services.
After that I have copied the activity report iView Template and added some special iViews to that template. I configured the interval for the report.
When I'm going to check the report iView in a preview, I'm not getting any results.
Do I have to configure something else? I have seen somewhere in help.sap.com ->Configuration of Monitor Hits for an iView, but I'm not able to see these parameters in the configuration objects.
Can someone help me?

My problem is, that I'm able to see sometimes some result in the Activity Report iView and sometimes I'm not able to see new results. Is there a Bug ?

View Generated workset for a Collaboration Room

I am aware that a workset gets created under a folder with a unique id for each collaboration room that is created.
How can I view this workset and the iViews that are created on it?
Example: In this folder is a workset.
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms/b004fe38-9621-2a10-2fb9-ac627d60092a/workset
How can I view it's contents?

You are correct about the browse into function for normal worksets and pages and iViews.
However, this doesn't work for the worksets generated for collaboration rooms.

Oracle Tables used by Collaboration Rooms

I want to create MS Access reports that show the member lists for collaboration rooms.
We have converted to Active Directory so that data is no longer in the ume_strings table.
What Oracle database tables can I find information for the collaboration rooms.
I have looked at the .kmc tables, but I do not see any of this information

To answer the first question: This would have to be done in Java - that's the supported way within the portal.
I understand your restrictions, but there is another reason against using the portal databases tables directly: Their structure is not documented and may change between SPs without further notice (and, in reality, also does). Therefore the approach - just for not being able to develop something - to access the DB directly is all but clean.
If a company is running a portal, it should be able to have access to Java developers creating stuff like this; whether employed developers or freelancers.
