Activity report/ user trace of a user on EP 7.0

Hello All,
How can we get activity details/ report of a particular user in EP like
1) which all transactions he executed
2) which all authorization objects he have accessed ?
3) how the user got locked ?
4) user comparison
5) failed authorization objects like su53 tx screen
6) What all modifications done by user?
7) Which are the users logged in between two particular dates and time
8) Compare two users, roles, profiles etc like we do in SUIM tx
Does any one have an Idea about  answers of  above questions ? Please let me know the details of this.  I will give full marks

Hi
Standard reporting function in the portal provides following information:
● Information about the number of users who logged on during a specified period of time
● This type of portal activity report also displays a graphic showing the change in the number of users logged on over time.
● Information about the users who logged on
● Information about the number of users who visited each page and iView
For rest of your requirements, you will need to create custom reports.

  • Portal Activity Report

    Hi,
I am working on EP 7.0 SP 18. I have created an Activity Report iView to track which users have used my WebDynpro application. My Wedynpro application is on a page and the Monitor User property of the page is also turned on.
I am able to see the data for some days but it does not show any data for the later days.
What could be the problem? The raw data gets saved in the portal database. Is there any limit to the data that can be stored.I configured my Service to save data every 5 minutes.
    Pls Help.
    Warm Regards
    Saurabh

Try taking the report every hour or so Rather than every 5 minutes .. as far as i know there is No limit to the amount of portal activity that you can store other than the actual size of the database ..
other than that i am pasting a few links which you might know but might still be of some use to you . ..

  • Question of activity reports

    hi, all
I have read from the portal online help Link:[http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/47/873ca0c84a199ce10000000a42189d/content.htm]
that there are two data collection type for portal objects
Monitor Hits: If set to true, data is collected about the number of people who viewed this page/iVIews, default true
Monitor Users (pages only): If set to true, data about the users who visited this page is collected, default false.
I am not very sure about the second one, is this mean the information of "which user visit which iView" will not not be collected, but only "which page visit by which user" will be collected?
If so, how the activity report of the total impression of each user come out?
Can any expert explain to me ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
The Portal Activity Report collects the information about users only for pages, and not for iViews. The reason for not collecting the information also for iviews was due to the assumption that usually in correct content design, iViews are located inside pages, and thus once you have the page, you know what iViews are inside this page.
Collecting less data at the end, helps for better performance (especially if it is considered duplicated data, and hence redundant).
In case you would like to collect more data about the rendered content, that is not provided by the Portal Activity Report, you can use the Activity Data Collector instead, and configure by yourself all the data you would like to collect. This feature is flexible, and is written in order to provide customers the ability to decide themselves what they would like to collect.
You can read more about in under:

  • Get user statistic by abap user group?

    Hi,
I need to get number of users visited portal by abap user group?
Is it possible to do so using portal activity reports?
Activity report has only option for user separating by abap rols.
    great thanks for all.

Not quite the intent I think.
If we view the hierarchy of nodes as a way to manage a hierarchy of resources specific to your program (think of hierarchical contexts) then I want to be able to put/get objects by key (and not just strings as keys). I don't see any API for this so I would propose augment set/getUserData with getResources() that returns an observable map unless there is another way to do this now.

  • Can the Portal Activity Report show unique users per page?

    Hello all
I guess this is a rather simple question, but can someone tell me if the portal activity report can show a count of unique users per page per week for instance?
Or will it just show which users have visited the page in a list without aggregating them to a number? And if the users are aggregated to a number, is it only uniwue users that are counted for the given period?
    Regards,
    Martin

  • How to view the Users in the Portal Activity Report

    Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to view the Report of users who have logged in a specific time. For Example I would like to view the users who have logged in between 9.00 am and 9.15 am. Is it possible to view mentioning the country name?
Please explain me in detail how to view the Report.
    Thnx in Advance
    cheers,
    Murali

    hi,
You can certainly do it for hourly basis but i am not sure whether it could be done quarter an hour basis. Also The portal nodes within a cluster can be in different time zones, yet the activity data from all nodes are aggregated together and reported together. To enable the reporting of hourly data from different time zones, portal activity reports display hourly data based on the GMT time zone.
    Do see the documentation

  • Guest users in Portal Activity Report

    Hi All,
We have implemented Portal Activity Report in our portal. We are tracking only the pages and we have set the property Authentication Scheme to default for all the pages.
The reports are working fine except for the fact that the reports are showing up large number of anonymous users logging in as Guest for e.g. Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3 etc. Our landscape has no Anonymous users.
Can anyone tell me why the report is showing up large number of Guest users (Type - Anonymous Users) though we donu2019t have any anonymous Users?
How to get rid of these Anonymous Guest users in the Portal Activity Report?
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    Adren D'Souza

    Hi Adren,
The AR shows what it gets.
The first posibility, is somewhere anonymous users do have access to content or some operations are being considered as anonymous.
I suggest to check all the properties which should disable the anonymous, whether there is any content which is exposed as anonymous:
1)Search the roles which are assigned to Guest user.
2)Make sure that the "Guest" user is disabled.
The second possibility u2013 there is an old data in DB tables.
What type of report are we discussing? Is this the "Details about the users who logged on" report?
If it is, check the WCR_* DB tables whether there any u2018au2019 type users.
If there is,  I would recommend  you to delete those entries ("WHERE USERTYPE = 'a'), it could be the old data, before you have applied the note.

  • Portal Activity Reports - Anonymous Users

    Hello Experts,
we are using the Portal Activity Report Iview because we need to know how many users are logging during the week.
But the report created shows a lot of ANONYMOUS USERS logged...
We don't have any anonymous settings on our contents, so I cannot understand which could be the cause...

  • Get User Activity Report programmatically

    Hello,
is there a documented way to get user activity reports from Azure AD? From the management portal, I can see that it sends a simple POST request to https://manage.windowsazure.com/ActiveDirectory/Reporting/GetAllUserSignInsReportContent
but I don't see this documented anywhere.

    Hi,
Thank You for your message, this is feedback that we hear loud and clear for sure! keep an eye out for future update around this as we are discussing options around this at the moment and so you may see updates in the near future.
    Thanks,

  • Anonymous Users in Activity Reports

    Hi All,
When i checked the activity reports in User administration, I see that there are some Anonymous users logged in.
Can somebody explain me who they are and how do we identify these anonymous users ?
Note: We don't have any anonymous logins enabled...Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I don't know exactly how the PAR are generated, but maybe the report is only looking into the authentication scheme necessary to access the iView. By default, some default-iViews from SAP (DTN, Portal Favorites, etc) is set to anonymous.
I guess that even if you have anonymous access disabled (Guest user disabled), the used authentication scheme (anonymous) will be responsible that you see "Anonymous" Users in the reports.
You can try to set the scheme to "default" or higher and verify if the anonymous users are eliminated from your reports (but his will take some time).
