Activity Reports - specify report content?

Hi,
We are running SP12 and would like to use Activity Reports.
I have read the topics about the bug concerning the AGGREGATIONLEVEL (only hour works), but what about specifying report content?
I have only been able to get rows when I <b>DON'T</b> specify specific iviews or pages - but I'm only interested in certain pages.
Is there a known bug about this issue?
If not - can someone explain what you have done to make it work.

I checked this topic again. I have some interesting information. Later on I am planning to prepare a new document. Therefore: thanks for asking the question; it was very interesting to find some answers and to drill down in WWI process (which is quite complex).
Ok: The values you have mentioned are part of a domain in SAP (check report symbol table of EHS using transaction se11). If you generate a "where used list" you will find some Includes. One is related to "Constants" and in one other the "Constants" are used (here in a Form routine)
Therefore comming back to your list:

Any of these report types does have a "linked" value. Now it is interesting to detect that this value is used as "part" of the report symbol. You can check this by investigating table "ESTLS".
Example: if you check SAP online help regarding e.g."Repeating group" and an example you find this one:
<11BRG001(M,SAP_EHS_1015_003;1-3)>
<01G1015003AD(P;1)>
<11ERG001>
Now the value "11" is the value as part if the domain relating to "Standard Repeating Group".

Therefore the value of "IF Repeating Group" = 15 (refer to content of the domain)
If you check the entries of ESTLS you can detect which report does have which report symbol and report symbol type and you can therefore detect which report symbol types are used and which are not.
Actually the type:
Comments
is not supported by SAP (therefore If my debug result is correct: even if you try to generate a report symbol with "link" tothis value; you wil not recieve a result). But in a parallel thread this topic has been discussed. So we can hope/assume that may be SAP will deliver something.
I am sorry to say that I will take some time to "drill" deeper. But if I am finished I plan to share the result.

Activation the Standard reports for SAP CRM IN BW 3.5 Version

I have Activated the Satadard Reports for CRM Campaign, Lead, Opportunity in BW 3.5 Business Content
But I don't find the any single Standard Report in BEX.
I followed these Steps ;

did u try to see that reports in metadata repository
login to bi system
enter RSA1
on the left panel select METADATA REPOSITORY
select LOCAL OBJECTS
then hit Query
TRY TO find ur REPORTS WITH TECHNICAL NAME
if it exists here than u shuld be able to seee in infocube.
if that doesnot make sense
go back to LOCAL OBJECTS SCREEN
hit INFOCUBE
locate ur infocube and select it
now everything with respect to infocube active and available is visible
all char catalog, keyfig catalog, queries etc....

How to open Crystal Reports from Business Content Ext BW

I have activated 0CR_FIAA_M20_Q0007 Crystal Reports from Business Content Ext BW and I have configurated BW_Publisher services in BW but I do´t see reports in /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN.
I check RFC connection and it´s ok
Here I can´t get a role
and here I don´t see reports
Do I have to create special role with especial authorization?
How do I save this Crystal reports in a Rol?
How do I open this Report ?
I check Ingo Blog BusinessObjects and SAP - Publishing of Crystal Reports Part 1 of 3
but I think, I don´t have some configuration.

Where do we specify Report category in HR Adhoc query

Hi All.
We have a standard query which shows a selection screen which is different in Production. When I went into the program behind the query and saw the report category, it is different in both the environments.
I am not able to find where do we specify report category in the HR adhoc query.
Can anyone please guide?
Also, how is this possible that a standard report has different report category in Development and production env. ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
There is no place in query, to maintain report category. Whenever an query is created, this table gets updated with default report category depending upon the LDB used. Now if you want to change this default screen to some other screen, then this is the only table where you can change the report category for that query or program.
According to me, you have to maintain this table only, if you want different report category, since there is no place in query where you can do this.

Hello Everybody,
I am using Sharepoint server 2013 , SQL Server 2012 SP1, PerfomancePoint and Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode.
I built one report in SSDTusing an Analysis Services Cube. This report has 3 parameters. So the idea is use Dashboard Designer to use this SSRS Report and connect it with some PP Filters.
The issue is that I am always obtaining "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
I have the following settings in the PP Report:
Server Mode: SharePoint Integrated
SharePoint Site: http://MySharrepointSite:PortNumber/sites/bicenter
Document library : Documents (selected from drop down, my report is deployed to document library)
Report : report.rdl
When I select the report from drop down list its giving the error in a pop up message box as "Unable
to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
I have tried to use the most simple report, only with one parameter, but is always displaying the error above.
When I open the report directly from documents library its working fine and even it is working fine (
when I deployed the report) but the issue is parameters are not showing.
Any idea? Please help.

Hello Tom,
It should be "ReportServer" in the URL, not "ReportService".
In "Reporting Service Configuration Manager" look up the correct URL. Open Internet Explorer with right-mouse click => "Run as Administrator" and open the URL, this should work. Navigate to "Side setting" (on top right side),
go to tab "Security" and add your account with role "System Administrator". Afterwards you should be able to open the URL without running IE as admin.

Enable reporting of offensive content not working in sharepoint 2013 community site

i am trying to enable "Report to moderator option" in community site but when i checked option "Enable reporting of offensive content" in a community site settings and clicked Ok. I am getting an error "The file is not checked out.You
must first check out this document before making changes."
i am not sure why i am getting this error, the same thing works fine in other community site's i have created.
This community is a backup restore of another community site.
Is there any other way by which i can enable 'reporting of offensive content'.
Any pointer's to solve this will be helpful.

Enable the Reporting of Offensive Content feature
Note You must be a member of the Owners group to enable this feature.
On the Community tools web part on your community home page, click
Community settings.
Select the Enable reporting of offensive content check box.
Click OK.

There is a problem connectiong to the specified reporting Server SCCM 2012 SSRS

I'm Trying to install reporting services point SCCM 2012, I configured the
site system role without problems, but when I tried to configure the report options I get this error:
"There is a problem connectiong to the specified reporting, please check the conection and make sure SQL Reporting Service is running on the especified server. "
The reporting service is running on remote server, I'm using SQL SERVER 2008.
Two Questions:
1: Which is the cause of the error?
2: Which right permissions must have the reporting services point account?

Activity type price report

Pls advice a Activity type price report to get full fiscal years ( 12 period ) activity prices at one for all the activity type.

Crystal Reports 2008 - Report off of Active Directory

Hello,
I have found a few articles on how to do this, but they don't seem to follow my wizard.
Can someone provide a tutorial on how to create a Crystal Reports 2008 report against active directory?
I have been able to do the following so far:
1) Create new OLE DB (ADO) connection
2) From Provider, choose OLE DB Provider for Microsoft Directory Services.
3) The fields I have are Data Source, User ID, and Password.
- I do not have a field for "LOCATION" that is referenced in documentation I have found on here.
4) I enter my server.domain.com:389 for active directory, a valid username and password.
5) It seems to create the connection, and wants me to ADD COMMAND. I haven't been able to find a command that actually works online. Does anyone have one? I.e.: Employee and Supervisor names.

backing up a step or two, make sure that the username you are using has a domain alias infront of it, something like "mydomain\myusername" should be the correct format. even if you don't get an error when you create the connection it may be incorrect. when entering in a command is the only time it actually tries to authenticate against the AD server. If you make a mistake when entering in the original connection (anytime before the add command part) remember that you will need to exit out of Crystal Reports and come back in. the connection can not be remade or edited once entered.
Now, as for what to put into the query, you will probably need to talk with your windows AD administrators. the one I used for my organization was something like this (replace the stuff between the <> marks with your data):
SELECT samaccountname, sn, givenname, mail FROM 'LDAP://OU=<yourOU>,DC=<yourdomain1>,DC=<yourdomain2>'
remember you can not use * to get data, it seems to take what ever properties you directly name. if you need names of properties or items to call, I'd recommend a quick google search on LDAP SQL queries.

Scheduling of report publishing in Content Admin Workbench

Is it possible to schedule the publishing of Crystal Reports in the Content Adminstration Workbench? There is a "Scheduled Jobs" folder in the Operations pane but I can't figure out how to create a scheduled publishing job. I know I've seen this feature in earlier versions of the Integration Kit. Is it still available? If so, how do you set up a schedule?

no it is not possible to schedule. The schedule jobs as to do with possible steps in the Content Workbench - also explained in the installation guide / user guide for the SAP Integration Kit.

Recently I am designing several reports with BI contents. Since I am not so familiar with BI contents, I can only find the majarity of my reports, while for below reports, I can not find the corresponding content for them. Can any body give me some guide like which contents are suitable for those reports? Many thanks~

How to submit "active users" standard report using shell scripting

I want to submit the "Active Users" standard report in Sysadmin responsibility using a shell script.
I also want to pass a parameter named email to this..

Hi Bhaskar,
You can achieve this by shell scripting either by scripting via CONCSUB utility (invoked from OS) or you can use the FND_SUBMIT package (through PL/SQL package), and in the script itself you can create the outputs or any hardcode messages to a file, and then mail the output to your desired mail address.
If you use mail or mailx command using the OS utility then you can even send mail to external users which should not necessarily be a registered EBS users.
Google, Forum Search and metalink will provide you loads of articles on how to use CONCSUB and FND_SUBMIT packages.
