Actual Duration with collective confirmation

Dear experts
actual duration does not appear in confirmation Report CN48N when i confirm activity with collective confirmation CN27
and if possible i need the system to calculate automatically the actual duration when i entered actual start and finish dates

The table AFVV stores all the dates related information for the activity. Unfortuenately you can not get the actual duration directly, as such field does not exits. But you can use the following information to calculate it:
ISDD (actual start), IEDD (actual finish),
Alternative is use the function CXPS_CALC_FIELDS_FOR_ACT,
which you get the the actual duration too: CALCULATED- IDAUER (actual duration).

Prerequisites:
You can predefine values to identify confirmations and to determine default values in Conf. parameters for collective confirmation/fast entry (Customizing for Shop Floor Control by choosing Operations ® Confirmation ® Confirmation Parameters Collective Entry/Fast Entry):
    Identifying the confirmation
You can identify an individual confirmation either by the confirmation number or the order number/operation number.
    Suggest actual data
You can define whether and when (after entry, during saving) quantities (see Determining a Default for Yield) or activities are suggested. The default setting is that no quantities are suggested and activities are determined during saving. Personnel data and dates are always suggested.
Procedure:
    Choose Logistics ® Production ® Shop floor control ® Confirmation ® Enter ® For operation ® Collective entry.
    The screen for collective entry of confirmations appears.
    In this screen you can enter confirmations in a table (table control). You enter a new confirmation in each line. You can control the appearance of the table yourself.
You can change the type of confirmation identification during input. To do so choose Other view.
Enter all the data needed for the confirmations. Each line corresponds to a new confirmation. In this line you have all the fields that are available in single entry of a time ticket confirmation.
On the top line of the screen you can enter default values (for example unit of measure, personnel number) that are copied to all confirmations. Enter the values and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. You can save these default values for a specific user, so that they are preset the next time the user logs on. You can also delete these defaults.
With this function, you can let the system suggest actual data (quantities, activities, dates, personnel data). To do so, select the confirmations, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Propose actual data, set the indicator for the relevant actual data and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. This data overwrites data that you may have already entered.
    Save your confirmations.

To reach the Actual data screen for the selected confirmations choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Here you have the complete functionality of time ticket confirmation. From this screen you can go to the detail screens and to the goods movement overview. If several confirmation have been selected, you can switch between the individual confirmations.
Note
You can switch to the goods movement overview from the collective entry screen (choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Goods movements). In this screen the goods movements for the selected confirmations are displayed.
You can check and, if necessary, change the goods movements. When you go back to the collective entry screen, the GM indicator is set for the selected confirmations (goods movements for confirmations already determined). As soon as you save a confirmation, the goods movements are also posted.
For more information choose the GOODS MOVEMENT OVER VIEW.

Collective confirmation for operation

Hi expert
my requirement is below.
suppose in my maintenance order I have three operation
operation 1 with 8hrs 4 person with 2 hr each
operation 2 with 6 hrs 3 person with 2hr each
operation 3 with 4 hr 1person with 4hr
Ii go in IW48 collective confirmation there i do confirmation for only operation 1. save it
next time again I go in iw48 I expect remaining two operation should come in list as for first operation is finally complete.
but it not happens . it is display in list and shows worning meassage for operation 1 while doing again confirmation .
worning meassage is fine but I want even that operation should not come in list . only those operation who are not confirm that should only dispaly in list
how to do this ??

this status is system status for order right ?
what happens ......my orderr is having three operation outof this 1 is finaly completed and two are partially . So my order status remains PCNF . so now if I put PCNF status in said field then also all three operation get displayed in next screen
where I want only two operation for which confirmation is not done that should display
one more thing .. ....................when I put selection criteria in IW48 ,in next screen I can able to see all confirmation no and order no matching the criteria .then I select confirmation no and click on ALL ACTUAL DATA button. this showns me conifrmation details and shows error for those finaly completed
Is this right way to make collective confirmation ??

Planned and actual consumption for each confirmation

Dear All,
There is a production order. it has two operations. i have made three confirmations of each operation for that order. now i want to see the planned and actual consumption for each confirmation. how is it possible.
However i know that on order we can see planned and actual consumption but it is for total order but i want to see planned and actual consumption for each confirmation. Actually client wants that on 2nd confirmation what is planned consumption and what they consumed on actual. thanks

In standard SAP this type of report not be there, but u can make it by using BOM,Confirmation table, & material document table.
Use AFRU to get posted document no for confirmation & detail by joining it with MSEG by mblnr & MAZHR.
now u get plan component qty by using mast & stpo if ur bom not changed in Production order , if in order component may be change then use afko & resb table & by comparing base qty or order qty & confirmation qty get plan component qty for confirmation.

Rework with partail confirmation

Hi Friends,
i see almost all the threads related to Rework suggests triggering reowrk process( Adding ROS to Existing prod order or Creating a new rework order) with trigger points with PCNF Status.
Howvere if idn in actual business there could be N different reasons for the PCNF opartion status.
It is possible to set opartion status to PCNF with posting of full yild wty ( rework / scrap 0) .
If we set PCNF status to opartion with co11n confirmation where Reowrk is 0 and i find Rework order is cretaed with default qty of 1 automatically which is not ocrrect.
How to make sure Rework order is only created or ROs is only inserted *if Rework Qty is not Zero in Co11n.
any otherbeter way to handle this?
Can reason of varaince be used here to trigger the suer status and then use user status to trigger the trigger point?

COLLECT is used to create unique or compressed datsets. The key fields are the default key fields of the internal table itab .
If you use only COLLECT to fill an internal table, COLLECT makes sure that the internal table does not contain two entries with the same default key fields.
If, besides its default key fields, the internal table contains number fields (see also ABAP/4 number types ), the contents of these number fields are added together if the internal table already contains an entry with the same key fields.
If the default key of an internal table processed with COLLECT is blank, all the values are added up in the first table line.
If you specify wa INTO , the entry to be processed is taken from the explicitly specified work area wa . If not, it comes from the header line of the internal table itab .
After COLLECT , the system field SY-TABIX contains the index of the - existing or new - table entry with default key fields which match those of the entry to be processed.
Notes
COLLECT can create unique or compressed datasets and should be used precisely for this purpose. If uniqueness or compression are unimportant, or two values with identical default key field values could not possibly occur in your particular task, you should use APPEND instead. However, for a unique or compressed dataset which is also efficient, COLLECT is the statement to use.
If you process a table with COLLECT , you should also use COLLECT to fill it. Only by doing this can you guarantee that
the internal table will actually be unique or compressed, as described above and
COLLECT will run very efficiently.
If you use COLLECT with an explicitly specified work area, it must be compatible with the line type of the internal table.

Performance
The cost of a COLLECT in terms of performance increases with the width of the default key needed in the search for table entries and the number of numeric fields with values which have to be added up, if an entry is found in the internal table to match the default key fields.
If no such entry is found, the cost is reduced to that required to append a new entry to the end of the table.
A COLLECT statement used on a table which is 100 bytes wide and has a key which is 60 bytes wide and seven numeric fields is about approx. 50 msn (standardized microseconds).

Actual duration is overwritten by quantity field

Hi all,
we have a problem in CRM service. When entering the times/dates in the confirmation, the actual duration
is overwritten by the quantity. What happens is this:
we enter the start date/time, and enddate/time
we enter the actual duration, and give enter.
After this, we enter the quantity, and now the actual duration is overwritten by the quantity field.
Anybody an idea how to solve this?

In the Confirmation Data section of the screen there is a Actual Duration field (IDAUR) where a manual entry can be made.
On Total Confirmation Data section of IW41 screen there is a calculated Actual Duration field (IDAUV). This duration is calculated as lenfth of time from ACTUAL START to ACTUAL FINISH Date/time. These fields are visable on operation DATES tab. Field is calculated but not stored in any database table.

you will have to create a project for the enhancement object ATP00001 through CMOD.... You can also explore the possibility of activating the availability check which will also set the confirmed quantity to zero.

How can I copy a Font Book library with "Collections" to my 2nd laptop?
I have a number of fonts (approx. 500) on my work laptop which are sorted to different Collections. I'd like to have a copy of the Font Book library with Collections on the laptop I use at home to work. I'd think there was a more straight forward way to do it, but I haven't found any posts regarding the matter so any help would be appreciated.

To anyone who is reading this based on needing to copy their Font Book to another machine as I do, there is a way to make a copy of the fonts in Font Book by going to file/export fonts. Keep in mind that you will need to have all the fonts selected (command A) in your "All Fonts" list for them to be exported. You will then have a new folder saved to where ever you chose, with all your Font Book fonts in it.

How can I print a pdf in the actual size with a page border? (2 pages per sheet preferred)
I usually print pdfs of books at a copy shop and they turn out fine.
The problem comes when I try to print the same books at home.
I use Adobe Acrobat X with the same settings: "multiple pages per sheet" (2x1) and page border. But the pages are slightly shrunken when printed. I think this is because my printer can't print as closely to the margins. Still, two pages should be able to fit on one sheet in actual size. Are there any layout settings that I can play with to find a better fit, besides portrait and landscape?
If I select page scaling "none," I'm able to print the pdf in actual size, one page per sheet. But there's no option to add a page border.

I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.
"if i turn on success/failure captions the student will see them while answering" - before submitting
"if i turn them off he wont know what's the right answer" - after submitting
My results page is the default. I didn't use any variable. When i go to the results page after reviewing the test all the entry boxes are "wrong".

EJB 3.0: How to merge detached entity with collection

suppose you have 2 database tables: PARENT and CHILD with one-to-many association. In a session bean you load the parent entity together with collection of children and send it all to client. Client might change parent or child data, add/remove children.
Now back in a session bean you want to update database, so you call:
entityManager.merge(detached_parent_entity);Problem is, that removed child objects from entity bean collection are not deleted from database. Bacause I am currently using Hibernate, I could follow the FAQ (http://www.hibernate.org/116.html#A17) and add delete-orphan cascade, but I don't want to be tight to Hibernate nor other frameworks.
Is there any sexy solution?

Problems Creating Mappings with Collections with tools or workbench

Hi -
I am a new kodo user for my company. And am having a few problems in genereal with mapping objects with collections
in them.
I followed the tutorial on how to use the kodo workbench
using the Passenger example. Build the java code and then
tried to creat a new set of metadata. After going through
this process I expected to see TWO tables. Something like
'PAssenger' and something like 'Luggage' where luggage
would be joined to passenger. However what I am getting
is ONE table passenger with a BLOB field 'Luggage'. This
has been a contant problem with me with any composite
java class containing collection. Obviously I am configuring something wrong. Any help would be great.
