Actual start date in order

In any of my order type i cant see actual start and actual finish date and it remains blank though order gets completed.
Wat can be a possible reason or is there any specific settings for that ???

  • Need to update the actual start date & time of a operation in workorder

    Hi Experts,
I need to update the Actual Start date and Actual start time of a Operation of  a WorkOrder through a Function Module.
I was looking into the BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN FM, but i couldn't find any field relating to the actual start date and start time of a operation.
Kindly Suggest me which Function module i can use to complete my task.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
It is system's standard behavior and no other MRP type will help you in moving the start date outside the planning time fence. With MRP type P3 new requirements are covered at the end of the fixing period, the end date is set and planed order is scheduled backword. Hence the start date will lie within the planning time fence.

  • Request vs Actual Start Date in Scheduler Jobs

Hi, I want to run a PL/SQL block, all days, at 1:00 AM
I've defined the following scheduler job, in a new (and empty) Job Class:
    <font face="Courier New">
    SQL> select job_name, repeat_interval, job_class, job_priority from dba_scheduler_jobs where job_class = 'MY_NOCHE_JOB_CLASS';
    JOB_NAME...........: UNIFICA_CLIENTES
    REPEAT_INTERVAL....: FREQ=DAILY;BYHOUR=1;BYMINUTE=0;BYSECOND=0
    JOB_CLASS..........: MY_NOCHE_JOB_CLASS
    JOB_PRIORITY.......: 1
    </font>
However, the process is starting later, for example:
    <font face="Courier New">
    Request Start Date....: Nov 10, 2010 1:00:00 AM -02:00
    Actual Start Date.....: Nov 10, 2010 4:06:33 AM -02:00
    </font>
Why is the difference between Request Start Date and Actual Start Date ?
Is there any way to enforce the start of the Job at any time ?
    OS: Solaris 10 8/07 s10s_u4wos_12b SPARC

    Thanks in advance

The database is not down since at least 2 months
    <font face="Courier New">

  • Actual Start Date vs Actual End Date - Activity

In an Activity, I would like to seperately enter the Actual Start Date and Actual End Date.
    - If I try this using (partial) confirmation,  I receive a pop-up with an error that the two dates must be entered together or no dates can be entered.
The activity in my project can take over a year to complete and the requirement is to confirm start (at start) and to confirm end (at end).
Does anyone know of a solution for this issue?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Patrick,
I think you need to research a bit more on confirmations in PS. Actual dates in partial confirmations are practically interpreted as provisional actual start dates and actual finish dates. The actual start for the activity remains the same however the actual finish date is overwritten once the final confirmation is entered.
For example, take an activity with start date 05.09.2011 and finish date as 14.09.2011. Now when you provide confirmations on a daily basis, you can use the following strategy:
    Day 1, 05.09.2011: actual start 05.09.2011, actual finish 05.09.2011, % complete 10%
    Day 1, 06.09.2011: actual start 05.09.2011, actual finish 06.09.2011, % complete 20%
    Day 1, 07.09.2011: actual start 05.09.2011, actual finish 07.09.2011, % complete 25%
Only when you provide the final confirmation the actual finish date is confirmed. The various confirmation line items may be viewed via CN48N.

  • Project System - Actual start Date - Activity

    Dear Friends
Can any body let me how do i put actual start date of activity in project structure?
    Thanks and regards
    Kaushal

    Hi Kaushal
Actully when you set the start date at the Project level, it will automatically flow to its sub hierarchy levels as well eg. WBS, NW and other project elements. If you still want to change the actual start of an activity project structure, you can do that by going to date tab of a specific activity say cost activity and change the date from there.
    Thanks and Kind Regards

  • Exit/Badi for Updating Actual Start Date in CJ20N

    Dear Experts,
In transaction CJ20N, under Dates Tab for a particular Activity, there is one field viz. Act i.e. Actual start: Execution (date). My requirement is to display PR date in this field. Besides this, Actual finish: Execution (date) should also get updated depending on the Duration field.
I searched all the exits in the package 'CN' and 'CORU', but none of them seems to be useful
Please suggest a user exit/BAdI which could help resolve this.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
That BADI would trigger when you change any thing on the WBS and hit save.

  • Has anyone experienced a activity actual start date moving when updating progress

When updating an activity progress in a small schedule i notice that one of my activities which had already started  on march 19th and was about 10% complete from a prior update jumped to March 23rd as start date. What is going on???

Could the activity be a Level of Effort or a WBS Summary? If so, it will follow any change to the earliest starting activity, if you made a change to this activity.

  • Actual start date in WIP

    Hi all,
I want the following confirmation whether the data picked up on the "original WIP job quantity" and "original WIP job start date" fields are truly the original ones and not any subsequent amendments as both of these fields can be amended after the original release.
Here for the original WIP job quantity Iam considering the start quantity and for the original WIP job start date Iam taking the minimum transaction date from the mtl_material_transactions table.
    Thanks in advance

  • 2LIS_04_P_MATNR Delta - Actual Start and Finish Dates

My company is experiencing a problem with retrieving the actual start and finish dates and times from the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source with delta extraction. The R/3 source system is version 4.6C. The BI system is version 7.0. Specifically, the data source fields GETRI, GEUZI (finish), GSTRI, GSUZI (start) are sometimes never populated with data. These fields are often blank in the production data extracted. It was observed that the actual delivery date for the order (posting date of goods receipt from process order) was often an earlier date than the GETRI date. This scenario was tried in test systems, and it was found that if the final goods receipt for the process order was posted before the end of the last phase was confirmed, the actual finish date and time fields were not transferred to BI from R/3. In fact, it was noted that a new record was not created in the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR delta queue when the end of the last phase was confirmed. Regarding the actual start data, this is missing if a goods receipt from the process order is posted before the start of the first phase is confirmed.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? How was it resolved?
SAP Notes have been searched regarding this problem, and in fact, a customer message has been opened with SAP for this problem. However, we thought we would try asking the community as well, to see if any other users have experienced this, and how the problem was resolved. We also understand that it may be an unusual practice to post a goods receipt from the process order before the end of the last phase is confirmed. In a more general sense, has anyone else experienced that some of the data source fields are never populated if the R/3 information is entered after the posting of the final goods receipt against the process order? Our testing indicated that no more delta records are created for the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source after the final goods receipt was posted.
    Thank you,
    Chris Sopek

    Hello,
we are experiencing your same problem! The only difference to your scenario is that wer are currently operating on SAP ECC 6.0.
Did you receive any answer from SAP?
We opened a request for the same topic.

  • Order Start date

    Hi
I am facing issue with order start date.
I have created a process order and finish date as 30/06/2011. Scheduling is Forward in Time.
When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011 in production system, Order start date gets changed to 22/06/2011 and order finish date remains same.
Whereas in Quality system, When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011, Order start date and order finish date remains same as 30/06/2011.
Please confirm how the standard process should work.
Why order start date is getting changed on partial confirmation in production system
    Regards
    Sachin

    Sachin,
    This is normal  standard behaviour
Normally when production order confirmation is posted in advance to order start date, actual order start date does not change until Manula / Automatic Scheduling is switched on.
You can go to the client where it is working correctly and manually reschedule the order in CO02 and check, order dates will get changed.
So somehow in your case Automatic Scheduling is happning and hence order dates are getting changed automatically.
Automatic Scheduling Flag in OPU3 does not directly trigger CO02 change in order dates. Please check if mnaul scheduling is getting triggered in your case or some background job of COHV is running for order scheduling.
    Check and revert,

  • In plant parameters how the start date in past will be applicable for order

    Hi All,
Can any one explain me in detail start in past for plant parmeters (OPPQ).
    Regards
    sailendra

    Hi,
Start date of order proposals allowed in the past
This indicator defines that the system does not automatically switch to forward scheduling if the order start date lies in the past for determining the basic dates. With this indicator, backward scheduling is always used to determine the basic dates, even if the start date lies in the past.
e.g Bacward scheduling type, Today date is 08.06.2009
If u give basic finish date say 25.06.2009,and system propose you basic start date in 06.06.2009. That is 06.06.2009 is lies in past date.In this case system propose you forward scheduling.Means order basic start date is 08.06.2009 .If you don't want to system propose you for forward scheduling tick mark Start in past in OPPQ.
    Hope this clear you.
    Regards,
    Raja.

  • Start/Finish vs Schedule Start/Finish vs Actual Start/Finish

    Hi,
I'm new to MSP 2013 and I'm confused on the way MSP handles Start/Finish dates. While I understand the rational of it adjusting the schedule so you see how actual dates impact the schedule, I find it confusing that there are multiple columns with different
    labels performing the same function?
"Scheduled Start" would lead you to believe this is your initial planned start date and remains static while "Actual Start" would be, well, the Actual Start date. So one value by definition would be different than the other, yet when any
of these dates, "Scheduled Start", "Actual Start", or "Start" are changed, they all change to the same value.
    My questions are:
Why do the "Scheduled Start", "Actual
Start", and "Start" dates all change to the "Actual Date" when entered?
Is there a scheduling technique or purpose for this to work this way?
Also, since the "Scheduled Start" date changes, how does MSP 2013 handle Earned Value?
Since Earned Value calculations rely on your Planned Value which would be based on the Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled          and the Earned Value which is
the Budgeted Cost of Work Performed vs. the Actual Cost of the Work Performed at "a point          in time," how could it provide a reliable figure if the scheduled date is moving? Is it using the "Baseline Start/Finish"?
I hope you can answer this for me or direct me to a resource that can. Thank you for your consideration.
    Marc

    Marc,
When Project was first released there were only two basic start field, Start and Actual Start (in addition of course to the Baseline Start field and a few others). With the release of Project 2010, a manual scheduling mode was introduced. That's when things
got a little more confusing. Instead of leaving the Start date as is, the Start field was converted to a text field and the old Start field was renamed as Scheduled Start. When in auto-schedule mode, both Start and Scheduled Start are exactly the same.
Now to answer your questions. To keep it simple, let's assume you are using auto-scheduling.
    1. In order to keep the schedule dynamics intact, it is necessary to update the Start field to agree with what really happened, namely with the Actual Start date. If you do not enter anything into the Actual Start field, Project automatically assumes the
task started as scheduled, on the Start date.
2, Yes, Project does its scheduling based on the current plan which is represented by start, finish and other data. Once the project starts, that current plan must be updated so the actual date values come into play. As noted in the lead in paragraph, Scheduled
Start and Start are the same for auto-scheduled tasks.
    3. Earned value is based on the actual values and the saved baseline data. The "point in time" you refer to is the timescaled data as of the status date.
Hopefully, this clear up at least some of your confusion.

  • Early schedule start date, early schedule finish date

I want early schedule start date, early schedule finish date and project cost plan in my report. This is a PS requirement. In the standard cube (0PS_C02) I can find actual start date and actual finish date. Has anybody used early schedule start date and early schedule finish date in the reports? If yes then did you get it using standard cube/ODS or you went for enhancement?

    HI,
He have to go for few tables in which u can find all the data.
Firstly u have to enhance the datasource .
First go to table AFKO here you insert  AFUNR (Order Number) this table you will get AUFPL .
Then take AUFLP and go to AFVV table and insert AFUPL . you will get all the activites and all dates of each activity  for example early start date ,early finish date, foirecost date etc.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Pricing conditions for the articles are getting triggered one day before the actual activation date to 3rd party systems through job WPMU.

    Hi SAP Guru´s,
Currently we are sending the pricing, promotions & article master data delta load to 3rd party system from SAP ECC via SAP XI through IDOCS using daily scheduled batch jobs WPMU. IDOC segment - WP_PLU.
Here the issue is the promotion & pricing data are sent to 3rd party system one day before the actual start date.
Eg: Promotion 123456 which has start date as 15/05/2014 & ending on 30/05/2014 & was created & activated on 13/05/2014.
This promotion 123456 is getting triggered from SAP ECC through batch job on 14/05/2014 morning & 3rd party system receives the data on 14/05/2014 & the promotion are getting activated at 3rd party system end on 14/05/2014 itself which actually gets active from 15/05/2014.
Same in the case for Standard Pricing data which needs to be active from 31/05/2014 once the promotion 123456 ends on 30/05/2014.
The standard pricing data gets triggered from SAP ECC on 30/05/2014 through batch job & reaching 3rd party system on 30/05/2014 & getting activate on 30/05/2014 itself.
This creates more issues at the store end as well as affecting business.
We checked at 3rd party system end & they replied that their system considers the updated time stamp & date to activate the prices & it does not considers the actual active from & active to date. They need the data to be sent from SAP ECC on the effective date of the pricing & promotions.
Can any one help me how to change the pricing conditions beign triggered through batch job in SAP ECC based on the actual promotion & pricing conditons start date or is there any other process to trigger the data through the batch job on the actual promotion & pricing data activation date.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    P.P.Shankar

    Hello Shankar,
Change the lead time in the POS Outbound Profile. You can't put less than 2 days there so data for today and tomorrow will be transferred which also means you need to adjust your batch timing accordingly.
Sales and Distribution -> POS Interface -> Outbound -> Maintain Profile for POS Outbound.
See if it helps. The best option would still be that the 3rd part system considers the activtion date.
    Kind Regards
    Kaizad

  • Link between actual ship date of an item and schedule line in Sales Order

So, we are developing a custom report that compares actual Ship Date (Goods Issue Document MKPF-BUDAT) and the date the item should've been shipped (Schedule Line Date).
I am able to link the GI Document to Delivery Document and can then link to Sales Order Number/Item Number.  However, a line item can have multiple schedule lines.  What logic can be put in the mapping so that the correct scheduling line is picked for the GI date to be compared against?
    Example:
    Sales Order 123
    Item 10 Product X - Quantity 10
    Schedule Line 1: 11/15/2014 8 pieces
    Schedule Line 2: 12/15/2014 2 pieces
Let's say first shipment gets delayed 2 months and ships 1/15/2015
Due date in report should know to select 11/15/2014 to calculate that shipment was late 60 days
Any way to link delivery document to a specific schedule line??
    Thanks!!

    Hello,
Just did similar development for customer report. List of deliveries based on sales order number and sales order line item numbers. Sort these deliveries either with number or actual goods issue date. Compare goods issue quantity with schedule line quanity and start allocating deliveries to schedule line. For example
Schedule line 1 - 10 MT, Schedule line 2 - 5 MT. Now you have created 3 delivery. First with 7MT, second with 5MT and third with 3MT. Your first delivery will be for first schedule line. Your second delivery is for first and second schedule line and your thrid delivery will be for second schedule line
