Actual Value displayed in GRR3 report painter Library 1VK

Dear Experts,
In report painter GRR3 > 1VK
I have summarized the Consumption according to Cost Centre of each activity types, I have set;
1. Column of Actual Quantity to take in Basic Key Figure from Statistical Quantity
2. The value is 4 (Actual) and Version is 0
Once I run the GRR3 report, there is some figure in that particular column and does not know where to trace the origin of those value. This actual figure appears on current period onwards where actual data does not been distributed on the system yet.

Dear Ajay,
Im so happy right now I found that the Actual value appeared are actually taken from the previous fiscal year. I have checked the line items and their document posting date it shown as last fiscal year.
In this case, where should I amend to have the report pick up only actual value of this fiscal year?

for some reason one of the report painter libraries seems to be missing in the production system.
I was asked to transport the library from our development system, anyone knows where to start and how to do this ?

1VK is std.SAP library, U cannt do like that .If so try to create a new one Directly In PROD server.

Creating a new report painter library

Hi all
I have created a z table for the verification of FI-CO values to use with report painter. This table is modeled like the GLT0, the only difference is that my program fill it with the values of secondary cost elements (for production direct costs). So in the table I have records of accounts defined in chart of account and records with only CO elements. I have created the library using GLT0 as template and created the user exit for take the definition of cost elements and FI account in the same process. All work well the only problem is that for the cost element the values aren't displayed also if present in the table.
I supposed in some point the extraction of values is linked to a control of presence of account in FI (SKA1 or SKB1), but I don't find the point.
Someone has some ideas?Thanks

First, you don't so much want to back up the library, you want to archive the unwanted items. When archiving you should archive to two separate drives because there could come the day when you plug in the single archive copy and the drive doesn't start.
Why not just archive a copy of the library as it is now, then delete the items from the library on the computer? Don't bother making a new, blank library.

Table need to be added in report painter library

HI,
Can't we add any table in report painter library (GR21) like if i add s032 it is accepted by library while 'MARD' is not accepted it gives error Table MARD is not installed in Report Writer.
what is the difference between s032 and MARD table, as both are transparent table. but one is accepted and other is not.

You can't use all tables.see the below lines for it:
Both Report Painter and Report Writer can be used to report on the following tables and tables types:
 Evaluation structures set up in the Logistics Information System (LIS). These structures normally begin with an S or ZF. Several different tables and views within the R/3 System can be added as evaluation structures.
Note: You cannot add cluster tables, such as BSEG.
CCSS is used for Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-OPA), Activity Based Costing (CO-ABC) and for cost element reports in Project Systems (PS).
GLFUNCT is used for functional area reporting in cost-of-sales accounting.
GLPCT and GLPCOP are used for Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA/EC-PCA).
FILC is used for Legal Consolidations (FI-LC).
COFIT is used for the Controlling Reconciliation Ledger (CO-CEL).
ZZ tables are created for the Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL).
FIMC is used for consolidations in the Enterprise Controlling module (EC-LC).
GLT0 is used for Financial Accounting (General Ledger) reports by account, company, and business area (FI-GL).
KKBC, KKBE, and KKBU are used for the Controlling Product Costing module (CO-Costing).

GRR3 Report Painter change history

Hello Experts,
Please bare with me as I am a security consultant and not functional. Today, I received an inquiry regarding GRR3 - Report Painter. It was noticed that in one of the reports that a few items were added in.
What I would like to know is how I can find who made these changes to this specific report and when. Is there any way to do this within GRR3 or from any other transaction code that you know of?

I was also wondering if there happened to be another area or table in which I can see even more details. I noticed that it says last changed and username (which is great), but are there any other places which shows more details (i.e. for which items were changed by whom?). I know this level of detail is possible with user IDs but not sure about Report Painter.

Crystal reports 11: Values displayed in crystal report not showing in VB6

I updated an existing lower version of crystal report 7 to crystal report 11. Changes are the following:
1. sql query in VB6 to add fields
2. sql query in crystal report to manipulate values and not use formula. crx11 doesn't allow summary/total in formula fields.
3. report orientation
4. additional fields to view
5. font sizes, length, can grow properties, etc.
When I tested it directly in crx 11, all fields/values are displaying correctly. When I integrated it in VB 6 using Crystal ActiveX Report Viewer Library 11.0 and CR Viewer object, the field is blank.
I've tried several checking like field suppressions, conditional suppressions, etc.
By the way, I also have a report using a subrepot with conditional suppressions. Same thing is happening. The subreport data only displays the alloted space but does not show values in VB6.

Before I read your response, I tried tweaking my reports and was able to resolve the issue.
Steps taken to solve the issue are the following:
a. Value not showing one field of four (4) reports.
Solution: I created new ones and integrate it in VB 6. The values are now showing. Tweaked on the line object properties, got a problem with the extended line but solved it by adjusting the height of the detail section.
b. Value not showing in sub-report.
Solution: My report used a shared variable so I can pass the condition to my sub-report. I used the new reports and just pass a query during runtime. The values in the subreport is still not showing. I added a formula and called the value in it. Values in the subreport is now showing.
I'll try to update the crystal reports version as suggested at a later time.

Report Painter - Library - Error in Transport

Hi Dear experts,
I have three reports built with report painter in the development system and these are associated with a z library. When we transported the objects, the Tcodes associated with these reports have been transportd properly. but the reports and the library is missing in the Production system. Now, if i execute these transactions from Production system, its giving runtime error, because the linked reports are missing ( report GP2D4I7Z2RKMI4QGRR05RUURZ8F100 load program not found) When i check the same report in development, its assigned to a local development class($tmp). But there are a lot of reports with such long names in the $tmp. So its very difficult to find which are the actual objects to be transported.
Is there any easy way to find the reports and transport? And if they contains some includes, do i need to transport them also manually? Is there anything i can do with the library? I couldnt find the transaction to change the library. So how can i transport the library? We have only 3 reports. but i dont know how many other objects are linked with these reports.
Any kind of help is highly appreciable

Hi Raja,
the menu "GR22->utilities->transport->transport request" gives some options like Statndard layout, library, report , report group, key figure, etc. We have one Z library and one Z-report group. I dont know about the other itesm like key figure etc.So which options i have to select and run? ( Iam handling these things for the first time) or do i need to run it for each options?

Parameter Description value display on Crystal Report

Hi
I have created a Parameter based off OPCH.Project, so within the Project Parameter the values are the Project Codes and under Description I have the Project Names.
Is it possible to display this Project Description value on the Crystal Report when previewing instead of the Project Code?

i think your having problem with the join..
in A/P Invoice the Project is populated in the line level (PCH1) and not in the header (OPCH) so your join should be PCH1.Project inner join OPRJ.Project
here is my sample query, try to run this in your machine
SELECT T0.[DocNum], T0.[DocDate], T2.[PrjName], T0.[DocTotal]
FROM OPCH T0 INNER JOIN PCH1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry INNER JOIN OPRJ T2 ON T1.Project = T2.PrjCode
WHERE T1.[Project] = 'ProjectCOde'
just replace ProcjectCOde to your actual project code
i have also made a sample report in my crystal here, i added OPCH, PCH1 & OPRJ, then from your menu Database -->> Show SQL Query, your Query should look like this

observed that i dont have the U_WPANO, just add it in your filter record.
your current settings in Select Expert -- Record is good enough
{OPCH.Project} = {?Contract Name} and
{OPCH.U_WPANO} = {?WPA Number}

Report Painter Library: troubles with new field in the additional structure

Hi, ALL!
I'm creating a new field in the Report Painter table GLFUNCT. Do do it I created my field in the additional structure GLDBZ for GLFUNCT and create an row in the T804C table for new field.
Who has expirience in customizing using T804* tables? What tables should be used and how? I have the following troubles:
- I do not see the new field as characteristic in the library - I don't know the customizing table to set fields from additional structure as characteristic
- in the generated Report Painter program my new field exists but call of filler routine is always disabled

Plan next yrs values not appearing in Report Painter

Hi,
In our one of Z report (developed thrugh SAP std Report Painter functionality), Plan next yrs column does not shows any value in output of report.
Basically this column should show next years plan values for WBS Element cost elementwise.
When I double click on any of the cell of this column, I am getting output with 0 records but selection criteria is appearing as Period 7 and Fiscal year as 2999 on output screen on the top. So I am thinking that output is not appearing because of wrong selection criteria field values/characteristics values.
Just wanted to know from you all guys, what things should I check in Report Painter to resolve this issue? Also what are the causes of this issue?
Could you please tell me the remedial procedure and transaction code to resolve this kind of issue?

Report Painter library for Classic GL for creating cost center report

Hi,
I am sure everyone knows what my query is.
I have tried using library GLTO, GLT1, GLT2, CCSS, GLFUNCT but when i am trying to create/execute report using report painter for cost center but no records are selected. I have checked the settings they all are correct as i have run it for another company code, secondly for GL reports using report painter there is no such error.

Report Painter "Library FAGLFLEXT"

Hello Experts,
Im current making a Income statement report on the report painter.. Using library "FAGLFLEXT" my requirement is to have the Profit Center as the Characteristic on the Column. And the GL account and Cost Centers on the row... But the report shows no balance on the Expense part.
Please advise am I using the wrong Library or the repainter can't deliver such report?

Report Painter - Library 7KO - Characteristic WERKS

Hello All -
I am trying to add field WERKS (plant) to my selection parameters for my report painter report.
I had to activate it as a characteristic in the library because it wasn't activate yet.
When I select plants on the selection screen, I get no data, so it must be filtering wrong.
I used a variable for WERKS, which is pointing to reporting table KKBC.
KKBC is the table that library 7KO looks at, so I dont know why it can't find any data with the plant filter.
Does anyone know how to look at a reporting table? This might help me.
Any help would be appreciated.

1. Add the variable WERKS in General Data Selection after copying the standard report to z-version
2, Add the new report to the report group and generate it again

Attachin Custom Table to Report Painter Library

Hi,
Im trying to create a new library in Report Painter (GR21) and attach it to a custom table.
I am getting the error message (GR493) that "the table is not installed in Report Writer - The Report Writer can only report on tables if the attributes of these tables that are relevant for reporting are defined in control tables"
Does anyone know what this means and how to get around it?

Report painter - library : 8A2 - characteristic isn't available

I'm trying to use characteristic "Record Type - RRCTY " in a report from library 8A2, but this characteristic isn't available to use.
I check the definition for library 8A2 and field "record type" is ready to be used (Indicator: Use characteristic is on ).
why this fiel isn't available to be used ?

Please check whether characteristic has been already included in columns or row.
This is a standard characteristics and is always part of reports.
You could check for example report 8a22-001, column definition.
