Es vergonzoso que apple no de una solucion a este problema que tenemos los usuarios que hemos sido fieles a apple desde hace muchos años.

Hola. Tengo un Iphone 4s y cada poco tiempo se queda sin servicio y dice buscando cobertura. Tambien corta alguna llamada.

Es problema del equipo, un amigo tiene el suyo en Telcel y le pasaba lo mismo lo llevo y le dieron uno nuevo,
el mio lo que tiene es que en el menu de GENERAL>AJUSTES>TELEFONO la pestaña de LlAMADA EN ESPERA no cambia y la de ID cambia de activo a desactivado de manera automatica y por lo tanto no puedo hacer llamadas ya lo mande a garantia pero la verdad si estoy penando en venderlo en cuanto regrese y comprar un HTC que no tiene problemas de servidor o de linea con Telcel, es un pexxx que si compraste tu cel en apple te digan que el pedo es tu compañia celular y si lo compras en telcel u otra los de apple te manden ala fregada porque no lo compraste con ellos

Hola Carmencabanillas, a mi me pasa el mismo problema de "SIN SERVICIO", ya descarté que fuera la microsim lo probé en otro equipo y funciona bien, probé microsim de otros operadores pues esta desbloqueado mi iphone 4 y no funciona; lo llevé a mi operador "CLARO" en Colombia y me dice que no esta reportado ni nada de eso que deberia funcionar, entonces descartado microsim y que no esté reportado me queda por decir que es el telefono, este lo he restaurado las veces que quieres, le he restablecido las conexiones de red en fin, se ha hecho de todo a nivel de software y nada.
El problema es que parece ser daño tipo hardware, pero aca en Colombia no lo repara el operador hay que enviarlo a los Estados Unidos... eso me costará un ojo de la cara... que mal por Apple.
Quien me puede ayudar con este caso?

mi iphone 5 desde un tiempo para aca se queda sin cobertura la misma va y viene asi pasa todo el dia, pero cuando estoy conectado al WIfi funciona bien ademas cuando se queda sin cobertura se queda colgado y cuando vuelve la cobertura funciona bien pero asi pasa todo el dia, ya lo he restaurado con itunes y nada sigue igual tambien lo actualice al ios 8 y nada sigue igual le retiro el chip y nada sigue igual me pueden ayudar

A mi me pasa exactamente lo mismo, lo que me mosquea un poquito es que ya he tenido que cambiar mi iphone 2 veces por este problema y el que me dieron hace un par de meses le vuelve a pasar lo mismo.
La unica forma de cargarlo es enrollando el cable alrededor del teléfono ou con un adaptador para cable del iphone 4, he ido a una tienda de confianza en donde me dejaron un cable original y nada de nada.
Ya no se que hacer, porque que en tres teléfonos me pase lo mismo ya me extraña y cuando envie el primero, inclui el cable pero me lo mandaron de vuelta.
Tendre que volver a enviarlo a reparar y a ver si en esta ocasion me cambian el cable.

Bueno, honestamente nunca había escuchado de un problema así pero te recomiendo que llames al número de AppleCare de tu país y veas si te pueden dar asistencia telefónica, normalmente así debería ser por tratarse de un equipo nuevo. Si con la ayuda que te den por ese medio no se corrige seguramente te dirán que lo lleves a un centro de servicio o con tu compañía telefónica.
Me extraña que te hayan dicho ellos que no podían hacer nada porque a mi en la mía cuando tuve un problema me cambiaron el teléfono (que estaba en garantía) pero algunas son menos 'amigables' con los usuarios.

Me pasa lo mismo pero con un Iphone 5. El celular se quedó sin señal y lo restauré de igual manera. The reason is because my iPhone 3Gs wifi having some problem. So i have to use a USB cable to connect to my computer and let my iphone to connect to the internet .
If i don't do this i would have to keep on running out & in to my room & my living room.
My iPhone 3Gs allows to connect to the wifi when i am in my living room, but once i enter my room the wifi won't be able any more. So please help me out please people

I believe the next time you sync your phone to itune via the cord, you will have to check the box that says sync via wifi and also enable that setting on your iphone.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

Airport express causes iphone and ipad to lose wifi

We have a new (3 months old) Airport Extreme in our house. It provides internet connectivity for an iMac, macbook pro, iphone 3gs, and ipad 2 (and a pc). Never had any problems.
Two days ago, I purchased an Airport Express to put downstairs, and wirelessly extend the wifi network. Setup seemed to go smoothly, and all devices reported a stronger signal downstairs. However, the iphone and ipad started behaving really strangely after an hour or so. They kepy saying they couldn't connect to the network, and even when I selected the network, they kepy saying the password was incorrect (even though I typed it in 10 times). I reset the network settings on the iphone, as well as powered it off and rebooted it to no avail. The only way I have been able to get things working again is to unplug the airport express; restore the airport extreme to its factory settings, and then re-set-up the network on the airport extreme from scratch.
After things were working again, I re-installed the Airport Express and configured it to wirelessly extend the network. Same thing happened: everything was fine for an hour or so, and then the iphone and ipad lost wifi connectivity and wouldn't re-connect. Only way to fix it was again to unplug the airport express and wipe the airport extreme back to factory settings and rebuild the network from scratch.
Is anyone else having this issue? I'd really love to use the Airport Express for its advertised functions of extending my wifi network (and streaming itunes on my stereo downstairs)-- but if it garbles or kills the ability for my iphone and ipad to use Wifi, that's unacceptable and it will be going back to the Apple store.
I should mention that as far as I am aware, I have the latest versions of ios running on the iphone and ipad, and the latest firmware updates for the airport extreme and airport express.
Has anyone dealt with this problem?

Problem solved. I was recommended by a non Apple consultant to manually change the radio channel. Channel 11 worked.

If you haven't set up your own Apple ID already don't. I suggest you use the same apple ID as your wife's. The alternative is to do this http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848. It's not efficient as you have to swap apple id's to update apps under both IDs. 20/20 being hindsight, I would have never created a 2nd apple ID for my wife.
