AD-41 headset volume adjustment sensitivity too hi...

Hi! I own Nokia 3250 and what's really annoying me is the headset's volume adjustment. It works terrible ! The sensitivity of buttons is so high that it's very difficult to change volume only one level up or down. I don't know if it applies only to this model, but I checked it on N70 and it worked fine. When the button is pressed, volumes goes one level up, then short pause and then up again. That's how it should work! But now there're no pauses, it changes so quickly that I can't adjust volume accurately when i'm in move. My firmware is 3.24. Maybe it's fixed in 4.14 ? I wish it is, otherwise I won't upgrade my phone, I don't want to lose high sound volume.
Has someone similar observations ?

He is not telling the truth. The headset is faulty.

Nokia has decreased the volume level due to European Union health regulations. Apple's new iPods are also coming with decreased volume.  I know this really sucks,

so i well make the loud low

    just like cigarets and alchol
finally i'm not under the European Union health regulations

  • How to adjust bluetooth headset volume in mediapla...

    Hi,
I've a problem with lovely E75. I just got a new bluetooth headset (HBH-IS800 SonyEricsson) without any volume control. In a normal call the volume adjust works perfect, but in the mediaplayer the volume is to loud even if I press the lower buttom to it says 10% in the display.
I also have the same problem with systemsounds (lika SMS) that plays in the BT headset, they are to load.
Is it possible to change the output volume from this media applications? I cant find any help in the manual or menusystems.

I beg to differ. If SE implements the basic BT protocol set and Nokia will recognize this, and connects, then Nokia's work is done. Nokia is not required to support SE headset but is required to support the BT standards. The idea is to get you to purchase an SE phone over a Nokia phone and vise versa. To not understand this is to miss out on the basics of business fundamentals.
While it may be a great headset, personally I like the fact that I can use my much better headphones (Shure SE 530's) with the Nokia BH-214. I had the SE HBH-DS220 but got rid of it because it too had a very strange BT protocol that would not allow it to connect until music was streaming from the phone. The guys at the SE shop acknowledged this as normal behavior between manufacturers. If you do not believe this, go to and SE shop, or Nokia, or both and ask them to explain it to you.

  • I have a ringtone that works great on my computer but the volume is very soft on the phone.  I have adjusted the volume on the phone but the ringtone volume is still too low.  Is there any way to adjust the volume of a ringtone?

I have managed to sync a ringtone to my ne i phone 5C but the volume is way too soft.
The sound is great on my computer but hard to hear at all on the phone.  I have tried turning up the volume button on the phone but it doesn' do anything for the ringtone.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem.  The ringtone is "calypso blackberry" and I am not able to locate it in the Apple store ringtones.  This should be so simple and it is making me nuts.
    Help anyone please.
    Bob

So you use an RCA cable going into what before it hits the MBP?
EDIT: Also in System Preferences > Sound > Input > you can select the input & adjust the volume accordingly as long as it's plugged in.

  • HT204019 Missing "volume adjust" in Ringtones section of new iTunes 12.0

My iTunes is at its most updated format, 12.0.1.26 How do I increase the volume of a ringtone now?
In the past, I've made many of my own ringtones using 30-second clips of the songs. Today, when I finished making the ringtones and then imported them into my library, I couldn't find the "volume adjust" slider in the Options tab of "Get Info". It used to be there. When ringtones would first import in, they would always be a little quieter so I had to turn up the volume adjustment.
That volume slider is no longer in its usual/original place. Is it somewhere else in iTunes?

I'm having a similar issue, but cannot see anything to do with airplay in the SysPref > Sound menu.  My mac is too old to run Yosemite, so looking to find another way to get this fixed.  Any ideas?

  • Itunes volume adjust doesn't take in ipod

i ripped an audio book on my imac because the optical drive on my powerbook stopped working. then i moved the audio book over to my powerbook and put it on my ipod. the volume was too soft so i adjusted it in itunes and resynched.
there was really no change except that on my ipod, when i turn up the volume, the volume stops increasing when the volume slider is about halfway across the screen. the slider keeps moving, but the volume stops increasing.
what can i do? any thoughts? help!!

No, I'm in Australia. Itunes 'volume adjustment' USED to work...but it *doesn't* anymore...;/??
I even updated the latest itunes...but still *nothing*

  • Glitch with iTunes Volume Adjustment.

I'm having this tiny glitch with the volume adjustment feature in iTunes. I have certain songs that are too soft, so I turned the volume adjustment on those songs to 100%. I sync those songs to my iPhone 3GS running 5.0.1. However, after those songs finish playing, the next song that plays will also be adjusted to 100%, even when I didn't make it that way. Only way to rectify this is to choose another song from my music list on my iPhone, making the volume back to normal.
It's a minor annoyance, but one nonetheless. I have my playlist on shuffle, and everytime I hear a song which I know I adjusted to 100%, I know I have to choose another song from my playlist because the next song that comes after that will be insanely loud.
If anyone can provide me with a solution, it is greatly appreciated.

Never mind, resyncing seems to have solved the problem.

  • How to turn off volume adjustment sound under Windows 7

    Hey all,
I'm running Windows7 x64 on an Intel iMac (July 2010 revision).
Things are running well for the most part. However, I am unable to find a way to turn off the blooping sound played when adjusting the volume in Windows 7 (I know how to turn it off in OS X). I have tried turning off all system sounds under Windows, but the volume adjustment sound still plays. Does anyone know how to turn this off? I find it jarring. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give.
    Thanks.

That too bad because I use the MBP to do my radio show and it's very annoying. I know you can turn it off on the mac side.

  • Main menu audio volume adjustment issue

Under the Disc Menus tab, using the Ladybug menu template that comes with Premiere Pro Elements 9 and chose an audio clip to use as intro music.  I need to adjust that tracks volume to better match the core video/audio levels.  Ideas?  The audio mixer does not show that track.
    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the forum.
I think that Audacity, or similar, is the easiest way to handle this.
As I am usually doing DD 5.1 SS, for my Projects and for my Menus, I just create a Menu Sequence in PrPro, and edit my Audio (or perhaps Video too, if I have a Motion Background on the Menu), but as PrE does not have Sequences, one would have to create a New Project, to do that. Yes, Audacity would be much easier.
    Good luck,

PS - even the full-featured Adobe authoring app., Encore, needs to have the Audio's Volume adjusted outside of the authoring program.

  • Battery Drain With Volume Adjustment?

Does adjusting the volume of a song or music video use more up more battery?
I ask because some of the music videos that I bought have really low volume and I barely get the right amount of volume when my volume bar is all the way to the max. I know it wastes more battery to use the equalizer, I just wanted to know if this applies to volume adjustments too.

    Hi,
It does not matter whether the volume bar is full or half.As long as the volume isn't too high it won't drain anything more.Example:If my i pod songs are much louder than urs..and i use half...but u use use full and get the same volume...it consumes the same amount of battery.
Tell me if u didnt understand it properly!!I'll put it across differently

  • The volume is just too **** loud! :)

When I hook up my iMac to the normal speaker system, it's all good, I turn the volume way up in Leopard, and then proceed to 'down-tune' it with the speaker's own volume knob.
But there are times the rest of the house is still asleep, and I use the headphones that came with my iPod. The problem is, I can't turn the volume down far enough. 0 'blocks' of volume (in Leopard) is completely muted, and 1 'block' is already too loud. Of course, some applications have their own volume control (iTunes, Quicktime, etc), so I can turn it down there, but that does not control the volume of the system's own sounds (The "Ding"-download-is-done-sound for instance).
Is there a way to turn the volume down in the system (like, 0.5 'block' would be ideal) without using headphones with a built-in volume control? (for one, I don't own one of them, and secondly, they usually destroy sound quality)
Right now, I kinda feel like Huey Lewis in Back to the Future. "It's just too **** loud".

Sorry but I don't understand which "block" you are talking about. Volume adjustment is continuous rather than discrete. If you do it in System preferences->sound, the volume bar is nice and long so it shouldn't be hard to find a good level.

Ah! I think, you mean the volume button on the keyboard. Just do it in system preferences or using the volume bar in the menu.

  • IPod minimum volume level is too high

    Hey,
The title pretty much says it all. I got a used iPod for Christmas. I'm having 2 problems: the volume range seems to be very limited, and the minimum volume is too high. (Akin to this post: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4111969?start=0&tstart=0
Anyways, I was wondering if the Volume Adjustment feature will lower the volume of the songs on my iPod, or only on the computer.

I read that theser is a volume issue with some players in the FAQ.
I tried following the link for more information, but its broken. What did it say ?

  • Volume Adjustment of iTunes downloads on Apple TV

In the iTunes program you can manually adjust each song or video you have downloaded by selecting the song/video then goto file, goto get info, goto option, goto volume adjustment, and adjust the volume output on the sliding bar. This enables you to set a standard dB level, instead of some songs being too loud and others being too quiet.
Has anyone found if this adjustment can be made to music videos download directly to the Apple TV from the iTunes store?
I would like to adjust the dB output of each song directly on the Apple TV, instead of syncing to my PC or MacBook and adjusting each song then syncing back to the Apple TV.

You can normalise the audio volume on the tv by turning on the sound check option (Settings/A&V/Sound Check)
