I might not know how to explain this. But I will try.
I will like to do an advertisment banner which it will run
out and running on the screen when the current webpage is load.
Is there any way to do it?

Motif? It was created to work
along in side of Flash to aid designers/programers in creating
several different styles of flash advertising. One of those ways
being a Floating advertisement, which will appear as if it is
floating over the webpage you add it to. Very useful stuff.

No errors was found in the installation log. I'm looking in the WWDOC_DOCUMENT$ table and found records that make references to my previous tries to upload the logo image. In order to make others tries, how can I delete this information? Are references to this files in any other table?.

I have a new iPhone 5S. While trying to learn about it, I accidentally recorded a voice memo with no content. I cannot now figure out how to get rid of it. There is a banner across the top of my phone with this memo which I don't want. I have deleted it from iTunes but cannot get it off the phone. Help!
The banner usually indicates that the memo is "Paused." If you go back into voice memos, touch the word "Done" beside the big red pause button, give it a name, then it will show in a list. Touch the memo in the list then touch the trash can icon that should appear.

I tried using the Voice Memos iPhone app and ended up with a red banner on top of the screen that flashes "recording 00.00" but I can't locate what I thought I was recording. can you help me?

How do I keep an Edge Animate banner ad file size small?
Most publishers cap the file size of banner ads at 30 KB to 50 KB. Is that possible using Edge? I know someone asked a question like this two years ago, and the reply was to use a CDN to serve the larger .js files. Is there a more direct approach now that Edge is no longer in preview? Thanks!

We were just forming what became the Edge Animate team two years ago, so many questions were asked at that time. The 30k-50k ad standards were built with Flash in mind; HTML advertising standards are still emerging. In the meanwhile, we are making a continuing investment to improve the form factor of Animate output. Here are a few things we've done so far in "Publish":
- Frameworks via CDN (for jQuery)
- "Polite" preloader - this allows you to sneak-in under 30k size limits. It shows a light-weight "preloader" and then pull in a larger payload after the page has loaded. The preloader UI contains a meter that indicates the gzipped size of the preloader including its resources.
- Compressed composition output. When published, the animation (xyz_edge.js) is written in an efficient/compact form that shaves as much as 80% from the composition size.
I'd be grateful for your perspective on the "polite preloader" approach vs. trying to fit the entire composition into 30k. If Animate were to support an "areo-gel weight" output format, what kinds of experiences would you expect to produce with it? If you have any examples, please share!

I have a pornographic search line on the top banner of Safari just under the bookmark icons that appears whenever I open up the onscreen keyboard and the top drops down a bit. Don't know where it came from the iPad is only one day old brand-new. I've tried getting rid of this by resetting the entire iPad but that didn't work. The link if I click it opens up a Google page listing links to see videos. Need to know if there's any way to make this thing go away permanently.
You saved it on the bookmark bar. Hit bookmarks, bookmark bar, edit, then hit the minus to delete it.

Can I use SetFld during GenPrint for banner page fields?
I have a banner page form that has multiple variable fields on it to display information specific to the batch it's being included with (for out post-composition handling area). I currently set those fields' values by assigning variables of the same name (as the fields) within a DAL script called as my BachBannerBeginScript for that batch. The fields on the Banner page form/section have a rule of NOOPFUNC, so without that assign process happening during the DAL script, they inherently hold no value. This has worked fine so far.
Now I have a new banner page for a different process/batch, and it's purpose will be to be a "summary report" of sorts, detailing on the banner page high-level information about each document within that batch. I take information from the batch file (bch), read in an additional external file and aggregate the data in GVMs (to form an array, basically) during the BatchBannerBeginScript. The problem I now have is that I have a variable-sized array (based on the document-count within my batch file), yet my understanding is that I can't use functions available to me in GenData, so I have to basically pre-define as many instances of the section (if I do a report line per section) or field (if I do one section with all instances of the field on it) as I think are possible (max-case scenario, basically).
However, after I have my Section/Fields defined, I still need to use DAL scripting to populate those fields. I tried to use SetFld to populate them, but the values don't show up in my output, leading me to believe that function/rule doesn't work in GenPrint. Is there a better way to set all those fields than to explicitly assign each instance of a field? I'd rather have a short While loop that takes a GVM's instance and assigns it to a variable field name than have hundreds of assign statements where I explicitly assign each possible field.

GreggAha. So you have an existing script that is executing somewhere to assign some other field during print. Depending upon what and when this script runs, you may be trying to set your banner fields too late. You see, as a default the banner page is temporary. Generally it is created, printed, then destroyed all before the first real page of your transaction prints. If you are not using the TransBannerBeginScript INI option as mentioned earlier, you might try to use that method to run your script which should be while the banner page is still alive.
There is another way that you could try to run your script on the given page using what is called a "print time" or "macro" field. This would involve creating one more field on your banner section and name it like this:
~DALRUN MyScript.DAL
Yes, you can name your script something other than MyScript.DAL. The key is the ~DALRUN at the start, which will be interpreted at print time to mean that you want to run the DAL script and return a value. Now, of course you don't need a real value for this field, but there's nothing to stop the script from assigning data into the other fields at that time.
You do have to make sure that this field is the first in sequence on the section. Otherwise, some of your fields may print before it gets to the point to evaluate this "print time" request.
To make sure this is the first field in sequence will differ depending upon whether you are using DMStudio or the older Image Editor. Since you mentioned 11.5, you could use either. In DMStudio, simply click on the "Objects" tab when the section is open and then click on the field to highlight it in the tree. Then use the button bar just above there to move the field to the top of the list. -

The apps you have were probably purchased/downloaded from the App Store with your ex-wife's iTunes account. Any updates to these apps will want to be downloaded using this account. You will need to redownload/repurchase these apps. In iTunes on your computer delete the app. Go to the App Store and redownload/repurchase them. Now sync your iPhone with iTunes.
Note that if you are using a new computer (no longer your ex-wife's) you may lose what is on your iPhone.
In iTunes on a computer you can check which account was used for dowloading/purchasing an app. Select the app. From the File menu choose Get Info. The account will be listed in the Summary tab. -
How do I add an html link/banner to a page in my flash website?
I purchased a flash website template and am in the process of editing my main.fla file. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. However, I cannot figure out how to place an html link/banner on my site for other businesses. If I paste the html code in a text box, all that shows up is the html code rather than the image and link it is meant to generate. Please help!
Flash only supports a small amount of html in text areas. If what you re trying to include is within what it supports, then you assign the text to the textfield using the htmlText property of the TextField...

blank window. The difference between this banner and the others on
the site is it has an iframe tag. When I get these banners, the
vendor gives me the option to open in a new window but Amazon does
not.

Thank you to everyone who attempted to answer my first post. But I realized my post was a little vague so I will try to apply more detail as to what I'm talking about. Ok I hope this sounds a little more clearer... I'm trying to add this banner to my page but it will not stretch the length of the page. When I
insert the image it starts at about 3-4 inches from the left margin and will not stretch to the left only the right. I do not have a web domain yet but below you can find the html code of the page I'm working on. Also here is the free template I am referencing http://demo.templateworld.com/zero/in_action/aquatic/. It is enclosed in the #mainPanBut I can't see your image files, so I can't tell you what that background image on the body of the page is supposed to be. You've had other responses that also say that the image itself does not stretch.
Test my theory:
Open your page in a browser (from Dreamweaver). Change the size of the browser window. See what happens with the banner.
The other thing you should do is compare the size of the images you are using with the size of the images in the template. If they are not the same size, you will see a difference in the way your page acts vs the Template World page.
But really, it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot a page that one cannot see the actual code of...not a print of the code, but the page and code in action.
If you want to show a screenshot, check the instructions in the Forum. Your image this time did not show up.

The notification banner that drops down momentarily while your in an app has recently began to drop down and never disappear until I either exit the app or press the notification. It looks like the only notification that has been doing this is Messages. Emails, Facebook and other app notifications seem to be working okay. Anyone else see this? Is there a fix?

Several different advertisers seem to use an embedded setting to display a map within their banner display, however, it is not my town, but one close by.
A couple weeks ago, a Firefox window popped up, without my involvement, asking me to verify certain information on it. It seemed to be a 'general settings' window from Firefox and I noticed it had the name of the 'other' town listed in the field labeled "Your Location" (or something close to that), so I changed it to the 'correct' name of my hometown and closed the window properly.
This action caused no issues (i.e. it wasn't a Trojan virus or anything) and seemed to have cleared up the incorrect banner maps, maybe as I didn't pay too close attention recently. However, today I again noticed the system using the 'other' town's name when displaying those banner map ads.
How can I set/reset this setting to the name of my correct 'home'town?You can automatically save downloads without seeing the Open/Save/Cancel dialog in the Options:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > General > "Saves files to"
However, I can't think of a way to have the Open/Save/Cancel dialog always default to Save. I think mine suggests whatever I did last for the same type of content, but I haven't paid close attention.
I'm out of time to address the problem with "do this automatically" but there is one suggestion for why it could be grayed out in this article: [[Change what Firefox does when you click on or download a file]].
Is it possible you had a download-related extension before? To compare settings and extensions, please retain the Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop. Aside from checking the extensions in there, it would be interesting to run a text file comparison on your currently active prefs.js file and your old one in that folder. -

I have lots of software code (in tSQL, html, JavaScript, XAML, and C#) that I need to print in a long scroll. The scroll will be no more than 440mm wide and as long as it needs to be (though the roll of paper is 45 m long so I’ll need to make sure it is shorter than that). The resulting code listing is to from part of an exhibit contrasting the ‘sketching’ phase in a multidisciplinary project between design, social science, and software engineering. At first I thought I’d print straight from the development environment (Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server Management Studio) but I realise now that is not possible because
1) Both tools assume standard page sizes, and
2) I need to rotate the software code listing 180 degrees so that the end of the listing is at the tail of the paper roll.
For these reasons I’m doing it in Adobe Photoshop (CS5, 64 bit, on Windows 8).
My workflow for this is verging on the ridiculous.
1) If I cut-and-paste the code listings file by file from Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server Management Studio into Photoshop (or Illustrator) I lose the formatting, for example the coloring of comments differently form variable declarations. (See http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/how_could_i_paste_a_rtf_pdf_word_tex t_keeping_the_formatting_into_photoshop .) Thus Step 1 is to cut-and-paste each file into a Microsoft Word document.
2) If I cut-and-paste from the Microsoft Word document into Photoshop I still loose the formatting, and Microsoft Word does not seem to be able to cope with the paper roll nor rotating the print. So I save the Microsoft Word document as a PDF and open that into Photoshop.
3) I now have 51 Photoshop files each with one layer containing the text for that ‘page’, though I think it’s an image as it is not editable as text. I then save each of these files.
4) Using Adobe Bridge I open all 51 Photoshop files created in Stage 3 and “Load Files into Photoshop Layers” so that I have a new single Photoshop file with all 51 text image layers in.
5) The layers sit on top of each other. What I need is for them to sit head-to-toe. I don’t know how to do this without spending a million years selecting layers and moving them by hand.
6) If I ever get Stage 5 done I will then group the 51 layers and rotate the result through 180 degrees.
7) I will then resize the result to have a width of 400mm and print the resulting file on our banner printer, having first calculated the resulting paper ‘height’ and turned off the automatic paper cutting.
So my questions are:
1) Is there a better way of doing this?
2) I can see the Photoshop actions that will align layers by their tops, their bottoms, or their centers but how do I automatically align them so that the bottom of layer 1 touches the top of layer 2, the bottom of layer 2 touches the top of layer 3, etc.?If you can make an image file for each page you may want to look at my paste image roll Photoshop script.
