Ad Hoc distribution is temporarily unavailable
I can't modify or make a new ad hoc provisioning profile. Anyone have any idea what's going on or when this will be re-enabled? I was hoping to get some new beta testers on tonight.
Hey guys I've figured this out after a great deal of hair-pulling and trial-and-error.
When I went back and double-checked, the answer is actually here in this excellent description:

But it's a little buried and not intuitive.
What you have to do for AIR is use the DEVELOPER certificate with the AD HOC mobileprovisoining profile. You DON'T use the ad hoc distribution profile -- it won't work!

I have a program that opens a socket and listens for udp packets. The code snippet code goes like this

My program works fine until I get this "Resource temporarily unavailable" exception. (I dont use nio classes) Iam on linux 8.0 with JRE1.5..
When does this exception occur ? Is there any workaround ? It looks like this would be thrown when no data is available on the socket (but I dont get this in Windows) Any help would be greatly appreciated.First off, what do you mean you use linux 8.0? What distribution is that?
Is the exception that is being thrown an IOException? I just want to make sure the problem is actually happening at the socket.receive(p) line.
You can also try to print the stack trace of the exception by doing this: exec.printStackTrace()
That might tell you what class is throwing the exception which will give a clue as to what resource it needs to allocate but cannot.

Ad Hoc distribution under Enterprise license
Hi,
I have a customer who's workforce has a 1,000 iPads and is interested in distributing their publications either Ad-Hoc or through Internal Distribution, without going through the Apple Store. Are there any issues, limitations using the Enterprise License with Adobe DPS?
I understand Apple has a 100 unit limit on Ad-Hoc using the Developer License.
TonyApple has a 100 device limit per provisioning profile for ad hoc distribution. It's a cumbersome method at best and won't scale easily to 1000 ipads.
The correct solution for this type of desired behaviour is an Apple Enterprise license and DPS. This will let you build an app that can be distributed outside the Apple app store, to your employees only. Depending on theneed to control the level of access to content, folios can either published as public free ( controlling access by controlling the app distribution) or published as public/retail using the direct entitlement APIs to provide login level access to the folio within the app. -

When I try to enter codes for digital movie downloads it tells me "code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." Customer support has been no help. Anyone else have this problem?
Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though. To me it seems to be a problem on their end, but can't get an answer from them on why it is telling me code redemption is unavailable. Please help! Anybody!Confirming my suspicions with every passing hour. Support on this forum is non-existent like the support from Apple support. But, you got my money now... why would you care?

Unable to start Web Analysis .Service Temporarily Unavailable

I am using the following URL to access Web Analysis http://testdb.xxx.xxx.xx:19000/WebAnalysis/WebAnalysis.jsp. But it throws up the following error -
"*Service Temporarily Unavailable, the server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.*"
FYI
1. I'm using EPM 11.1.1.3 on Linux Server (Tikanga)
2. Planning, Shared Services, Workspace, Essbase etc. are working fine. The problem is only with Web Analysis. However, even Web Analysis was working fine in the not-so-distant past.
I have tried stopping and starting the Web Analysis service but that doesn't seem to help.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Web Analysis was working just fine until recently. Now the problem is only with WA. Everything else is working as it should If nothing gets Web Analysis up and running again, is there a way I can retrieve my saved report files? I can view these files from Workspace -> Explore -> Reports folder.

I've been in contact with Apple support team regarding this issue. I have about 9 items available for download(preorders mostly) but it's not listed under download. When I click on Check for available download, a message with 'iTunes temporarily unavailable' appears but when I go to the iTunes store itself, its working just fine. I've already been charged twice for the same movie which Apple have kindly refunded me for one of them but I still haven't managed to download that movie yet. Apple says its a problem with my computer and given me all sort of ways to rectify the issue and still no hope. Everything else seems to work just fine including the actual iTunes store, wifi syncing and cable syncing etc. Can somebody help me with this if you know how to solve this problem or if you've had the same issue now or before?
I am using the latest Software updates on my iTunes and these 9 items were purchased whilst on this new updatesLaunch iTunes on your computer.

Hi there I have been trying to help a friend work out why she hasn't been able to access itunes on her home computer for 3 months as it comes up with the following error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"
I have cleared her crache and dissabled firewalls still no luck. Then I tried logging in with my id and to our surprise it worked. So any assistance would be great. Please find the report below maybe you can help!

The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

I got a new ipod touch for Christmas.
Today I was going to put music on it, i was told there was updates.
So I went ahead to do them.
My Ipod is stuck on the screen with the usb cord pointing to the itunes logo.
In Itunes i'm told :
Itunes has dected an ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes.
Turning the ipod off - the same screen appears when it's back on.
When I click restore ipod and after restore and update is clicked ; Extracting software loads up at the top.
When its done this is the message I get:
The iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.
I've been looking up trying to figure it out myself and have read making sure a setting in Lan Settings in Internet Properties has ; Automatically detect settings checked. I still get the same ipod message.
I've tried holding the power and home key to turn it off, then powering it back on. But that doesn't work.
I installed itunes today, so its up to date - I checked.
I don't know what else to do.
Can someone help me out, please? :}

I don't know - but I am having the same problem and have not had any useful help from Apple Support. Everything they told be to do has been done and it hasn't fixed the problem.

Few weeks earlier they have blocked my apple id so i had to write to them to get it re-enabled, which took few days!
