AD RMS 2008R2 - Export not getting disabled

Hi, We've setup AD RMS in our environment. We use Office 2010 as IRM clients.
Everything is working fine apart from one thing.
I need to give users permission to edit and save and excel document but not Save As. I created a template for this and when the document opens under "View Permisions" it shows as "Export(Save as)" disabled. But the save as functionality
is still there and works fine too.
Can someone share some insights.

Hi Darshan,
This is exactly what I wanted write. If you have save permissions, you have also save as permissions :) Also, please have in mind that it doesn't matter if you export (save as) your file as it is already protected and only authorized people get access to
its content.

Thanks for your response.
1. Disable triggers are defined in that object and multiple instances enabled for that disable trigger task.
2. Object is still in provisioned state not disabled
3. Two of its tasks in that process instance are manually completed. Some prob has occured during completion of that task and they have manually completed it. So is that same problem hindering the disable flow also?

Internal speaker not getting disabled

When the earphones are plugged in, the internal speaker should get disabled. However, this is not happening. So I can hear music both through the earphones (though not at a very high level) and the ipod itself. What can I do please??

First off, the Fifth Generation iPod does not have an internal speaker. The 5th Generation iPod Nano has an internal speaker.
You need to be sure to push the headphone jack all the way in until the white plastic is flush with the Nano.

Fields not getting disable

Hi All,
I am using PCUI application CRMM_ACCOUNT with Old Floor Plan. I want to make field Country as Read only. So I selected FieldGroup as ACC_SRES_COUNTRY and field Conutry. I made field as 'Read only'. Due to this my field gets disable in List view but when i check same field in Detail View it is enabled.
Has anyone have idea what i am missing or what is reason for it?

I also faced the same problem and get resolved it by making some extra work.
are you using any view of this application ?if yes than
what you need to do is to make country field read only for your view. for that copy all the fields with your view in same field group. now check the read only for this field.
I am sure it will resolve the issue

Deemed exports not getting created when excise invoice generated in backgro

Hi guys,
when i create an excise invoice in background .and try to create ARE-3 in J1IA301.I am getting a error (081091004/2009 excise invoice is meant for normal invoice).
when i create excise invoice manually and click on goto - utilization . The excise invoice type will be local .If i click on the pencil tab it will change to EXPORT and we can see DEEMED in blue color after this i will save and create ARE-3. ARE-3 gets generated.
while creating excise invoice in background the EXCISE INVOICE TYPE in J1IIN will be LOCAL and we will not be able to change after this when i try to create ARE - 3 IAM GETTINGTHE ERROR..
Please help me out of this..
As my client wants to create the excise invoice in background while billing document is created..

If you want to create excsie invoice in back ground while creating billing document for Deemed exports.
Please follow the navigation as mentioned below.
SPRO - Logistic General - Tax on goods movement - India - Business transaction - Out going Excise invoice - Maintain default Excise group and series group.
Here please maintain you Plant, Excise group & Series group for deemed exports sales area combination and export type as Deemed exports in *details screen*. Now system will create excise invoice for deemed exports in background while creating the billing document go to display excise invoice and see the utilization you get Deemed exports.
This will do for you.

Trigger is not getting disabled

I've a doubt on trigger concept.
I've one table REF_cGSC_T, On this 2 triggers are written
One is Blocking Delete operation Trigger
Second one is Replicating Trigger {means I/U/D Operation trigger}
So now for testing the second trigger(replicating trigger) i disabled the First trigger {blocking trigger)
But in testing the second trigger i'm getting the message "DELETE IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS TABLE"
Then i checked the status of the Blocking trigger, I was shocked to see the status is ENABLED....
Why it happens???? Do i need to do any changes to make my second trigger working properly....

did you check if Ttt.k_ttt.runTests enables the disabled trigger. because disabling trigger must work fine.

Resizing using Export not getting me to the size I need

I need to resize a jpg from my iPhoto library to 180x200 pixels. I have followed the forums suggestions, but can't get to this size ratio. Can this be done with iPhoto 6. Many Thanks,

My needs require the entire photo to be resized to the smaller 180 x 200. If it is cropped then parts of the photo will be lost. Can the photo be put in preview and altered? Or another application?
And the only way to do that is to crop it to 180x200 - if it is 300x200 (or any size other than 180x200) it is not 180x200 - and to get the aspect ratio to a set ratio you have to crop - by any application
There are two issues
- the aspect ratio which is a ratio and you could crop to 18x20 - or 9x10 - or and numbers that have the same ratio as 180x200 but cropping to the desired size is the easiest to explain
- and the pixel size - if the aspect ratio is 9x10 or 180x200 and you export with the largest pixel dimension being 200 your final photos will be 180x200
Setting a different aspect ratio means that the content of the photo has to be changed - you can not print a 4x6 photo on a 4x3 piece of paper - it is not physically possible

An installed Theme does not get disabled or even removed from the main body of the browser, only from the header.

After even uninstalling the all Themes and reverting to Default, the footer continues to display that one particular theme - Celestial. Concomitantly, against that dark background whenever the mouse cursor moves over a line in Gmail, the line turns White. Unreadable and irritating.
This happened before I updated to Firefox 12 and persists when I have updated to Firefox 13 today.
Firefox on my other desktop with the same Theme does not have this problem.
Grateful for any guidance in getting a solution.

Do you mean that you still see a persona at the bottom part of the browser window?

invoice is not getting posted to accounts, it is showing an error of foreign trade / export data. where as it is with in the country. it is maintained for the plants abroad stock transport order.

A stock transport order to a location overseas etails crossing national borders and change of legal regulations. hence you need to maintina FT data. Please check the FT data in the billing header and item and maintian them. They are simple items like customs offices meas of transport...
This will give you a green status from the red status you will initially have. Then you can post the invoice.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

Room Data not getting exported to excel file

Hello,
I am facing a small issue regarding collaboration rooms.
I created some Rooms and Created few Tasks in each room. I tried to export the task details in a excel file. For most of the rooms it is working fine but for few rooms either data is not getting exported or some data is missing in the generated excel file.I am working on EP 7.0 and all the rooms are created from the same user.
What could be the possible reason for such a behaviour ? Kindly Help me with this.

i believe you can use GUI_DOWNLOAD simply for this purpose.

I can not get my IE 8 favorites over to Firefox (ver.25.0.1) bookmarks even after exporting IE fav. to html file and then in Bookmarks importing thru Manager!!

using XP professional, have hundreds of Favorites in IE 8. I can not get them over into Firefox either directly from the Bookmarks Manager (show all bookmarks/import and backup/Import data from another browser OR by exporting the Favorites in IE 8 to a html file (did) and then coming back over to Firefox Bookmarks and using the Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/import and backup/import bookmarks from html file. I find the file, double click it open BUT nothing happens in the Bookmarks Library???
It is not a case on some come over - nothing happens??

Did you try a search in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) for some know bookmarks?
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

The memory in your computer needs to be 8GB or more, and you must have a 64 bit operating system (which can still happen even if your computer is less than 12 months old). What operating system do you have? Is it 32bits or 64bits?

Multiple PageHeader section does not get exported to ExcelRecord format

We are using Crystal Reports for VS 2005 in the web application that we are developing. We found that when are exporting the report to ExcelRecord, if the report has multiple PageHeader sections then only the content of the last section will get exported to the resulting excel file. It would be great help if you can tell me how to deal with it.
Note: We are using ExportToDisk to export the report to ExcelRecord format.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....
