AD2P Music Control Functionality not working

Hello,
I just paired my Q10 with my new Sony SBH-50 Bluetooth AD2P Adaptor.
The Adaptor correctly displays Music Titles from the Music Application, displays play/pause-state as controlled on the Blackberry, stops calls from the adaptor.
However,
I can not control the Music via the AD2P Adaptor, i.e. I cannot skip or replay, pause or play any music using the controlls on the Bluetooth Adaptor, as I could with prior Phones and Adaptors.
A Change between Play and Pause is displayed by the adaptor but does not happen in the Music Application.

Is it your adapter? I have a bluetooth headset which controls work with q5 as designed.

Not really sur easy you would be having that problem. Mine works. You might try RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost). Then try again and see if it makes a difference

Music control keys not working

Just recently the music control keys (the function keys 7-9) aren't working, all the other function keys work. The music control keys do not work even if I am in iTunes or if I set it to use function keys as standard function keys then try to fn use it. I have looked at other questions similar to this but they haven't fixed the problem. I just updated to Yosemite on Tuesday, I have turned my computer off twice since then and I restarted it today trying to fix the issue. I have a Macbook pro with retina. Thanks for the help.

HT5595 Lock screen and Bluetooth Music controls do not work

Immediately after installing IOS 7 (on about 9/19), I noticed that the lock-screen access to Music was not working. I could change the volume and timepoint of a song that was already playing, but the play/pause, forward and rewind buttons did not work. Some posters suggested that a restore would fix the problem, so I restored and am now at 7.0 (11A465). After the restore, the controls worked for a day or two, but stopped working again. And I've noticed that the same functions are not working with Bluetooth in my car.
BTW: the restore did not preserve the set of downloaded e-mail. Those messages are gone, so far as I can tell.

Mine work. Depending on the app being used, it may take several seconds for the play button to work. After that initial delay, you should be good to go.

The music controls are not working after updating to iOS 7!

After updating, the main music app is working fine, but the music player accessed through the lockscreen and the menu you pull up by swiping upwards is not working properly!!!!! The fastforward, rewind and play/pause buttons aren't responding at all! Volume and the pace bar works though...Please help!!!

i had a problem with my wifes iphone 4s, today morning while travelling to work i changed a setting on repeat option and changed it to repeat artist, it was fine until when i finish my work and on my way back i found songs are not playing anymore, lots of stop signs next to my song list, play/pause button not working, album arkwork keep moving from one to another on its own, so after i reach home i try to do some research on Apple support communities, try to soft reset my phone closing all the apps on background didnt work, also note that control centre music player was not working as well. none of the solutions worked. after trying for two hours i found out that the trouble is in repeat options , so i changed it from repeat artist to repeat off. and the music start playing as usual, but i still have those stop buttons next to the songs i tried to play earlier. At least it fixed temporarily. please also note that in the meantime i tried to sync my phone with the pc and suddenly its start syncing all the songs again assuming there were no songs on my iphone. so guys i think soft reset might not help all the time but try to remember what settings you changed recently and change it back to the original option, not sure ,but it might help. hopin this will help some of you out there. and i already feed it back to Apple, so hopefully they will fix it soon.

Not sure why you are having problems. I have had no problems with my 4S playing music after the update. Hopefully you will get it worked out.

Just thought I'd let you know. Our suspicions were correct, it was the OS. After I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8) all the problems were corrected. I also updated the RAM from 1 gb to 6 gb. The mac is working all around better. Sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. My superdrive had pooped out. Rather than replace it I got an external drive from OWC connected with firewire 800. So far everything is running very well, as far as I can tell this external drive is better than the original superdrive. My superdrive has always acted funny, infact I returned the first mac I got after a week because its superdrive was also malfunctioning. Anyway, all that to say everything seems to be fully functioning again.

I got file to file scenario in my production system, my poll interval for sender communication channel is one minute (60 seconds).
but some times i must manually stop and start the channel, the automatic control is not working.

Hi Praveen,
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve by using Automatic Control. This is mainly necessary when you want to use Scheduling functionality of the adapter. Other than that there is no major difference between Automatic Control or manual. Now if you are not able to use the scheduling of the file adapter properly, i.e. if the channel keeps on polling continuously, then you might want to re-create the channel in the production. i.e. create a new channel (you can copy the object) and delete the existing one. then refer this new one in the agreement. This should help.

Keyboard volume control does not work

I have an iMac G5, running OS 10.5.8, and a new Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. My keyboard volume control does not work. Any have ideas as to why ? (I have a similar set-up at work with no volume problems.)

Try system prefs/keyboard/keyboard/ and uncheck Use all F1, F2 etc as standard function keys.
Other wise the volume and brightness controls will only work if you hold down the function key first (fn)

can anyone tell me why all of a sudden iTunes will not proceed to the next song when playing music? Top left hand controls nor keyboard controls will not work either.
Reinstall of software does not help.

head into the main library screen. are all the little boxes to the left of the track names unchecked?
if so, hold down control and click one of the boxes to do a "recheck all". (this may take a wee while.)
after that, are you back getting continuous play again?

I have the Apple MC184LL/A Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard. The brigtness control works with mine, as do most of the other functions.
Try cycling the keyboard off and on. Hold the power button until the green LED goes out. Then press it one more time to turn it back on.
You might try resetting the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. Then you may need to reconnect your WiFi and Bluetooth.
If that doesn't help, try resetting/rebooting the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart in a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

Couple of clarifications, the rotation lock is not set. The controls are visible for video and other apps. Only the music screen does not rotate or show the controls.

My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World is working fine so I am sure its not an ID issue on the phone. I can sign into Link, Blackberry.com and Protect. I see my device in Protect but cannot send messages or view it on a map. Times out with cannot reach device message. BB Protect on Device has a swirling circle beside the on/of switch. Cannot turn off.
I have deleted Link and re-installed.
I have reset phone to default(factory) and signed in.

I managed to figure this out myself. I had to delete the device from the Blackberry Protect website. protect.blackberry.com. I wiped my device again and signed in with my Blackberry ID. I dont know if the step of wiping was necessary as I did not try my backup with the current configuration on the device following the delete. Restore is in progress for me!
