ADAA 12 month free subscription failed?

I just redeemed my 12 month free subscription to Creative Cloud that I got as an Adobe Design Achievement Award winner. I already have a creative cloud account, and I was expecting it to add to my subscription or make it free for the rest of my subscription period. Instead, it still says my next bill is the same date, and that my subscription ends at the same date. I need someone at Adobe to look at this for me if possible.

    Hi  Can someone please help me.  Yesterday I registered for Presto via the Telstra link for 6 months free subscription but unfortunately, for some reason, it would not accept my code.  Now I have a paid subscription for TV only for $9.99 per month.  Not Happy!!!  I only wanted to trial it to see if it was worth paying the $14.99p/m for TV & Movies. When I registered I used my personal gmail email address rather than my telstra email, could this be the reason?  Everytime I log on to telstra I need to use my .bigpond.net.au address so I am thinking it may not recognise the .gmail.com address as being linked to a Telstra account? Any feed back would be appreciated

    If the code doesn't work you might need to have a word with Presto support, because they have had a few issues and they are the only ones who can fix their system for you unfortunately. A lot of the information is listed on their version of Croudsupport which is their Presto Community page.

    I had the same rejection the first time. After looking online at Adobe I thought it was a billing issue, so managed to get that rectifed. I hadnt used a shared secret (as it hadnt shown up because, I thought, the billing wasnt setup correctly). After we corrected the billing, I had access to the shared secret which I have used. 
    Any ideas what else this could be?
    The app is a magazine app which is for free subscription. That's the inapp purchase. No folio in app purchases, because they are free. Sent with the first version on the magazine published, although Apple coulnt have got to it as the subscription time's out.
    Help! Because this is the second rejection, it's two weeks on and I am getting close to an event which I must have the app live for.

    Hi Neil,
    I used the guide to make the issue — so I think everything is in place.
    The first time around our billing wasn't setup so I didn't get to generate a shared secret. The second time I did.
    I generated the secret — which I can view under the in app purchase for the (free) subscription in manage in-app purchases. That code I pasted into the admin account iTunes Connect Shared Secret panel for the same customer ID (Account ID). I opened the Folio Producer Organiser afterward — how do you know it registers the code? I didn't see anything to indicate such.
    One thing — not sure if it's relevant — whenever the app fails it highlights in yellow the languages in the in-app purchase. I selected more languages this time to cover all the different kinds of English. Again, not sure if that's relevant?
    Plus when I click the link to view the app in the app store it says it’s not in the UK store and tries to switch to the US, which if you allow it then says it can’t find. I think this is because it’s not approved and the link will be good when that happens (hence I copied that into the section just below the shared secret on the DPS account admin panel).
    Honestly, I am a wee bit stumped now.

  • How to get 6 months free Xbox Music on Encore 8

    I've just got my tablet and I'm pretty impressed so far.
    The only query I have isn't really a support issue as such but it says it comes with 6 months free Xbox Music, there's nothing in the box to redeem.
    There's no mention of it in the Toshiba Places App and signing into the Xbox Music App on the device doesn't register me or add this subscription.
    Is there something missing from the box, or am I missing something obvious?

    I also read on Toshiba ENCORE WT8-A-103 specification page that this device comes with the +XBOX "to go"+ service. The Encore also comes with six months free access to Xbox music and provides unlimited access to millions of songs wherever you are.
    But the availability can vary by country and this detail should be checked with your dealer.

    If you use a giftcard this option isn't available.
    You had to make a subscription with your PayPal for example to use such special deals. But often such deals are only active for people who want to join Premium for the first time...

  • Have Adobe CC Complete for Students & Teachers but apps are telling me I'm on a free subscription

    I have had problems renewing my CC subscription, for the first month of renewing I lost my promo subscription because customer care couldn't give it back after suggesting that I cancel the current subscription. For the second month, my subscription couldn't be renewed no matter what card I used and had to have it cancelled again and get a new subscription. This time the customer service agent didn't remove the free subscription on my account and now all my apps and subscriptions are being reported as being on a free subscription!! I'm limited to 2GB of storage, edge inspect is reporting I need to upgrade if I try to add more than 1 device, typekit is telling me I'm on a free plan and photoshop and indesign is asking me to upgrade. Customer service is asking me to talk to technical support when it is clearly an account issue.
    CC is reporting I have only 2Gb of space when I'm supposed to have 20Gb
    Typekit is saying I have a free plan as well
    And edge inspect is also asking me to upgrade:
    Please, please help. I'm 1 week into my subscription and customer service is effing up big time.

    People, as we head into the weekend, this issue is still not resolved! I still don't understand why it is so damn difficult to just remove the trial version from my profile!
    If you are unable to remove the trial version from my profile, can you at least deactivate the Creative Cloud one year membership from this profile so that I can buy a one year membership using another Adobe account? Will that solve this problem? Pls ensure you don't screw this up....I don't wanna end up with 2 one year subscriptions, and then get billed twice a month.
    And yes, if you deactivate the one year CC subscription I purchased 7 days ago, I want a full refund too!

    With my brand new n95 8gb, I received a 3 month free license which I installed the first day of purchasing my phone.
    It was working fine for the first 2 days. Now on the third or fourth day, when I REALLY needed to use it, it has come up with a message saying:
    "Navigation Upgrade
    Voice-guided navigation is an extra service which needs to be activated for a selected region/period of time. Choose region and period of time in the next steps."
    The next steps offer only the options of paying money for a license. What's going on here? What happened to the 3 month license? Why did it suddenly disappear?
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    eon64 - You hit the nail on the head....
    I was given a license key but it kept being rejected with "Invalid License Code".
    After several phone calls, some Einstein in Nokia was finally clever enough to figure out my phone was shipped from Honkers and I was in Australia - The 3-month license I got 'in the box' was specific to South-East Asia, EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS NOTHING OF THE KIND ANYWHERE THAT I CAN SEE.
    Hmmm, so if I was driving around Hong Kong I would be fine.
    Kind of annoyed that:
    a) It didn't say anything about the region in printed material,
    b) Nokia support took so long to realise this quite simple fact...
    AND, to rub salt into the wound, Nokia maps subscription tripled in price while I was trying to get my free trial!!!
    Grrr, one very angry Nokia user here...
    Anyway, I didn't _know_ about the free trial when I ordered, so I am not going to kick up a fuss about it.
    Pretty poorly handled all round by Nokia however...
    Give the stand-alone Navigator market 6-12 months and you'll be able to buy one that will last you a few years for the price of 12-months on Nokia maps...
    Really stupid that they destroyed its price-competitiveness... I guess they had to fund all those ads on TV and buses from somewhere...

    No need to cancel.  Since it's free, you're not really 'subscribed.'  To subscribe to one plan or another, all you'll need to do is log into your account on the Skype website.  Navigation to a subscription plan is easy from there.

    HI Cadebrewer, if you have a current subscription to Spotify you can manage it through your Subscription page. If you don't see an option to cancel then:
    1) Did you ever enter any payment information when you signed up for your trial? If not, then don't worry. You can't be charged, no need to cancel. 
    2) Is it saying it will charge you $12.99? This means your subscription is through the App Store and you will need to cancel your Spotify subscription through there.
