My customer has an ESA C170 appliance in production and he wants to try the AMP funcionality.
How can I get an Adavanced Malware Protection AMP demo license for the Email security Appliance C170.

You will need to get the following feature key applied from GLO, avail in 1Y, 3Y, and 5Y...
GLO should also be able to provide a 30-day temp/trial key, if requested.
You will need to reach out to GLO and request the demo license/feature key to be added to the serial, if hardware - or to the virtual license number (VLN) if a virtual appliance.

    Hello, it may be bug or something like that, but the fact is that when I try to get demo licenses for CUCM 10.0 via cisco.com/go/license and choose licenses for 10.x I get licenses for 9.x versions.
    Where can I get demo licenses for CUCM 10.x or may be convert demos for 9.x?

    We installed CUCM 10 more than a month ago, made integration with CUCM 9 and Avaya and then there were many holidays in Russia and nothing was done for testing purposes, but Cisco Licensing Team ([email protected]) helped me a lot and i got some demo licenses

         Bug Report:
         System: Yoga Tablet Pro-1380F, Android Version 4.4.2, YT2-1380F_USR_S000219_1504281410_WW21_ROW
         After opening the previously installed Lenovo Companion App, 1.3.0.0215, it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the latest version, 1.4.0.0518. I was interested in the 8 new diagnostic tools, so I did the update through the prompts. After I did the update, and rebooted, I launched the app. It "looked" OK, until I tried to run the diagnostics. The entire Companion App crashed.
         I then un-installed the app, and rebooted. I went to the Google Play Store, and searched for the Lenovo Companion app. I was surprised to see that "This app is not compatible for your device". To recover (get back to version 1.3.0.0215) I needed to download that version, using the link given in post # 6 by supersmp.
         Now, whenever I launch the app, it prompts me for the update, but at least the version 1.3.0.0215 diagnostic tools work.
         So, mostlyhuman, my advise is to wait until this bug is worked out. If you want the app, try the 1.3.0.0215 version in post # 6, above.

  • Demo License key issue in Cisco Content Secuirty managment Virtual appliance

    Hi,
    I have installed a Cisco content security management appliance for customer evaluation. I have downloaded 45 day demo license key but unable to update the license key neither in GUI nor in CLI. I have referred installation guide and user guide but did not helped at all.

    Would suggest to re-copy and paste the XML license - as most likely you have extra white space that is causing the malform when pasting/loading.  If using Windows, try avoid using wordpad --- and use Notepad++ or similar.

  • Problem with Demo License

    Hi,
    I install the version 6 update 2 on my Solaris 7 sparc, with the demo license. But when I try to use cc I got this error
    License Error : Licensing product (Sun WorkShop Compiler C SPARC).
    License File:
    /opt/SUNWspro/bin/../WS6U2/bin/../../license_dir/sunpro.lic,node
    License file does not support this version
    Feature:workshop.c.sparc
    Application version > License version:6.000000 > 5.000
    FLEXlm error:-21,126.

    Please check and make sure your license file
    "sunpro.lic,node" is indeed having the demo
    license Forte 6 Update 2.
    It appears from these errors that this may not be
    the case.

  • Cisco UCCX 9.0.2.10000-71 - Demo License Issues

    Hello Cisco Support,
    I have installed Cisco Unified Contact Express 9.0.2.10000-71 on a Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server and have used the demo license that comes with the ISO Image on the server. After install, I have used the Premium Demo License. I have integrated UCCX 9.0 with CUCM 8.6(2) SU2. 
    I can say that everything worked fine until I wanted to test the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD), Cisco Supervisor Desktop (CSD) and Cisco Agent IP Phone Service.
    I am pretty much sure that the configuration on either the CUCM, UCCX is set up correctly but I might miss something.
    When I tried to fire up the CAD or CSD, I am getting the following error message: "A licensing error has occurred. Please try again in five minutes. If the problem persists, please see your log files or System Administrator for details". then followed by License Server is down.
    I have also setup Agent IP Phone Service on the CUCM and each time I select the Service on the IP Phone, an error stating that could not connect to the IP Phone Agent Service.
    Below is the information for my setup:

    How do I go about turning off the the SYN Flood Detection Mode state in Option 2 on the UCCX Server.
    Option 2: Turn off SYN Flood detection mode. Risk: Leaves the server open to SYN Flood.
    I have checked and my Windows XP SP3 computer where Cisco Agent Desktop is installed has Windows Firewall set to off at the moment.

  • Unable to Migrate WCS Database to NCS with Demo License

    I have NCS 1.1.0.58 running on a VM with a demo license, should I be able to migrate my WCS 7.0.230.0 database to NCS?  I can not tell if the  migration process worked and there are no objects in NCS.  I have attached a console capture of the migration console messages.

    You have probably thought of this already but, If the tables are the same in both sides why don't you just work out the population order and export directly from Access into the empty oracle tables using ODBC?
    The way I do it is to create transition tables in oracle then have a script to load the tables and do some validation and error checking.

  • UCCX 10.6.1 - Expired, Auto-generated Demo license crashing MCVD-LIB_LICENSE startup process?

    Anybody else experiencing this?
    I upgraded from version 9.0.x to 10.6.1 at the end of December.  It generated a Demo License (that wasn't needed) during the upgrade, which expired on Feb 27th.
    I restarted the engine on the HA node last night, and it won't start up now.
    On start-up, MCVD Log shows: 
    6953: Mar 09 10:55:03.978 EDT %MCVD-LIB_LICENSE-7-UNK:General Runtime Error in using m_FlexlmParser details are : Exception=java.lang.NullPointerException
    The process stops reading/parsing licenses after this and acts like it would if it had no license.
    Good thing this wasn't my primary engine.

    That's what I ended up having to resort to.  I had numerous demo licenses across the years because of rapid expansion of call volume (agent seat temp licenses to act as a bridge gap while permanent licenses were purchased and delivered).
    It ended up being caused by two demo licenses that expired on the same day, it seems.
    Just to add to your answer though... DO NOT DELETE THEM FROM THE GUI.  This will put your engines out of service until all offending files are deleted, and may require a reboot even then.

  • UCCX 9.x - Problem to upload DEMO License on vmware install

    I am trying installing the UCCX 9.X in VMWare machine and am searching the following problem:
    Enter a license or zip file name
    License File*
    Validating uploaded license file... 
    Warning: No valid license feature lines found in the uploaded license(s).
    Validation completed.
    The license cannot be added because, either the license config repository cannot be accessed or the license is invalid. Please specify a valid product license to continue.
    The demo license was download from Cisco, and I used the license MAC to generate the license.
    Any have Idea about this issues? Where stay the config repository?

  • CUCMBE5K - 8.5.1 Node Demo License

    Hi all,
    I have a CUCMBE5K platform that has an issue where the Node License is running as a Demo license. I do not know how long it has been in this state since I have just recently started a new job. According to this article, a demo license that is used in production on 8.5.1 does not have a time limit, but it will limit the system to 50 DLU's.
    On my platform, it appears there are 260 DLU's currently active which have a status of uploaded. What I'm trying to find out is, what are the true limitiations of the node demo license? We are getting ready to open a new office and I am concerned that I will not be able to continue adding DLU's to the system until the node license is resolved. I have had extreme difficulty in trying to get a partner to supply us with a proper node license.

    I'm using a HP MCS 7845 server with CME 7.1 in demo license mode. Also I have 5 7960 phones. So, can I use all the features such as SRST to practice for the voice exams with the demo license ?

  • Can I use ISE demo license for wireless purposes???

    Hi all.
    We want to try an ISE deployment with one or two WLC and the license twe want to use initially is the demo embedded in the ISE appliance. We don't know whether we can do it because demo license covers base and advanced capabilities but not wireless (at least in administration/licensing this box shows "not installed" leyend) and we don't know whether a demo tape of wireless solution will work with this type of licensing; if not, is it possible to get a demo wireless license for ISE?

  • CUCM Licensing/ordering and demo licenses

    Hello,
    I am trying to setup a lab with CUCM and trying to figure out the process to place an order for CUCM. I know that you need DLU licneses for each phone, however do I need to buy a base license in addition to that? How does it work?
    Also, does CUCM come with a demo license which I can use for my lab without ordering any additional licenses??
    What are my options?
    I alos tried to search the part/product numbers for CUCM ordering but was not able to find them on Cisco site. I am interested in buying CUCM 7.x.

    This comes with licensing for 2 Nodes, Software (DVD's) and 100 DLU's which
