Adapter Engine drop down blank while creating Reciever RFC Comm Channel

Hi,
I am trying to create a Receiver RFC Communication Channel. But the dropdown for Adapter Engine is not showing "Integration Server" option as it shows when we create IDOC or XI Receiver Adapter communication channels.
Any help will be great.

this might the some error in post intallation.please revisit ur post installation steps,paricularly the adpater engine,wher u need to specify the adapters which requires the integration server.

Dear XI gurus
I have just installed XI server and also did the configuration and everything seems to work fine. I did SLD configuration, mapping etc.,
Then went to Configuration module and am trying to create a sender communication channel (Adapter Type RFC).
The Transport Protocol and Message Protocol fields got automatically filled by 'RFC' and 'RFC (RFC XML)' respectively.
However Adapter Engine field is showing up blank and when I try to select from the drop down menu, it is also blank.
I did search for other postings and tried the following as per the suggestions
Went visual administrator (by clicking on go.bat) and made sure that the cluster->Service and all the services needed for SAP XI Adapters are up and running
I would appreciate if you have any other feedback on this problem.

Meanwhile I also followed tech note 1031321 which said the following.
2. To register the Adapter Engine, you have to restart the following applications:
sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app
sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.cpa.app,
But this didn't help. I will try your suggestion

Restricting values on the drop down list, while creating a PO

Hello SAP Experts,
Could you help me with the following.
While creating a PO (ME21N), based on the Account Assignment Category(KNTTP) entered , I have to restrict the values in the drop down list for selecting the material group (MAKTL). I have searched some in SDN, but couldn't find anything suitable. Appreciate any help.

Creating SOAP Receiver comm.channel for axis web service

Hi,
I created Soap Receiver comm. channel fro Axis web service like below:
*Target URL* : http://<IP>:<Port>/<x>/service
*User:* <user>
*Password :* <password>
*SOAP Action:* <target namespace>/method
when i drive PI Message that use Soap Receiver it get error below
I do same method for .Net web service, it runs properly.
How can i solve this problem?

Adapter engine field blank in RFC Comm channel (Sender)

I am not getting any value in drop-down list of adapter engine in RFC adapter sender communication channel.System is allowing me to save the comm channel , system is giving me following error
No adapter engine specified
I m getting values of adapter engine when I select some other adpter like XI.

Hi,
The RfcAdapter is implemented as a J2EE Service and thus this service has to be started and stopped. This will affect the whole RfcAdapter and can be done from the J2EE Engines Visual Administrator. When you are connected to the J2EE Engine choose the tab 'Cluster' and open the appropriate server node in the tree. Then open the 'Services' node. There you can see the entry 'SAP XI Adapter: RFC'. When you open the context menu on this entry you can start and stop the service

Why does search engine drop down menu only works once?

I'm quite happy with the new Safari 4 (first time user) but I'm frustrated by only being able to select once with my mouse from the 'Recent Searches' drop down window.
Let me explain. After I launch Safari 4, I'm able to use my mouse and select one of the recent searches in the drop down menu in the normal fashion - go to an item on the menu and press the LH mouse button.
However, after I've done this once, I can't do it again. When I select an item from the list and click my LH mouse button, the search window goes blank. The previous Google search results stay the same. If I highlight an item from the drop down menu and press the Enter key on the keyboard, it works fine. A mystery!
The funny part is that it works fine on my other laptop.
I've unistalled and reinstalled twice but with no success. When I do reinstall, my previous preferences/settings are still there. Where's the preference file so I can delete it? Don't know, but this might help my problem.
Anyone else seen this problem?

What happened to the search engine drop down menu

I am using Firefox 32.0.3. There used to be a drop down search engine menu on Firefox. Has it been removed from the latest version or is there some settings adjustment I can make to get it back? Thanks for any feedback.

Hi brianvt, if you find the new design less productive, it is possible to switch back to the old search bar. Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box that appears above the list, type or paste '''search''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.search.showOneOffButtons''' preference to switch it from true to false
This doesn't affect the current window, but each new window you open (Ctrl+n) will have the old Search bar.

No Search engines listed in the Manage Search Engine drop down

After the most recent update 15.0.1 I have NO SEARCH ENGINES on my computer None listed in the drop down menu under "manage search engines" Everything is greyed out so I can't add anything

Do you still see the default search engines in the searchplugins folder in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\)?
If not then you need to reinstall Firefox.
You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected whenever you uninstall Firefox.

Item info gets blanked while creating RFx response

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue while creating the RFx response (SRM 7.0).
when I try to create a Bid, the item info (required quantity and Unit) gets blanked and this fields are blocked.
Did any one faced any similar issue. Any possible solutions.

As you do not have info record, then tax code defaulted in the Purchase order by maintaining condition record only with your material (may be with other criteria)which you said item number 10.More details on default tax code, check link:

Muse will not open any drop down menus while in design mode.Screen just flickers.

I downloaded the new update and while in design mode in muse in one of my pages I cannot access any drop down menus like for example choosing fonts hyperlinks ect.I cannot do any of it I uninstalled and re-installed 3 times I don't know it this is a graphics issue or not how can fix this?

Are you using Windows 8 or 8.1 ?
The Muse 2014 release is incompatible with 125% Display scaling via the Windows Control Panel in Windows 8 and 8.1. The only workaround is to switch to 100% or 150% Display scaling.

Drop down menus to create multiple variables.

Hi Everyone,
I'm very new to scripting so I apologize ahead of time for my "newbieness".
I would like to have a dropdown box that, depending on the item chosen, can set several variables. Then I would like to use those variables for other calculations throughout the form.
BTW...this is for a character sheet I'm creating....I know...nerdy...but hey I OK with it :-)
For example:
The character sheet has 6 variables that are affect the rest of the sheet...."vSTR", "vINT", "vCHR", "vWIS", "vDEX", "vCON".
Let's say I have a drop down box with choices "Elf", "Dwarf" and "Human"...
...if "Elf" is chosen it will set the "vDEX" to 2 and the "vCON" to -1....the other variables would not be used....or set to 0.
...if "Dwarf" is chosen it will set the "vCON" to 2 and the "vCHR" to -2...the other variables would not be used....or set to 0.
...if "Human" is chosen all of the variables would not be used....or set to 0.
So:
1. I'm not sure how to create the drop down box.
2. How do I accomplish the above example.
3. I know how to do a simple calculation but how do you script a more complex calculation with parenthesis ....ex... A*((B+C)/(D-E))?
Thanks in advance for helping. Once I see it I can usually go from there...getting started is where I get stuck. I really admire coders :-)

Why is the browser hijacker Vosteran listed in the search engine drop down menu?

New download of Firefox 33.1 has a known browser hijacker listed in the drop down menu. It took me several hours to remove it's damaging files and get any browser to work correctly again. This is insane!

Company code field blank while creating new shopping cart

Hi ,
We are in SRM5.0.When we try to create shopping cart , the company code is not getting defaulted even though default attributes are maintained in PPOMA_BBP under BUK.We have a classic scenario.
Please throw some light to this problem.

It all depends where in the org you've created your Purchasing Organisation.
I tend to create my structure as follows:
Root
       --> Company
             --> Department 1
             --> Department 2
             --> Department 3
             --> Purchasing Department
                  --> Local Purchasing Org
                        --> PG1
                        --> PG2
                        --> PG3
                  --> Backend Purchasing Org
                        --> PG1
                        --> PG2
                        --> PG3
I then maintain the attributes at the Company level.

Error while creating a RFC model for WD for Java

While trying out the example(TutWD_FlightList_Init.zip) for model programming in the NDS,I got the following error when I try to create a model:

I modified the xml file as described in the forum.But the error persists.
One interesting thing is:
When I create model after restarting the NDS,I get the following error:

Where do I get the 620.0.1374 version of librfc?
