Adapter Engine monitoring doesn't show messages

I have 2 scenarios
1. Synch HTTP -> Synch RFC
2. Synch HTTP -> Synch BPM -> Synch RFC
In case 1 Adapter Engine monitoring shows all messages correctly
In case 2 there is no entry for HTTP Sender system only BPM->SAP System.
Could you help me why RWB doesn't show it?

denis,
just to add to what moorthy has told. IDOC and HTTP adapters interact directly with the INTEGRATION ENGINE on the ABAP STACK while, the other adapters interact with the ADAPTER ENGINE available on the J2EE STACK.
That is why, you do not gind the same on the RWB --> ADAPTER MONITORING.
Also, the reason why you do not have a SENDER HTTP and IDOC adapter.

  • Reg: Error in adapter Engine Monitoring

    Hi Guys,
In my RFC to File Scenario i got error as Adapter message property was configured was mandatory element but there is no Dynamic ocnfiguration elementin XI MEssage Header. This is occur in adapter engine monitoring in RWB.
    Thanks

This error comes if you there is a problem in passing the file via dynamic configuration
for this if you want temporary solution like filename not necessarily be dynamic then go to receiver file adapter then
adapter specific message attributes deselect filed Failif file name does not.... sme option where you can uncheck the failure option
and in this case need to provide the filename and file will get generated with this filename if there is no filename generates using dynamic configuration
for this to resolve permanently then check the filename is passed or not  to file adapter in moni in dynamicconfiguratuoin tab of callAdapter pipeline service

  • CCMS Adapter Engine monitoring

    Hi,
CCMS has been configured in our land scape long back. this configuration gets data from adapter engine and display it. We need to modify this. When we checked the configuration all Integration engine errors are being gathered using standard MTE classes and respective auto reaction methods are set.
But where as for Adapter engine monitoring a custom MTE's are created in below format.
    <SID>\<SID> 00 Serv 2345672 pidev\Services\Adapter Framework\Messaging System\Sender Services\BS_Econ\Error Backlog
This has no standard method assigned to it. Searched over SDN, no GRMG is configured for polling this data. Please help in understanding how data can be polled for CCMS with out a method?

    Hi ,
please check the below link for GRMG configuration steps and check the SAP Note 634771.

  • RWB-Adapter Engine-Monitoring calling url of shorthost name

    Hi,
I am familiar with where to set the domain name or short names for XI within the various connection settings
in the Exchange Profile. Does anyone know where the adapter engine monitor settings are stored? We are suddenly getting errors for http://host:52100/mdt/AmtServlet but if I put the FQDN in a new browser window it works fine. But the developers
here are unable to post to the adapter....
    Thanks so much in advance...
    Jim

    Hi James,
FQDN is essential not only for RWB but for other components of WAS as well. Launch XI page wiht sxmb_ifr and check if it displays FQDN. Else follow the complete FQDN activation procedure as below.
    1. In RZ10, add the parameter icm/host_name_full in instance profile.
    2. Restart your system and follow note 764176 for changing SLD associations. This is important.
    3. For adapter engine, apply note 804124.
    Follow the complete procedure.

  • Exporting processed messages from adapter engine monitoring to excel

    Hey experts,
I have some messages that are processed successfully. I can see them in the message monitoring for adapter engine in the RWB. I want to know if there is a way to export these messages to excel file.
Also we have a files archived by PI with a .001 extension attached to them. Is there a way to open these files and look at the processed messages?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards.

I can see them in the message monitoring for adapter engine in the RWB. I want to know if there is a way to export these messages to excel file.
I don't think so.But you can right click.Select View Source. And then save the message in a notepad.
Also we have a files archived by PI with a .001 extension attached to them. Is there a way to open these files and look at the processed messages?
I don't get this! You can open these files by doing a right click.Open with wordpad.

  • Adapter Engine Monitoring

I have simple file to file scenario.
Message monitoring shows duplicated entries for each message
    For example
    Sender   | Receiver | Interface
    System1  |          | Interface1
    System1  | System2  | Interface1
Could you explain this strange behavior?

"I thought Adapter Engine and Integration Engine stores messages in 2 different places. Is it correct?".
    Yes you are correct.
I Still believe that there are some other Config scenarios(Incomplete may be) using the same adapter name for the sender adaptor, in your Integration Directory.
In Adapter monitoring, you will see all the messages that arrive at the specified Adapter.
The messages in SXMB_MONI will show only those messages which pass through the adapter.

    Ravi

  • J2SE adapter engine monitoring.

    Hi,
I have setup GRMG monitoring for a J2SE adapter engine in our landscape. I have set up a HTTP RFC destination in SM59. In the HTTP RFC destination, type H, I have specified the "Target Host" (FQHN) the "Service No." (8200 default J2SE installation port) and a "Path Prefix" (/rtc). The security is set to Basic and I have used a PIRWBUSER that I have setup on the J2SE Adapter Engine with role Administator. In the GRMG template I insert the RFC destination.
I have also inserted the ID, ESR, RWB, SLD and the Central Adapter framework of the PI system in the GRMG template, then deployed the template on the monitoring server. I am able to successfully monitor the other components except for the J2SE adapter.
I have to concede that when I test the RFC destination to the J2SE adapter it does not work. I think the J2SE adapter is up, as I can connect to the administrator. Even when I put the url ("host:port/rtc") for the J2SE adapter in my browser, it then request to login. After I have logged in, it gives a error "The Page can not be found".
It would be most appreciated if someone can shed some light on this issue.
    Regards
    Willie Hugo

    FTS SAP Basis,
Thanks for that advice. However once I have set the "Accept cookies" to "Yes", and once again I do a "Connection Test", the result I get "ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED". Also remember when I try to connect to the URL "http://host:8200/rtc", it requests a login, but then display "The page can not be displayed".
    Any other suggestions are welcome.
    Regards
    Willie Hugo

  • Apple mail search doesn't show messages

I can normally search for sent and received emails by entering a persons email address in the search field with the spyglass icon, since last week I haven't been able to do this even though all messages show up in the inbox and sent folders. Is there a setting that I might have accidentally changed?

    Step 1
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    syslog -F '$Time $Message' -k Sender mdworker -o -k Message Rne Norm -k Sender mds | tail | pbcopy
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
The command may take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear.
The output of the command will be automatically copied to the Clipboard. If the command produced no output, the Clipboard will be empty. Paste into a reply to this message.
The Terminal window doesn't show the output. Please don't copy anything from there.
If any personal information appears in the output, anonymize before posting, but don’t remove the context.
    Step 2
Enter the following command as in Step 1 and post the output:
    mdutil -as 2>&- | pbcopy
    You can then quit Terminal.
    Step 3
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Terminal. In the Console window, look under the heading DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION on the left for crash reports related to Spotlight. If you don't see that heading, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. A Spotlight crash report has a name beginning in "mds" or "mdworker" and ending in ".crash". Select the most recent such report, if any, from the System and User subcategories and post the entire contents—the text, please, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post any other kind of diagnostic report, such as hang logs—they're very long and not helpful.

  • Thunderbird doesn't show messages older than 7 days

I installed Thunderbird on Windows7, and connected it to our company IMAP. It downloaded the mails correctly, but after using it for more than a week I noticed the inbox only shows messages up to 7 days old. I checked all sorts of forums and help sites, but nothing seems to answer my question as to what could be causing this and how I can solve it.
My settings seem to be correct to see all messages stored on the machine (something that happens automatically in for example Mac Mail):
In Account Settings under Synchronization & Disk Space the option to save messages on this computer is checked, all messages are synchronized locally and nothing is deleted.
In Inbox all messages are displayed. Also, under my account on C:// I can find all previous emails, so they are stored, Thunderbird is just not showing them in my inbox...
Would be great if this could be fixed!
    Thanks.

    Please follow steps as below...
    1. Open http://server.domain.ext:5XX00/dir/start/index.jsp (Please modify according to your server name, domain URL and Port)
    2. Navigate and open Runtime Workbench after you log on
    3. Navigate and open Message Monitoring
    4. Select appropriate Messages from Component: and From
    5. You will able to see Refresh button then |  View: and Time:
    5. Drop down Time: and you will able to do selection there Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly...
Please let me know if you have any other question.

  • How can I get rid of a search engine that doesn't show up in my list of search engines?

I installed a toolbar from Inboxdollars and since then every time I search for something it uses as my search engine something associated wit yahoo called serp.freecause.com and then I get the "problem loading page" message because it can't find the server at that address. I've uninstalled the toolbar and even took yahoo off my list of search engines. But nothing gets rid of it. Any suggestions?

I ran a complete scan with Norton Antivirus. Cleaned the Registry, history, temporary files and did a Virus Scan. It actually worked. I did not install anything to get this, but used an unprotected Wireless network and I think that/s how I picked it up.

  • H:Message doesn't show message

In my bean, I do some check and add message to FacesContext ,

    here are my source:
    in java source:
    FacesContext ctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ctx.addMessage(null, new FacesMessage("No such postcode"));

navigate it to error pageHow are you doing it? Sounds like that you're creating a new request instead of doing a redirect. This will reset the "old" messages. I am not sure but you might try to redirect using requestDispatcher.
