Dear All,
I am having the same issue if I access the Lotus Domino server from OIM 9.1 using port 63149 and "Is Secure = Yes" then i get the error as
"Could not get the IOR from Domino server : http://192.xxx.xxx.xx:63149/diiop_ior.txt"
where as i am able to open the fowwoloin addresses form browser:
https://192.xxx.xxx.xx:63149/diiop_ior.txt
http://192.xxx.xxx.xx:63148/diiop_ior.txt
Now if I make "Port =63148" and "Is Secure = No" then I get the following error:
"You are not allowed to update the certifier log (XXXX)"
I have checked the rights of the "Administrator SYSTEM" on the "certlog.nsf" it has manager rights.
+++++thanks+++++

  • Naming convention for Lotus Notes folders in Mail adapter

    Hi,
I am trying to configure a sender Mail adapter to pull messages from Lotus Notes then move the email to a 'processed' folder in Lotus Notes.
Retrieving the email work fine (I am using IMAP) however when it tries to move the email to the processed folder, it says 'Mailbox does not exist', no matter what I specify in the input field for 'Folder for deleted messages'
Could somone please tell me what the syntax is to specify a folder called 'processed' that I have created under the Folders branch in Lotus Notes?
    thanks for any help,
    Brian

    Hi Brian,
I don't think the Mail adapter would be a nice choice for you to complete your scenario. First of all, the Lotus Notes is a document-oriented database. The mail adapter or JDBC adapter can not communicate with the Lots Notes database efficiently. Or you will have a lot of problems to handle the Notes views, folders, fields, just like your question here.
If you have a lot of integration scenarios with the Lotus Notes, maybe the following information could be interesting for you: http://www.conetweaversuite.com. We have built a specific adapter for the Lotus Notes.
BTW: If you open the email database in the Notes Designer, you can find out the alias name for your u201Cprocessedu201D folder. Maybe you should enter this name in the mail adapter.
    Best regards
    Xiang

  • Inbound UMS Adapter Issues with Receiving Emails from Lotus Notes

    Hi,
I have this requirement in my project where I need to read the mails from a particular Email Account which has been created in Lotus Notes. The IMAP Host and port is enabled for the same and I am setting all these in my Server's EM Console UMS Driver settings. I have provided all the Details required for Incoming Email Driver setup like: IncomingMailID, IncomingMailServer, Port, Server Type: IMAP, IncomingMailIDs etc. I have followed all the steps mentioned in regular UMS Adapter Documentation and Blogs.
I can see that Soa-infra is able to access all the mails from this mail Account and I can see the same in the managed server log files also. But the issue is with the BPEL Process which I have created with the Inbound UMS adapter. This process has UMS inbound adapter with the Email address same as the one defined in UMS Configuration in EM Console.
The Process is not getting triggered at all whenever a new mail comes to the mail id. I am not sure what is the issue. If anyone has faced similar issue please let me know the solution for the same.
Also 1 strange thing I observed is, if I go to the Soa-infra proerties-> Human Workflow Management and Test the notification by sending mail to the IncomingMailId, the Process is getting triggered, but if I send a mail from any other gmail/any other account to the IncomingMailID set in Process and server, the Process is not getting triggered.
In the logs I see the following Error messages which I don't think would be impacting the Process to receive messages as soa-infra is able to pick the messages without any issues.

  • OIM 11.1.1.5.4, Lotus Notes 8.5.1 update AlternativeName/Language error

    Hello experts!
We have faced issue with OIM and Lotus Notes integration.
    Here is configuration:
    OIM host:
    OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
    Weblogic: 10.3.5.0
    SOA: 11.1.1.5.0
    OIM: 11.1.1.5.4
    Lotus Notes host:
    OS: SUSE Linux 2.6.16.60-0.21-default
    Lotus Notes: 8.5.1
For integration, we used OIM Lotus Notes/Domino connector version 9.0.4.12.0 because:
    1. In OIM Lotus Notes/Domino connector version 9.0.4.14.0 documentation described bug 11693279, that provisioning fails if you update the Alternate Full Name, Alternate Full Name Language.
    2. In OIM Lotus Notes/Domino connector version 11.1.1.5.0 documentation there is nothing about provisioning or updating user's the Alternate Full Name, Alternate Full Name Language fields.

We can't figure out why we get "Notes error: An improperly formed name was encountered" error, so experts, please adwise!
P.S. As said before, in OIM Lotus Notes/Domino connector version 9.0.4.14.0 documentation described bug 11693279, which is matching exactly to our problem, could it be that documentation for previous connector version (9.04.12.0) lacks information about this bug?

    Regards,
    Kevin

Can you please try to do the following in the steps .
    1) Search for the file nslbe.dll which can be in the folder c:\program files\notes . Add the location to the PATH variable in the environment variables.
    2) Go to the installation folder for Lotus notes which might be c:\program files\Lotus\Notes\jvm\lib\ext . In this folder please put the following files Notes.jar,mail.jar,activation.jar, nslbe.dll. Please do take care that you will need to add the files in the folder ..\jvm\lib\ext
    3) Add the ..\jvm\lib\ext folder location to your environment variables.
    4) Create a environment variable JAVA_HOME and add the location of the jre-bin,lib and the JDK-bin,lib to this.
Restart your Server and the system where in you want to install the connector and try to run the installation again .

  • SAP XI and Lotus Notes

    Hello,
Is there a best approach followed now to integrate XI and Lotus notes. We have a requirement to create a lotus notes document from SAP R3 using XI.
Any suggestions and successful implementations please...
    Thank you
    Thilothama

    Hello Thilothama,
if you apply SAP XI to connect to Lotus you may leverage the following adapters:
    - HTTP
    - SOAP
    - XINotes (partner adapter)
the choice depends on how much effort you want to spend on the Lotus side.
In case of HTTP you simply develop an agent that processes the request XML. This can be done fairly easy - however this is a proprietary solution since you kind of hard-code the formats.
In case of SOAP you need a little more work. If you use Lotus Domino R6 you also manually have to take case of SOAP request parsing (e.g. using the Microsoft SOAP toolkit or some java-based parser). If you use R7 this is easier since SOAP processing is implemented as part of Domino. Then, your interface is described using a WSDL and this can optionally also be published via a UDDI registry.
In case of XINotes you don't need any work on Lotus since the XINotes adapter is based on NCSO - this means the adapter directly understands notes forms and notes views.
Regarding the payload XML you process via HTTP or SOAP you may leverage DXL. DXL is easy to process on Domino since you can use the DXL Importer classes to directly create/update/modify notes documents within 2 codelines. On the other hand: if you use DXL the sender system should already prepare the DXL - so it needs lots of information regarding your notes DB (replica ID etc).
If you need more tangible experiences you may also contact me directly.
    Regards
    Michael

  • Cannot perform authentication in Lotus notes portlets

    Hello again,
I have managed to setup an external application for Lotus Notes portlet for
9.0.2.0.1 AS. By clicking the login button I can access my Lotus Domino mail!
However, when I registered the Lotus Notes Provider (its test page runs fine),
associated its authentication model with my ext. app, and then tried to access the
portlets I keep getting messages about "user authentication failed".
    Actually my log file reads:

    page also appears without problems.
    Thanking you in advance,
    Serafeim.

This may be happening because the configured Lotus Notes External Application does not have the Lotus Domino Username, Password and MailFilename entries. Please click on the "Update Login Information" link and supply these values. You should be able to see the Lotus Notes portlets now.
    Thanks,
    Geeta

    Sunny,
I figured out the problem... Wrong configurations. See what I did:
    a) Reviewed the explanation below about the paramater certifierOU of Lotus Notes ITRes, so I set it to empty.
certifierOU Specifies the OU of the certifier to be used when creating user accounts If you use a certifier on the target system, then you must specify the certifier OU value. If
you do not have a certifier on the target system, then leave this parameter field empty.
If there are multiple certifiers on the target system, then you must create one IT resource (of the Lotus Notes IT resource type) for each certifier. Refer to Oracle Identity Manager
Design Console Guide for information about creating IT resources. If you specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is ignored during the creation of a DN for a new user account.
If you do not specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is used in the DN. This feature ensures that only one OU value
    is included in the DN.
If you specify a value for the certifierOU IT resource parameter, then user records for which the certifier OU value in the DN does not match the certifierOU parameter value are not
reconciled. This is because the user DN is used to match records in the target system and Oracle Identity Manager, and a difference in the certifier OU value would lead to a
mismatch in DN values. The following example illustrates this type of scenario:
Suppose a user account on Lotus Notes has the following DN:
    CN=John Doe/OU=testcertou/O=test/C=US
If testcertou has not been assigned as the value of the certifierOU parameter for any of the IT resources created on this Oracle Identity Manager installation, then the records of this
user cannot be reconciled into Oracle Identity Manager.
    Sample value: NY
    b) The MailServer paramater was win2k3base/oimdev and I've changed it to CN=win2k3base/O=oimdev.
    c) As the certifierOU is clear now, so I have to inform the Orgnation Unit field in the process form.
    Thanks.

    Hi
I'm integrating Lotus Notes 8.0.5, my issue is about changin passwords, actually I can change password from OIM 11g user self-service and the Lotus Connector update the Id File in the server, but the Lotus Internet password is not updated. Could you please share your experiences with Lotus?. I've already faced many issues with this connector but the most were solved in the Domino's side.

  • Lotus Notes Offline Password Change

Initial inquiry to determine if Identity Manager has a facility for managing the local "myuser.id" file maintained on a "Lotus Notes" workstation when the user changes their password while offline.
The requirement is that a user can change their password online/offline and that the passwordSync occur when reconnected to the network. The resource adapter in 6.x indicates support for the online password change but I cannot find a reference for offline password change support. Appreciate any feedback.

    Hi Hari,
If  the link is not working for only specific users , then you have to check with Basis consultant to compare the ids which is working and which is not working .

  • Lotus Notes to Oracle

I have a client that has some data already in a Lotus Notes Database and is unhappy with that situation. What tools are available to get the data out and into an Oracle database.
Please send email to [email protected] if you can, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    hello,
generate csv or xml file (better csv for the size), use external table to load the file into oracle. We are doing this way in production, in order to synchronize between My Sql front databases and Oracle BO database with millions of data daily. You may face some problem of chr, but you can use shell (for Linux / Unix etc...) to adapt your csv ... or c , python, java program/classes etc...

Thanks Harsha... I am able to publish the portlet and access my emails also :))..i am this close to success but just have these two problems..
    1) When i click on "New Message" in myInbox portlet- I get the following error message " Application Exception - Could not find design note:. The URL on the web browser shows as following :
    "http://<domino server name:port>/mail/<username>.nsf/Memo/?OpenForm&docurl=" .
I asked the Notes Admin and they said that it is something to do with the URL and the parameters it is passing. I have configured the portlets exactly as specified by Oracle Installation guide. Same goes with "New Appointment", "New Contact","New ToDo". I am able to read and access my old emails, calendar ,contacts and todo. The problem is only with the "New xxxxxx" links only.
    2) The portlets are displayed exactly as shown by Oracle. That is fine with me but when i click on any of my old emails then i get a different template in a new window. We have a customized company template that we would like to use and is closest to iNote6. How can i use my company's template while looking at mails,calendar,to-do,contact in a new window?
I would appreciate if you can help me on the above issues... :)
    Thanks,

  • Updates from OIM to Lotus Notes via Lotus User policy

    Hi Guys,
    OIM - Version 11.1.1.5 (Bp03)
    Lotus Notes connector -v 11.1.1.5
    Connector Server - v11.1.1.5
Currently we execute a trusted recon from AD to OIM to create and update users. We have the Lotus Notes connector deployed and 'Lotus User' provisioning policy implemented.
I can create and delete users in Domino via this policy in OIM but I'm having an issue with user updates such as renames from AD, being new to OIM I may be missing a few steps but I believe all the config to manage updates is correct. When we reconcile changes from AD - the OIM user's entry gets updated successfully but their lotus provisioning form/policy doesn't - is this what should happen or should I have to run a target recon? Reading the documentation it seems that the target recon job is not the proper process to update user entries in Domino and should be completed via "provisioning"
I've confirmed that within the Process definition adpLNUPDATEDUSERINFO is configured for the required fields but is there a trick to this config to trigger updates within the provisioning policy and update the user's lotus provisioning form? If I manually enter the new details in the user's lotus provisioning form - the user's domino entry is updated successfuly.
    Thanks guys,
    Edited by: 955006 on Aug 27, 2012 6:33 PM

To update user attributes you need to add two process tasks for each attribute in process definition. First tasks is change tasks. It should named like "Change <Attribute name>". This task will use a transfer value adapter. Transfer value adapter will read attribute from user profile whenever that attribute changed and copy it into your process form. Add entry for respective attributes and their change tasks in Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGER lookup.
Second task will be update task. It should be named like "<Attribute Name> updated". This task will use adpLNUPDATEDUSERINFO adapter. Attribute name and its value will be passed as parameter to this adapter which in turn will modify it in your target system.
