Adapter Module for SOAP Sender

Hi,
Any alternative way to create adapter module for soap sender?
Regards,
Farooq

But I just trying to know weather it will work for simple soap or not.
Unfortunately it wont work for the normal SOAP protocol.
Let me try my luck.
If you are successful, then I would waiting for a blog

  • Need Help in Creating adapter module for SFTP Sender in NWDS

    Hi experts,
    I have a scenario where i should write an adapter module for SFTP sender in NWDS.. need your help in achieving this..

    Hello,
    >>i have followed the procedure of FTP but, adapter is not picking the file
    Make sure u have written proper expression to pick file.
    >>do we have any different adapter parameters for SFTP... the input file is .csv..
    I don't think there are any specific parameters needed for SFTP (but in case u are reading file name in AM then u might have to adjust SFTP namespace)

  • Adapter Module in SOAP Sender Adapter

    Hi All,
    To Confirm, Is it possible to use Custom Adapter Modules in SOAP Sender Adapter. If so, where exactly custom module has to be placed in communication channel with respect to the standard bean of SOAP Adapter.

  • Adapter module in SOAP sender Channel

    Hi,
    I need to call an adaptermodule to URLdecoding incoming SOAP messages.
    The adaptermodule i have developed to do the URLdecode works for other adapters but not for the SOAP sender adapter
    Saphelp says it is not possible to use adaptermodules on the SOAP sender adapter.
    [SOAP Adapter and plain HTTP |SOAP Adapter and plain HTTP ]
    But this above thread indicates that it can be done anyway.
    Have any of you succeded in using an adaptermodule for the SOAP sender adapter ? And what do i need to do ?
    Best Regards
          Jens

    Thank you. I hadø'nt looked at the axis SOAP.
    The sending system (MAPICS) can only sends http-post's with URLencoded xml to XI.
    I recieve the http post in the SOAP adapter (with &nosap=true) and i ment to decode the message in an adapter module.
    Can you help me with how to set up an Axis SOAP sender ? Do i need to choose Servlet axis or Task Axis when i create my Axis SOAP sender ?
    Best regards

  • Adapter Module during Soap sender channel

    In Onlin Help you find the order of the modules in Axis adapter:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/45/a4a36de28552f7e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm
    So you have to put your module between AFAdapterBean and CallSapAdapter
    If you work with PI 7.10 or PI 7.11 you should apply the latest patch to make sure, that the SOAP/Axis adapter has no known issues.
    Check the Channel Monitor for issues in the Axis adapter.
    Regards
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan, hi Volker,
    thanks for your help.
    I´m using PI 7.1 with Enhancement Package 1
    could you tell me where to check the patch level for adapter framework?
    In SLD I found following infortmation XI Adapter Framewoke 7.11 Installed SP/PL 1/9 newest SP in CR-Content 1
    I removed my module from the channel, but the channel fails anyway with the same error message.
    Which URL is wright one the
    standard => http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel
    or the axis => http://host:port/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet?senderService=myservice&interface=myinterface&interfaceNamespace=mynamespace (are these parameters correct)
    as I said above, if I use the standard I see the error in the cc, if I use the axis URL I see nothing
    The wright place for my module should be after AF_Adapters/axis/AFAdapterBean ModuleKey afreq and before CallSapAdapter ModuleKey sap, wright???
    Kind regards

  • IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor in the Module Processor For SOAP Sender CC

    Hi Sdners,
    Can we use below adapter module for Proxy Communication- SOAP Sender with XI Protocol ?
    IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor in the Module Processor
    From SAP we getting IDoc as Flat File wrapping it in Proxy Messages. We need to do convert those messages into XML format to do mapping.
    Scenario:
    SAP Proxy(Idoc flat file in Proxy) --> PI --> 3rd Party

    Hi Kiran,
    The without java mapping option will force you to use SOAP Axis since you can use IDOCFlatToXmlConverter.
    Well there is another alternative, but you will need to use two scenarios.
    The first one step would be proxy to file (NFS save in AL11)
    The second step would be file (still NFS) to 3rd party (here you can use the converter module in file sender CC)

  • Request Response Bean for SOAP Sender Adapter

    Hi Friends,
    Is it possible to use  Request Response Bean Module described (FIle to RFC to File here) for SOAP(sender) and JDBC(receiver) adapter?
    I want to configure SOAP to JDBC to JDBC scenario.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/UsingRequestResponseBeanModuleinFILE+Adapter
    Scenario:
    I will do SOAP adapter call Asynchronously and JDBC receiver adapter will select data from database. This response will go back to SOAP adapter and then SOAP will divert this response to another JDBC adapter. This JDBC adapter will insert data into another database.
    I do not want to use ccBPM. Is there any design approach to implement this scenario?
    Thanks,
    Sandeep Maurya

    Hi Sandeep,
    SAP says SOAP sender adapter does not support Modules. You can serch Help.sap (for SOAP sender channel) to find the same.
    I would suggest to use AXIS adapter (provides all the functionality of SOAP) and supports the Modules as well.
    I have used the Module beans that you mentioned in the past... but it is not consistent with its processing.. sometimes it stucks with Message ID issue... I have seen same issue faced some other friends as well .. search on SDN you will find the issue with these modules...
    Using BPM would be another option...
    Thanks,

  • Adapter Module for File Adapter

    I have a scenario where I have 2 related files (text file and a pdf file) for the message. I need to enhance the payload (content conversion from text file) with the size of the pdf file. I have developed a adapter module for this and it is working fine if there is 1 set of text and pdf file. But if there are more than 1 set of files, it is processing the first set and giving the below error for other files.
    "Error: com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.BaseTransactionRolledbackLocalException: Exception thrown in method process. The transaction is marked for rollback."

  • Adapter Module for receiver IDOC adapter?

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where i need to do some custom logging in the receiver adapters. For all receiver file adapters, i have written an adapter module which fulfills this custom requirement but how will i do this in the receiver IDOC adapter as its on the ABAP stack? I cannot write a java adapter module for this.
    Is there anyway by which i can write a ABAP adapter mosule and deploy it in the IDOC adapter? Or any other way to achive it. the scenario is such that i need to do the logging before the idoc is posted into R/3 system by the idoc adapter.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Yash

    Hi Chirag,
    Yes i have seen that the module tab is disabled for idoc adapter. I have a fin interface where i need to split a incoming file into an idoc and a file. For this purpose i need to log how many records are received by each adapter and the sum of the line items for audit perspose.
    any othr way to do it apart from doing it in message mapping. The req is to do in the adapter engine.

  • MalformedInputException Error in Adapter module for SFTP channel

    Dear All,
    I am using MessageTransformBean in adapter module for Plain to XML conversion. The channel works fine in all the cases but when I recieve     "  ì " or few more special characters in the file my channel does not pick file and show below error.

    Transform.ContentType : text/xml;charset=ISO-8859-1
    Please help me if any of you have faces such error in your developments.

    Hi Grzegorg,
    I have tried using UTF-8 encoding in my channel but this doesn't work. Communication cahnnel is still giving same problem.
    Error: com.aedaptive.adapter.sftp.SFTPException : Aborting processing: com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleException: Transform: failed to execute the transformation: com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'sun.io.MalformedInputException'; nested exception caused by: sun.io.MalformedInputException caused by: com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'sun.io.MalformedInputException'; nested exception caused by: sun.io.MalformedInputException

  • Developing adapter modules for PI 7.0 using NWDS 7.3

    Hello all,
        Did someone have already developed adapter modules for PI 7.0 using NWDS 7.3? I can´t find the EJB libraries for Java 1.4.
        I'm able to develop mapping programs, but I'm not sure if it is possible to create EJB projects.
    Thanks,
    Marcos

    Hi Marcos,
    I haven't tried developing adapter modules in NWDS 7.3 for PI 7.0 myself, but according to the documentation from SAP it is possible to develop J2EE 1.4 compliant applications i.e. EJB 2.1 components, which is used by SAP PI 7.0.
    [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/fc1e73a0ad2637e10000000a42189d/frameset.htm]
    Because of this backwards-compatibility I would expect that the EJB libraries for J2EE 1.4 should be available directly in NWDS 7.3 somewhere.
    Best regards,
    Jacob

  • Use Moduls with SOAP Sender Adapter

    Hi Experts,
    I have a question regarding the use of modules in the soap sender adapter / communication channel. Is it correct that the use of modules in the soap sender adapter is not possible?
    the background of my question is that we use modules from SEEBURGER in our Communication channels for archiving incoming and outgoing documents. the use of modules in the soap receiver adapter is possible. why not in the soap sender???
    according to the sap help it is possible to use the axis framwork in the soap adapter. then it should be possible to use modules. Is that correct? I tested it but it is not working. If I send a soap message (with the soap reveicer adapter) to the axis soap sender adapter there occure internal server errors. it is only working if I write my own modules for the axis soap sender adapter? is it not possible to use external modules like in other channels (File/FTP, soap receiver etc.)???
    thanks and best regards!
    Christopher

    we have moduls from SEEBURGER. so I have to test it. but before I need a scenario with which I can test it.
    We have a customer who sends xml-files per soap to us. these files we receive succussfully with the soap sender adapter. now we want to use some modules. so we have to use the axis soap sender adapter. I tried to send an xml file with the soap receiver adapter to the axis soap sender adapter, but this was not working. http 500 internal server errors occurred. is it possible that this scenario (soap-to-axis-soap) is not working? need I a specific configuration for this?
    thanks and regards

  • Reading Header data in a SOAP Envelope for SOAP Sender Adapter

    Hello All,
    Am using a SOAP sender adapter and want to use the data inside the SOAP Header for some routing purpose(extended receiver determination). Any SOAP message coming into XI will look something like below. But XI will pass the contents of <SOAP-ENV:Body> to Payload and <SOAP-ENV:Header> to the SOAP Header category you can see that in SXMB_MONI.
    Is there a way to read the data in my SOAP Header to be later used in my extended receiver determination.
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:Q-ENV="/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
         <SOAP-ENV:Header>
              <Q-ENV:Header>
                   <Q-ENV:Sender-Id>1</Q-ENV:Sender-Id>
                   <Q-ENV:Receiver-Id></Q-ENV:Receiver-Id>
                   <Q-ENV:Correlation-Id></Q-ENV:Correlation-Id>
                   <Q-ENV:Message-Id></Q-ENV:Message-Id>
                   <Q-ENV:Date-Sent></Q-ENV:Date-Sent>
                   <Q-ENV:Document-Type></Q-ENV:Document-Type>
                   <Q-ENV:Message-Format></Q-ENV:Message-Format>
              </Q-ENV:Header>
         </SOAP-ENV:Header>
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <Q-ENV:Body>
                   <Q-ENV:Content-Type>text/xml</Q-ENV:Content-Type>
                   <Q-ENV:Message-Type></Q-ENV:Message-Type>
                   <Q-ENV:Encoding>UTF-8</Q-ENV:Encoding>
                   <Q-ENV:Message-Body>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Thanks for your replies in advance.
    Regards,
    Prashanth

    Hello,
    but they were not getting any response back from XI and the sending system kept resending the message.. may be it was acting like a HTTP post.
    The method that is used by the native SOAP Adapter is always HTTP Post. Not sure why you are not getting a response, have you checked the outbound firewall of the sending party or the inbound firewall of XI? To which SOAP URL are you sending to?
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Adapter Module for Sender File Adapter to access a Flat file

    Hi,
    We have a scenario where the source is a flat file.I want to develop an Adapter Module to make a small change to every line in the Flat file.
    Now how do we read a flat file in the Adapter Module?Coz the flat file will be converted to XML file by the Standard Adapter Module of the File adapter.
    Please help me out with this.
    Thank you,
    Anu.

    Hi Anu,
    If you are not using Content Conversion option Standard Adapter Module does not convert the Flat file to XML .
    You can directly access the payload as it is in flat file in the Adapter Module and make changes.
    Use the Standard classes ModuleData & moduleContext to fetch the Payload.
    chk this :
    Customized Sender Adapter Module
    XI: Read data from PDF file in Sender Adapter
