Adapter Monitor message--hepl me out

hi,
In a file to file to scenario i am getting the following message in Adapter monitor
<b>Can you clarify me what exactly is the error ?</b>
Receiver Adapter v1027 for Party '', Service 'YAMAHA_BS':
Configured at 18:31:43 2008-10-17
Up and running - no message processing until now     "

Hi Pankaj,
This is not an error msg. XI receiver adapter has not processed any msg until now. If the sender has picked the file, check it in SXMB_MONI, may be there are some error. SO your msg is not going till receiver file adapter.

Jai Shankar.

  • How to monitor messages going out of XI? Kindly help!

    Hi Experts,
I have a XI scenario where my IDOC message is going out from XI to TIBCO. I am using the JMS adapter as the receiver here. Once message is sent from XI we don't know if it really reached TIBCO?
How do we monitor such messages?
Basically my requirement is that there should be a email sent to the stakeholder once TIBCO fails to receive the message even though XI has sent. The stakeholder
here is the business who just need to get an email alert. The objective behind this requirement is that, end to end XI scenario can be monitored and business does not have to check XI and TIBCO separately. They will no exactly where is the problem.
How to accomplish this? Please provide suggestions.
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi Gopal,
If you have already configured the alert rules then you just need to configure SAP connect and maintain the e-mail address for all the users attached to your alert category. You can go to transaction SU01 and maintain e-mail address for the each user attached to the alert category and the e-mails will automatically be sent if SAP connect is configured.
Refere the link below for SAP connect configuration.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2b/d925bf4b8a11d1894c0000e8323c4f/frameset.htm
You will need to set the flag under the RWB for e-mail as well.  You will need to login the RWB for each user and go to Alert Inbox - Personalization. Under the Time-Independent Delivery you will to check the box "Mail" as well.
Also check Michal's blog on Alert Config:-

Hope this provides you a solution.

I see some messages in SXMB_MONI. I take the message ID from MONI and go to the Adapter Level Message Monitoring in RWB, but i do not see any message for that message id.
This is not happening for recent messages, but some old messages (2 months or so), we are unable to find the message at the adapter level.
I also tried chosingthe option, display from archive, but no use.
    Can someone help me out??

So, when I find my message related to the Integrated Scenario and click on "Message Details" I am not able to view the payload for any of these messages. I am sure there is somewhere on the Java stack flip the switch to view payload but not sure where. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Monitor does not come out of sleep Mac-Mini Mini-DVI to Dual  DVI-D cable

I have an August 2009 Mac-Mini that I'm using with an Apple supplied Mini-DVI to DVI adapter along with a DVI-D Dual Link Cable connect to a Sceptre X7XV-Naga+ LCD monitor.
The monitor is going into sleep mode on its own with no way to disable this feature on the monitor itself. I've disabled sleep mode on the Mac-Mini in the power setting in System Preferences.
When in sleep mode and I move the mouse or press a key, the monitor will not come out of sleep mode. From other posts, I read that the issue might be that I wasn't using a Dual-Link DVI-D cable, so I bought one and installed such a cable. That has not resolved the problem. The monitor will not come out of sleep mode. When I have the monitor connected with a mini-display port to VGA adapter instead of a DVI-D cable, it will come out of sleep mode every time.

I know it's a year later, but I'm not finding much through search.
I have the same exact problem.  Difference being I'm using an iMac with 10.7.5.
Same video board and monitor - ATI Radeon HD 6750M video card connected via DisplayPort to Samsing S24A850DW.
I've tried two different mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables and no change.
I think I read that 10.8.3 might fix the issue.  Anyone that can confirm that, or has another solution?

  • Sender ADapter Monitor- ArrayIndexOutOfBOunds Exception

    Hi
As me subject line reads,  I am getting an "ArrayIndeXOutofBOunds 9" exception at the sender adapter monitor logs in the RWB.
I have an a<i>dapter monitor module</i> that picks up the file from the source  and pushes the file to a target directory based on some condition. I am able to see the file being pushed to the target directory but not able to view the "pipeline steps" in the message monitor.
Do you think a restart of the server might fix the issue/ do you think there is a problem in my code. I have used just one array and i have checked that array if it is being accessed out of its bounds?
    Thanks

  • No "Adapter monitoring" in runtime workbench

We appear to having difficulties with our SOAP adapter in XI 3.0.
I have searched through the forum, and most queries relate to SOAP Adapter being greyed out in adapterframework, but it is not even available in the list.
We do no have the Adapter Monitoring as an option in our runtime workbench, either.  How can we add this?
    Any thoughts gratefully received!

    Hi Barry,
    have you tried: http://server:port/mdt/amtServlet   ?
this is the address of the adapter monitoring
the old address ( < sp4 as far as I remember) of the adapter monitor:

  • Adapter Monitoring in RWB

    Hi-
I am having a IDOC to File scenario, The scenario was working fine but all of a sudden i am unable to send the File out,i don't see any errors in the Monitor. But the file is not present in the file system. So i went to RWB and clicked on adapter monitoring.I see all the adapter greyed out except the JPR and Xi adapter.JPR is in RED with a message.
    SLD host:port = homexi18:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XI3.SystemHome.homexi18 found
No access to get JPR configuration
What should i do?? is there something i should restart?
    Thanks
    Venkat

    HI Venkat,
Can you check the File Adapter status ? Is it in Grey color ? If so , is this adapter is active in ID ?
    1) Try to change something in the File Adapter and activate it . And check the Adapter monitoring for the status..
Are you able to see the messages in Message Display Tool(MDT)
    i.e RWB->Message Monitoring->MDT->Audit Log
If you have still problem, then check the Adapter engine Cache etc.. Refresh the cache in SXI_CACHE for the Adapter Engine.
Check the Adapter Metadata in the SAP BASIS Component in the IR..

  • Display exception in Adapter monitoring

We have a requirement in which we need to convert a specific flat file structure into XML and then pass the message using XI. For this we have deployed an EJB module which is doing this conversion from flat file to XML. This EJB is being called from XI and takes as input two parameters, the rootnode and namespace.
The flat file is divided into sections delimited with the character '['. One of the requirements for the EJB module is that if a certain section ([TRAILER]) is not present in the flat file then the EJB module should throw an exception. I have used stateless session bean to generate the EJB and if the TRAILER section is not present then have thrown a ModuleException from within the EJB containing a user defined message ("Trailer not present").
Now when I view the log for the Java stack, this user defined message is present when the flat file does not have a TRAILER section. However, in the adapter monitor, for files not containing the TRAILER section, its throwing a NullPointerException.
Can anyone help out as to why this is happening and how to get the user defined exception in the adapter monitor.

refer the how to guide on modules. you can set trace and raise exceptions in modules.

  • Problem in adapter monitoring on newly installed pi7.0

    hello all,
i am working on file to jms scenario. File adapter is picked the file. but jms adapter is not received. in adapter monitoring no messages are displayed. Messages are storing into smq2. in sxmb_moni Q.Status showing stop. sxi_cache showing Unable to refresh cache contents. we installed pi7.0 newly, is there any configuration problem? Plz suggest me
    Thanks

    1. initially make sure the Queus are registred ( i think it might be)
    2. the status of the message in the queue did it errored out ( System faileure ) etc SMq2
    3. data might be stuck in the queue when the reciveiver systemn is not able to retrive that...there might be some problem in the reciver adapter also...just reativate the JMS adapter....
If the mesage in the Smq2 is failed then definatley some error in the JMS adapter side....reactivate the JMS receiver adapter...sometimes the Adapter monitoring will not show th updated status of the adapter...run the interface again and check...

  • My secondary monitor flashes and blacks out after the 10.7 install.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have installed 10.7 and the secondary monitor flashes and blacks out.  I downgraded back to 10.6 and the problem went away.  I reinstalled 10.7 and the same problem happened again.  The monitor blacks in and out especially when the pointer is placed in the dock area, but it still happens all the time.  My secondary monitor is a ViewSonic 22 inch that is connected to a DVI to display adapter.  Any solutions??
    Thanks

Talked to AppleCare and it's most likely the fact that my MacBook has 3.0 USB ports and my non official charging cable can't support that. So yeah, I'll try a new cable, hopefully that's the fix.
