Adapter Monitor---Status of SLD access

Hi All,
Could you please help me out in this ?
In Adapter Monitor,
The status of SLD access is RED and TEXT is as follows.
SLD host:port = starxi:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for SXI.SystemHome.starxi found
No access to get JPR configuration
How to rectify this error ?
Thanks,
Ram

Dear Ram,
This  might  solve the issue,
a)Start transaction SXI_CACHE.
b)From the context menu XI Runtime Cache select Start Complete Cache Refresh.
If you still face issue try this .
Many actions require to access System Landscape Directory content from the Integration Builder. To optimize performance, this content is loaded into a cache so that the System Landscape Directory does not have to be accessed directly each time that System Landscape Directory content is required.
However, this cache is not automatically updated if changes are made to the content of the System Landscape Directory. For this reason that we delete the System Landscape Directory cache if changes have been made to content in the System Landscape Directory. The cache is then filled each time that the System Landscape Directory is accessed. If we log on to the Integration Builder after we have made a change in the SLD, we do not need to delete the SLD cache.
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.
Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.

  • Adapter monitoring with central SLD!

    Hi ,
we have central SLD in our landscape(different host from XI server),and our basis guys installed PI7.0 SP12.And AE is local as I can see under Integration server.
I can see JPR in adapter in adapter monitoring.
    I have question here!
should it needs to show all the list of adapters (FILE,JDBC,JMS,SOAP etc)in adapter monitoring in RWB?does it vary,if sld is central or local ?
    what is the ideal way.
    thank you,
    babu

<i>where the adapter engine should appear in RWB under integration server or under non central adapter engine if we have installed central AE and central SLD?</i>
Under Component monitoring -> Integration server -> Adapter Engine
<i>and it has show all the adapters when we install central AE and with central SLD when we furthur click the show all adapters?</i>
As i mentioned above, u may view all the adapters after clicking
    Adapter Engine -> Adapter Monitoring
<i>or is it changed since PI 7.0 to cummunication channel monitoring and no adapter monitoring?</i>
Yes. Now the monitoring of adapters r much intensively done by Communication Channel Monitoring

    many thanks for your help

    dear all
many thanks for your fast and helpful response .
    1) i can't see anything in the SLD log , because the user is not able to login to the SLD as you can see at the bottom of my first post.
    2) the domain entries in the SLD are done and also correct .
3)our SLD ist running on the productive XI system in the J2EE of the XI system . we use the ABAP UME of this XI system . there i can see , that the user "XIRWBUSER" is locked after several attempts . so it seems to me , that the password of this user is wrong .
now my questions : where can i change the user and password for this connection ?
    4) i get the error with SLD connection for all the other components as well (only in the runtime workbench) . the XI itself works fine.
    thank you

  • No Access to Adapter Monitor /

    Hello Experts,
everytime i try to take a look on the Adapter Monitor, the page in the ie is not able to be shown. Does anyone know the reason for this ?
We connect our xi to a R/3 4.6c system and when we call the xi from the r/3 we get the following message: "parameter JCO.Request and JCO.Response where <null> (server: RfcServer[RFC_NEU]1)". Do you have any hints?
We already checked that the SAP XI Adapter:RFC is running.
    I reward every answer!!
    Thx and best regards Phil

    Hi,
Ithink u just check the Logical System name and the RFC connection with the XI.
    Take the following step:
3 The Step By Step Solution
The basic steps for the IDoc configuration are outline below:
    1. Configure SM59 on XI to communicate to SAP backend system.
    2. Configure port on XI for IDoc communication.
    3. Create or verify the Logical System Name on the SAP backend system.
    4. Create or verify business system in XI’s System Landscape Directory.
    5. Verify the Logical System Name of the business system.
    6. Verify or add the Logical System Name for the sender business system.
    7. Create/configure the Communication Channel for the IDoc receiver adapter
3.1 Configure SM59 on XI to communicate to SAP backend system.
    1. Using transaction SM59, create an RFC destination with Connection Type = “3”.
In this example, the RFC destination name is “NDVCLNT510”.
    2. Enter the logon information:
    3. Test the connection by clicking on “Testing connection” and “Remote logon”.
    Both must be successful.
3.2 Configure port on XI for IDoc communication.
    4. Go to transaction IDX1 on XI, and create a port. In this example, the Port name is “SAPNDV”.
    •     &#61472;The Port name must be in the form of “SAPxxx”, where xxx is the system ID of the backend SAP
    system.
    •     The Client must be the client number of the backend SAP system.
    •     Select the RFC Destination which was created in the previous step.
3.3 Create or verify the Logical System Name on the SAP backend system.
    5. Enter transaction SALE on the SAP backend system.
    6. Create or verify the Logical System Name. In our example, NDVCLNT510 is verified.
3.4 Create or verify business system in XI’s System Landscape Directory.
The business system name for the SAP backend system must contain a valid Logical System Name. This Logical System Name is the one verified or created in the previous step.
    7. In the System Landscape Directory,  select the SAP backend business system. If one does not exist, then create the business system. Verify the Logical  System Name.
3.5 Verify the Logical System Name of the business system.
    8. In the Integration Directory, doubleclick on the business system (in our example, it is NDVCLNT510).
    Navigate the menu:
    Service • Adapter Specific Identifiers.
If information is empty or incorrect, then it will have to be synchronized with the content of the System Landscape Directory. Follow the steps below for synchronization.
    9. (Optional) Synchronization of the business system in Integration Directory to the business system in System
    Landscape Directory.
    •     &#61472;Double-click on the business system in the Integration Directory.
    •     &#61472;Switch to Edit mode.
    •     &#61472;Select menu: Service • Adapter-Specific Identifiers
    10. (Optional) Within the dialog box, click on the button as indicated below to resynchronize.
    11. (Optional) If the expected data from the System Landscape Directory is not updated, then the SLD cache may need to be cleared first.
3.7 Create/configure the Communication Channel for the IDoc receiver adapter.
    15. In the Integration Directory, create an IDoc receiver communication channel.
    •     &#61472;The RFC Destination is from step 3.1.
    •     &#61472;The Port is from step 3.2.
    NOTE:
There is no need to create an IDoc sender Communication Channel for XI. Instead, the backend SAP system must be configure to send the IDoc to XI.
    4 Appendix
    Transaction: IDX2
There are a couple of situation where IDX2 can be useful on the XI system.
    1. When we want to test connection between the XI and SAP backend system.
    2. When an IDoc has changed, and the meta data stored in XI needs to be update. When an IDoc is sent from the SAP backend system to XI, XI will first check to see if the meta data for the IDoc is already in its persistent cache. If not, then XI will use the configuration in IDX1 to retrieve the IDoc meta data from the backend system. If the
meta is already in cache, then it will NOT do so. Therefore, when an IDoc has changed, it is necessary to manually update the new meta data on XI, or delete it from the cache, so that the latest version can be retrieved. IDX2 is used for this purpose.
Go to transaction IDX2 and click on “Create”.
Enter the IDoc Type and the Source Port as defined in step #2. Click “Continue”.If successful, the following will show up. If error occurs, then the IDX1 configurations will need to be re-checked.

    Hemant

  • Adapter Monitoring in RWB

    Hi-
I am having a IDOC to File scenario, The scenario was working fine but all of a sudden i am unable to send the File out,i don't see any errors in the Monitor. But the file is not present in the file system. So i went to RWB and clicked on adapter monitoring.I see all the adapter greyed out except the JPR and Xi adapter.JPR is in RED with a message.
    SLD host:port = homexi18:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XI3.SystemHome.homexi18 found
No access to get JPR configuration
What should i do?? is there something i should restart?
    Thanks
    Venkat

    HI Venkat,
Can you check the File Adapter status ? Is it in Grey color ? If so , is this adapter is active in ID ?
    1) Try to change something in the File Adapter and activate it . And check the Adapter monitoring for the status..
Are you able to see the messages in Message Display Tool(MDT)
    i.e RWB->Message Monitoring->MDT->Audit Log
If you have still problem, then check the Adapter engine Cache etc.. Refresh the cache in SXI_CACHE for the Adapter Engine.
Check the Adapter Metadata in the SAP BASIS Component in the IR..

  • Problems in adapter monitoring

    Hi all,
We have a problem when we try to see the list of adapters in the adapter monitoring. It is showing only JPR adapter and the names of all the other adapters are missing.
But we were getting the names of all adapters when we are trying to configure the adapter in the communication channel. We are working on a newly installed XI.
Can anybody help me in this.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Michal,
We have already imported the .tpz file of SAP Basis 6.40 but still we are unable to find any adapters under the Adapter monitoring.
When we click Adapter Monitoring, we only get JPR with a red status.  Also on clicking the JPR node, the SLD access is also having red status.  The error message is pasted hereunder:-
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XIT.SystemHome.itcxi1 found

Kindly suggest how to get all the adapters displayed under Adapter Monitoring.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
The JDBC adapter error looks like- your xml document is not correct. ie. the structure which is given to JDBC adapter.
    Have a look into this-

  • Adapter Monitor don't show my Sender Adapter

    Hi people
I created an scenario to communicate XI 3.0 with a Sender SOAP Adapter.
When I access to the Adapter Monitor of the Runtime Workbench, it shows me the SOAP Adapter inside the Adapter Engine,  but i am not able to see my created communication channels.
    What could be happening?
    Thanks!!
    Regards
    Javier Sahagun

    Krishna, thanks for you response
I refreshed the SLD cache and CPACache. Before doing that, I saw other communication channels but not mine; after executing this operation, it didn't show to me any SOAP adapter.
Also I have read the note and we have made the steps that it indicates, but not yet it has been solved; Is immediate or we must wait for a time so that it makes effect? That another solution we can investigate?
    Thanks

  • No Adapter in DIR , in Adapter-Monitor only JPR - No Adaptermetadata

    Hi all,
I have installed NW70, SR3 with Usage Type PI.
The installation went fine so far. At the beginning I had some Cache Refresh Problems which are solved right now.
I have run the initial admin task in the NWA for postinstallation of Usage Type PI.
    My Problem now:
When creating a Communication Channel in Dir, while selecting an Adapter Type
I get the selection window with Headline select adaptermetadata and the list is empty. It says Reults for Componentversions: "No results found".
    I cannot select any adapter.
The same is when going into RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine <SID>
I get everything in green status for the "Self-Test". When going to "Adapter Monitoring" I see only the red flagged (typical) JPR. But no adapter available, nothing in the list at all.
I opened the VA -> Server -> Services -> Deploy and selected "Applications" at the bottom. So I see all the partially started in blue and red. I do see several adapters here e.g. sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.app or sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.app.
When stopping the application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app, all adapter applications are going into status unavailable. When restarting sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app the adapter are starting too.
Within the SLD I have tried to check wether there is under "Technical Systems" ->Type of Technical System: Exchange infrastructure" the right entry, and I do see "Adapter Engine on <SID>.<Host>" beside a Domain-Entry, the Dir, the Rep, the Integration Server and the RWB. This seems (for me) to be OK.
How can I get the adapters running, what thing do i missed?
    Kind regards J. Hopmann
What do i have to do to get the adapter

You need to import SAP BASIS Software Component Version into Integration Repository.
    Hi,
Refer your configuration guid for this, the file can also be get from service market place.
You can download it from service market place.
    https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20
In Search Term Enter "SAP BASIS <version>".
Now click on XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00 -
    > Database independent -
    > SAPBASIS<version>.ZIP Just save this file on your machine and unzip it.
Now put this in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\
In IR, TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.

  • Adapter Monitoring is now part of Channel Monitoring ??

    Hello ,
After recent upgrade to SP17 i am getting this message while trying to access adapter monitoring ? what does this mean ?
Also is there any way to get adapter specific info ? this is in regards i am getting an error message :
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Couldn't find delivery channel for message
    Please advice
    Krishna

    Krishna,
From SP17, you have a new feature
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/46d1a56faf52d3e10000000a1553f6/content.htm
<i>The Runtime Workbench has the following new functions:
&#9679;     Component monitoring: Communication channel monitor
In component monitoring, you can use the new communication channel monitor to call information about the status of your communication channels and the corresponding adapters. You can also administrate your communication channels.
Unlike the adapter monitor, the communication channel monitor also provides current runtime information about the communication channels of individual adapters, as long as they are registered for communication channel monitoring.
To monitor adapters that do not provide runtime information to communication channel monitoring, continue to use the adapter monitor.</i>

i develop the file to file scenario, and everything in Integration Builder is right, and the configuration is no problem
but it cannot send file to XI, so the whole process
cannot start. The file adapter seems not work
how can i solve the problem?
    Thank you for your reply

    Hi Leo,
I Guess you should first see if the file is being picked... for that do the following.
While configuring your Sender File Adapter, let the mode be DELETE. This way, we will know if the file is being picked by the File adapter. The file will be deleted and you can be sure that it has been picked up.
In your runtime workbench home, there will be a tab, Component Monitoring, click on it. Select status as all, and click on display. The components will be displayed on ur screen. In that, under Integration Server, there will be a link for Adapter Engine. Click on it. Now, scroll down, and u will see a link to adapter monitoring, there under FILE ADAPTER see the log of the file adapter
and also, you can see the flow of your message in the integration engine in SXMB_MONI.
<b>Do this and let us know what is happening...</b>
Meanwhile i would also suggest you to go through the explanation of a simmilar scenario that i have explained below and compare it with what you have done..
Please go thru the following links and clear all your doubts.

  • In the rwb adapter monitoring the JDBC Adapter always grey

    Hi all
I try to use JDBC Adapter in XI 3.0 sp14.
First I deploy the MS SqlServer JDBC by SDM RemoteGui.I can see the deployed JDBC package in \j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.af.jmsproviderlib.
Then I create a communication Channel using JDBC 2.0 in a Business System and active the configuration.
But when I monitor JDBC Adapter in the rwb, I find the JDBC Adapter is always grey.In the \server0\log\services\com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.svc, no log shows the jdbc adapter is initial.
So what extended configuration shall i do.
    Thanks in advanced
    Elliott

    hi Alessandro,ravi:
Thanks for your reply. I will describe detail.
I use a file adapter as a sender and use a JDBC adapter as a receiver.
In the sxmb_moni I find the processed message status is successful.
So I think the integration server works fine.
In the message monitoring, the message is waiting status.
If I change the receiver adapter to file adapter.
It works fine.So I think the process config is fine and the itegration server works fine. the error is in the receiver JDBC adapter side.
I check the default trace, <b>there is error logs</b>:

In the adapter monitoring, JDBC Adapter icon is grey. I
can't click for detail information. I only deploy the
JDBC drivers by SDM remoteGui. What else shall I do.
Btw, Can you say sth detail about how to test the
deployed JDBC adapter on visual administrator?
    Thanks
