Adapter Monitoring in RWB

Hi-
I am having a IDOC to File scenario, The scenario was working fine but all of a sudden i am unable to send the File out,i don't see any errors in the Monitor. But the file is not present in the file system. So i went to RWB and clicked on adapter monitoring.I see all the adapter greyed out except the JPR and Xi adapter.JPR is in RED with a message.
SLD host:port = homexi18:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XI3.SystemHome.homexi18 found
No access to get JPR configuration
What should i do?? is there something i should restart?
Thanks
Venkat

HI Venkat,
Can you check the File Adapter status ? Is it in Grey color ? If so , is this adapter is active in ID ?
1) Try to change something in the File Adapter and activate it . And check the Adapter monitoring for the status..
Are you able to see the messages in Message Display Tool(MDT)
i.e RWB->Message Monitoring->MDT->Audit Log
If you have still problem, then check the Adapter engine Cache etc.. Refresh the cache in SXI_CACHE for the Adapter Engine.
Check the Adapter Metadata in the SAP BASIS Component in the IR..

  • Adapter monitoring with central SLD!

    Hi ,
we have central SLD in our landscape(different host from XI server),and our basis guys installed PI7.0 SP12.And AE is local as I can see under Integration server.
I can see JPR in adapter in adapter monitoring.
    I have question here!
should it needs to show all the list of adapters (FILE,JDBC,JMS,SOAP etc)in adapter monitoring in RWB?does it vary,if sld is central or local ?
    what is the ideal way.
    thank you,
    babu

<i>where the adapter engine should appear in RWB under integration server or under non central adapter engine if we have installed central AE and central SLD?</i>
Under Component monitoring -> Integration server -> Adapter Engine
<i>and it has show all the adapters when we install central AE and with central SLD when we furthur click the show all adapters?</i>
As i mentioned above, u may view all the adapters after clicking
    Adapter Engine -> Adapter Monitoring
<i>or is it changed since PI 7.0 to cummunication channel monitoring and no adapter monitoring?</i>
Yes. Now the monitoring of adapters r much intensively done by Communication Channel Monitoring

  • In the rwb adapter monitoring the JDBC Adapter always grey

    Hi all
I try to use JDBC Adapter in XI 3.0 sp14.
First I deploy the MS SqlServer JDBC by SDM RemoteGui.I can see the deployed JDBC package in \j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.af.jmsproviderlib.
Then I create a communication Channel using JDBC 2.0 in a Business System and active the configuration.
But when I monitor JDBC Adapter in the rwb, I find the JDBC Adapter is always grey.In the \server0\log\services\com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.svc, no log shows the jdbc adapter is initial.
So what extended configuration shall i do.
    Thanks in advanced

    hi Alessandro,ravi:
Thanks for your reply. I will describe detail.
I use a file adapter as a sender and use a JDBC adapter as a receiver.
In the sxmb_moni I find the processed message status is successful.
So I think the integration server works fine.
In the message monitoring, the message is waiting status.
If I change the receiver adapter to file adapter.
It works fine.So I think the process config is fine and the itegration server works fine. the error is in the receiver JDBC adapter side.
I check the default trace, <b>there is error logs</b>:

In the adapter monitoring, JDBC Adapter icon is grey. I

  • Cannot send file to XI ,and File Adapter Error in RWB- Adapter Monitor

i develop the file to file scenario, and everything in Integration Builder is right, and the configuration is no problem
but it cannot send file to XI, so the whole process
cannot start. The file adapter seems not work
how can i solve the problem?
    Thank you for your reply

    Hi Leo,
I Guess you should first see if the file is being picked... for that do the following.
While configuring your Sender File Adapter, let the mode be DELETE. This way, we will know if the file is being picked by the File adapter. The file will be deleted and you can be sure that it has been picked up.
In your runtime workbench home, there will be a tab, Component Monitoring, click on it. Select status as all, and click on display. The components will be displayed on ur screen. In that, under Integration Server, there will be a link for Adapter Engine. Click on it. Now, scroll down, and u will see a link to adapter monitoring, there under FILE ADAPTER see the log of the file adapter
and also, you can see the flow of your message in the integration engine in SXMB_MONI.
<b>Do this and let us know what is happening...</b>
Meanwhile i would also suggest you to go through the explanation of a simmilar scenario that i have explained below and compare it with what you have done..
Please go thru the following links and clear all your doubts.

  • Sender ADapter Monitor- ArrayIndexOutOfBOunds Exception

    Hi
As me subject line reads,  I am getting an "ArrayIndeXOutofBOunds 9" exception at the sender adapter monitor logs in the RWB.
I have an a<i>dapter monitor module</i> that picks up the file from the source  and pushes the file to a target directory based on some condition. I am able to see the file being pushed to the target directory but not able to view the "pipeline steps" in the message monitor.
Do you think a restart of the server might fix the issue/ do you think there is a problem in my code. I have used just one array and i have checked that array if it is being accessed out of its bounds?

  • XI Adapter ? No messages in the adapter engine in RWB

    Hi Guys,
I have the scenario SOAP-PROXY. I have configured XI Adapter on the receiver side. I have used xml spy to post the messages directly to the IS. I could not see any messages in the adapter engine in RWB.
I have seen the messages processed successfully in the integration engine under RWB.
can anybody explain why i could not see any messages in the adapter engine ? Is It normal with the xi adapter on the receiver side ?

    Raghu.
    I've done the following:
    1. I've executed SE38 tx code.
    2. I've entered the "RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES" report as "Program"
    3. As the "RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES" report does not have a selection screen, it must be executed with default parameters. So, I selected "Program -> Execute -> Background".
    4. There are no available variants, so I clicked on the "Execute immed." button.
    5. The job starts. I can monitor it on the SM37 tx code.
    6. It only deleted 20 messages.
What I get from this, is that the "RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES" report cannot delete the big part of the messages since them are marked as "Archivable" and not as "Archived".
what do you think of it??
    regards

  • Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError during message monitoring in RWB

Java Engine Problem during message monitoring in runtime workbench!!
Posted: Nov 12, 2007 2:13 AM     Edit      E-mail this message      Reply
    Hi,
Our integrating processes are processing successfully.
But there is a problem during message monitoring.
When I use message monitoring in RWB,
Integration Engine monitoring has no problem.
But there is a problem during displaying adapter engine monitoring.
The message is "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space".
So I cannot see any adapter engine message.
Actually same error occurred 3 weeks ago.
At that time, we solved the problem with restarting java service.
Does anyone know about this appearance?
And is there any other solution about this problem??
    Thank you.

    Hi,
As per the error analysis, it seems that the java heap space is low. So need to increase the heap size.
    1. Go to the C:\SAP\JP1\JC00\j2ee\configtool folder
    2. Start configtool.bat
    3. Go to cluster-data -> template - template_javaee -> instance - IDxxxxx
    4. Go to the VM Parameters tab and edit the maxHeapSize property
    5. Save and restart the system.
I hope this will solve the problem.
    Regards,
    Sarvesh

  • Adapter Monitoring not visible

    Hi,
I am not able to view Adapter Monitoring page in RWB. Rest all the pages from RWB are visible. Even in Message Monitoring option, under Adapter Engine, I am not able to see the details of message.
I want to check status messages in receiver adapter. I have a file to mail scenario, in which file is picked up properly, I am able to see the successful message translation in SXMB_MONI. However, I am not receiving mail to my mailbox. I am not able to track the problem because I cannot view Adapter Monitoring page.
Please let me know possible solutions to this one.
    Thanks,
    Bhavish

Please look for the Channel Monitoring in XI 3.0 RWB. Adaptors are now part of channel monitoring in XI 3.0 now.
Also note that XI have two type of adaptors ( Adaptors handled by J2EE Server and Adaptor handled by the Integration Server) RWB is only the J2EE side and if the adaptor belong to that category you will see the adaptor status in channel monitoring, otherwise note.
To get the bottom line of it, go to XI Cache using SAP GUI, update the XI cache (complete update) Look into the cache entries for communication channels, check the type it should be CAE (Central Adaptor Engine), if it is IS( Integration Server) you will not see that adaptors messages in RWB.
    Thanks
