Adapter Pack 3.0

After the CU3 Adapter Pack was installed we started experiencing this error - System.FormatException: Failed to convert parameter value from a String to a Int32.  Error is related to the calling of a Stored Proc that has an Output paramter declared
as INT. There is a documented solution to resolve this for CU2 but none for CU3, and a Microsoft rep said the fix for CU2 won't work for CU3. As the rep didn't know the CU3 fix and I find nothing on the web does anyone know the fix? Thanks

FYI, we wrote a blogpost on this situation: http://blog.codit.eu/post/2013/08/26/Breaking-change-in-BizTalk-Adapter-Pack-2010-CU2.aspx

    Steps are:
Stop BizTalk services and SSO Service
Take Backup of the BizTalk databases
    Stop SQL server agent
Uninstall Evaluation version of BizTalk Adapter Pack (This clears all registry entries from the environment)
    Uninstall WCF LOB Adapter SDK

  • Does BizTalk adapter pack 2010 support SAP ECC6 EHP5?

SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0:
Supported server versions: SAP ECC 6.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 6.0 Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Non-Unicode,
    SAP R/3 4.7 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode

    R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode, SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP 4.0
None specifically says it supports ECC 6.0 EHP5. But, I was able to find several posts that they are integrating with SAP ECC 6 EHP5 using BizTalk adapter. However, I would like to make sure whether Microsoft officially supports or not in case of technical
    issue occurs.
    Does anyone have an answer?

I appreciate your response but I'm afraid that the information you have given is what I looked up before and thought they can't be an answer. As I already have stated in my question, I found several posts saying that they are integrating with ECC 6.0 EHP5
with BizTalk Adapter. With that, I can assume the BizTalk Adapter would work with EHP5 of ECC 6.0 as EHP is just an EnHancement Package. However, it does not mean Microsoft will support it when there is a technical issue unless it is stated so. So, what I
want to confirm here is more about liability. I cannot suggest my client to use BizTalk based on assumption.
To save anyone else's time, following are SAP versions supported by each BizTalk Adapter pack. None specifically mentions EHP 5. Can anyone from Microsoft or partner confirm this??
SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0:
    Supported server versions:

  • BUZZING Magsafe AC Power Adapter pack

My Magsafe AC Power Adapter pack is making a buzzing noise when it's connected up to the electricity! I've tried it in different sockets around the house and it's still making the same noise.
Don't know if anyone can help or reassure me before i contact Apple UK
    Regards,
    Terry

All that you need is a standard international plug kit. The adapter itself will work at any voltage. Apple has an international kit -> http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB974ZM/B/apple-world-travel-adapter-kit?fnode =3c.

  • Travel adapter pack and Macbook

I'm upgrading to a Macbook and I travel a lot.
There is a list of Macs/iPods that are compatable with Apple's 'world wide travel kit' - the MB 'pro' is listed, but the MB is not listed - is this an oversight. Can, or can I not use it?
    Powerbook   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Just to add a little… you might want to additionally get yourself a notebook surge protector like those from APC…
    http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=173
… so you don't get youself, or you MacBook, blown up.
By the way, they do go inbetween the adapter and the plug adapter (items from the travel kit) so your mileage may with how well they go together.

  • A tough question regarding the AC adapter packed in with the iBook G4

I have had this iBook less than a year after buying it new from Apple and along with it, I bought Applecare for piece of mind.
Now onto the question here. The "Duck" connector (the flip out AC prongs) that connect to my power brick has failed and I was informed that this was a "consumable" by an Apple representative even when talking to a "higher up" along the support chain. He informed me that it was in my included documentation but if this was included, I asked him just exactly what page might I find this on or a page detailing just what is covered or not covered when it comes to the Applecare warranty on portables. Needless to say, I did try combing the site and my original print manuals and Applecare paperwork saying nothing about "consumables" when it comes to a notebook computer.
I ended up setting out and buying another USB iPod charger just for that silly connector so I could charge my battery but still puzzled by Apple's response to this.
Anyone else ever experience such great service or a similar problem with the power brick in general? (sarcasm...)

On my iBook models using the same white cube power adapter, I've used
only the cord they supplied with the adapter; and have not used the odd
toggle/plugin it shipped with. I heard stories about the connection not
being as good if that little part was used, so I always use the long cord.
No issues; I plug the AC cord into the power first, and the little DC cord
into the computer second. Less sparks, too; and not as big a shock to
the computer as plugging it in the other way.
Someone may be able to get just the replacement part you seek without
buying another complete adapter. If I could find the small plug part, I'd
just send it to you; but I think it got lost or ran away due to disinterest.
[To just replace that part of the adapter, when travelling overseas
would be a better idea (to comply with local power-port shapes)
than carrying a whole set of power cord adapters. I wonder if
they sell just that part in that Apple universal power adapter kit?]
    I also have a second complete new adapter in the original sealed package;
so I hope it works when or if I need it. The part should be under the extended
warranty; just like I was told the battery should be, too. These factoids may or
may not be true. Or if they were, perhaps they no longer are. A product specialist
would be one to ask what the policy is on an exact item. I'm not that!

  • How to get IDoc Status from WCF Service Adapter?

I have successfully transfered a strong typed Idoc to SAP using a BizTalk WCF Service Adapter.  I did so based on this example:  [http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/cc185231(v=BTS.10).aspx].  We are using the IDoc to create a purchase order.  The IDocClient.Send(idoc, ref guid); method returns only a guid.  I can translate that using the SapAdpaterUtilities to a transaction ID.  When I look at the Idoc in WE02, I can see that it has status information which includes the purchase order number.  Is there any way for me to capture this status information in my .Net application when I send the IDoc?  Can I query the transaction ID?  Or do I just need to get the last PO Number through an RFC?
    Scott

I ended up using the SAP .Net Data Provider in the Biztalk Adapter Pack to retrieve the PO Number.  Essentially when you pass the IDoc you won't get anything in return unless the file transfer fails.

  • SAP adapter giving the merged result set (First RFC call data + Second RFC call data) for second RFC call

I have a WCF Adapter service to call a SAP RFC. When I call the RFC first time, it gives me correct no of result set but when I call this RFC second time immediately after first call, it gives me merged result set (First Result set + Second Result Set).
e.g. We have a RFC which receives vendor number and blank object of result set as parameter and gives back the list of purchase orders as Response in object of result set for that vendor.
Suppose, we have a vendor "a" and vendor "b". For vendor "a" there are 5 purchase orders and for vendor "b", we have 4 purchase orders in SAP. When I call the WCF adapter service for this RFC for vendor "a",
it gives me 5 purchase orders. Immediately after first call, when I call WCF service for vendor "b", it gives me 9 (5+4) purchase order records which is wrong.
In brief, one RFC call is affected by its previous call.
For each new WCF request, a new object of result set is created, connection is opened, rfc is executed and connection is closed.
Can anybody have any idea on this?
    Thanks.

  • SAP Adapter Issues

    Dear All,
Facing two issues as below, any help/pointers greatly appreciated.
1> Where can I download correct Oracle AS Adapter pack which will support SAP ECC 6.0?
2> Using the Adapter pack for 10.1.3, I am able to connect to SAP using Application Explorer, browse the Business Objects & RFCs. Then I have generated an Outnound JCA service (request-response) using the Adapter application explorer (right click menu option). Next trying to invoke the JCA service from BPEL using a partner link, when it gives following error at runtime. The same RFC when tested from Adapter applicatio explorer, however, runs fine; the problem occurs at BPEL runtime.

    Dear Shiva & Others
I am still stuck up with J2CA repository config of SAP adapter. I have been able to successfully test JCA outbound service (request-response to SAP BAPI/IDOC) with BSE config only. Below are still problems, with J2CA config, if i create a outbound JCA request-response service, wsdl generation and everything is fine, but runtime when called thru BPEL partner link it gives below error in adapter log (still working on inbound jca service and getitng some problem there too which hopefully can be resolved).
