Adapter Status Grey and Cache Error in acessing Integration Directory

Dear All
While going through the following path
RWB-->Component Monitoring->Adapter Engine->Cache Connectivity Test
i got the following result
" Cache notification from Integration Repository failedError when accessing the Integration Directory "
RWB-->Component Monitoring->Adapter Engine->Adapter Monitoring
I am able to see the list of all adapters but all the adapters have Gery light status instead of having a red or green light status
Kindly tell me what to do...how to change the grey light status to green light and how to set the Cache right
and going by the following path
Thanks in anticipation
Chakra and Somnath

Can anyone help me connect my Macbook Air to a SAMSUNG TV.  When I follow the basic instructions (Thunderbolt to HDMI connection) the screen on my computer goes grey and an error message appears inviting me to press any button to restart the Macbook.  When I do this nothing happens.  Only when I disconnect the computer from the TV does the Macbook allow me to login. The TV does not receive any signal from the Macbook even though I know the HDI port works fine.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?  Do I need to enable something on the Macbook?

    An update...
I downloaded Apple's (rather large!) list of software updates today, and I was finally able to recognize my iPod again. I did a restore using the iPod updater from 06-2006, and all seemed to work OK. (I'm afraid to try the new one again!)
Then I tried to re-load my music library from iTunes, and got stuck. It froze up after a while and wouldn't go any further.
When I disconnected my iPod from my computer, I find 2 podcasts and nothing else, though iTunes told me it had transferred 600+ songs. Those 2 podcasts do play fine, and the basic iPod software all seems to be intact.
So -- anyone get through this connection problem and have any ideas to share??

  • Sender mail adapter : no messages and no error log

    Hello,
I have configured a sender mail adapter to read mails from the inbox. I have used IMAP protocol. URL is specified as imap://EMHBSEXM01/Inbox. User name and password is also specified properly. I have kept poll interval to 1 minute. Messages in the inbox are in unread status. But the mail is not getting processed. I do not see anything after 1 minute. I tried using generate fetch report flag. But even then it does not create any message in SXMB_MONI. I checked runtime workbench for Mail adapter but I do not see any message for the same. Is there something that I am missing?
    Thanks,
    Dev

    Hi All,
I chekced your responses and tried accordingly. Our basis team has given me new link now and the error message has changed. I am getting following error message.
exception caught during processing mail message; java.io.IOException: unexpected login response; read 001F BAD Command received in Invalid state.
Does anyone have any idea what this error is?
    Thanks in advance,
    Devendra

    Hello Abubaker,
It crashed due to a parity error.
     Imprecise Data Parity Error
     Imprecise Data Parity Error
Which in other words means, a temporary error in memory. On single occurence adivice is to monitor the supervisor for re-occurence of such failure again. You can monitor it for 24 - 48 hours and if its a hard failure , the likelyhood of issue coming again is more and you need to replace supervisor. If it does not repeat you can consider this as a one time issue and contnue using it.
Hope this helps and please always rate useful posts.

  • URGENT Bridge and cache error photo corrupted NEED HELP

We were going to edit a photo and upon opening it and error came up and said: "edit bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. please try purging the central cache in cache peferences to correct situation"
We solved the cache problem by purging it but the photo is corrupted! Furthermore, the photo turned red and 1/3 of the photo has been mysteriously turned black!  It only briefly returns to normal after cache problem in adobe bridge. It turns normal but only for a split second!!! WE NEED THIS PHOTO RESTORED TO ORIGINAL CONDITION BEFORE THE CACHE ERROR.
    Thank you for help

Your photo may be lost, I'm sorry to say.
Check your Windows System Event log and look for disk errors.  Disks do fail, and if there have been unrecoverable errors you'll see them in the event log.
A failing disk is not something to be left alone.  I hope you have a recent backup - if not, make one right away, then replace any failing disk drive ASAP, or you chance losing more data.  I always recommend high-reliability enterprise class disk drives such as Western Digital RE4.  They're not that much more expensive, and lost data can be worth a lot.

    Dear Hannes,
The fact that new software was downloaded would seem to indicate that the system has been updated with a new Support Package. The specific error you are getting could indicate that the Integration Directory server component has not started correctly after the update.

  • AutoConfig is exiting with status 1 And ORACLE error 6502 in afpodbinit

    Hi Experts,
Excuse me for trying to brief the Issue in such manner which may not be apt. or appear stupid to many Experts.   But I am newbie to Oracle Apps !
After registering the  EBS R12.1 Vision, DB version 11.2.0.3.0   with OID 11.1.1.6  successfully with  $FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl   Before that Registered EBS Instance with OID
as part of Integrating EBS R12 with OAM-OID 11g according to  (ID :1309013.1)
Once i updated  these profile options i.e  "Applications SSO Type" profile option to “SSWA w/SSO”  and“Applications SSO Login Types” profile option to   BOTH ,   AND
Applications SSO Auto Link User profile option to “Enabled” And “Applications SSO Enable OID Identity Add Event” profile option to “Enabled”.
And than it requyire the EBS tier to be restarted Once i restarted it  Than the following  Issues  Occured.
       1.  As i specified the provisiontype value to 1 which means that  the user that's got created in OID should be populated in fnd_user table in EBS But this is not happening
as the User that i 've created with the ODSM is not propagated to fnd_user table when i verified it with the following query
                   select USER_NAME, CREATION_DATE from fnd_user where creation_date > (SYSDATE - 1);
The Output : no rows selected
    2.  The EBS Login page become inaccessible that is the Login Page goes blank
    3.  opmn managed are running fine But when i checked the status of adcmctl got the following error,
You are running adcmctl.sh version 120.17.12010000.5

    Hi Hussein,
    Thanks for the suggested Docs
I 've gone through the Docs that you 've suggested And based on that  made a Comprehensive analysis of the Issues and comes up with these findings even though still short of the resolution
Kindly see  the following and suggest.
    1. The Docs [ID 1109247.1]   suggested to  Remove the value of profile option ' Initialization SQL Statement .
Please see the current Value of it and if you could give your thoughts

Also when i query the home_url from icx_sessions The home_url column of the table are BLANK. even though it's there in the context file which is verified by this output.
    grep login $CONTEXT_FILE
             <login_page oa_var="s_login_page">http://ebs.oracle.com:8000/OA_HTML/AppsLogin</login_page>
Therefore i quried to check the whether the related  Tablespace are full. It is not  FULL also there is no Issue of space TEMP tablespace either,
Please see the APPS_SSO related profile values after dating those values the EBS login url ISSUE  Occured. as I already mentioned that in the First POST.

  • Cache update problem in Integration Directory

    Hi all,
We have a cache update problem in our PI development server.
If we try to edit, save and activate any of the ID objects, under Cache notifications>Central Adapter Engine> all these objects are displayed as gray items.
    We have tried:
    1. Clearing the SLD Data Cache.
    2. Did SXI_CACHE complete refresh.
    3. Did CPA cache refresh.
    4. Did a complete cache refresh of the server.
    5. Restarted the server.
But still the problem has not bee resolved. Could you pls provide your inputs and resolution points.
    Thank you very much.
    regards,
    Jack Nuson

    HI Jack ,
first try to manually update the cache from ID select on your cache notifiaction and click on delta cache refresh button and refresh button .IF it does not yied any result then
Perform a full cache refresh using the URL
http://<host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full . If the cache refresh happens properly then your problem will get resolved other wise you have to see the cache log to view why it failed there it will show you the exact reason . You might need to restart your java server also if the problem persist .
    Regards,
    Saurabh

  • Error in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and CACHE REFRESH

Hi guys, well after checking the forum and several blogs i can't get rid of my problem!
I have a problem concerning INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and CACHE REFRESH.
i wanted to get a file from a FTP-Server via CC and i got error:
<SAP:AdditionalText>Error when reading HTTP destination: INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.</SAP:AdditionalText>
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
<SAP:Stack>Error while refreshing the XI runtime cache</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
Because of this i tried to update my cache (SXI_CACHE). When i do a Delta Cache Refresh i get:
Prefix Number: entry missing for system SSID client 100.
When i do a complete Cache Refresh nothing happens at all. I also checked the cache notification in IB - Integration Directory where i fin dout that only the Integration Server (ABAP Cache) won't refresh. Well status is started but nothing else is happening.
Then i checked the RFC INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, did a connection test where i get an Internal Server error.
Let me tell u that the systems runs very well in the last days but now i have no clue what might be wrong.
Can somebody please advice me? I already read all blogs concerning this and also did a complete system-restart....
    br Jens

when you check INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI with SM59 it is normal to get
HTTP Response 500 - Internal Server Error. In this case it meens everything OK
see the rediness check, that is attached to SAP note 817920
when you start the complete cache refresh, you can see
the function module SAI_CACHE3_REFRESH_BACKGROUND in SM58. As long as you can see this entry, the cache
refresh is ongoing. If the refresh takes too long and runs on an error, try to specify another timeout in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI or in the ICM
    Best Regards

  • "waiting" and "system error" status cannot be resent in rwb?

    Hi,gurus:
In RWB->MESSAGE MONITORING,I can't resend or cancel the messages with the status " waiting" and "system error".
when I clicked "resend" button,it asked for user and password. After I was authentificated, the system didn't resend a message. Have you ever met this issue?
By the way,I could resend the error messages before.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I checked the note 1233918,and it talked about the same issue.
But the solution is as follows, which I don't know what to do.(Our PI version is PI7.0 SR3 SP14)
    Symptom
When the first message for a managed system is cancelled or resent, after pressing ok in the logon pop-up nothing happens - message is not resent or cancelled. The logon data is correct, since subsequent resend/ cancel works without further logon request. Another symptom is cancelling or resending a wrong message, when using the filter mechanism in the table. E.g. the table displays messages A, B, C, D. If message C is selected and after that the filter is set so that message C is hidden from the filter selection, when selecting message D and trying to resend/cancel it, message C is cancelled/resent (the hidden one, previously selected) and nothing is happening with message D.
    Other terms
NWA, PI, Message monitoring, resend, cancel
    Reason and Prerequisites
The UI Proxy connection was not obtained properly. Another reason - TableAccessories was not invalidating the nodes properly. Also after filtering the result list, resend/cancel was taking wrong message Ids.
    Solution
For SP5 install LMNWABASICCOMP05P_1.SCA or higher patch level.
For SP6 install LMNWABASICCOMP06P_1.SCA or higher patch level.

    Hi Anshul,
    Go to:
TCODE SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration
Please change the system rile to be "Application System", then retest if the similar issue happen again after that.
    If not helped, follow:
    1. Clear SLD Delta Cache Referesh in the Integration Directory
    2. Open the Business System in edit mode and select Adapter specific identifiers following the menu path:
    Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers
    3. Please click in the button next to "Apply" button to pick up the Logical system from SLD.

    Hi,
    Possible checks
    1) Have you added the Host file in the following path
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc--Hosts
    2) Ping the IP address of the XI Server from Your Local Machine whcih you are trying to conect.
    3) Check whether you have Installes the J2SDK on Your Local Machine
    to check goto Run-cmd--java -version

  • When RFC-Adapter is down, only the adapter-status shows error flag

    Hi all,
How can I reprocess a message that did not reach the endpoint because the rfc-adapter was down, if the overall status of the message is "Message Processed"?
    Thaks,
    Nuno

    Hi,
The question is about receiver RFC adapter and not about the sender RFC adapter. So single / mass re-start from SM58 won't help (Report RSQIWKEX for q-RFC and report RSARFCEX for t-RFC).
If RFC adapter is down, message won't reach to the destination system via adapter engine. IE monitoring will say that message is successfully processed (so report RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES will not help) . In this case, if you go to adapter engine monitoring from RWB, you will be able to see the status Waiting or System error.
I'm not sure how to re-start this message, but probably you can do this through MDT.
May be SAP note - 813993 will help you.

I cannot access the internet the screen is grey, I have tried by using the answer from someone but it does not work...I went to settings, tap safari, then clear the history, cookies, and cache, then turn off ipad.  When I did that twice, it did not work.  How long does it take for the clear history to work?  I am a brand new
user of the ipad2 and I am disappointed that this is happening already.

Have you been able to access the internet previously and now it's suddenly not working, or are you still trying to access the internet for the first time on your iPad?  Are you at home trying to connect through your home router?  If you are at home, did you put your home routers encryption code as your password?  The encryption code is what your iPad is looking for and it is usually found on the router and is typically a 13 digit combination of letters and numbers.  Let us know......
