Adapters in RWB

Hii
    I have a problem in our RWB.In component monitoring status of adpter engine is <b>Green</b>. But in adapter monitoring it is showing only one adapter type i.e. JPR.
And there in component monitoring when I do <b>"Cache Connectivity Test"</b>  Integration Directory is in <b>Red</b> Status and showing error message <b>"Cache notification from Integration Repository failedError when accessing the Integration Directory"</b>
What could be possible reason of both these errors?
Thanks and Regards

  • How to enable viewing of payload for receiver RFC adapter in RWB

    HI All,
    We can see the payload of all adapters in RWB by clicking on the message link under component >> adapter monitoirng. However when i click on message link for receiver RFC adapter, it does not show any payload. How can I enable this payload?

    Hey
    Sync messages are Cached rather than persisted in RWB to save memory.
    You need to change the following parameter in Visual admin to see sync messages in RWB
    Service SAP XI AF Messaging:
    messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody = false
    its set to True by default hence it does not stores the messages.
    You may have to restart the Java stack after the changes (but first try without restarting the Java stack).
    Thanks
    Aamir
    Pl:You will see the sync messages in Message Monitoring in RWB (not sure if it will show up in Communication channel monitoring as well)

  • No messages in Moni or RWB

    Dear All,
    We have done with PI 7.0 Post-Installation and Readiness check. Everything looks ok as per document.
    i have created a scenario Idoc---> XI --->File....
    i have done necessary setting at sxmb_adm.... too.
    i am not able to see any message in sxmb_moni nor at RWB.
    Atleast i should get error messages if anything is wrong ,which i am not getting.
    Could anyone tell me does i need to do check any service ..
    i see all adapters in rwb in grey color..any service to be activated or will be in grey in 7.0 version.
    Any suggestions is highly appreciated and awarded.
    Kind Regards,
    Vijay

    hi vijay,
    u need to check whether IDOC reached XI or not.
    so for this u need to go to SM58 tcode(any IDOCS with errors) and check any errors available.
    if u get "nothing to be displayed" then go to we02
    we02 gives u IDOC list delivered to receiver systems.
    before this execute BD75 TCODE and in that five the commit filed as blank
    now press "F8".
    after this go to we02 in that select the date range ,if u find the IDOC in 03(reached port but not reciever) then it has not reached XI and u can find the problem in SM58.
    if it is "12" then IDOC was successfully posted to XI system.
    u r not able to see any IDOC in XI means it is not out of sender R/3.
    if any issues plz revert
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Monitoring,RWB

    Hi All,
    IDOC,HTTP,XI adapters reside on the ABAP Stack ,so they cannot be monitored in RWB.
    1.So how can we monitor IDOC,HTTP,XI Adapters?
    2.Cant we monitor RFC Adapter in RWB ?
    3.Can we monitor the XI Adapter in SXMB_MONI?
    4.Can we monitor SOAP ,MAIL,JDBC Adapters in RWB and SXMB_MONI?
    5.What exactly done in the Support Project?Please explain with the examples.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ravi ,
    Thanks for the reply.
    1) IDOC, HTTP and XI adapter messages can be monitored from SXMB_MONI itself.
    IDX5 can be used to monitor IDOC mesages.
    How to check whether data is being posted by HTTP or not?
    4) We can monitor SOAP ,MAIL,JDBC Adapters in RWB . The audit logs for all the Java based adapters are not accesible from SXMB_MONI, you have to use RWB only.
    Can you please tell me how to monitor SOAP,MAIL,JDBC Adapters ?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Adapters not found!

    Hi,
    I couldnt able to see any adapters other than JPR.our basis guy imported BASIS package ,I could see Basis component in IR.we did CPA Cache full refresh but still we didnt see any adapters in RWB ->Adapter monitoring.
    he imported Basis pkg that he downloaded from service market place.
    or does it need to be export BASIS SWCV in SLD and import that into IR as .tpz?
    or either of them is fine?
    thank you,
    babu

    hi

    Solution
    In the Runtime Workbench in the Component Monitoring (hierarchy display),
    check whether all expected components are listed completely.
    The integration server is usually missing in the case of inconsistencies caused by the upgrade.
    Under 'Technical Landscape' in the SLD, select the "Exchange Infrastructure" technical system type.
    Check whether all XI components of the same XI domain are assigned and whether there are several XI domains for the server.
    There may be two domains with similar names, one with a fully-qualified host name and one with a short host name.
    This is an inconsistency.
    Often, the integration server and another XI component
    (directory, repository, or adapter engine) are not assigned to the same domain either.
    You can solve the inconsistencies as follows:
    1. In the SLD editing interface, choose "Administration" -> "Content Maintenance".
    Select "XI Integration Server" from the drop-down menu, and navigate to the associations of the integration server.
    Select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association and delete the association by choosing 'Remove'.
    2. Switch to "Home" in the "Technical Landscape" view, and select the "Exchange Infrastructure" technical system type there.
    Select all domains and XI components for the host and delete these by selecting them and pressing 'Remove'.
    3. Restart the J2EE server.
    After you restart the server, the XI components log on to the SLD again and create a new entity of class "XI Integration Server".
    4. To register the directory and repository again, you must also log on to the two tools.
    5. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether all XI components are logged on correctly (Adapter Engine, Integration Directory, Integration Repository, Integration Server and Runtime Workbench/RWB).
    The Adapter Engine components may be missing.
    If so, stop and restart in the J2EE Visual Admin --> Server --> Services, and deploy application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.cpa.app.
    6. Change again to the administration interface --> content maintenance for the associations of the XI Integration Server.
    Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Sub-System viewed Application System" association type here, and in the next step choose the BC system for the Integration Server.
    Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
    Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association type here, and in the next step choose the business system for the Integration Server.
    Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
    7. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether the assignment to the application system is also displayed there (the business system in which the Integration Server is running should appear in the "Application System" column for the Integration Server).
    8. To make the changed associations known in the directory, the SLD temporary storage must be deleted in the directory.
    To do this, log on to the Integration Directory and choose 'Environment --> Delete temporary storage areas for SLD data'

  • Adapter Framework File Adapter Message on hold

    Hello,
    we have a problem with the Adapter Framework and their the File Adapter / Messaging System.
    We process one HR IDOC from R/3 through XI and send it to 7 file adapters. The SXMB_MONI tells us that all messages have been processed without errors and when you go to the RWB and use the Message-Monitoring many messages are on status HOLD. XI makes the message EOIO once you have multiple receivers and something blocks the messages in the AF. Is there a way to delete the AF queues like the XI queues with SMQ1 or SMQ2. It looks like SAP had duplicated the SMQ business in JAVA but I found no documentation how to clean up queues or what to do if the get stuck.
    Thanks
    Stefan

    hi,
    you can try question 3 adapters section
    on the XI FAQ:
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/06/28/xipi-faq-frequently-asked-questions
    to see adapters in RWB
    but if you see them when you do it then
    it means that this XI's configuration was not complete
    so you may expect further problems

  • Steps after post installation

    Dear all,
    I'm done with the post installation steps for P17.0 SR2.
    When I login to IR and ID, no objects are found, and to test a file to file scenario.
    I checked for adapters here RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine -> Adapter Monitoring , could only find JPR, other adapters were missing.
    Can anyone direct me with the detailed steps of importing BASIC SCV's from SLD and required steps for testing a end to end scenario.
    If anyone has a document or some  material , listing out the steps, please mail me at [email protected]
    Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Younus

    To get the display of all the adapters
    Follow the below steps:
    1) Download XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz which is available in a zipped format from the SAP Service Market Place.
    2) Unzip the contents and copy the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz (if you are using PI 7.0 or else download the file for your XI version) to
    /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/
    3) Goto Repository (Design)
    4) Choose -> Tools -> Import Design Objects
    Also if there Is any error u are getting

  • In XI no adapters are visible RWB  and the error "AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR"

    In XI no adapters are visible in the RWB  and I get the error "AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR"<BR>
    It happens after a database copy from PRD to QAS.<BR>
    I tried restarting the system, and checked the SLD content. Also the cash is refreshed.<BR>
    The standard after care actions are carried out, like: SXMB_ADM, SMICM, SE06, STMS, Exchange Profile, SM59, RZ20 and RZ21, SLD content, SLDAPICUST and RZ70.
    Thanks in advance

    When in XI no adapters are visible RWB  or you get the error "AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR" I have several steps for this:
    <P>
    Check that all adapters are running in the Visual Administrator (under services)
    <P>
    Make sure the RFC's to the SLD (SAPSLDAPI) and Exchange profile (LCRSAPRFC) are maintaint correct in SM59.<BR>
    Check this also with transaction SLDcheck
    <P>
    Make sure the correct URL is maintaint in SXMB_ADM > Integration Engine configuration<BR>
    This should be like : http://hostname:80nr/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    Check the settings with F7.
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in the ExchangeProfile.<BR>
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in SAP (check for locked users with RSUSR200).<BR>
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in the SLD if this is a standalone (check for locked users).<BR>
    Try logging on with all XI users in the useradmin of the SLD (http://hostname:5nr00/useradmin)<BR>
    Sometimes a new password must be set. You can set it directly to the old password.<BR>
    <P>
    If there is a problem that not all XI components are shown in the SLD: see note 764176
    <P>
    If there is a problem between the function module SAI_AE_DETAILS_GET (line 241 adapaterType) and the SLD
    <P>
    (class browser > tab LD > XI Adapter Service : it shows AdapterType).<BR>
    In this case create a repair in the function module by editting it and transport it to the other XI  systems.
    <P>
    Restart XI
    <P>
    Perform a cache refresh:<BR>
       http://hostname:5nr00/CPACache/refresh?mode=full<BR>
       use the XIDIRUSER user
    <P>
       http://hostname:5nr00/rwb/rtc?op=init<BR>
       use the XIRWBUSER user
    <P>
       SAP transaction SXI_CACHE > start complete cache refresh (shift F6)<BR>
    <P>
    Sometimes a restart of the service SAP XI AF messaging is nessesary.<BR>
    You can perform this restart via the Visual Administrator<BR>
    <P>
    If all does not work: check if the content is up to date.<BR>
    Sometimes after a patchlevel upgrade, the XI basis content is forgotten.<BR>
    Importing the XI Content for Software Component Version SAP Basis 6.40 SR1:<BR>
    Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_<PATCHNR>_00.tpz to directory <BR>
    <P>
    /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/<BR>
    Goto the the XI Repository (Design).<BR>
    Choose ? Tools ? Import Design Objects<BR>
    Choose the file XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_<PATCHNR>_00.tpz<BR>
    Import the file
    <P>
    Check if the XI services in SICF are active.<BR>
    Activate them with : SE38 > RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES<BR>
    <P>
    Transaction SUPC (mass generation of roles) for all SAP_XI* roles.<BR>
    And perform a User comparison in transaction PFCG for all SAP_XI_* rolles<BR>
    <P>
    User comparision (via SU01 > PISUPER > dubbelclick on each roll)<BR>
    <P>
    Check the CIM content of the SLD.<BR>
    This is very intensive work.<BR>
    Check and compare with a correct running XI/PI system the content.<BR>
    SLD > Administration > Content Management<BR>
    Check and compare all components that have associasions!!!<BR>
    <P>
    Perform a complete cache refresh via URL:<BR>
    http://hostname:5nr00/rep/start/index.jsp<BR>
      Administration > Repository > Cache overview<BR>
      Administration > Directory > Cache overview<BR>
      Administration > Runtime > Cache overview<BR>

  • Communication channel not visible in RWB

    Hello everyone,
    I am not able to view the communication channel in RWB. This is a HTTP sender . i have imported it but still it is not visible in  RWB. what could be the reason ?
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
    In PI there are basically two types of adapter, adapter engine based and Integration engine based. Integration engine based adapters are HTTP, XI and IDOC. These adapters can be monitored from ABAP stack means from SXI_MONITOR and adapter engine based can be monitored from RWB. Due to this differentiation you HTTP adatper is not visitble in RWB. But you can monitor it from ABAP stack.

  • Comm Channels are not seen in the Communication Channel Monitoring in RWB

    Hello All,
    I am facing a strange Problem. In the RWB i am not able to see the Comm Channels that i have configured in the Integration Directory. In the Adapter Monitoring also I am not able to see the Adapters with Green Status.
    I am on PI 7.0 and SP9. For a simple IDOC to File Scenario, the IDOC is getting sent but the File is not getting written. I have to monitor it for this. As the Comm Channels are not showing so I am not able to Montitor.
    Can anyone please suggest me how to do this montoring and how can I see the Comm Channels that I have created.
    Thanks in Anticipation
    Best Regards
    Chakra and Somnath
