Adapters not visiable in FDM
Hi All,
We are using FDM V11.1.2, every thing is installed and working fine
but the problem is we are able to see only ES11X-G4-G(Essbase) as a target adapter there are no other adapters visiable and the same for Source Adapters also we are not able to see a single adapter....
can one help us in gettting this solved...
Hello,
Each Adapter is a seperate installation. That is why they are seperate .zip files on the eDelivery and also seperate documentation/installation notes on OTN. If you need multiple target adapters; then you will need to import multiple XMLs ... or duplicate the one you have.
Thank you,

How to extract data from ORCL GL in "full" and not "delta " with FDM ERPI?
Hi
I am using FDM ERPI 11.1.2.1 to extrct data from Oracle eBS 11.
I can see that FDM ERPI extracts data in "delta mode" using the GL_TRACK_BALANCES_DELTA (FDM adds a row in this table after the 1st load of the period").
Is it possible to force the "full mode" in order to reload all the data from Oracle GL for each FDM data load?
Because I don't know why, but I have each month rows which are not imported into FDM.
thanks in advance for your help
FannyHi
I had see that I have to install the FDM 11.1.2.1.502 patch in order to see this option in my ERPI adapter options.
I have passed this patch.
So I have the ERPI-FIN-C1 adaptor.
I can see a new option (Time Out Value) but no "Load Data" or "Execution mode" option :-(
Any idea of where the problem come from?

It fails when I create user in OIM using flat file GTC . I have an access policy to auto proviosion that user with ldap.
As mentioned before, I notice none of the prepops on Ldap process form are able to read value from Xel user form.
Steps I tried Already:
1- Checking access policy
2-remapping process form adapters

JMS & File adapters not working after SPS20 update
Hello,
after an update to SPS20, which was proposed by SAP support to resolve an
issue with the CPA cache, the File adapter sender and receiver and the
JMS adapter sender are not working any more, however JMS receiver
adapters are still functional. In communication monitoring the error
message for the file receiver is:
Message processing failed. Cause:

method process.
resp. for the file sender:

method process.
and for the JMS adapter I006_GX1TG_JMS_Sender:
Error while processing message 'db056357-5232-4c35-028e-bc51fa858038';

when invoking an ftp sender channel, polling works, the files are
retrieved from the server, but after that, we get an error. What could be
the cause of this behaviour?
log & trace files could be provided.

On the SM59 tx in the ERP the test connections are failing for the RFC destinations that we are using on this environment, and these were working in the past.
Also, BASIS team notify us that the programs are registered so they don't know that else to do on their side.
The actions I took were:
CPA full refresh cache
Restart all PI components (done by BASIS team)
Stop and start channels
Inactivate and Activate channels
Please notice that all these processes were working in the past and there were NO modifications on the same.
Where can I continue looking on these errors to find the issue?
Any help will be very appreciated!
Thanks in advanced!
Regards.Claudio
The error indicates that the channel has been stopped. Did you check the administrative logs in the comm channel monitor to see if someone or an ATP schedule has stopped the channel?

Adapters not showing in Adapter monitorin

T-Systems India Limited.Hi Chandra,
This may be because of inconsistencies in SLD. Please check OSS note 764176 for this. it has listed out a number of possible solutions for this issue. I have pasted them below. However I would recommend reading the entire OSS notes.
Solution steps:
1. In the SLD editing interface, choose "Administration" -> "Content Maintenance". Select "XI Integration Server" from the drop-down menu, and navigate to the associations of the integration server. Select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association and delete the association by choosing 'Remove'.
2. Switch to "Home" in the "Technical Landscape" view, and select the "Exchange Infrastructure" technical system type there. Select all domains and XI components for the host and delete these by selecting them and pressing 'Remove'.
3. Restart the J2EE server. After you restart the server, the XI components log on to the SLD again and create a new entity of class "XI Integration Server".
4. To register the directory and repository again, you must also log on to the two tools.
5. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether all XI components are logged on correctly (Adapter Engine, Integration Directory, Integration Repository, Integration Server and Runtime Workbench/RWB). The Adapter Engine components may be missing. If so, stop and restart in the J2EE Visual Admin --> Server --> Services, and deploy application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.cpa.app.
6. Change again to the administration interface --> content maintenance for the associations of the XI Integration Server.
Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Sub-System viewed Application System" association type here, and in the next step choose the BC system for the Integration Server. Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association type here, and in the next step choose the business system for the Integration Server. Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
7. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether the assignment to the application system is also displayed there (the business system in which the Integration Server is running should appear in the "Application System" column for the Integration Server).
8. To make the changed associations known in the directory, the SLD temporary storage must be deleted in the directory. To do this, log on to the Integration Directory and choose 'Environment --> Delete temporary storage areas for SLD data'.
regards.

Powerline adapters not working
On returning from holiday Monday afternoon I found that, although I could flick through the TV channels, there was no program information being displayed. I powered down everything and restarted it. Eventually an error message was displayed (C01).
I think I trcked the problem down to the powerline adapters as no lights came on. I tried them in another socket and still no joy. I also noticed that one of them was making a whistling sound. In fact it has been doing that for the past month.
I logged a fault and received a reference number 110530-004293 but since then I have heard nothing.
How long am I likely to have to wait before I can watch TV again?Had the same problem. One of the powerline adapters had failed (The one the Vision+ box is connected) , no lights showing. Called BT help line on 08001114567 on Friday 17th and got to talk to an operative pretty quickly. After consulting his supervisor I was advised a new pair of powerline adapters would arrive Monday or Tuesday (20/21). Arrived yesterday Monday. Plugged them in today and the BT Vision box would not connect until I had reset the home hub and the Vision+ box. Now seems to be OK. Excellent service from BT.
MY PROBLEM is I also have a third powerline adapter which connects a computer at the other side of the house, wwfi is no good too much iron in the bricks and there is also a steel girder in the line of the signal. This powerline adapter is of the previous type Comtrend Power Grid 902 and the new ones are Comtrend Powergrid 9020, these appear to be unique to BT.
CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME IF I CAN RESET THE OLD TYPE (POWER GRID 902) TO MATCH THE PG9020 TO KEEP THIS COMPUTER CONNECTED TO THE HOME HUB. I have the instructions 'How to add a new Powerline to your existing network' for the PG902 but do not want to try it in case I mess up the setting on the new Powergrids.
Perhaps the BT Administrator could answer this. -
Iam working on PI 7.0 . When Iam configuring I can find adapters .
But , after configuration is over , when Iam trying to see the adapter status in
RUNTIME WORK BENCH , I dont find any adapters.
Any configuration settings need to be done .
Pls help.Hi,
Have you check if your CCs are visible in XI runtime cache - SXI_CACHE, under Communication Channels?
If not try to refresh the cache: Menu -> XI Runtime Cache -> ... Delta ... or ... Full ...

Using two bluetooth adapters (not devices) together in OSX?
I was wondering if its possible to allow OSX to use two bluetooth adapters at the same time? In windows, when you plug in two adapters, it places two bluetooth icons in the system tray. It seems when I try this with OSX, the main adapter is used, and the secondary adapter gets listed as a keyboard im guessing, as a window pops up saying it doesnt recognise my keyboard (even though i own no bluetooth keyboards), and it shows up with an improper mac address with the main bluetooth adapter, but not as its own. Is there any way to make OSX notice the second adapter?
EDIT: I guess I should specify my reasoning for this. on windows, because of the way bluetooth works, ps3 controllers need to isolate the bluetooth adapter, rendering a bluetooth adapter solely for the ps3 controller. obviously this works in osx without isolation, but I noticed that since the ps3 controller pairs by mac address, using the same adapter results in only having to pair the controller to osx and windows once, rather than having to pair each time i switched between systems. Also, I would still like to use the second adapter as its own for pairing other devices.
Message was edited by: unvaluablespaceHi,
Thank for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.
Based on my research, two Bluetooth adaptors can work at same time.
In your case, the major problem is the dongle can’t start. I suggest you could test if the new Bluetooth adapter could work in another computer?
Meanwhile, the Code 10 error pertains mainly to hardware and device driver issues or to compatibility issues between hardware drivers and additional software
that is installed in Windows. Therefore, we recommend that you troubleshoot these issues by focusing on device drivers, on device configuration issues, and on hardware compatibility issues.
I recommend you could refer to:
Description of Code 10-related errors that Device Manager generates in Windows-based computers
Hope it helps.

Adapters Not Listed After Install
All,
I downloaded the Oracle AS adapters and installed it. I tried creating a new JCA configuration in the Adapter explorer. When I say connect, I don't see any of the adapters... Are there any files that I need to copy??? I am trying to use PeopleSoft Adapter...
Could any one please help??
Thanks, VishHi Bujji,
try restarting CPA cache from visual Administrator.
If this does not solve your problem, have a look at the troubleshooting section in this document

Multiple magsafe adapters not working with multiple mbps
I have two retina macbook pro 13" laptops, the more recent one being a late 2013 model. Neither one of them seems to respond to magsafe adapters consistently anymore (i've used four magsafe2 adapters and both machines). light doesn't come on or sometimes comes on. currently, i can sometimes get power but in the "not charging" state. But if i pull the adapter and reseat it doesn't always even do that. i've reset the SMC and also reset the PRAM. Neither one has changed this. Any thoughts?
I'm having a similar issue, but cannot see anything to do with airplay in the SysPref > Sound menu. My mac is too old to run Yosemite, so looking to find another way to get this fixed. Any ideas?

Hi friends....
I've just configured the file-to-file scenario but noticed that the file is not being uploaded....
i tried checking the communication channels in the "Adapter Engine" but no adapters are listed there....
It only shows "JPR" with a red mark and the error says "unable to get data from SLD. No class found for XI1.System_Businesssystem."
Note : XI1 is our server name here.....
Please do help me resolve this issue...any help would be highly appreciated.....
Thank You,
HariHI hari krishna,
You need to create a business system WEB AS JAVA for the adpter engine in SLD.
Your error is >>>"unable to get data from SLD. No class found for XI1.System_Businesssystem."
Yourbusiness system is not defined in sld for Adapter engine.
Please refer to following threads

Hi,
I couldnt able to see any adapters other than JPR.our basis guy imported BASIS package ,I could see Basis component in IR.we did CPA Cache full refresh but still we didnt see any adapters in RWB ->Adapter monitoring.
he imported Basis pkg that he downloaded from service market place.
or does it need to be export BASIS SWCV in SLD and import that into IR as .tpz?
or either of them is fine?
thank you,
babuhi
May this will be useful to u.

SXI_CACHE
Solution
In the Runtime Workbench in the Component Monitoring (hierarchy display),
check whether all expected components are listed completely.
The integration server is usually missing in the case of inconsistencies caused by the upgrade.
Under 'Technical Landscape' in the SLD, select the "Exchange Infrastructure" technical system type.
Check whether all XI components of the same XI domain are assigned and whether there are several XI domains for the server.
There may be two domains with similar names, one with a fully-qualified host name and one with a short host name.
This is an inconsistency.
Often, the integration server and another XI component
(directory, repository, or adapter engine) are not assigned to the same domain either.
You can solve the inconsistencies as follows:
To do this, log on to the Integration Directory and choose 'Environment --> Delete temporary storage areas for SLD data'
