ADC Members must agree to the ADC Membership Agreement.

Hi,
I am trying to purchase the ADC Technical Support package within the Apple Online Store but every time I add it to my basket it says "ADC Members must agree to the ADC Membership Agreement."
I have logged into my account but cannot find a link so that I can agree to the terms.
Thank for any help.

I have the same problem, although I have iTunes on two different computers (same version) but only have the problem on my laptop (MacBook). This only started happening recently--I ran iTunes without this problem many times.
I don't share music across my two computers (almost all of my music is on my desktop, and I hardly ever listen to the few songs on my laptop) and I don't have AppleTV or anything too off the wall.
Recent upgrades to iTunes doesn't seem to have fixed this, either.

Hello Im trying to download a game but I need to agree to the new apple agreement, how can I do this?

Reset your Apple ID password, instructions here >  Apple - My Apple ID
Then launch iTunes on your computer. Then from the menu bar click Store / View My Account / Edit Payment Information.
Make sure your billing information is correct including the expiration date for your credit or debit card and the security code then click Done.
Restart your iPod. Try downloading an app.
If you are using a credit balance from an iTunes gift card make sure there are sufficient funds to cover any purchases from the account area in the iTunes store.

  • Every time I log into iTunes I must agree to the terms of agreement

No matter how many times I agree I must do it again and again.
This problem has been occurring for quite some time now, and more recently all of my music was taken off of iTunes. Every time I add new music it seems fine, that is until I log off and back on to find that the songs have been taken off again.
I have tried reinstalling twice to no success. I am suspicious that the cause of my music continually being taken off has something to do with the fact that I must accept the terms of agreement every time.
    Answers greatly appreciated.

  • My iPod won't go past asking me to agree to the Software License Agreement

Hi, I have an iPod nano and every time I connect it to my computer, it asks me to check the box saying, "I have read and agree to the iPod Software License Agreement". Once I click agree and save the agreement to my computer, nothing happens; the contract does not go away. I cannot view what music is on my iPod or alter it. What should I do?

If you are clicking the SAVE button, you may not be seeing the entire agreement and are clicking the wrong button. Change the resolution of your screen to 1024 or larger and see if you see the REAL agreement button and then click it, you can then resize the screen back to how you liked it before.
But this may not be it as others have reported agreeing to the license page and still getting it over and over. Hopefully you fall into the first category where you simply don't see the whole thing.

  • I installed Acrobat Pro using AAM. It asks I agree to the terms and agreement. However, I can't!

    Can anyone help me out?
The box where the agreement is supposed to be is blank. The pulldown at the top is empty. And the "Accept" button does nothing. My only option is to quit.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Can't even hit agree for the security agreement

I have downloaded the Itunes software, but I can't even sync anything to my new Ipod nano because I can't even agree to the software license agreement! There is no scroll bar on the bottom of my screen when I look at the software license agreement page, so I can't scroll to hit the button on the right, bottom of the page to agree to the terms of the software agreement. So by not being able to do that I can't sync my ipod. Can anyone help with this?? Thanks soooo much!!!

Open the Control Panel, click on Displays, and increase the number of displayed pixels.

  • I can't get past the Software License Agreement in itunes

Whenever I connect my ipod to itunes all I get is the 'Software License Agreement' come up. Even though I've clicked the "I have read & agree to the license software agreement" & then saved it in 'My Documents' it never gets past this stage. Is this some kind of fault?
I can "drop & drag" music from itunes in to my ipod but I cannot see what's loaded on to it from itunes. I can also safely "eject" it from itunes. Attempting to reset my ipod doesn't appear to help either.

    Right click on the desktop.
    Select Properties.
    Click the Settings tab.
    Drag the slider to 1024x768.

  • Do Apple engineers actually post to the ADC developer forums?

Apple claim that their engineers post on the ADC developer forums. Is this actually true?
I'm wondering if its worth paying membership fees for the ADC, one of the things that would attract me is if its possible to get answers to questions
in its forum that can't be found in other forums.(questions which are perhaps off-the-beaten-track and you won't find answers to in how-to Cocoa type books. i.e. questions about .kexts, nkes, accessing the modem etc. (mac modem not iphone modem) and so on).
Is there a good degree of accurate knowledgeable feedback, from Apple Engineers, or knowledgable experienced developers in that forum?
    Thanks

You do need to be a paid ADC member. I just joined the iPhone program. I can see the iPhone forums but not the MacOS X forums.
You can also post on the Apple mailing lists. Apple engineers regularly post there as well.
Keep in mind that there is not necessarily anything special about an Apple engineer. They aren't going to impart any confidential information. Even if they did, such information would probably change without notice at some pointer - that was why it was confidential. A non-Apple engineer may actually have more experience than someone from Apple and could give you unfettered opinions about various technologies.

  • Connecting DVI Monitor to the ADC port

I have a G5 with dual video ports. One is an ADC Port and the other is a DVI port. I want to get rid of my Apple display and connect two Dell monitors both of which have a DVI connectors. How do I connect a DVI connector to the ADC port? The DVI to ADC adapter is for connecting a ADC Apple display to a DVI port. Is there an adapter for doing the opposite--a DVI plug to a ADC port?
    Power Mac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

The ADC to DVI adapter is for connecting a DVI LCD to the ADC port. It cannot be used with a DVI to VGA adapter to connect a VGA display to an ADC port. For that you need an ADC to VGA adapter, such as:
    <http://www.mac-pro.com/s.nl/it.A/id.230/.f?sc=2&category=128>
These are becoming scarce as the ADC is no longer being manufactured.
Your Sun monitor should work from the ADC port using the ADC to DVI adapter, and the Fujitsu from the DVI port using the DVI to VGA adapter.

  • Dual Core Power PC G5 and the ADC 17" Clear Display

Anyone know of any incompatibilities between the two? I am using the Apple DVI to ADC Adaptor and when I turn it on I see nothing on the display. Ideas anyone? The display is the 17" Clear see through CRT Display.

The Apple and Dr. Botts DVI to ADC adapters do not provide the RGB analog signals needed for a CRT monitor. The Gefen adapter
<http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=1203> does provide these signals but its power supply is not designed for the extra power a CRT display needs. See <http://www.applefritter.com/node/4008>
In the link, one person was using the Gefen adapter with a CRT, but the power supply was getting VERY hot. Buying the Gefen adapter and a new, bigger, power supply, would be the easiest way to get things to work. The only cable cutting would be moving the cable from the Gefen power supply to the new power supply. That would just be a two wire cable. If you can find the matching plug for the Gefen power supply, you wouldn't have to use the Gefen power cable, but make your own, which is probably better because Gefen might be using wires too small for the extra current.

Hello - if you are seeing any report problem or exceptions on UI, then (a) try without the filter. (b) Try another type of view and see if error reoccurs (c) see if your dataobject (the field on the filter) has any null or invalid data (or wrong type or format).
Also - for these type of errors - it is better to export your dataobject and report and send it to support. We have fixed these types of errors from 10.1.2 to 10.1.3- so I guess this is more with respect to your data or report design. • About the ADC full scale??

    Hi, this is sunny again.
I got two new questions here:
    1. At the beginning of each project, the FPGA
resources (I/O, clock, etc)are added to the project in the project
explorer and I clicked the property of DAC IQ clock, its frequency is
fixed(e.g. 25MHz). Later when various interpolation values are applied
to the DAC, the DAC IQ clock shall be changed. But, when I clicked the
property of DAC IQ clock again, its frequency is still the original
one. So I guess the user doesn't have to care about the clock in the
property, it will be changed automatically. Am I right?
    2.  what is the full scale voltage of the ADC? I looked at the analog input/output example code, it said that 1.68Vpk-pk is the full scale for I16, so the resolution shall be 0.86/32768. But I looked another example the burst OOK  demodulate VI, it said that "Threshold which is 300 (signed 16 bit fixed point representation for 0.02)" , how come this 0.02 ? I am very confused . So, what is the relationship between the Analog signal and its digital representation? I looked up the datasheet of the ADC but failed to find out it.
    Thanks!!

    Sunny,
    1. You are right. The user need not worry about the clock propery. This property is only required for compilation. The Host VI configures the clock at run time.
    2. a. IF-RIO has a 14 bit ADC and not 16 bit. Only 14 bits are of use out of the 16 bits of the IQ data. Hence the use of I14.1 representation for I and Q.
        b. (I^2 + Q^2) needs to be  > threshold, to detect the burst. Threshold=300 (I16)= 0.0046 (signed 16.0 format). This is a typo in the doc.
Your approach is right. If you know that your signal amplitude is 0.86, then you can calculate the threshold value and use its I16 equivalent representation to detect the burst.
But if you do not know, 300 seems to work fine. Good question!!
Regarding the follow-up question, you can now represent fractions using fixed point data type in LV 8.5!
    Cheers,
