Adcfgclone.pl Port Error While Cloning 11.5.10

Currently we are in the process of cloning our 11.5.10 development instance. We are currently experiencing an error while running adcfgclone.pl. The current error we are dealing with is listed below. Any help/feedback with the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Thank you for your help. Our Unix Admin did a port check and was able to conclude that port 9010 was being occupied by an existing process. In turn we decided to change from port pool 10 to port pool 7. Now our forms server port is 9007.
adcfgclone.pl has completed successful and we have completed our clone.

I tried to run autoconfig manually and i find that it couldnt create the dbc file with the following error:

11.2.0.2 ships with perl 5.10.0. So you need to change the values of context variables pointing to PERL5LIB and ADPERLPRG inside the context file.
vi $CONTEXT_FILE
Global replace 5.8.3 with 5.10.0
Save
cd $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/template
vi adxdbctx.tmp
Global replace 5.8.3 with 5.10.0
Run adcfgclone.pl, or adconfig or adpreclone.pl and it should work now.

While cloning test database from our production database using RMAN, we happen to get the following error..

I am cloning a database and change name of database i follow document

Please check the following error text which you have : 
ORA-01565: error in identifying file 'string' 
Cause: An error occurred while trying to identify a file. 
Action: Check the error stack for detailed information. 
 
ORA-27035: logical block size is invalid 
Cause: logical block size for oracle files must be a multiple of the physical block size, and less than the maximum 
Action: block size specified is returned as additional information, check init.ora parameters, additional information also indicates which function encountered the error 
 
So, be sure for file string. Be sure that you use the same block_size in either source and target database. 
 
Anyway, you would realize this without recreate controlfile. Just copy the files, start in mount state, rename file according to the new location, and open your new db. Then use dbid utility to rename your db. See an example here

USR0013 , Firewall / Port errors while logging in to Designer - VPN

[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Transport error: Communication failure.
(hr=#0x80042a01)
we are experiencing issues (err mentioned above) while logging in to our desinger through VPN on XIR2 windows env. when we try connecting to designer our ports are getting blocked in the firewall. the firewall log shows that ports ranging >1024 are being blocked (couple of instances we identified it as 1074,1075, 1076 1058,1059 etc...) (6400 is allowed, telnet works fine)
the ports show ranging from 1058 --> 1074 and keeps changing on every log on. (this way our admins are unable to foresee and allow the port no.s )

there are a few way to do the NAT on 8.3+, one involves adding NAT to the objects (as you have done in your config). the other involves, making the objects and just putting in a NAT statement into the config (more intuitive to me):
I recommend taking the NAT config off the object, and then doing this:
1. define your objects, LAN, WAN, Server, etc (with no NAT features)
2. go to the ASDM | Firewall | NAT, and then start defining your NAT's there:
source WAN, dst LAN, source IP = any, dest IP = Public IP
translated IP = inside IP, source port = keep it 8080, or change it to something else if needed.
3. now that you have those items, you have to do the "8.3+ stupid ACL," as I like to refer to it, as I think its a bad implementation. Goto the _outside_ interface ACL, and then allow the 8080 traffic from any to the _INSIDE_ ip of the server, not the _OUTSIDE_ IP.
Sorry for the generalizations, but the config is pretty long. the above steps to me are the most intuitive - at least as much as you can get. the item 3 is still a sore spot with me on the 8.3+ FW OS.
Lastly, regarding your VPN traffic, define an ACL on the outside interface to allowing the VPN traffic through, pretending your VPN IP's are traversing through the outside interface to the inside. Or you can enable this command to have ASA do the ACL automatically:
sysopt connection permit-vpn
Then you have to create a NAT0 (no-nat) using the NAT GUI in ASDM. essentially you keep the IP's unchanged in the NAT configuration line (and it does no-nat). its pretty intuitive with the ASDM GUI.

Port error while deploying a dictonary project to j2ee server

Hello,
I created a dictonary project in sap netweaver developer studio 7.1.The j2ee server and the database (both on a remote server) are running and configured.
When i try to deploy it i get the following errors

om.sap.ide.eclipse.deployer.api.APIException: ConnectionException,cause=[ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1144] NamingException.Cannot get initial context.
Reason: Exception during getInitialContext operation. Cannot establish connection to the remote server.
The error is guess is the port number.My server is configured on port 50000 and here it is showing 50004.If i am correct then how do i configure my applications port number?
I searched and saw some messages like open \usr\SAP\<SID>\SYS\profile ,edit the port and similar solutions.Where is this "\usr\SAP\<SID>\SYS\profile " location?My server is on a remote machine.How do i configure my client to pick up the correct port ?

Error while cloning database to a different host

Hi,
I'm using rman to clone a database from host1 to host2. The directory structures on host2 is different from host1 for the datafiles and control file.
I have changed the init.ora file on host2 to reflect the new path for the control files.
Within the run command I have:

The message seems to be clear, did you check the file permissions on host2? You cannot create undotbs01.dbf, because the existing permissions don't allow it.

I think there is something wrong with the ")" in the listener.ora : the second SID_DESC is not part of the SID_LIST.
Instead of

i am getting followin error while doin clone.

Error while running adlnktools.sh.

i have checked log file. it gives multiple follwoin error.
ld: Can't find library for -ljava

i think there is some other issue.
Details:
OS: HP UX Itanium.
Apps Release: R12. (12.0.6)
Cloing from production server to devlopment server.
we already have clone some inatnace on the same server.
i have gone through with suggested note but SHLIB_PATH is already set to $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/lib.....
clone instance is started also, but only Internal Manager only running devlopment server and rest all manager are showing prodution server node name and not running.
manager log for standard manager

i was cloning my PROD instance to a Test instance and while configuring the target system database server
