Add a bluetooth pairing to a BTN200 headset

Hi,
The only way to connect to a new device is by first resetting the pairings by pushing the phone button and on-off buttn for 10 seconds.
This I have to doech time I switch the sending device. ( Samsung tab3, Acer smarphone, Taotronics transmitter)
What is the proper way to add a pairing while keeping the older ones?
How can I consult the existing pairings?
How can I select the proper device whn more than one device is sending bluetooth signals?
Thanks.

The headset can be paired with up to 8 devices. Make sure you do proper Bluetooth initialization (pages 41-42 of the manual). Bluetooth pairing only works one at a time and not at the same time.

  • Bluetooth to Bluetooth Pairing up...

i just got my i-phone on Friday and i was wondering if any knows why you can't pair up 2 i-phones bluetooth to bluetooh.. ?? i found my head set but not my wife's i-phone ?? anyone know ?? also, is there any way to add a custom ring tone when you get a text message instead of the usual ring tones it has built in ?? your help is greatly appreciated it..

Sorry, but Bluetooth pairing to anything other than headsets and some car systems is not a feature of the iPhone. Whether or not that will appear in the future, no one here can say.

  • Bluetooth Pairing Difficulties

I have been attempting to pair my phone and headset with my T61, but am having some problems. Here are the details:
Function + F5 pulls up the radio control, and I turn on bluetooth. No problem.
I right click the bluetooth icon in the system tray and select "Add a Bluetooth Device". No problem.
The Bluetooth Device Selection window comes up, and I select my device, Motoroal HK250. During this time my headset is saying to go to the phone menu to complete pairing, enter 0000 if required. No problem.
After selecting my device and clicking next, a window comes up which says "Starting pairing with Motorla HK250..."
This is where the problem occurs. It will just stall at this point (hourglass next to cursor and a grayed out text box), and no matter how long I sit, nothing happens. Sometimes it will prompt me for the code, I enter 0000 and select enter, and it will stall at this point. Either way, it always stalls at this step, whether I attempt to pair to my headset or my phone.
I have previously paired both of these devices, so I think the problem is with my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi, kthnxbailol
Have you connected other Bluetooth headsets to this machine? If so, what were they? The HK250 uses Bluetooth 3.0 with Enhanced Data Rate, but the latest Bluetooth driver for the T61 running XP only functions as Bluetooth 1.2, so I am beginning to wonder if this is an issue of version compatibility. Of course, if other headsets from the Bluetooth 3.0 era have been succesfully connected to this machine, then this is likely not the case. Also, what other machines have you been able to connect the HK250 to?
    Thanks in advance,
    Adam

How do i add a bluetooth device to my mac?  There is no " +" button in my bluetooth preferences and turning the devices to discover mode doesn't work

The Bluetooth setup assistant should "find" a device in range when that device is turned on. What are you trying to add?

  • IPad mini retina won't bluetooth pair - even with Apple products!

my brand new ipad mini retina 128 doesn't bluetooth pair - even with an apple chicklet keyboard (or other keyboards or even with my iphone 5s)!!!!
    what a joke
I've read posts and tried resetting ipad, bluetooth, peripherals, etc
any suggestions? again, totally weak on apple's part

Also, iOS devices will not pair with any other iPhone or iPad as you have found out. They are designed to be paired with bluetooth keyboards, stereos, headsets and, for thethering only, phones and computers.

  • IOS 5 bluetooth pairing

Can't seem to get headset to pair with iPhone 4s . I shutoff bluetooth in settings, shut off headset, restarted both and still no pairing. Just a circle going round and round stating discovering. Any advice?
    Thanks

Having issue trying to pair a Bang & Olufsen Earset 2 with iPhone 4 recently upgraded to iOS 5.  The phone simply won't recognize the earset whether I press and hold the earset button, etc. This earset worked fine on same phone last week with prior version of OS.   Was able to geta Jawbone paired rather easily.
If anyone's been able to successfully pair a B&O Earset 2 with iOS 5, please share how it was done.
In general, the benefits of iOS 5 don't come close to the hassle of performing the upgrade.  Have had many, many issues and Apple's documentation is effectively useless.  They've managed to match the disappointment of many Windows upgrades with this release.

  • Is there a way to re-add a bluetooth device that has been forgotten?

Is there a way to re-add a bluetooth device that has been "forgotten"?  My iPhone does not look for my car radio and I have been unable to get it added to to the devices list.

You have to put both devices back into discovery mode for pairing. Check the vehicle and see if you can remove the iPhone from the vehicle first. Then turn on Bluetooth on the phone. Once you see the spinning wheel, you know it is ready to be discovered. Check the vehicle manual and put the vehicle into discovery/pairing mode. You should be able to reconnect from there.

  • Bluetooth Pairing w/ Jabra Halo

I successfully paired my Jabra Halo headset with my iPad a few days ago. It worked wonderfully well for several days. Then I paired my headset with my MacBookPro just fine. I went to pair the headset back with my iPad, and now it won't pair with it. I have unpaired and turned off the Bluetooth on my MacBook and still my iPad will see but not connect to my headset. I have also turned the Bluetooth on the iPad on and off, as well as the headset. It doesn't matter what I do, when I turn Bluetooth back on for the iPad, it will see the headset, but the Wheel of Death just spins and spins and it never pairs. It doesn't even give me the option of putting the pairing code back in on the iPad. What do I do to re-pair the headset with my iPad??
    Message was edited by: Loquos

It won't let me remove the headset from the Bluetooth menu. The button "forget this device" is grayed out. When I turn Bluetooth off and back on again, it still lists the headset and still displays the Wheel of Death and still has the button grayed out. I cannot for the life of me figure out what else to do. I have never before had such a problem with an Apple product, and I've been a loyal user for over 15 years. Maybe I am missing an update for my iPad? Is there anyway to 'reset' the device?

  • Pair 2 non-Apple headsets to an iPhone

I have a Jawbone Bluetooth headset and a Jabra Bluetooth Auto Kit. I have been able to pair each one to my iPhone, but not at the same time. I want to use the Jabra while in my car and the Jawbone when I’m not in my car. Does anyone know how to pair 2 non-Apple headsets to an iPhone?

I use a car hands-free system, and a motorbike helmet one. Both works fine with iPhone, what is your problem. Obviously, don't try to turn both on at the same time, you will never know which one connected first, but the behavior is pretty straightforward : When you turn your headset on, it may try to connect to your phone, or will try when there is an incoming call, it depends on your headset.
All you have to do is turn off your headset while you are in the car.

  • IPhone 5S bluetooth pairing with prius in-car phone Issue

Let me begin by saying that this is my first problem with any apple device!  EVER!!
I have an Verizon iPhone 5S, less than 2 months old, with the new OS 8.0.2 update and it will no longer pair correctly with my 2012 Prius V's in-car bluetooth phone.  You try to call someone, it doesn't connect and you can't hang up!!!! Then auto-calls them when you turn the bluetooth on (in the phone)... but doesn't physically make the call on the phone.  Now if the bluetooth in my phone is on, and I even start the car, the car states it's trying to call home.  I have attempted many of the following in different combinations with no success:
Tried to end the call on the car's interface (it won't turn off), pressed the hang up button on the steering wheel -- nada.
    Restarted Phone
    Turned Car on/off/on
Removed all pairings and re-paired them together
Made sure the LTE option was on (the iPhone 6 option, which seems to be relatively successful, for data and voice/voice only/data only is not an option on iPhone 5S)
Now, my husband has a Droid 4 and it works seamlessly with the bluetooth pairing.  The car does play, through the bluetooth, Audio through the phone.
I guess I should also state I did NOT have any issues with iOS 8.0 or the 8.0.1 upgrades with pairing with the car's bluetooth technology.  I have checked and my Entune "upgrades" are all up to date.

    Hello Sorridera,
The article linked below details a number of steps that can restore your iPhone's ability to correctly connect to your vehicle's Bluetooth system.

  • Bluetooth Pairing with Microsoft Sync - Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD

After the upgrade of my father-in-law's phone to KitKat (v 4.4.2) the bluetooth pairing to his Microsoft Sync in a 2013 Ford Explorer no longer works right. After deleting the pairing on the vehicle and then repairing, the contacts do not copy over. It says "downloading contacts, please wait" then comes back a few seconds later saying "no contacts". I've deleted and recreated the pairing on the vehicle twice but I cannot seem to delete it in the displayed devices on the phone.
    I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks for confirming Werica. I'm pleased to hear that the bluetooth functionality is still working. This sounds more specific to the hands free bluetooth system in your vehicle. Have you been able to test the device with another vehicle or another bluetooth capable accessory? If the device will works successfully with the others, I apologize our control is limited with a specific vehicle.

  • I have iphone 6 with ios 8.1.1. The bluetooth pairs with my sony car radio and everything works fine. However, the iphone won't stop searching for other devices.

I have an iPhone 6 with ios 8.1.1 operating system. The Bluetooth pairs with my Sony car radio and works fine. However, the iPhone will not stop searching for other devices. This does not seem to affect anything, but I can't help but think it is using battery power.

    One possibility:
How do you know it is searching for other devices?  Because you opened Settings > Bluetooth?
Why is it searching for other devices? Because you opened Settings > Bluetooth?

  • HT204387 Does the IPhone 4S support NFC technology for Bluetooth pairing?

Does the IPhone 4s support NFC technology for Bluetooth pairing.

NFC and bluetooth are not the same thing.
The iPhone (no currently existing model) does not have the hardware required for NFC.
