I want to add a field in the seletion screen and when the user enters data , it should store in the data base table, the data base table is MKPF-BKTXT, please can any one let me know how to do this... very urgent...

Try to use EXIT_SAPMM07M_001, it's to update the item (not header) text, but you can try to use it:

i have the requirement to enhance the transaction qm11( Report : RQMELL10) to add the custom fields on the report selection screen and in the report output.
i tried to add the fields on selection screen by copy the standard program RQMELL10 to custom one. and tried to add the fields above to the coding tab but i am not able to display the text for those fields of select-options. can any one help me is it the right way to copy the standard program to custom program and adding the custom fields and how to get the text element for the custom fields which we are going to add it. i tried to add the text element in program text elements but it is not appering on the report.
please requeting the help asap if it is possible.

Setting only the TO field on the Created on Field in Selection screen to Current date

Hello,
We have a requirement to Set only the To date in the Created on Field in Selection screen to the Current date, I have tried through Dynamic variable option to set the Date calculation but I am able to see Options to set the Current date to From or From and To Created on Date fields instead of setting the Current date only to To created on Field.
We are in 4.7 and are not supported with user defined variables, Appreciate your inputs on this.

what Text field you want to change.
Since you are working with Dynpros , you have to split the screen in two parts, and one for the Showing differenet fonts and other your normal Dynpro information.
you need to use the Method ADD_TEXT Did you check the program DD_STYLE_TABLE.

Adding fields to database table and copying data from other fields

I am having a database table where in I am having a column 'FIELD1'.
My requirement is that I want to add two more fields in the table 'FIELD2' and 'FIELD3'.
I then want to copy all the data in field1 to field2 and field3. then I want to delete the original field1.
for Ex.
lets say FIELD1 = 100.
now I want to add FIELD2 and FIELD3 in the table and make FIELD2 = 100 AND FIELD3 = 100. The FIELD1 will be deleted from table.
Please suggest the methods to do so.

Validate a field on selection screen based on value entered on anothr field

HI,
There is a program with some fields in selection screen in EWM. The first field is Warehouse. I need to add another field 'Entity to Dispose' in such that what ever value I enter in Warehouse field, its corresponding values should only be displayed as F4 help for 'Entity to Dispose' field.
For eg: If I select the warehouse as 0799(lets say), then the F4 help for Entity to Dispose field should display only the values which are related to warehouse 0799 (and any other values pertaining to other warehouse should not appear).
Could anyone suggest, how this can be achieved?

You can use FM
DYNP_VALUES_READ
DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE
to read the another field value and Using that field build your internal table for f4 values.
and use FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST for F4 values..
do this on AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST FOR <YOUR_F4_FIELDNAME>.

Hi,
Once you copied the standard report to Z report, you can MTART in selection screen like below.
and in order to inlcude the same in programming logic, we have three option.
1) Check all related select queries, and include MTART in SELECT query using inner join with MARA.
2) In START-OF-SELECTION event fill MATNR as shown below.
3) If user entered any value in MTART, then before displaying the report just check material type of each material in the final internal table(which is used to display report) delete enteries from internal table accordingly.

IF MTART[] IS NOT INITIAL AND MATNR[] IS INITIAL.
    SELECT MATNR FROM MARA INTO MATNR-LOW WHERE MTART IN MTART.

Selection-screen and GET

Hi all,
in my program i use PNP logical database, so system create automatically selection screen. Nice.
When user fill selection screen event start-of-selection is launched and i do GET PERNR for read data from PNP.
But my customer want to add field in selection screen. Ok, i did that. Well, now he want that when a user fills new fields the PNP is not read i.e GET PERNR shouldn't be launched, so i my program i write this :
if myfield is initial.
GET PERNR.
else.
PERFORM get_data.
endif.
But when i compile program i can't do that and i don't know how to make this and if it's possible.

1. u have created a z report and
   u are using PNP logical database.
2. u say,
, now he want that when a user fills new fields the PNP is not read i.e GET PERNR shouldn't be launched
suppose this is achieved, then how
are u going to fetch the data
and show the report ?
3. If u already have the logic for
   getting information from database and showing
   to the user,
   then do not use GET event.
(It is not compulsory in a ldb)
4. Instead use START-OF-SELECTION
   event
   and do the normal programming.
5. In such case,
   the selection screen (and ur extra field(s))
   will be displayed as usual
   and your own code will get triggered
   at start-of-selection.

if it is a normal report program then you can directly create a Selection screen field.
After the Type-pool you can use Parameters or Select-options to create the selection screen field..
If it is a Modulpool program then you can create a selection scren field like
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 1100 AS SUBSCREEN.
PARAMETERS: p1(10) TYPE c.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 1100.
defines a selection screens 1100 as subscreens.
The next screen number of screen 100 is 100 (statically-defined).
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE status_0100.

Transaction DP97: Need to add 2 fields on selection screen...

I am using ECC6.0. I need to add 2 extra fields on selection screen of transaction DP97. Program name is RVPKMASS97. i did not find any screen-exit for this. Please can anybody suggest any other way to add fields on selection screen... I think i can use enhancement points. please help if anybody has previously worked on this. I need to know following things:
1) how to add 2 fields on selection screen ( 2 fields are : MATNR-Service product and FFPRF-DIP profile)
2) where to add programming logic for this

Hi,
Go to program RVPKMASS97.
Go inside INCLUDE rvpkmasspar.
(When you double click on the include a pop up screen will come up and in that select the RVPKMASS97)
Click on spiral icon there on the tool bar.
right click on the '
ENHANCEMENT-POINT RVPKMASSPAR_01 SPOTS ES_RVPKMASSPAR STATIC INCLUDE BOUND .' line and select enhancement-> create. and give some implementation name and text.
now you can declare ur fields in this implementation.
After declaring save it and activate it.
Now go back to ur txn and run. you are able to see the custom fields on the screen.

Add new fields to selection screen for standard billing dule list in CRM

Hi ,
I have one issue with standard program ,tcode is /BEA/IPMI01.
SUB: Adding few new fields like IP to selection screen AND few fields to output list.
As this is a standard program (tcode: /bea/ipmi01) , i searched for BADI,EXITS but couldn't .
Can any one help me how to handle this with out cloning the standard one.
I got some information but succeed.
in SPRO.
/CRM/BILLING/SYSTEM ENHANCMENTS/access billing engine navigator. you will find selection design in the path
/CRMB/OBJECT/DL/REPORT/SELECTION GROPS/DLA/SELECTION FEIDLS.
we can find selecton at this place but i couldnot find how to add new fieds.
Note: i found whatever we do , it willl reflect once we regenerated the program.

You may be able to create an append structure to the standard output structure/table. Go to SE11, open the structure and click on append structure.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN is the event triggered in the PAI of the selection screen.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN on field field_name is the event specific to the field and is triggered when u press enter in that field.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN selscreen_event.
Effect
This statement defines event blocks for different events selscreen_event that are triggered by the ABAP runtime environment during selection screen processing.
Selection screen events occur immediately before sending a selection screen and after certain user actions on a displayed selection screen. They assist in selection screen processing in the ABAP program.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN is triggered at least twice during actions on selection screens that are linked into another selection screen as a subscreen - first for the linked selection screen itself, and then for the linking selection screens.

Effect
This statement defines a node node in the structure of the logical database for field selection. If a node belongs to type T, you can use the TABLE addition instead of NODE. The statement cannot be used for type C nodes. .
If a node is defined for field selection, you can use an executable program linked to the logical database in the GET statement to control which fields in the node are to be read by the logical database. If you use the function module LDB_PROCESS, the FIELD_SELECTION parameter must be specified accordingly.

I want a pop up on selection screen when user clicks the push button on selection screen pop up should come on selection screen and display the all field of YTLEA table. when user checks few or all field from pop up then data for that field is selected from the YTLEA table.

To create a pushbutton on the selection screen, you use:
SELECTION SCREEN PUSHBUTTON [/]<pos(len)> <push>
USER-COMMAND <ucom> [MODIF ID <key>].
The [/]<pos(len)> parameters and the MODIF IF addition have the same function as for the formatting options for underlines and comments.
<push> determines the pushbutton text. For <push>, you can specify a text symbol or a field name with a maximum length of eight characters. This character field must not be declared with the DATA statement, but is generated automatically with length <len>. The field must be filled before the selection screen is called.
For <ucom>, you must specify a code of up to four characters. When the user clicks the pushbutton on the selection screen, <ucom> is entered in the UCOMM of the SSCRFIELDS interface work area. You must use the TABLES statement to declare the SSCRFIELDS structure. The contents of the SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM field can be processed during the AT SELECTION-SCREENevent.
